Responsibilities

  • Trusted partner within the assigned client group:
    • Consult, advise, coach and partner with MDs, Directors and managers to understand, plan and implement people’s strategies. Act as advocate for employees
  • Co-leads rollout of HR core processes in alignment with HR CoE’s:
    • Organizational Management
    • Development & Talent Management
    • Performance Management
    • Compensation & Benefits
    • Labour Law
    • Change Management
    • Internal Communication
    • Employee counselling
  • Develop and drive ad-hoc HR-led projects
  • Collaborate in assigned Business-led projects
  • SPOC for HR GBUs and Hub

 

Requirements

  • 10+ experience acting in Sr HRBP / HR Management roles in matrixed multinational, best-class companies.
  • Strong understanding of various HR functions, including talent management, local labour law, compensation and HR systems.
  • Business acumen: demonstrated ability to understand and apply knowledge of the business to achieve company’s goals through people management strategies.
  • Communication Skills: adequate gravitas and influencing skills to interact with business leaders and employees at all levels.
  • Data literacy: ability to use data, metrics and evidence to drive decision-making and change.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, labour relations business administration or related field plus postgraduate studies (preferred MBA).
  • Spanish native speaker plus English C2 level.

Purpose of the Job 

ENGIE UK is made up of several Global Business Units (GBUs) and a Global Energy Management and Sales (GEMS) team. Traditionally, communications activity has been owned by the different GBUs and delivered by colleagues embedded within those brands.  Today, however, we are moving to an exciting, centralised “One ENGIE” approach.  

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised communicator who can help support the whole communications team and assist with the planning, creation, and execution of our strategy. 

This is a new role in our business and an exciting opportunity to gain experience across the whole comms spectrum at a fast-growing, ambitious, and purpose-driven global business.  
 
Key deliverables: 

  • Content creation and channel management 
  • Using Poppulo, create and send a monthly newsletter with versions tailored for different colleague populations 
  • Using a Wordpress CMS, upload news onto our global communications app 
  • With support from the comms team, create and own social media content plans which share and amplify content from across our businesses 
  • With support from the comms team, create and post social media assets, monitoring our feeds and escalating where responses are needed 
  • Own the UK Sharepoint intranet site and keep pages up to date with content  
  • Creation of general comms collateral when required, including colleague emails, presentations, blogs, articles, posters, assets etc 
  • Support with the creation of communications plans, both internal and external  

Measurement  

  • Report on engagement stats from our various channels such as read rates, click throughs etc  
  • Create and collate survey feedback  

Administration 

  • Help to arrange town halls, webinars and other events/meetings 
  • Help to arrange company conferences/offsites  
  • Support with the editorial planner and annual comms planner  
  • Issue communications to the business  
  • Support the business with communications needs as required  

 
Qualifications & Experience: 

  • At least two/three years of communications experience, ideally within the energy sector  
  • Comfortable working at pace within a complex matrix environment  
  • Experience in a multinational organisation  
  • Degree or formal qualification in relevant subject 

 

Knowledge And Skills: 

  • Outstanding writer, able to write for different audiences and make the complex simple  
  • Experienced at using various CMS systems such as Wordpress  
  • Experienced at content planning for social media  
  • Great stakeholder skills and a real “people” person  
  • Ability to work independently and within a team, and with a range of different stakeholders 
  • Ability to use tools such as Canva to create assets and templates  
  • Good logistical / planning skills 
  • Proactive and able to prioritise

Funciones principales:

  • Revisar la infraestructura tecnológica de una organización y realizar las migraciones necesarias a la nube.
  • Vigilar el rendimiento de los sistemas basados en la nube y realizar mejoras cuando sea necesario. Así como la protección de la actividad en caso de problemas de seguridad, incluyendo la protección de los datos de la empresa en la nube.
  • Elaborar de manera adecuada varios procesos, incluyendo sistemas informáticos, de red y de seguridad. Así como funcionalidades y aplicaciones que faciliten al personal acceder a las herramientas basadas en la nube.
  • Asesorar al personal y las partes implicadas para que aprendan a utilizar de manera apropiada la tecnología basada en la nube.
  • Participar y realizar en planes de recuperación ante posibles caídas de los sistemas. Así como en la gestión de las redes en la nube.
  • Revisar posibles problemas en la carga de las aplicaciones.
  • Monitorizar los sistemas y crear alertas para detectar o prevenir fallos.
  • Conocer los servicios que la nube provee y usarlos en el diseño de las aplicaciones. Migrando aplicaciones locales y otros servicios informáticos a la nube.
  • Informar y realizar políticas de ahorro de costes en la nube conociendo cómo sacar el máximo provecho a los servicios con el mínimo coste.
  • Participar la implementación y cumplimiento de las Políticas de Seguridad e Higiene, Diversidad, Ciberseguridad, Medio Ambiente, Sostenibilidad, Ética y Compliance, así como de los procedimientos y procesos definidos en la organización.
  • Asesorar y desarrollar el equipo humano asignado, maximizando su contribución a la organización. Colaborar en la definición e implementación de la Cultura Corporativa.

Your Mission as Senior Buyer :

In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing Business Partner Satisfaction and ensuring Compliance: Achieving overall satisfaction and cost reductions while adhering to governance and INCOME rules. This includes conducting daily purchasing activities professionally, respecting governance rules, meeting internal customer expectations, and maintaining close contact with Business Partners for early involvement in assigned files.

Your Key Responsibilities as Senior Buyer :

  • Needs Analysis and Optimization: Analyze and optimize procurement needs as assigned by the Head of Purchasing.
  • Business Partner Engagement: Maintain continuous contact with internal business partners to anticipate their procurement needs.
  • Procurement Process Execution:

Your Profile as Senior Buyer :

  • Experience/Diploma:
    • University degree in Engineering or Economics (preferred) or equivalent experience.
    • At least 5 years of relevant procurement experience, especially in technical projects and Framework Agreements for Works & Services.
    • Technical background (by diploma or experience), preferably in power generation domains.
  • Technical/Business Skills:
    • Solid procurement knowledge (negotiation, supplier & contract management, governance, P2P-processes).
    • Proficiency in STAR (SAP).
    • Knowledge of power plant environment (processes, principles & main equipment) is a plus.
  • Behavioral Skills:
    • Proactive, interactive, positive attitude, and structured approach.
    • Ability to work in complex team project organizations.
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
    • Team player with resilience to stress.
  • Languages:
    • Fluent in one of the 2 national language : Dutch and/or French
