As the Continuous Process Improvement Analyst, II for Business Operations. This role will focus on Lean manufacturing principles and training support activities. The Analyst II will be instrumental in driving operational efficiency, enhancing productivity, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement through effective training and process optimization.

 

Ever day in this role you will:

  • Initiatives: Define and work on templates, lead small projects, Kaizens, and workshops. Support the implementation of Lean tools and philosophy to drive process improvement (5S, Standard Work, Problem Solving, Daily Management, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Transactional Process Improvement, and Maintenance)
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional team leaders, key contributors, and the leadership team to build standards, implement visual management, and monitor KPIs
  • Detailed Analyses: Utilize statistical tools and Lean metrics to analyze process performance data. Identify trends, root causes of inefficiencies, and areas for improvement
  • Dashboards and Reports: Develop visual dashboards and reports to communicate findings and track progress on key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders
  • Training Materials: Create engaging onboarding and training materials on Lean principles, tools, and techniques. Tailor content to different audience levels to ensure effective learning

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field of study

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar role with experience in implementing Lean/Operational excellence programs
  • Knowledge of World Class Manufacturing (WCM), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Six Sigma, and/or change management
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments in a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy
  • End to End view with the ability to help support change, deliver results, and manage networks effectively
  • Team collaborator with solid project management skills

 

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy

Compensation

Salary Range: $67,500 – $103,385 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

We are looking for a Performance Analyst to join our UK Renewables team. The purpose of the role is to lead the assessment and monitoring of the UK Renewable Generation assets (wind, solar, and battery storage) to achieve key business objectives and optimise financial performance.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Review and report on the day-to-day operations of renewable assets.
  • Monitor sites for performance issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Optimise sites to improve performance and availability.
  • Manage contracts for all renewable assets in terms of availability and damages.

2. BACKGROUND
Oya will be one of the largest hybrid energy projects in Africa considering the technology mix and size. The 128MW Oya Operations Hybrid facility will offer dispatchable renewable energy for the RMIPPPP programme. The Project will utilize co-located wind turbines, solar PV arrays, Lithium-Ion batteries and a hybrid controller that orchestrates all three technologies to provide dispatchable power to the grid as and when needed. 3. JOB PURPOSE
-    To oversee and monitor the Construction, Engineering, Procurement and Commissioning of wind / solar and Bess projects
-    Oversee quality systems, procedures, and documentation for the Project. Review and validate quality assurance and control plans of the EPC Contractor and Subcontractors.

 

4. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-    Build partnerships with key stakeholders on projects.
-    Conduct quality checks to ensure installation works follow project plans and commercial requirements.
-    Conduct site audits to prepare configurations and structures for system designs or integration with other energy solutions.
-    Conduct worksites safety checks.
-    Contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure safety and quality assurance on sites.

As the on-site Wind Technician II, at the Big Sampson Wind Site in Iraan, TX, you will operate and maintain the site by optimizing wind generation availability and performance through established procedures with the highest regard for health, safety and environment compliance. Adaptability is crucial as tasks may vary depending on operational needs and requirements. Your primary responsibilities involve troubleshooting, repairing, reconnecting, and inspecting electrical equipment, including substations and overall site performance.  At this site you will be working with high voltage energized equipment and must follow all safety procedures including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) grounding and other safety precautions. Collaborating with service providers and contractors, you will oversee daily work activities, produce various reports, operate site equipment, and coordinate with local utilities and Independent System Operators (ISOs) for switching and curtailments.

 

Ensuring compliance with ENGIE and regulatory agency standards, you'll conduct inspections and recurring checks on site equipment. You'll actively participate in behavior-based safety programs, enforce safety procedures, and conduct orientations and meetings to promote a safe working environment. Alongside routine inspections and serving as the main contact for landowners, you'll manage spare parts inventory, coordinate contractor work, and maintain cleanliness on-site. Gaining and maintaining GWO training is required, as well as participating in turbine climbing activities. You'll provide recommendations for operational and maintenance improvements, offer equipment operation training, and utilize Root Cause Failure Analysis techniques to address failures. You will work on computerized work order systems for purchase requisitions and receiving statuses.  From time to time you will be required to support other wind assets during planned outages and emergencies, potentially requiring overnight stays. Furthermore, you'll be part of an on-call rotation and must reside within 50 miles of the site to respond promptly to outages and emergencies.


What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum two (2) years diploma in a technical program or equivalent experience
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience and knowledge of Wind generation, Power Plant, or Substation Maintenance where you have working knowledge of industrial electrical or substation equipment including breaker, disconnects, transformers, contactors
  • Must have or be willing to obtain certification as substation technician within twelve (12) months of hire date


Additional Details

  • This is a field position requiring regular travel to client site(s) 
  • This role requires daily attendance at a worksite 
  • Must be available to travel domestically to other solar plants for emergencies and assist with outages
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record to drive company vehicle on and around the plant 
  • Must be willing and able to comply with ENGIE’s policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testing 
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies 
  • The position consists of 50% work indoors and 50% work outdoors depending on site needs; outdoor work may expose the employee to weather conditions 
  • Could involve some lifting / up to 50lbs with assistance

 

Compensation
Salary Range:  $30.60 - $40.78 USD hourly 

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate. 
 

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan and emergency or on-call pay.
