For our Technical Trainee Program starting on the 1st of September 2025, we are looking for Technical Trainees (M/F/X) for our EMS (European Maintenance Services, part of ENGIE Generation Europe) which is responsible for the specialised maintenance of power plant turbines, alternators, high-voltage installations and boilers, among others. 

 

WE OFFER YOU as Technical Trainee (M/F/X)

A 24-month rotation programme where you will  :

  • Extensive on-the-job training and coaching by a mentor, senior experts and managers
  • Further expand your technical knowledge as you will be doing maintenance in various Engie power plants and battery farms in Belgium and abroad (mainly France and the Netherlands).
  • Through 4 varied missions in different maintenance sequences, find out what interests you most as a technical: working on large rotating equipment (gas and steam turbines), high and medium voltage equipment, boilers, pumps and fans and smaller aero-turbines 
  • Starting together with 3 other trainees with whom you can exchange experiences and knowledge
  • Get a permanent contract with:
    • a monthly indexed basic salary on top of which you will receive numerous bonuses depending on your work regime (shift premium), weekend work and/or overtime (allowance and compensation in leave days) and place of employment (mobility bonus)
    • an end-of-year bonus, double holiday pay and collective bonus
    • a service vehicle, mobile phone and data plan

YOUR PROFILE as Technical Trainee (M/F/X)

  • You followed a professional bachelor or graduate degree in mechanical/electrical/electromechanical engineering/energy technology/process technology/electromechanical systems
  • You are a recent graduate or have 2 years' experience maximum
  • You speak English, Dutch and/or French and are willing to learn the other national language.
  • You are flexible in terms of working hours and place of employment. You are willing to do shift/weekend work during missions and to travel 30% of your time.
  • You are in possession of driving license B

As our Contracts Intern, in Columbus, OH, at The Ohio State University. What You Can Expect

Our Meters and Controls Supervisor based at the University of Iowa Main Campus in Iowa City, IA.  Will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Technician staff related to the operations, maintenance, and repair activities associated with the Utility Network and metering systems.

 

Daily you will be providing assignments for our Team of E&I Technicians, and providing coordination for work performed by other disciplines such as network and controls engineers,  cybersecurity analysts, and trades including electricians, steamfitters, and contractors. You will be using your knowledge and experience to build, supervise, and train our team who installs, operates, troubleshoots, and maintains the Utility Network and associated systems focusing on the primary goals of safety, reliability and stewardship. You will determine jobsite work sequences and safety procedures required. You will procure materials, coordinates outages with customers, direct work and direct unplanned outage restoration activities.

 

  • You will provide all supervisory support for direct reports such as ensuring that all regular scheduling, On-call emergency response scheduling, PTO or vacation, or other time off work operations, and that team members are properly documented for payroll and attendance records
  • You will proactively address issues as they arise
  • You’ll participate in the filling of vacancies
  • You will assist the operating staff in responding to (attend) any operational incidents or emergencies on a 24/7/365 basis
  • You will recommend staffing plans to provide enhanced quality and efficiency of service delivery
  • You will provide technical and coordination support to capital projects which impact the Utility Network systems
    • Work with project teams, other internal departments, contractors, and end users to coordinate related work

  • You will support and help drive a robust maintenance management program focused on preventive and predictive maintenance utilizing the full capabilities of our CMMS system

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of an Associate’s (AAS) degree in Automation & Instrumentation (A&I) or Electronics Engineering Technology (EET), Other/similar technical programs of study may be considered
  • In lieu of AAS degree specified as above, A High School diploma  and two (2) years of direct work experience with industrial automation and controls may be considered
  • You must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in industrial automation and controls in addition to the above requirements
  • You must have a valid state issued driver's license, this role requires operation of company vehicles
  • Knowledge of utility systems and equipment
  • Knowledge of tools and methods necessary to troubleshoot and maintain utility network and control systems and equipment
  • Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the trade

ENGIE North America is hiring a Solar Technician for our Solar Site located near Temple, TX.  

 

Your daily responsibilities begin with accessing tasks via SCADA, Maximo, or various SAP software systems and repairing, troubleshooting, and fulfilling technical repair work orders for solar panels. You will manage documentation, update parts inventory, and as well as submit on-site status reports, including daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, and initiate work orders for equipment repairs.

 

  • Coordination of high voltage switching activities with local utilities and independent system operators (ISO), which includes tasks like substation operations, equipment lockouts and grounding
  • Adhere to safety protocols such as conducting Site-Specific Orientations, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and safety meetings
  • While you will primarily work independently on-site, there will always be a nearby technician for safety support; the site's team comprises of a site manager, a Balance of Plant technician, and the solar technician. You will also be a part of an on-call rotation for outages and emergencies; therefore, you must reside within 50 miles of the site.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum two (2) years diploma in a technical program where you have learned AC/ DC electrical theory, understand reading blue prints and schematics, industrial electrical equipment including breaker, disconnects, transformers, contactors
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in Solar generation sites, Wind generation sites
  • Manufacturing or Mining operations, or Controls & Industrial Maintenance
  • Must have or be willing to obtain certification by AVO as substation technician within 12 months of hire date
  • Capacity to be on call as deemed necessary by supervisor

Distrigaz Sud Rețele, filiala a ENGIE Romania, este liderul distribuției de gaze naturale în România. Cu o expertiză de peste 47 de ani în acest domeniu, compania deține contracte de concesiune pentru distribuția de gaze naturale în 1.358 de localități, pe raza a 20 de județe din sudul și centrul României și a municipiului București, gestionând o rețea de distribuție de peste 22.500 de km.

Ce vei face:

  • Vei înregistra documentele și informațiile primite de la furnizori și cele de la interfețele interne în sistemul informatic.
  • Vei răspunde de gestionearea în aplicațiile informatice a etapelor necesare realizării lucrărilor aferente racordării clienților la rețeaua de distribuție prin introducerea informațiilor și documentelor din sfera de activitate pe tot fluxul derulării lucrărilor.
  • Vei asigura prelucrarea datelor privind execuția lucrărilor de investiții, urmad pașii procedurali privind capitalizarea acestora în termenele ce decurd din obiectivele companiei.
  • Vei raspunde de corectitudinea datelor introduse în sistemele informatice și/sau transmise furnizorilor și interlocutorilor interni, și/sau înscrise în documentele redactate cu privire la costurile și valorile de decontare aferente lucrărilor (taxe, avize, regularizări, valoarea situațiilor de lucari).
  • Vei identifica neconformitatile și le vei prezinta managerului superior.
  • Vei asigura înregistrarea și transmiterea tuturor elementelor tehnico-economice conform procedurilor interne, în termenele stabilite în scopul capitalizării mijloacelor fixe.
  • Vei raspunde de stabilirea valorilor de Construcții Montaj și de mijloace fixe pentru lucrările ce ți-au fost repartizate pentru tratarea și întocmirea borderoului de defalcare a mijloacelor fixe, precum și de completarea proceselor verbale de recepție la terminarea lucrărilor (PVRTL) și predarea acestora la contabilitate.
  • Vei recepționa în SAP sau alte aplicații informatice, fiecare lucrare, în baza situațiilor de lucrări validate de dirigintele de șantier și de management. După ultima situație de lucrări, vei bifa închiderea comenzii de aprovizionare, terminarea lucrării și închide proiectul după cumularea tuturor cheltuielilor pe proiect.
  • Vei asigura înregistrarea, emiterea și transmiterea documentelor și informațiilor necesare capitalizării mijloacelor fixe și raportării acestora la ANRE.

 

Experiență, calificări, cunoștințe și abilități:

  • Studii  medii finalizate cu diplomă de bacalaureat;
  • Minimum 6 luni experiență în lucru cu baze de date și aplicații informatice care gestionează un volum mare de informații și documente;
  • Cunoștințe privind utilizarea pachetului Office (WORD, XLS) la nivel mediu;
  • Comunicare clară și convingătoare, atât verbal cât și în scris;
  • Demonstrează responsabilitate pentru activitățile desfășurate;
  • Capacitatea de a respecta termenele limită și de a lucra sub presiunea timpului;
  • Capacitate de planificare și organizare;
  • Atenție la detalii;
  • Atitudine activă în soluționarea problemelor.

 

Constituie avantaj:

  • Studii  superioare finalizate cu diplomă de licență;
  • Experiență în domeniul distribuției gazelor naturale;
  • Experiență în utilizarea SAP;
  • Cunoștinte privind legislația domeniului de activitate.
