B2B PORTFOLIO MANAGER

is looking for a person for position of:
B2B Portfolio Manager
location: Katowice, Poland
Main responsibilities:
- managing a B2B portfolio (energy, gas, certificates), monitoring and optimizing existing contracts,ensuring compliance with agreements and company strategy,
- analysing the electricity and gas markets, identifying key trends, investment opportunities and potential risk,
- developing and refining hedging strategies, adapting them to changing market conditions,
- managing the process of setting prices for electricity and gas for the Sales Department,
- monitoring and analysing the performance of the energy and gas sales portfolio, managing P&L for the positions and ensuring transparent and regular reporting,
- working closely with other departments and group companies (Brussels, Paris), including local and central GEMS BP Downstream,
- monitoring and managing market and operational risks.
Candidate profile:
- university degree, preferred fields: mathematics, technical, economics,
- minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar position,
- knowledge of electricity market mechanisms in Poland and Europe,
- TGE broker license is considered as strong asset,
- pragmatic, economic, and logical approach combined with problem-solving skills,
- knowledge of the fundamentals in the power markets,
- good knowledge of IT/IS applications and tools, especially practical ability to apply new IT solutions in portfolio management and trading,
- advanced level of English
- Fluent in Polish
