What You Can Expect
As our Key Partner Group Sales Director, you will lead ENGIE’s electricity and gas sales efforts through Channel Partners across deregulated markets served by ENGIE Resources. This includes driving sales to Commercial and Industrial customers within the sectors across key ISOs such as ERCOT, PJM, NEPOOL. Your focus will be on achieving sales targets while building strong relationships with Channel Partners and ensuring long-term customer satisfaction. In addition to delivering results, you will guide the growth and strategic direction by staying aligned with evolving market trends, team performance metrics, and Partner needs. This role is based in Houston, TX, and reports to the Regional Vice President, Key Partner Group.
- Monitor channel results and market feedback to identify growth and development opportunities to create revenue opportunities
- Collaborate internally regarding process changes or project proposals that will result in improved sales results and greater Partner satisfaction
- Manage the P&L for ENGIE’s matrix portfolio
- Monitor Broker feedback and supplier matrix rankings with particular focus on the matrix pricing. Propose and help set margin adjustments to matrix pricing
- Collaborate with Supply using both statistical and anecdotal evidence to provide feedback about our pricing to assure that we remain competitive and deliver expected results
- Assign broker relationships to staff relying on your knowledge of individual strengths to optimize broker relationships and market coverage plans
- Ensure staff preparation and review of Partner Account Plans
- Coach and motivate staff to shore up deficiencies and expand on their strengths
What You’ll Bring
- You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a similar discipline
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Retail Energy Sales, Marketing, Supply, or Structuring, including at least three (3) years of proven sales leadership managing direct and/or indirect sales teams within the energy commodities sector
- You have experience working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Sales Force Automation tools to support sales and client engagement efforts
- You demonstrate strong leadership abilities and a high level of accountability, consistently driving performance and results
- You understand organizational dynamics, including cross-functional relationships, and have the ability to lead and motivate teams toward achieving sales initiatives and goals
- You are knowledgeable in negotiation techniques and bring strong, effective negotiating skills to client and partner interactions
- You have excellent presentation skills, enabling you to clearly communicate value propositions to clients and internal stakeholders
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office tools, using them effectively to enhance productivity and performance in your role
Additional Details
- This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy with a minimum of three (3) days working in office if you are based in Houston, TX
- Must be available to travel domestically up to 15% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record; use of company vehicle
- Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
Compensation
Salary Range: $131,000 – $200,790 USD
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
