Job Purpose/Mission 

As Financial Planning & Analysis Officer, you will join the Global FP&A team that manages business planning processes and provides financial data and analysis to drive strategic decisions across our 9 countries of operation. In this role, you will draw powerful insights for action from our unique, extensive, and rich dataset to drive the development of financial models and strategy execution. Your financial acumen and data insight will make a meaningful impact by enabling ENGIE Energy Access to continuously innovate on how we expand our business and serve our customers.

   

Responsibilities

 

  • Own yearly budgeting, reforecasting and financial modeling for 3 PAYGO and minigrid markets.
  • Develop and manage datasets, reports and analysis to ensure that country and global teams have access to the data and insights that they need to make key business decisions.
  • Lead the development of new EEA processes, analyses and tools to support operations at the country and global level.
  • Develop EEA’s financial model (Vena) as well as models for standalone projects to ensure accurate and data-driven forecasting.
  • Analyze financial and business data to drive improvements on sales, pricing, risk management and cost efficiency.
  • Leverage strong country-team relationships and communication skills to support countries in meeting their financial targets.
  • Act as the Head of Finance for EEA’s minigrid business in Uganda.

 

Knowledge and skills 

 

Experience:

  • 4+ years of professional work experience
  • 4+ years of work experience or in business analysis, data analysis, financial analysis, or similar, particularly in sectors like retail financial services, microfinance or off-grid solar.
  • Strong critical thinking and an analytical mindset; able to draw actionable insights from numbers and data and present them in a clear and compelling way.
  • Skilled in project management, with an exceptional ability to collaborate, influence, and execute against strategy.
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to translate complex financial data into actionable messaging to non-finance audiences.
  • Good skills in financial modeling and analysis

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

 

Language(s):

           Job Purpose/Mission 

As part of the ENGIE Mozambique management team, the Head of Mini Grids and SBS Mozambique will be responsible for the overall strategic planning, financial management, and operational activities related to the Mini Grid activity in Mozambique. He or she will supervise the construction of new Mini Grid sites, technical operations, sales, credit, and stakeholder relations related to the Mini Grid activities. The head of Mini Grids has P&L responsibility for the Mini Grids and SBS activities in Mozambique. He / She will also contribute to the overall strategy and leadership of the Mini Grids operations.

The Head of Mini Grids and SBS will primarily be responsible for managing construction, operation, and maintenance of Mini Grids, ensuring health and safety is protected on all sites, and implementing initiatives to stimulate power demand and grow revenues at the Mini Grid sites.

 

           Responsibilities

  • Strategy, planning, and execution: Develop and execute a strategy to make Mini Grids and SBS in Mozambique a success.

    • Set, curate, and communicate the vision for Mini Grids and SBS in Mozambique.

    • Lead and manage design and electrical engineering for solar projects throughout the lead creation and execution stages

    • Configure PV systems based on site conditions and customers’ needs and expectations.

    • Manage electrical work such as installation and maintenance of solar energy systems.

    • Schedule, coordinate, and inspect electrical installations and maintenance activities.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure the optimal performance of solar energy systems.

    • Train and support installation and maintenance technicians, promoting best practices, quality assurance checks, and continuous improvement.

    • Lead, iterate, support, and grow all Mini Grids and SBS activities in Mozambique.

    • Goal, target, and incentive setting: Ensure the team has clear goals, targets, and incentives to support growth in key areas.

 

  • Construction, operations, and maintenance of mini grid sites

    • Directly managing the construction of new mini grids across the country with adherence to health and safety, time, and budget.

    • Responsible for ensuring the commissioned sites are well managed, efficient, and well-maintained.

    • Oversee all operations on the mini grid sites.

    • Licensing and Regulation: Ensure that all regulatory approvals and applicable licenses are in place for EEA to conduct its business activities.

 

  • HSE

    • Responsible and accountable for Health, Safety, and Environment across all the Mini Grids sites.

    • Ensure all installation and maintenance activities comply with HSE regulations and company policies.

    • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards

    • Promote a culture of safety within the team, ensuring all team members are aware of and adhere to HSE protocols.

    • Develop and implement HSE training programs for the team.

    • Investigate and report any HSE incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

 

  • Team supervision

    • Supervise and build a mission-aligned, high-performing, and passionate mini grid team across the country.

    • Ensuring that EEA has the talent and skills we need to achieve our ambitious targets.

    • Recruitment and retention of top talent, training and mentorship, building mini grid knowledge and capacity within the team, promoting EEA values, and proactively addressing underperformance.

  • Commercial and financial management

    • Oversee Mini Grids and SBS Mozambique’s financial performance at the highest level by providing support and strategic guidance to the finance team and departments to properly budget, forecast, and review expenses and revenues.

    • Create and develop the commercial activities in line with the investment committee-approved business plan.

    • Responsible for meeting revenue targets and for the mini-grid and SBS P&L.

 

  • Global best practices:

    • Collaborate with other Mini Grids and SBS teams & EEA Global team to leverage best practices, implement best practices from abroad, and brainstorm solutions to common challenges.

    • Responsible for ensuring compliance by all Mini Grid teams with EEA’s Health and Safety requirements.

 

Knowledge and skills 

Experience:

  • Must have strong project management experience, particularly experience managing construction projects and Health and Safety regulations.

  • At least 5 years of leadership experience; at least 2 of which are in a multi-functional organization with large teams.

  • Ability to read, interpret, and take relevant and nimble action on P&L and financial statements.

  • Experience in cultivating strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, whether in a boardroom or a customer’s off-grid home.

  • Excellent judgement and ability to work autonomously with a team in pursuit of innovative and aggressive stretch goals. 

  • Technical knowledge of solar energy systems and installation processes.

  • Registered & Certified with the DNE (Direcção Nacional de Energia) (mandatory).

  • Basic understanding of Health & Safety Requirements while dealing with High Voltage installations

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or a related field.

  • An MBA or master’s degree will be an added advantage.

Job Purpose/Mission   

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a key role in building, scaling, and maintaining our infrastructure. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation, deployment, and monitoring of our applications and services. You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to improve CI/CD pipelines, automate workflows, and maintain reliable systems.

1. Infrastructure Management 
   - Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on AWS, Hetzner and, k8s.   
   - Maintain and optimize Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.

2. CI/CD Pipeline Development

3. Monitoring and Incident Management

Job Purpose/Mission   

The Data Analyst Role provides an amazing opportunity for the right candidate to have a direct impact on how we are revolutionizing credit and financial inclusion for the base of the pyramid. He/she will work closely with the Head of Customer Finance & IT, the wider customer finance team and the commercial team, using quantitative and qualitative data to deepen our understanding of customer repayment behavior and performance across various dimensions of the portfolio and credit cycle and continuously improve how we efficiently and effectively manage Credit Risk and the Customer Credit Cycle. He/she will directly lead day-to-day research and analytics for Customer Finance-related projects. 

The role has the potential to grow in responsibility over time and develop into one where you would lead the overall data analysis and reporting at country level. Taking information from all the various sources we have and building reports and insights of portfolio performance at country level. 

 

Responsibilities:

  

Helping leadership and the Field Team gain better access to the data/information they need to effectively manage the credit cycle 

  • Working with wider team to understand data/information needs. 

  • Using tools like SQL and Tableau to build queries and dashboards to easily communicate key KPIs for both higher-level and operational reporting. 

  • Organizing the dashboards/ data for the Field team in a more coherent way to make it easier to search and find data. 

  • Helping build team capacity with SQL/Tableau. 

  • Ad hoc analysis / dashboards as needed to assist decision making and operational improvement. 

  • Regular Deep dive analyses into our extensive data collections to improve different parts of the credit management cycle. 

  • Portfolio performance monitoring & reporting. 

Leading day-to-day research and analytics for Customer Finance related projects. 

  • Managing the pipeline of CF data related research projects including designing of projects upon request.

  • Working with wider team to understand areas for potential new projects.

Knowledge and skills  

  

Experience: 

  • 3-4yrs experience in a data analyst role and/or a company working with the same kind of customers and field team as ours, preferably in energy access, asset financing, microfinance etc. 

  • Solid experience working in an organization working with the same kind of customers as ours is a huge plus. 

  • Experience working in a directly related field such as energy access, last-mile product financing, microfinance or digital financial services is a big plus. 

  • Demonstrated experience building out analysis/dashboards that have had a direct impact on improving operational performance. 

  • Experience working on projects that require cross-functional buy-in and collaboration. 

  • Good data analysis skills and a strong desire to continuously learn more in this area to help others make data-driven decisions/recommendations  

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English) to understand pain points, generate buy in and effectively communicate results 

  • Ability to build dashboards that communicate data in a way that implementing mangers can easily understand and make decisions with

Le/la Commercial(e) de cluster dirigera les activités suivantes de cluster :

  • Enregistrement et support client,
  • Engagement communautaire au niveau du cluster avec des activités transversales de Business Development, ventes et marketing

 

Responsabilités principales

Le/la Commercial(e) de cluster sera responsable :

  1. Du développement et suivi des activités commerciales au sein du cluster
  • Être responsable des performances commerciales du cluster
  • Organiser et superviser l’activité commerciale du cluster
  • Développer et entretenir des relations solides avec les clients et les principales parties prenantes (dirigeants locaux tels conseillers communaux et villageois, autres autorités…)
  • Planifier et coanimer les activités d’engagement communautaire
  • Être responsable de la gestion des contrats des clients
  • Superviser les activités commerciales des « Local Operator (LO) » du cluster
  • Réaliser les enquêtes de terrain

 

  1. De la vente et assistance à la clientèle
  • Être responsable de l’acquisition et de la fidélisation des clients
  • Être responsable du portefeuille de prêts à la clientèle et réaliser l’évaluation des capacités de re-paiement du client avant la mise en œuvre du prêt
  • Réaliser les ventes d’appareils domestiques efficaces en énergie et des machines pour les activités génératrices de revenus afin d’atteindre les KPI
  • Planifier et animer des séances « Démo »
  • Fournir un soutien à la communauté du village et aux clients dans la compréhension et l’utilisation de nos produits et services
  •  Assurer un niveau élevé de satisfaction client
  • Gestion des services après-vente par le biais du centre d’appels et d’un suivi des performances commerciales.

 

  1. De la gestion de projet et reporting 
  • Initier et suivre des projets commerciaux
  • Suivre et faire le reporting à temps de tous les KPI du cluster
  • Fournir des rapports sur l’état d’avancement des projets commerciaux et sur les activités commerciales dans les villages
  • Elaborer un budget et mettre en œuvre des actions marketing
  • Analyser les données commerciales du cluster pour améliorer nos performances

 

Connaissances et Compétences

  • Avoir une expérience de terrain avec des modèles d’électrification rurale hors réseau serait un atout considérable
  • Être passionné (e) par la vente et orienté (e) performance
  • Avoir une bonne connaissance de l’outil informatique
  • Avoir un permis de conduire B valide
  • Être très motivé (e) et avoir l’esprit d’équipe
  • Être orienté (e) client et performance
  • Être capable de prendre des initiatives et de travailler de façon autonome
  • Être disposé (e) à se déplacer régulièrement dans des villages en zone rurale
  • Avoir de bonnes compétences en reporting
  • Être passionné (e) par l’accès à l’énergie en milieu rural et l’amélioration de la qualité de vie de nos clients

 

Qualifications:

  • Être titulaire d’une Licence (Bac +3) en Business Management, en Gestion de Projet ou dans un autre domaine connexe
  • Avoir un minimum de 3 ans d’expérience professionnelle dans la vente, le développement des affaires ou un domaine connexe

 

 

Langues : 

  • Français
  • Compétence de travail en Anglais souhaitée
  • Maîtrise de plusieurs langues locales des régions septentrionales du Bénin (Bariba, Peulh, Lokpa, Yom, Ditamari, etc.) fortement souhaitée

Job         Purpose/Mission 

 

 As an Archiving Officer Intern, you will be responsible for overseeing the organization, preservation, and retrieval of records and documents within our archives. You will play a crucial role in   maintaining the integrity of company records and ensuring that they are accessible to those who require them.

 

              Responsibilities: -

  • Record Management: Manage the organization's records and documents according to established archival standards and procedures.
  • Documentation Preservation: Ensure the preservation and conservation of historical records, including paper documents, photographs, digital files, and other media.
  • Cataloguing and Indexing: Create detailed catalogues and indexes of archival materials to facilitate easy retrieval and access for researchers and staff.
  • Digitization Projects: Oversee digitization projects to convert physical records into digital formats, ensuring long-term accessibility and preservation.
  • Access Control: Implement access controls and security measures to protect sensitive or confidential information within the archives.
  • Research Support: Provide support to researchers, historians, and other stakeholders by assisting with inquiries and locating relevant archival materials.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and guidelines related to records management and archival practices.

 

Knowledge and skills 

 

Experience:

  • Experience working in archives, libraries, or records management.
  • Strong knowledge of archival principles, practices, and standards.
  • Basic knowledge on Excel spread sheets and data entry skills.
  • Experience assisting customers/clients with escalated issues.
  • Proven critical thinking skills that demonstrate fact finding/analysis and sound decision making.
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
  • Detail oriented and well-organized.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • High level of self-motivation
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks while working under tight deadlines with close attention to detail, accuracy, and quality always.
