What You Can Expect

As our Sales Manager with ENGIE North America, your primary objective is to prospect and acquire new Commercial and Industrial (C&I) customers for ENGIE retail business in the New York (NYISO) & New England (NEPOOL) ISO regions to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.

This position will sit in the NYC Metro Area and will report to the Regional Vice President of Sales, ISO New England.

 

 

Identify and Develop Sales Opportunities: You will self-originate leads by leveraging marketing campaigns, market knowledge, data analysis, cold calling, and networking to build a strong sales pipeline within the New York/New England C&I customer territory

Qualify Customers and Assess Needs: You will evaluate creditworthiness using Credit Guidelines, gather consumption and account data, and assess customer needs through effective questioning and listening to deliver tailored price proposals informed by load patterns

Present and Align Product Offerings: You will gain in-depth knowledge of ENGIE's products and articulate how proposed solutions meet or exceed customer requirements, ensuring offers are competitive and evaluated on a like-to-like basis

Negotiate and Finalize Agreements: You will collaborate with brokers, customers, and legal teams to negotiate terms, ensuring alignment with margin guidance and securing agreements that maximize revenues and customer satisfaction

 

 

What You’ll Bring

You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business or a closely related discipline; In lieu of the educational requirement, we will accept a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant industry  experience in retail energy sales

You are persuasive at communication, effective negotiation skills, and interaction with executive-level decision-makers

You are a self-driven individual capable of quickly learning new products, processes, and systems

You have the ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism

You have the ability to work closely with Key Account Teams and functional support groups to close transactions with key customers, ensuring seamless service delivery and the realization of expected revenues and margins

 

Additional Details

This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy, consisting of three (3) days in office and two (2) days working remotely

Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record for travel and car rentals

Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $99,000 – $151,800 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

Job Overview

The Credit Field Operation Specialist is fundamental to the successful implementation of the Customer Finance Strategy with regards to efficient management of customer loan repayments. S/he is integral to the implementation of sustainable collections activities targeted at collections effectiveness and loss reduction. The role is responsible to the Implementation/execution of credit risk mitigation initiatives, encompassing credit culture enhancement, arrears collection and custody of delinquent assets. The role reports into the Collections Manager , S/he will work cross-functionally with commercial, operations, and field teams on the ground.

 

Job Description

Portfolio Management

  • Responsible for Portfolio management of Active & PAR loans  in the regions assigned.
  • Implement collections initiatives and projects according to Collections  strategies in the zone.
  • Actively identify and escalate immediate & long-term regional portfolio risks and coordinate timely solution-based actions to closure.
  • Receive and escalate feedback on Portfolio Performance from all key stakeholders in the regions.
  • Monitor early warning credit KPIs and devise contingency plans to manage losses proactively for the regions. – Par10@2MOB,FMP,PVE,IDR
  • Ensure there is month on month reduction on bad debts across the region through cross functional initiatives.
  • Suggest new indicators to help steer customer repayment behavior.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive high integrity & ethics in the Customer facing staff involved in repayments (FTE or Contract) by implementing risk mitigating policies in place.
  • Enforce control mechanisms in place for satisfactory quality assurance on Policies & SOPs.
  • Conduct trainings regarding credit KPIs for the field teams across the zone.
  • Offer proactive support during Credit campaign to drive repayments growth and loss reduction, this includes training, sharing correct information, feedback and campaign performance reports.
  • Generate innovative ideas to improve team involvement in portfolio ownership & management in the region.
  • Devise & Implement credit management initiatives in cost efficient manner to maximize ROI across assigned zone.
  • Responsible for improving collections and meet monthly targets.

 

Team Management

  • Oversee the work of the Collections field teams
  • Indirectly oversee the activities and productivity of all Mysol Agents supporting their daily activities with data on Portfolio Health.
  • Month on month improvement on number active Mysol champs in Green customer PH.

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum University degree in Business administration or related field
  • 2+ years’ work collections and recoveries, credit support or similar, particularly in sectors like Retail financial services or any related field.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-disciplinary, diverse teams.
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in one or more local languages spoken by our customers is a big plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Job Purpose/Mission

JOUW UITDAGING

  • Commercieel: Nauwkeurige opvolging van de toegewezen klanten om ervoor te zorgen dat de verkoopdoelen worden behaald. Je markt omvat de vervanging van gas- en mazoutketels, renovatieprojecten, airconditioning, warmtepompen, ...
  • Veiligheid: Analyseren van de haalbaarheid van projecten. Beoordelen of het werk op een veilige manier uitgevoerd kan worden, en waar nodig passende maatregelen voorstellen.
  • Projectmanagement: Beheren van A tot Z van HVAC-projecten van onze klanten in jouw regio.
  • Klantcommunicatie: Je gaat naar de bouwplaatsen om naar onze klanten te luisteren en hen te adviseren.
  • Administratief beheer: Opmaken van heldere offertes & zorgen voor een goede opvolging van de klanten en communicatie met het agentschap.
  • Kwaliteitsbewaking: Opvolging van het werk van onze technische teams om ervoor te zorgen dat de projecten adequaat worden afgerond.

JOUW PROFIEL

  • Technische kennis: Je kan een solide kennis van verwarming (B2C en B2B) aantonen; kennis van warmtepomptechnologie is een plus. Je hebt een bewezen ervaring in de sector.
  • Veiligheid: Je hebt een sterk gevoel voor veiligheid en het milieu. Je neemt altijd verantwoordelijkheid voor je eigen gezondheid en veiligheid en die van je collega's!
  • Talen: Je communiceert duidelijk, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk, in het Nederlands en in het Frans. 
  • Communicatieve vaardigheden: Je beschikt over uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden om te communiceren met het team, klanten en partners. 
  • IT vaardigheden: Kennis van Word en Excel is een vereiste. 
  • Je slaagt erin prioriteiten en deadlines strikt te beheren.
