YOUR RESPONSABILITIES as a Team Lead Field Technician Turbines

 

  • Maintenance & Supervision: Perform, organize, and supervise mechanical maintenance on industrial gas and steam turbines.
  • Project Preparation: Collaborate with engineers to define the scope, planning, and approach for each maintenance project.
  • Flexible Responsibilities: Take on varying roles depending on experience, including site supervision and resource coordination.
  • Safety & Troubleshooting: Ensure safety compliance, respond to unplanned incidents, and carry out hands-on problem-solving.
  • Reporting & Improvement: Draft daily and final reports, document lessons learned, and contribute to quality process enhancements

 

YOUR PROFILE as a Team Lead Field Technician Turbines

 

·        You are mechanically skilled (A2/bachelor/graduate electromechanics).

·        Experience in maintenance of turbines, aircraft engines, derivative gas turbines, wind turbines or large rotating equipment is mandatory.

·        You are fluent in English and willing to obtain basic level (A2) in French or Dutch.

·        You are flexible in terms of working hours and workplace. You see varying hourly schedules (day, shifts, weekends) as 'part of the job'. You are willing to perform work at our various sites in Belgium and abroad (mainly France and the Netherlands, max. 30%).

·        Your sense of ownership ensures that you don't cut corners and remain involved in a project until its completion.

Your mission

 

As Project Director in our Infrastructure division you will contribute to our mission everyday by playing a crucial role in the proper follow-up and execution of major integrated infrastructure projects,  each characterised by their specific context and often involving major works of art (tunnels, bridges,...). 

 

Your key responsabilities

 

  • Supervising the commercial trajectory of large projects in close consultation with the URBAN commercial team, taking into account the following aspects:
    •     identification and analysis of technical, financial and contractual risks
    •     validation of the technical content
    •     calculation of price and profitability
    •     drafting of agreements
  • The allocation and planning of staff to projects
  • Ensuring the overall management of the realisation of the projects in consultation with the project teams (contractual, financial, technical and management aspects)
  • Managing the project teams by indicating the objectives and guidelines to be taken into account during the execution of the projects (quality, cost, deadline)
  • Being the direct contact of the clients for the execution of the contracts, in particular: invoicing, payments, drafting of appendices and claims;
  • Updating and maintaining the data so that a state of affairs can be drawn up on a quarterly basis of
    • The total and yet to be realised income
    • The total and yet to be realised expenses
    • The profitability of the projects under your scope
  • The effective use of specialised knowledge
  • Contribute to the annual evaluation of the employees for whom you are responsible for functional management 
  • Draw up the project's safety plan and check its knowledge and application by the members of the project teams
  • Within your projects you will take into account all aspects of infrastructure projects, such as integration into the landscape, mobility, safety, sustainability, etc.

 

We would love to hear from people with 

  • A Master's degree in Engineering (civil or industrial) or equivalent through experience 
  • Proficiency in Dutch and a good professional knowledge of French and English 
  • Extensive technical experience in complex infrastructure projects with tunnels and bridges
  • Experience in leading a multidisciplinary team and can make them work together in an integrated way

Ben je gepassioneerd door zware mechanica en sterk geïnteresseerd in energieproductie?  Kennen Kleppen, pompen, afsluiters & ventielen voor jou geen geheimen of ben je net afgestudeerd als electro-mechanicus en wil je graag aan de slag in de energieproductie?

Voor onze thermische centrale in Drogenbos zijn we op zoek naar een Technieker (M/V/X) Mechanisch Onderhoud.

  • Een aangename werksfeer en een topteam van ervaren techniekers die met plezier hun kennis zullen delen en jou zullen begeleiden in deze nieuwe professionele uitdaging. Samen met jouw collega’s rapporteer je aan Stefan, Patrick en Kris – de senior technicians van de afdeling
  • Een stabiel bedrijf dat werkzekerheid biedt.
  • Een dagfunctie met een mooi uurrooster van 38u dat een goede work-life balance garandeert: 7u-11u30 en 12u-15u15. Op vrijdag stoppen we om 14u45 en kan je vroeg aan jouw weekend beginnen!
  • De ruimte om te groeien in jouw rol. Indien je over voldoende kennis beschikt, autonoom kan werken en de leiding kan nemen, kan je na een 3-tal jaar evolueren naar een brigadiersrol waar je een aantal contractanten aanstuurt. Vanuit die rol kan je je daarna verder ontwikkelen naar een rol waar je op termijn nog meer verantwoordelijkheid hebt en eigen mensen aanstuurt.
  • Héél veel variatie in jouw job gecombineerd met de nodige vrijheid en flexibiliteit.
  • Een bediendencontract (38u) van onbepaalde duur met een uitgebreid salarispakket:
    • Maandelijkse indexatie van je basisloon. Startsalaris als je pas bent afgestudeerd, bedraagt 3545,42 EUR (bruto)
    • Jaarlijkse salarisverhoging volgens barema’s van de energiesector
    • Jaarlijks dubbel vakantiegeld, collectieve bonus en een eindejaarspremie.
    • 33 verlofdagen
    • Medische onkosten en hospitalisatiekosten worden terugbetaald voor jou en jouw gezinsleden

JOUW UITDAGING als Technieker Mechanisch Onderhoud

 

  • Samen met jouw collega’s, sta je in voor de dagdagelijkse uitvoering van de onderhoudswerkzaamheden aan mechanische systemen, werktuigen en componenten.
  • Tot jouw takenpakket behoren: de diagnose, de planning, de werkvoorbereiding, de coördinatie van de uitvoering en de controle en rapportering.
  • Naast jouw dagdagelijkse taken werk je ook mee aan bepaalde projecten, revisies, geplande of ongeplande interventies, ….
  • Je werkt hoofdzakelijk vanuit de centrale in Drogenbos, die makkelijk bereikbaar is via openbaar vervoer. Wil je toch jouw grenzen eens verleggen? Dan heb je af en toe de mogelijkheid om mee te gaan op verplaatsing om zo de andere installaties en collega’s beter te leren kennen.

 

JOUW PROFIEL als Technieker Mechanisch Onderhoud

 

  • Je hebt een diploma Bachelor, Graduaat of A2-niveau (Mechanica/Elektromechanica
  •  Je bent leergierig, denkt vooruit en in het bezit van een gezonde dosis verantwoordelijkheidszin.
  • Je bent een echte teamplayer die ook zelfstandig kan werken binnen een zeer diverse omgeving.
  • Je begrijpt Nederlands. Indien je moeite hebt om Nederlands te spreken, ben je bereid om je spreekvaardigheid op te krikken naar een B2-niveau binnen 1 jaar te leren met ondersteuning van ENGIE.
