CMMS Operator

Job Purpose:

To administrate all documents related to the project. To operate the maintenance management system. To establish reports and dashboard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document management and office administration
  • Attend calls in proper manners and maintain call logs.
  • Fast and efficient handling of queries with Operator, Client & technical teams.
  • To priorities calls in accordance with procedure.
  • Create service request and work orders on the CMMS/CAFM system accurately.
  • Assign, generate and schedule Work orders for technical teams (Planned Preventive Maintenance).
  • Following up with Engineers/Supervisors on all work requests to ensure they are completed within the KPIs generated by MMS & SLA.
  • Ensuring that the work orders are completed in CMMS/CAFM system.
  • Manage PPM/CM/PRED work orders is issue and update feedback closure.
  • Updating CMMS/CAFM accurately and appropriately with feedback from site management and staff.
  • Communication with site management and staff relating to calls/emails received.
  • Ensure that a high level of service is maintained between clients & Operational staff, (internal and external).
  • Adherence to IMS policies and procedures.
  • Data Entry as assigned by Management.
  • Implement follow up paperwork to ensure completion.
  • To undertake day-to-day administration associated with CMMS facility.
  • Establish regular performance/Weekly dashboard reports for the maintenance manager/Supervisor
  • Establish monthly, quarterly and yearly reports for the Manager/Supervisor/Client.
  • Support activities to improve the functionality.
  • Attendance, Punctuality & Flexibility with shifts. To work within shift Rota to cover 7 day/week 24 hours/day including statutory holiday periods.
  • To provide cover for colleagues as and when need arises i.e. during absences. Carry out other duties as directed by the line manager or MMS Supervisor.
  • To undertake training and be an active Team Member.
  • Report to your team supervisor on a regular basis regarding workload, quality workmanship and key issues.
  • Develop a clear understanding of the ECES quality and safety procedures and processes regarding engineering documentation. Implement ES’s customer service charter to ensure excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally a degree holder in business administration or related discipline.

What You Can Expect

Currently ENGIE operates a 7 GW fleet of utility-scale wind, solar, and battery storage assets across North America, which is expected to grow considerably in the coming years. As the Director of Renewables Operations Control Center (ROCC) you will be expected to structure, manage, coordinate, monitor, and assess the real-time operations of its renewable’s generation fleet.  The director will be essential in forming the ROCC’s operational philosophy and finding opportunities to create a cutting-edge control center. The ROCC Director collaborates closely with key stakeholders, including Engineering, IT, Operations, GEMS, and Asset Management, to develop, implement, and manage the processes and procedures essential for establishing and operating the ROCC. The director will oversee the ROCC team, which currently comprises one Supervisor and six operators working in a 24/7, year-round operational environment, along with the regulatory and compliance teams.

 

Key functions of the Director of ROCC and Compliance include:

  • Ensuring stable and reliable operation of generation facilities
  • Identifying and responding to plant and Bulk Electric System (BES) conditions
  • Communicating and coordinating with other BES entities
  • Dispatching field maintenance crews to investigate abnormal conditions
  • Logging actions, communications, and abnormal conditions for future review

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant trade education where you have learned about power systems, regulatory and compliance, controls
  • Minimum of ten (10) years in Real-Time Operations (RTO) within the electricity or thermal sector such as generation, transmission, or distribution
  • Experience with multi-level negotiation and advocacy skills, knowledge of power system equipment and technology, and familiarity with NERC Standards such as; Operations and Planning (O&P) and Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP)
  • Experience in leading teams, managing cross-functional projects, and handling switching and isolation in a leadership capacity
  • Working knowledge of power system operations concepts including; voltage control, automatic generation control, system operating limits, and practical knowledge of protection and controls such as relay schemes, automatic reclosing and instrument transformers.
  • Working knowledge and experience with Transmission System Operations (TSO) and compliance requirements

Compensation

What You Can Expect

The Project Manager Advisor is the primary manager of all phases of an energy project, with the objective of successful completion on time and within budget, while maintaining quality, safety, and cash management standards, and producing strong customer references. Assigned projects will include a combination of energy efficiency measures, renewable generation installations, and various carbon reduction strategies, to help public sector, commercial and industrial customers around the United States become more sustainable, save money, and improve processes in their plants and services to their end-users. In this role, you will manage one to several projects simultaneously from early development through post-construction, including design, contract negotiations, and project implementation.

 

In addition to assigning responsibilities to the project team and establishing schedules for individual team members, the Project Manager Advisor oversees various technical aspects of the project. This includes developing the project scope, conducting savings analysis, and ensuring the feasibility of proposed measures. Collaborating closely with the Sales team, they assist in customer presentations and interviews during the project's development phase. Furthermore, they liaise with the Legal department to prepare and negotiate customer agreements and change orders, ensuring all contractual obligations are met. The Project Manager Advisor is also responsible for managing all cost components throughout project implementation, maintaining precise budget records, and promptly notifying supervisors of any necessary adjustments. Additionally, they work alongside the construction manager to establish a comprehensive project schedule with regular progress milestones, ensuring timely completion. Alongside these responsibilities, they actively engage with Accounting to facilitate monthly customer invoicing and address any payment delays or issues proactively. Finally, they ensure compliance with local labor regulations and oversee the timely completion of monitoring set-up packages and final job close-out information.

 

This position can sit in Oakland, CA and will report to the Director of Project Management.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in which you have gained a knowledge of construction management, engineering elements, and project management functions

  • A minimum of seven (7) years of related work experience, including training 
  • Proficient in financial analysis skills to predict customer project economics and manage project budgets 
  • Strong negotiation skills that protect ENGIE’s interests on a given project, while building customer and vendor/subcontractor rapport 
  • Ability to prepare and write accurate customer reports and RFX responses, with attention to customer goals and needs

Your mission   

As a CAD Designer in our Ports and Waterways department you will contribute to our mission everyday by playing a crucial role in the day to day designing of our projects and cooperating with our engineers in order to bring our designs up to the Tractebel standard our clients are used to! 

  

 

Your key responsibilities     

  • You are responsible for the execution of Revit/BIM modelling for our marine infrastructure projects 
  • You are responsible for reinforcement modelling in marine and infrastructure projects
  • You assist the project engineer in dimensioning marine infrastructure projects following current Belgian and European standards, legislation, codes of practice and internal guidelines.
  • Prepare designs (preliminary, basis, tender, detailed) for marine structures such as Port & waterways development studies: Port Master planning, locks, Quay walls, Jetties, Bridge foundations, Flooding areas, dikes, Breakwaters and perform analyses to find the optimum installation method of these structures; always with an open mind for innovative and alternative solutions. 
  • You are reporting to the project leader and your team manager
  • You develop your technical skills (BIM, Revit, Autocad…) 
  • You carry out design throughout the execution of our marine infrastructure projects

  

We would love to hear from people with   

  • A specific interest in applying the relevant design codes and guidelines for the structural design and soil-structure interaction of offshore substructures or other marine infrastructure
  • Experience of designing and drafting marine infrastructure works in 3D drafting software (Revit)
  • Experience in designing concrete reinforcement in complex 3D structures.
  • Knowledge of Design Standards (ISO, EC, NEN, EAU, …)
  • Knowledge of standards for Building Consent (omgevingsvergunning) in Flanders (Belgium) is an asset 
  • Expertise of BIM/ CAD software (3D)  (Revit, Autocad,…)
  • Experience in the following software is a plus Civil 3D, BIM360

ENGIE is committed to developing an efficient power generation portfolio in Australia comprising renewable and non-renewable sources. Yuri will become one of the world’s first industrial scale renewable projects.

 

The plan includes a 10 MW electrolyser powered by 18 MW of solar PV and supported by an 8 MW battery energy storage system, generating renewable hydrogen for use in Yara's ammonia facility at Karratha. 

 

We are seeking an experienced Operations & Maintenance Manager (O & M Manager) for Yuri.

 

The O & M Manager will serve as a point of contact for ENGIE in relation to all communications and dealings under the O & M Agreement with Yara Pilbara Fertilisers.

 

The role is based in Perth,  with site visits to Karratha during the construction and  longer site duration stays during the commissioning and operational phases.

 

The position reports to the ENGIE Project Manager and will also work closely with General Manager Assets (South Australia).

 

Responsibilities will include:

Operations Management:

  • Oversee the mobilisation of the Contractor (Yara) and prepare O&M readiness for ENGIE (the Principal).  Development of the WHS and asset management systems will sit with the Contractor, but as the Principal, the incumbent will monitor the O&M service activities, assisting with the development of interface management and protocols to ensure a smooth transition and efficient operations
  • Work as part of the project team, providing guidance to the team, interface with the Yara O&M Contractor and other stakeholders, as required.
  • Responsible for ensuring systems, procedures, training packages are commensurate with ENGIE Management systems
  • Contract and issues management

  • Adhere to ENGIE's HS&E policies, procedures and mandatory instructions, to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to the wellbeing of oneself and others in the workplace.

 

Risk Management, Budgets

 

  • Identifies, assesses, prioritizes and manages risks without supervision and provides technical guidance when required.
  • The incumbent will be proactive in identifying potential risks, develop effective strategies to manage or mitigate those risks, ensure the workforce is trained and compliant, and maintain ongoing monitoring and evaluation throughout the project's lifecycle. Effective risk management not only ensures safety but also contributes to project efficiency, cost control, and legal compliance.
  • Manage the budget expenditures in accordance with the approved yearly budget.
  • You must adhere to all relevant regulatory and compliance obligations related to the activities of this role. 

 

 About you:

  • The successful incumbent will possess significant experience in a similar role in operations, ideally O&M.  Energy industry experience will be advantageous or similar process.
  • You will have sound influencing and effective communication skills and can balance multiple internal and external stakeholders to drive outcomes.  You have gained excellent project management skills, preferably in a matrix management environment and can steer change and work within a changing environment.  
  • You will have sound knowledge of safety regimes and risk management in relevant industrial settings.

Compensation

Salary Range: $90,000 – $120,000 USD/annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.  Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

IT Systems Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure & Operations

What You Can Expect

As the IT Systems Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure and Operations in Houston, Texas for ENGIE’s North America Global Business Support (GBS) you will provide daily run support for the North America region within the ENGIE global division. The position plays a pivotal role in guiding our organization through the complex landscape of cloud computing. Everyday, you will report to the GBS IT Manager as a subject matter expert providing technical insight and hands-on support related to cloud services.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree where you have learned about information systems, engineering, mathematics/statistics, programming, science, project management or related fields with five (5) years of experience in information systems in an professional setting; in lieu of a four year degree, you should bring a total of seven (7) years of experience in which you have gained an understanding of information systems

  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments in a data center or technology support (IT) environment
  • Have experience in operations, monitor, optimization, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows Server environment
  • Working knowledge of general IT technologies such as (SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Online, OKTA, DevOps, Proofpoint, Zscaler, TCP/IP, SMTP, Authentication concepts, Agile)

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy; three days (3) in office
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
