As a Digital Product Manager, you’ll help guide one or more of our AI-enabled digital products. You’ll ensure the product creates real value, solves the right problems, and gets used in the field.

You’ll collaborate with product managers, developers, data scientists, energy experts, and end users—translating between needs, decisions, and delivery. It’s a role for someone who brings clarity, coordination, and energy to the table.

Job Summary 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT-OT Engineer to join our ENGIE India team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical IT-OT background and be prepared for extensive site travels to support onsite issues during the implementation, commissioning, and post-commissioning operations of solar and wind power plants, while base location will be Pune, India.

Main Objectives 

The IT-OT Engineer for Renewable Sites will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and security of renewable energy plant operations. This position involves designing, implementing, and maintaining integrated systems that support the seamless operation of renewable energy sites, including wind, solar power plants. The engineer will ensure robust data communication, real-time monitoring, and control systems, while adhering to industry standards and best practices. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, IT-OT integration, and strong networking skills. Additionally, strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

System Monitoring and Maintenance:

  • Oversee and optimize the technical IT-OT operations of renewable energy production infrastructures (solar, wind, etc.), ensuring efficient operations.
  • Monitor and manage the troubleshooting of any IT-OT issues happening on the solar and wind farms with central support and/or subcontractors.

SCADA Systems Management:

  • Ensure the proper follow-up on the maintenance plan for SCADA systems, including troubleshooting and managing issues related to cabling, optic fibre.
  • Handle level 1 troubleshooting of the SCADA system and manage the troubleshooting of any OT issues at solar and wind sites.

Cybersecurity Management:

  • Work with management and CISO to implement cybersecurity and support IT/OT risk management
  • Coordinate with the O&M department to ensure IT/OT systems properly support emergency response procedures.
  • Coordinate with O&M for the procurement and inventory of spare parts for IT and SCADA systems.

IT System Management:

  • Provide level 1 proximity support on all IT-related issues, including user support for workstations, applications, networking and IT consumables.
  • Manage the network configuration (switching, routing) and ensure the proper follow-up on the maintenance plan for industrial telecom systems.
  • Responsible for the obsolescence follow-up process (including management and patching).
  • Ensure the compliance of IT/OT-related contractors working on-site with ENGIE guidelines.
  • Report any IT-OT related abnormalities, incidents, or process deviations spotted while monitoring the systems.
  • Ensure that all IT/OT equipment (servers, control systems, SCADA, communication devices, etc.) complies with ENGIE and regulatory standards.
  • Regularly interact with the O&M department to align IT/OT systems with broader ENGIE protocols and stay updated on the latest regulations.
  • Provide hands-on management of Network devices and systems
  • Manage support activities of external providers for the delivery of network services and project tasks
  • Manage network systems to ensure compliance is maintained with cybersecurity policies
  • Provide input into the risk management programme ensuring that Information Technology systems Disaster Recovery plans - include network services and other network elements.
  • In the event of a cybersecurity incident perform tasks as directed by CISO
  • Coordinate with technology and business groups to assess, implement, and monitor IT-related security risks/hazards
  • Report security performance against established security metrics

 

Technical Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Industrial Control Systems (ICS) including PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI, and IPC, PPC.
  • Familiarity with automation hardware and software, Windows Server and client architecture, and IT hardware for power plants.
  • Understanding of OT networking, OT network components, communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC/UA, TCP/IP, Profinet, and OT server and storage components.
  • Technical hands-on experience in networking , routing , switching.
  • Experience in implementing cybersecurity tools for OT environments.
  • Knowledge of industry standards like ISA/IEC 62443.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience managing a complex IT and/or OT system.
  • 5-8 years of experience in IT/OT systems, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong knowledge of SCADA architecture is mandatory.
  • Experience with SCADA systems, cybersecurity, and IT support.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to various sites for onsite support.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Flexible mindset, able to work outside the comfort zone.
  • Certifications CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Certified Automation Professional

( Desirable not mandatory)

Preferably from Gujarat or Rajasthan native

Job Purpose/Mission   

This position will be part of the Global Data team. This is an incredible opportunity to join a high-performing team that is passionate about pioneering expanded financial services to off-grid customers at the base of the pyramid. Key responsibilities will include building and maintaining data models to support sales and customer finance operations.  You would also be involved in data mining activities as well as engage with internal business stakeholders in realtime to our field team mobile application to allow data-informed decisions to be made in the field, as well as working with members of the data team to ensure high code quality and database design.  Your work will make a meaningful impact by enabling Engie to continuously innovate on how we support our customers in their repayment journey. Key Competencies 

Responsibilities   

Data Mining (20%): 

  • Design and implement robust data mining models to support analytics and reporting requirements. 

  • Carry out pre – processing, cleansing, and validating the integrioty of data to be used for analysis 

  • Enhance data collection procedures to include all relevant information for developing analytic systems. 

Statistical modelling (70%) 

  • Use statistical and machine learning techniques to develop solutions to support business operations from sales to credit collection.

Experience:  

  • 5+ years of industry experience working on data scientist with a focus on data modelling, stakeholder management and data mining.,

  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data using Python, R, Scala, Java, SQL in addition to one or more of Spark/Hadoop/Hive/HDFS , Apache Airflow, RabbitMQ/Kafka, Spark, Kubernates, and dbt. 

  • Working knowledge of databases, data systems, and analytics solutions, including proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, Java, Spark and Amazon Redshift  for reporting and dashboard building.

What You Can Expect

As a Help Desk Advisor – Trade Floor, you will report to IT Helpdesk Supervisor and you will provide technical assistance on laptops, desktops and networking in a fast-paced trading environment.

 

Your responsibilities include but aren’t limited to: imaging laptops, migrating users, hardware deployments, troubleshooting hardware/ software and working in a cross domain environment. Develop team as organizational growth warrants.

 

Respond to internal customers calling to report problems and resolve technical problems

Utilize a customer service attitude and approach to providing assistance and solutions

Coordinate with users to determine computing needs and order hardware as appropriate

Prioritize requests based on severity and commercial significance

Conduct root cause analysis and apply preventive measures to ensure effective problem resolution 

Assume ownership for critical problems with proactive communication and follow through to completion 

Maintain accurate contact and alert lists for team and customer communications 

Assist with internal personnel moves and other physical changes to facilities

Compensation

Salary Range: $86,100 – $132,020 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

What You Can Expect

As the Vice President of IT for ENGIE Energy Marketing North America (EEMNA), you will lead the strategy, design, and execution of the IT landscape that powers our trading and energy management operations. This executive role also functions as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for EEMNA, responsible for setting the vision and driving technology initiatives that enable business growth and operational excellence.

 

We are seeking a strategic, hands-on leader with deep experience in Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) systems, who can bring both technical and commercial expertise to a dynamic energy trading environment. You will oversee a team of approximately 50 professionals focused on delivering and supporting critical technology solutions across electricity, natural gas, LNG, CO, and environmental products. As VP of IT/CIO, you will champion digital transformation, enhance internal platforms, and ensure IT capabilities are aligned with strategic goals and scalable for future success.

 

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer EEMNA, your roles and responsibilities include:

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing IT organization
  • Setting the vision, objectives, and strategic direction for the IT department
  • Evaluating and implementing technology solutions that enhance internal operations and unlock strategic business value
  • Designing and customizing IT systems and platforms to improve functionality and user experience
  • Overseeing the implementation of new systems and providing hands-on guidance to IT professionals and stakeholders
  • Driving digital transformation across trading and energy management functions
  • Leading IT-related projects, budgets, and change initiatives
  • Monitoring technology trends to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage
  • Analyzing IT costs, value creation, and risk exposure to provide actionable insights to leadership

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another STEM field
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of information technology, systems, or application development experience
  • Experience with Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) systems
  • Proven success designing and implementing enterprise IT systems, ideally in a trading or energy management environment
  • Experience managing IT budgets, forecasting, and resource planning
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and scale global IT teams
  • Strong command of data analysis, business operations, and digital innovation
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience in a global organization, preferably within the energy sector
  • Experience in an IT leadership role, such as CIO, with demonstrated leadership in technology strategy and implementation

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
  • Must be available to travel domestically / internationally up to 10% of the time with the need for some overnight trips
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $205,485 – $342,510 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

 

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors. 

 

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.

Senior Data Integration Engineer in Spokane, Washington

 

Duties:   Support ENGIE Insight’s computer systems and ETL (“Extract, Transform, Load”) data integration processes.  Translate business requirements into data models that drive data warehouse or data mart design and configuration.  Work with cross-functional teams to gather, document, and approve business requirements for data analysis and reporting projects. Translate business requirements into system design specification to manage Unstructured, Transactional, Hierarchical, Master and meta data.  Design, develop and implement data integration (ETL) processes to transform unstructured and disparate source data into the target data stores, data warehouses or data mart.  Oversee implementation and maintenance of ETL processes that support feature development and testing.  Monitor data warehouse ETL processes and implementation of tuning as needed to address scalability, recoverability and performance impediment.  Provide support to ensure availability of Business Intelligence environments for internal and external users.  Provide technical leadership across ENGIE Insight’s ETL functional team.  Plan and conduct development work on data integration projects necessitating the origination and application of new and unique approaches.  Remote work is permitted from a residence within normal commuting distance of ENGIE’s Spokane worksite at manager discretion. Off-site travel to local events may be required up to 10 days per year.  

 

Minimum Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree or the foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field and 5 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s experience as a Data Engineer, Senior Data Integration Engineer, Senior Technical Specialist, Lead Engineer, Technical Lead, Project Engineer, Programmer Analyst or a closely related information technology position.  Experience to include:

 

  • 5 years developing/building data pipelines using an ETL technology.
  • 5 years developing databases in SQL or in a comparable environment.
  • 5 years using Informatica or another ETL tool.
  • 5 years performing data warehouse implementations.
  • 5 years working with XML/JSON data formats.
  • 5 years working with large data volumes.
  • 2 years using Snowflake or another data warehouse tool.
  • 2 years mentoring team members.

 

All education, experience, and training may be gained concurrently.  Applicants must be U.S. workers (includes U.S. citizens, permanent residents, foreign nationals granted temporary residence under one of the 1986 legalization programs, refugees, and asylees). Salary range: $122,200- $166,000 per year for 40+ hours of work.
