Key activities and competencies
The Quality Engineer is responsible for the development, implementation, and validation of the Project Quality Management System to ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with ENGIE’s corporate policies, contractual requirements, and international quality standards. This role ensures effective quality control from engineering through to commissioning and Responsibilities: 
•    Develop the Project QA Manual, define project-specific quality objectives, and implement project QA/QC procedures.
•    Maintain and continuously improve the Project QA/QC system, including internal and external audits.
•    Review and approve the EPC Contractor’s and subcontractors’ Quality Control Plans (QCPs) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
•    Establish the project audit program and lead audits across engineering, procurement, and construction phases.
•    Implement a comprehensive inspection and testing strategy, covering the full lifecycle of PV plant construction.
•    Supervise inspection activities across engineering offices, vendor premises, and site installations.
•    Ensure proper implementation of document control in coordination with the Document Control Manager.
•    Encourage the use of new digital tools and best practices for quality management in renewable energy projects.
•    Lead root cause analysis and non-conformance resolution with relevant stakeholders.
•    Ensure all quality deliverables are aligned with client expectations and applicable codes and standards.
•    Monitor quality KPIs and report findings to senior management.
•    Provide quality-related inputs to project reports, progress reviews, and risk assessments.
•    Support the commissioning and handover team in ensuring quality records and documentation are complete and accurate.
•    Coordinate necessary FATs and SATs with respective vendors and service providers. 
•    Ensure that all necessary quality checks, commissioning and testing requirements as per Project Agreements are fully complied with from QA/QC perspective.
•    Verify that all incoming materials meet technical specifications through inspection and documentation control (e.g., Mill Certificates, FATs).
•    Manage and track the status of site punch lists and quality walk-downs throughout the construction and commissioning phases.
•    Support training and awareness sessions for site supervisors and subcontractors on project quality standards and inspection protocols.

Required Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Quality Management
Experience: Minimum 8 years’ experience (including GCC experience) in project quality management, including:

•    Strong background in QA/QC implementation across large-scale EPC projects.
•    Experience in solar PV projects, including tracker, module, inverter, and cable installations.
•    Familiarity with ISO 9001 and applicable international quality standards for renewable energy.
•    Experience conducting and managing quality audits across design, manufacturing, and site execution phases.
•    Hands-on experience with non-conformance management and root cause analysis.
•    Knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures specific to solar PV plants.
•    Worked on projects with high volumes of civil and electrical interfaces.
•    Familiarity with the quality requirements of solar balance of system (BOS) components.
•    Experience in quality oversight for substation integration and SCADA systems.
•    Ability to implement quality tools .
•    Past involvement in PAC, FAC, and final project quality dossier preparation.
•    Exposure to stakeholder management for quality deliverables, including client and lenders’ engineers.
•      Direct experience with quality inspection of single-axis tracker systems and PV module alignment.
•     Familiarity with QA/QC procedures for DC cable routing, combiner boxes, and string testing in large-scale solar fields.
•      Oversight of material inspection and testing for pile foundations, including concrete works for inverter stations.
•    Participated in the development and delivery of QA documentation packages for governmental approvals or grid authority inspections (e.g., Transco, DEWA).

Key activities and competencies
For the construction of PV plant in the region , ENGIE    is seeking a Planning Engineer to manage and coordinate all aspects of project scheduling, progress measurement, and planning control. The Planning Engineer will play a key role in monitoring progress, identifying delays or risks, and supporting decision-making to ensure the project is delivered on time and within scope. Responsibilities: 
•    Establish and manage the project planning control system and progress measurement methodology.
•    In conjunction with the information provided by the EPC Contractor, prepare, analyse, and evaluate project schedules and planning data to support construction execution and reporting.
•    Monitor deviations from the baseline schedule and perform analysis of slippage in coordination with package managers.
