Pour la Business Unit Renewable Energy (RES), nous sommes à la recherche d’un Business Developer (H/F/X) pour la Wallonie!

VOS RESPONSABILITES comme Business Developer Wallonie

  • Vous gérez un portefeuille de projets en énergie renouvelable (principalement éolien) dans différentes phases de développement de l’identification des zones potentielles jusqu’à la phase de construction du projet.
  • Les projets sont extrêmement variés, avec un accent sur les aspects urbanisme et environnement. Vous coordonnez les études techniques, économiques et environnementales, et gérez les demandes d'autorisations et les dossiers :
    • Vous défendez vos projets auprès de fonctionnaires techniques, fonctionnaires délégués et du cabinet ministériel.
    • Vous gérez le développement technique et raccordement au réseau électrique, en étroite collaboration avec le gestionnaire de réseau et l'expert réseau.
    • Vous assurez le développement final du projet en collaboration avec des ingénieurs et des experts afin que la meilleure technologie soit choisie en fonction du site éolien/solaire spécifique.
    • Sur base d’offres engageantes, un business plan est établi que vous présentez devant le comité d'investissement interne au Groupe ENGIE.
    • Vous garantissez ensuite un transfert fluide vers l'équipe se chargeant de la construction et réalisation.
  •  Vous travaillez avec les départements juridique, achats, communication, finances, et entretenez des contacts avec les autorités locales et régionales.
  • Vous jouez un rôle central dans la communication entre les équipes internes pour assurer la cohérence et le succès du projet.
  • Vous faites partie d’une équipe de 5 Business Developers sur la Wallonie et rapportez au Head of Business Development Wallonie.

VOTRE PROFIL comme Business Developer Wallonie

  • Vous disposez d'un Master technique, juridique, commercial ou financier ou d'un niveau d'expérience équivalent.
  • Vous avez une expérience professionnelle dans le domaine de l’urbanisme, environnement ou de l’immobilier et/ou au sein d’une entité publique et/ou dans la gestion de projets techniques industriels (développement et/ou réalisation - construction, électricité et/ou mécanique).
  • Vous coordonnez vos projets en toute autonomie, de la planification au suivi en passant par la gestion du budget, des contrats, des achats et de toutes les parties prenantes au projet.
  • Vous communiquez aisément avec différents interlocuteurs, aimez prendre la parole en public et défendez aisément vos idées et vos projets.
  • Vous êtes mobile et appréciez vous rendre sur les sites en projet dans toute la Wallonie.

YOUR MISSION as an Electrical Engineer 

  • You get the chance to build up knowhow, develop and maintain long-term maintenance strategies in the field of maintenance on excitation systems and other electrical equipment such as static frequency converters, variable frequency drives, protection systems 
  • It is your goal to become an expert in the eld in order to support both ENGIE and non-ENGIE sites. 
  • In order to become an expert you will: 
  • ensure the day by day technical support of the dierent electrical maintenance teams within EMS: 15 à 20% of your time. 
  • initiate and realize improvement and replacement projects on electrical equipment. play a key role in the preparation, execution and consolidation of overhauls on electrical equipment. 
  • conduct Root-Cause Analyses and define corrective and preventive actions in the case of incidents or non-conformities observed during outages. 
  • You constantly develop and consolidate your knowhow by driving internal return of experience processes and through participation to internal and external network events. 
  • You work as a team and in collaboration with dierent internal and external stakeholders. 

 

YOUR PROFILE as Electrical Engineer  

  • You hold a Master Degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering in Electricity/Power Systems/Energy/Mathematics /Physics. 
  • You have a professional knowledge of English and French or Dutch.  
  • You hold strong analytical skills, you are a problem solver and want to further develop your knowledge in the electrical field in order to become a reference in this domain inside and outside ENGIE. 
  • You’re a true team player who works together towards common goals. 
  • You are a good communicator and are able to collaborate with various types of people: both technicians and engineers. 
  • Previous experience with OEMs and understanding of grid requirements is a plus

We are currently looking for a Generator Expert (F/M/X) within the European Maintenance Services (EMS) organization . EMS in Engie is responsible for executing specialized maintenance activities in different powerplants in Belgium and Europe (mostly Netherlands and France).

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES as Generator Expert 

  • Technical Leadership: Identify and analyse incidents or non-conformities during outages, conduct root-cause analyses, and define corrective and preventive actions.
  • Field Assessment: Perform on-site machine condition assessments and mechanical and electrical measurements.
  • Knowledge Development: Develop and consolidate all technical information and know-how on generators within EMS by participating in internal and external networks and ensuring processes are adequately adapted.
  • Knowledge Sharing and Training: Share your knowledge, coach team members, and determine appropriate training modules to maintain EMS's competencies in generators.
  • Long-Term Strategy: Develop a long-term strategy for the maintenance of generators and their components per entity. Initiate and implement improvements based on technical-financial analyses (business case) and assist in negotiating maintenance contracts.

 

YOUR PROFILE as Generator Expert  

  • You hold a Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering or equivalent by experience
  • You have relevant experience in generator design/manufacturing/ maintenance/ commissioning
  • You have good analytical and problem-solving skills and you know how to log your knowledge, plans and works in solid reports
  • You like to work in a team and take into account the opinions of your stakeholders (EMS colleagues powerplant staff, service provider personnel, insurers…)
  • You have a good working knowledge of English and speak either Dutch or French
  • You are OK to move to different sites and prepared to spend 30% of your working time abroad
  • You always take responsibility for the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues!

VOTRE DEFI comme Responsable de Production

 

  • Vous êtes le responsable du poste de commande de la centrale et vous assurez le bon fonctionnement de cette dernière, en collaboration avec un Opérateur. A ce titre, vous êtes responsable de la disponibilité de l’installation et de sa production sur le réseau électrique.
  • Vous analysez les anomalies techniques et vous décidez des actions immédiates à prendre. Vous travaillez avec le service de maintenance pour le diagnostic et l’intervention. Vous définissez les améliorations nécessaires pour réduire l’occurrence des pannes.
  • Vous êtes chargé de la mise en sécurité des circuits avant toute intervention
  • Vous poursuivez votre apprentissage et le partage d’information au sein de l’équipe
  • Vous participez aux différentes activités du Service Conduite (tests périodiques, formations, réunions, projets, processus administratifs, demandes spécifiques…)
  • Vous êtes en charge du suivi documentaire, des modifications de l’installation, du maintient en bon état de fonctionnement d’une partie de l’installation.

 

VOTRE PROFIL comme Responsable de Production

 

  • Vous êtes titulaire d'un Master à orientation technique (Ingénieur.e Civil ou Industriel) ou vous pouvez démontrer une expérience équivalente
  • Vous avez une expérience en management opérationnel, dans un domaine technique
  • Travailler en mode « service continu » (3 pauses) vous convient et vous avez la flexibilité nécessaire pour assurer des remplacements le cas échéant
  • Vous êtes clair.e, précis.e et pragmatique dans votre communication et dans vos décisions

For EMS (European Maintenance Support), we are currently looking for a Controls and Instrumentation Technician (M/F/X) in Belgium to join our EMS Aero derivatives Solution team.

 

YOUR RESPONSABILITIES as a Controls and Instrumentation Technician Gas turbines (M/F/X)

 

  • You get the opportunity to acquire knowledge, develop and maintain expertise in the field of thermal & Aero derivative Gas turbines.
  • The EMS Aero derivative Solutions department manages the instrumentation, control systems, and combustion systems of the gas turbines used for electricity production. Your goal will be to become an expert in your field to support our clients, both ENGIE and non-ENGIE.
  • In collaboration with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the I&C maintenance scopes on gas turbines in various power plants .
  • With the support of your colleagues, you will develop key maintenance competencies in the field of  instrumentation and control systems of aero derivative gas turbines (for ex. LM6000/LM2500).

We are currently looking for a (F/M/X) Digital Product Manager to join our Digital team at Laborelec in Linkebeek, Brussels suburbs, Belgium.

At ENGIE Laborelec Digital, we create digital products that help energy systems become smarter, cleaner, and more reliable. Your responsibilities 

 

As a Digital Product Manager, you’ll help guide one or more of our AI-enabled digital products. You’ll ensure the product creates real value, solves the right problems, and gets used in the field.

You’ll collaborate with product managers, developers, data scientists, energy experts, and end users—translating between needs, decisions, and delivery. It’s a role for someone who brings clarity, coordination, and energy to the table.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Keep the program vision and goals aligned with real user needs
  • Turn feedback, insights, and field experience into prioritized decisions
  • Inspiring and stimulating teams and stakeholders
  • Ensuring effective collaboration between different BU’s in Research & Innovation
  • Working on ideas in the ideation and exploration phase

Who you are

  • Experience in business development and delivery
  • Experience in digital product roles (e.g. product owner, domain referent or similar)
  • Familiarity with AI or data science - you don’t need to code, but you understand how these solutions are built and used.
  • Comfortable working in agile teams - where plans evolve and collaboration is key
  • People see you as a solution-oriented thinker - you bring ideas to the table, help move discussions forward, and keep the focus on what matters

YOUR ROLE as an Internal Communication Intern: 

 

You'll be at the forefront of our initiatives, creating adaptable content and communicating with diverse audiences. Your journey with us will encompass: 

 

  • Curating and managing communication channels  

  • Drafting copy for internal communication 

  • Translating emerging trends in digital and social for internal use 

  • Crafting captivating, adaptable visual content using tools like Canva 

  • Coordinating and adding flair to internal events and activations 

  • Collaborating on communication projects, including budget management experience 

 

YOUR PROFILE as an Internal Communication Intern: 

 

  • A student in a degree with focus on communication, where the internship is part of your curriculum.

  • A wizard with words, with sound written and verbal communication skills 

  • Mastery in crafting and refining content 

  • A don in digital media best practices for online content creation 

  • Organizational skills for coordinating activations from idea generation to execution 

  • Proficiency in internal communication tools and content editing software, with an eye for detail 

  • Hands-on in creating animations for social media and web platforms, enhancing your creative skillset 

  • Effective project management, meeting deadlines with quality output 

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and O365, honing your document and presentation skills 

  • A team player who can work autonomously and contributes with fresh ideas  

  • Customer-focused mindset, fostering positive interactions within our organization and with external partners 

  • Sharing your positivity and energy through internal actions and projects, fostering a vibrant team environment 

  • Fluent in either Dutch or French, with proficiency on professional level in the other national language, as well as English.

PRACTICAL:

  • No remuneration included since this is part of your education.
