YOUR CHALLENGE as a Field Technician Turbines

As a Field Technician Turbines, you will actively participate in various maintenance projects, overhauls and interventions. An extra challenging aspect of the job is that no two days are the same.

• You are responsible for organizing, coordinating and performing mechanical maintenance work on industrial gas and steam turbines.
• At the start of a new construction site, you will be involved in the preparation and, together with the expert engineers from our team, determine the approach, planning and scope of the work to be performed.
• Depending on the project, you will either take on the role of site supervisor or the role of field technician (or both).
• In the role as site supervisor, you will coordinate, execute and be responsible for determining resources, ordering materials and following up on them correctly and on time.
• During execution, you will work with a team of technicians consisting of both colleagues and subcontractors.
• You will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the work required and constantly ensure the safety of yourself and your colleagues.
• For unplanned sites or incidents, you will participate in interventions, analyze problems and work hands-on on the turbines with the goal of resolving the problem.

YOUR PROFILE as a Field Technician Turbines

• You are mechanically skilled (A2/bachelor/graduate electromechanics) and have preferably a basic knowledge of electricity.
• Experience in maintenance of turbines, aircraft engines, derivative gas turbines or large rotating equipment is required.
• You are fluent in English and willing to obtain basic level (A2) in French or Dutch.
• You are flexible in terms of working hours and workplace. You see varying hourly schedules (day, shifts, weekends) as 'part of the job'. You are willing to perform work at our various sites in Belgium and abroad (mainly France and the Netherlands, max. 30%).

JOUW PROFIEL als Field technieker generatoren

• Je bent mechanisch en/of elektrisch geschoold (A2/bachelor/graduaat elektromechanica, elektronica, elektrotechnieken), ervaring in het onderhoud van generatoren is een pluspunt.
• Je spreekt vloeiend Engels én bent bereid om basisniveau (A2) te behalen voor Frans of Nederlands.
• Je bent flexibel wat betreft werkuren en werkplaats. Wisselende uurroosters (dag, ploegen, weekends) zie jij als ‘part of the job’. Je bent bereid om werkzaamheden op onze verschillende sites in België en in het buitenland uit te voeren (voornamelijk Frankrijk en Nederland, max. 30%).

JOUW UITDAGING als Field technieker generatoren

Als Field technieker generatoren werk je actief mee aan diverse onderhoudsprojecten, revisies en interventies. Extra uitdagend aan de job is dat geen enkele dag dezelfde is.

• Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het organiseren, coördineren én het uitvoeren van mechanische onderhoudswerkzaamheden aan industriële generatoren en hulpsystemen.
• Bij de start van een nieuwe werf ben je betrokken bij de voorbereiding en bepaal je samen met de expert-ingenieurs van ons team de aanpak, planning en scope van de uit te voeren werkzaamheden.
• Afhankelijk van het project neem je ofwel de rol als werfleider op of de rol als field technieker (of beide).
• In de rol als werfleider verzorg je de coördinatie en uitvoering en sta je in voor het bepalen van resources, bestellen van materiaal en de correcte en tijdige opvolging hiervan.
• Tijden de uitvoering werk je samen met een team van techniekers, bestaande uit zowel collega’s als onderaannemers.
• Je staat in voor de controle en rapportering van de vereiste werkzaamheden en draagt voortdurend zorg voor de veiligheid van jezelf én van jouw collega’s.
• Bij ongeplande werven of incidenten neem je deel aan interventies, analyseer je problemen en sleutel je aan de generatoren met als doel om het probleem op te lossen.

• Vous avez une formation en mécanique et/ou électricité (A2/bachelor/graduat en électromécanique, électronique, électrotechnique) ; une expérience dans la maintenance de générateurs est un plus.
• Vous parlez couramment l'anglais et êtes prêt à obtenir le niveau de base (A2) en français ou en néerlandais.
• Vous êtes flexible en termes d'horaire et de lieu de travail. Vous considérez que les horaires variables (journée, travail en équipes, week-ends) sont un élément normal du travail. Vous êtes disposé à vous rendre sur nos différents sites en Belgique et à l'étranger (principalement en France et aux Pays-Bas, max. 30 % de votre temps de travail).

VOTRE DÉFI en tant que Technicien de terrain Générateurs

En tant que technicien de terrain spécialisé en générateurs, vous participez activement à divers projets de maintenance, révisions et interventions. Atout – et défi – supplémentaire : dans votre travail, aucun jour ne se ressemble !

• Vous êtes chargé d’organiser, de coordonner et d'exécuter des travaux de maintenance mécanique sur des générateurs industriels et des systèmes auxiliaires.
• Au début d'un nouveau chantier, vous participez à la préparation et, en concertation avec les ingénieurs spécialisés de notre équipe, déterminez l'approche, la planification et l'étendue des travaux à réaliser.
• En fonction du projet, vous assumez soit le rôle de chef de chantier, soit celui de technicien de terrain (ou les deux).
• Dans votre rôle de chef de chantier, vous vous occupez de la coordination et de l'exécution des travaux et vous êtes responsable de la définition des ressources, de la commande des matériaux et équipements, ainsi que d’un suivi correct et ponctuel.
• Pour l'exécution, vous travaillez avec une équipe de techniciens composée de collègues et de sous-traitants.
• Vous êtes responsable du suivi et du compte rendu des travaux requis ; vous veillez constamment à votre sécurité et à celle de vos collègues.
• Sur les chantiers non planifiés ou en cas d’incidents imprévus, vous participez aux interventions, vous analysez le problème et vous travaillez sur les générateurs afin de remédier à la situation.
