What You Can Expect

The Neptune Project Management Director will be responsible for implementing the project plan in accordance with the permits granted by Federal authorities, including the US Maritime Administration (MARAD) and the US Coast Guard (USCG). This role involves managing the project team, including ENGIE staff and contractors, to ensure successful decommissioning while enforcing ENGIE’s Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and standards. Compliance with all other ENGIE policies, such as procurement and ethics, is also essential. The Director will oversee contract management, budget, and schedule, seeking necessary approvals for any material deviations. In addition, the Director will actively manage project risks, maintain relationships with stakeholders at federal and state/local levels, and seek appropriate support from ENGIE’s organization, including the Networks GBU Americas’ Project Support and Implementation team and the North America Hub’s teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Implementing the project plan in accordance with permits and ensuring compliance with ENGIE’s HSE, procurement, and ethics policies
• Managing the project team for decommissioning, overseeing contract management, and ensuring adherence to budget and schedule
• Maintaining stakeholder relationships at federal, state, and local levels, and securing necessary approvals during project execution.
• Commuting between Houston and Massachusetts during the operational phase to ensure ENGIE’s local representation, with weekly travel anticipated based on project needs

Compensation

Salary Range: $146,300 – $235,342 USD annually

Your responsibilities as Vibration Project Engineer (F/M/X)

In order to meet the demand for activities related to the identification of problem root causes or design assessment within the Cluster Mechanical & Thermal Processes, we are looking for a Vibration and Mechanics Project Engineer who wants to develop his/her career in the field of Condition Monitoring and Vibrations analysis. 

In this role, you will be fully involved in the follow-up of vibration behaviour of turbo generator shaft lines involving complex root cause analysis of rotating machinery. You will also advise our customers regarding the best condition monitoring strategies for their specific assets based on your sound technical and up-to-date solutions knowledge.

You will work alongside a supportive team, and will have access to professional development opportunities to help you grow in your own career.

Specifically this means:

• Performing detailed vibration analysis of turbo generator shaft lines.
• Analyzing mechanical problems and vibration issues of power plant components, adding value in the interpretation of the results and proposed solutions.

As our Sales Originator - Giants, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base with a focus on large commercial and industrial (C&I) customers who seek bespoke risk management capabilities in addition to traditional retail supply services. Your focus will be on optimizing generation availability, improving operational reliability, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Reporting to the Director of Field Services (AMPS), you’ll deliver reactive, predictive, and preventive maintenance support, adhering to NERC requirements for inspection, testing, and documentation. This encompasses a wide range of equipment, from wind turbines and solar inverters to batteries, weather stations, PV arrays, breakers, transformers, regulators, capacitors, and reactors.

As an active participant in the behavior-based safety program, ensure that all team members and contractors comply with safety procedures and task-oriented job safety analyses. Communicate and enforce site safety rules through Site-Specific Orientations, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and meetings. Demonstrate procedural compliance in site operation and maintenance by following established procedures. Facilitate daily work, including report production. Inspect, operate, and repair site equipment both directly and remotely. Coordinate High Voltage (HV) switching and curtailments with local utilities and the Independent System Operator (ISO). Maintain site equipment to the highest standards for availability, reliability, efficiency, and profitability. Use work planning skills, schedule activities, and follow up to ensure work conformance. Conduct routine inspections, prepare oil analysis samples, and use safety tools and personal protective equipment (PPE). Manage on-site work coordination among contractors and vendors, support technology upgrades, and maintain cleanliness. Comply with contractual and legal obligations impacting plant operation. Provide equipment operation training to contractors and other site employees. Consistently apply Job Safety Plan techniques, hazard controls, and permits to work (LOTO) when addressing plant abnormalities and equipment failures. Utilize computerized Work Order, Purchase Requisition, and Receiving software.

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum two (2) years diploma in a technical program where you have learned AC/ DC electrical theory, understand reading blue prints and schematics, industrial electrical equipment including breaker, disconnects, transformers, contactors or Equivalent Military or Trade school
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in Solar generation sites, Battery Energy Storage Systems, (BESS), Wind generation sites, Utility scale power plants, Sub-station POI, or Controls & Instrumentation Maintenance. Renewables Solar and BESS construction experience or commissioning power plants a plus
• HV Experience. Trades qualifications and certifications acceptable: (HV Lineman, Electrician, Substation Technician, or Controls Technician)
• Obtain AVO certification or equivalent as substation technician within 12 months of hire date
• Be proficient in using and maintaining SCADA systems

Additional Details

• This is a field position requiring daily travel to client site(s)
• Must be available to travel domestically to other solar plants for emergencies and assist with outages up to 70% of the time
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record to drive company vehicle on and around the plant
• Ability to travel nationally at short notice and work for periods of time remote from your home to support our operational assets
• Must be willing and able to comply with ENGIE’s policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testing

What You Can Expect

As an Augmented Maintenance Project Support (AMPS) Technician, your role involves providing onsite support services in the northern region of Texas and surrounding areas. You’ll be responsible for project commissioning, inspection, troubleshooting, analysis, maintenance, repair, and upgrades of operational assets. These assets include wind turbines, solar panels, BESS storage technology, and high or medium voltage substations. Your focus will be on optimizing generation availability, improving operational reliability, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Reporting to the Director of Field Services (AMPS), you’ll deliver reactive, predictive, and preventive maintenance support, adhering to NERC requirements for inspection, testing, and documentation. This encompasses a wide range of equipment, from wind turbines and solar inverters to batteries, weather stations, PV arrays, breakers, transformers, regulators, capacitors, and reactors.

As an active participant in the behavior-based safety program, ensure that all team members and contractors comply with safety procedures and task-oriented job safety analyses. Communicate and enforce site safety rules through Site-Specific Orientations, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and meetings. Demonstrate procedural compliance in site operation and maintenance by following established procedures. Facilitate daily work, including report production. Inspect, operate, and repair site equipment both directly and remotely. Coordinate High Voltage (HV) switching and curtailments with local utilities and the Independent System Operator (ISO). • You participate in international projects, together with other European Tractebel Entities;

Candidate’s profile:

• Proficiency in Civil Engineering design and structural calculations.
• You have excellent expertise in AUTOCAD
• You have expertise in using calculation software ( Etabs/ SCIA/ROBOT)
• You have knowledge of design norms and regulations ( Eurocodes);
• A good knowledge of English is a must, and knowledge of French is an advantage;
• You have strong teamwork skills and a taste for energy technologies.

Assistant Facilities Manager
