About: Lead procurement and contracts function in India for Engie’s renewable energy projects, O&M and other functions

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Manage end to end Procurement & Contracts Management function.
  • Detailed costing and estimation to optimize the EPC costs during the development phase
  • Post securing the project, handle the team during the entire procurement process including floating of RFP/RFQs, coordinate with technical team for technical evaluation, lead commercial evaluation upto contract finalisation including negotiations with EPC, BOS, O&M and equipment suppliers.
  • Managing all project contractual activities including drafting, evaluation, negotiation & execution of subcontracts in coordination with legal team.
  • Overall responsibility for planning, making strategies for Change Order, Contracts management. Planning & defining policies & processes to build in efficiency in supply chain & procurement of regular purchases such as Modules, BOS, Power evacuation, power transformer, services etc.
  • Managing logistics operations, coordinating with external agencies to achieve seamless & cost-effective transport solution.
  • Management of consultant for coordination with Customs, Excise, Taxation departments for various duty benefits and schemes including thorough understanding of Tax & Duty structures for Products & Services in the RE sector.
  • Managing the end to end project insurances including EAR, ALOP, IAR, MLOP, terrorism, CGL etc. 
  • Track international supply chains & trends on wind, solar, storage etc and develop new vendor base and work closely in conjunction with regional and global procurement teams to develop an effective Procurement strategy.
  • Develop the Purchase/Procurement Policies, Process, Systems in line with Budget and timelines set.
  • Spend analysis, Strategic planning, forecasting, and Budgeting for Sourcing and procurement.
  • Continuous involvement in Global Supplier Selection Process to develop a supply base that provides competitive advantage in quality, value/cost, delivery, and technology.

Successful Applicant must have

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering & MBA – operations preferred
  • Minimum 12-15 years of work experience with 7 years in Procurement and Supply Chain in Renewable Energy space.
  • Must possess thorough knowledge of utility scale, grid connected Solar & Wind based Renewable Energy projects, with experience of atleast 1 GW of projects
  • Must possess a strong vendor network and excellent connects across Domestic & International equipment & service suppliers, EPC providers and service providers
  • Procurement background in a leading RE EPC company / RE IPP.
  • Should possess excellent skill sets in Communication, Negotiation, Networking & Relationship Management.
  • Hands-on ability to work in a very leanly staffed environment.
  • Good commercial understanding of pricing trends and ability to make fairly accurate & realistic forecasts of future procurement budgets & costs.

Mission

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, will be involved in the following activities:

  • Implementation of the assigned project based on the elaborated Construction Plan.
  • Coordination of the resources assigned for the execution of the works.
  • Verification of all H&S Quality and environment aspects related to the execution of the works.
  • Processing of the Construction Site Journal on a daily basics.
  • Verification of the Work Progress based on the assigned schedule.
  • Support coordination of site meetings and processing of the Project Progress Report.

Functions

  • You will be responsible for the professional construction of the PV farm/s following quality, time, and budget guidelines, encouraging the Contractors to deliver the project safely and promoting a culture that prioritizes and ensures that H&S is an integral part of all work performed.
  • You will be responsible for technical supervision, site organization and operational control, safety, and reporting. As a technical manager, you are the interface between Engineering and Construction.
  • You will be on-site during construction being the first point of contact for contractors and third parties.
  • You control the progress reports, composing daily, weekly, and monthly ones, and the executed works so that they also conform to the plans and agreements made.
  • You will take action to deal and mitigate with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at the construction site.
  • You perform tests to ensure conformity between the quality of work and specifications.
  • You also lead and actively participate in regular work meetings and other stakeholder consultation moments.
  • You will oversee the process all the way to commissioning and CoD, with the finality of handover to our Asset Management and O&M teams, ensuring project documentation requirements are met for the handover of projects upon completion.
  • You will ensure the compliance and enforce compliance of personnel under your charge with current legal regulations as well as internal rules and procedures.

Minimum requirements

  • MSc Civil, Electrical or Mechanical or similar
  • Project Management PMP ®, Project controls, Contract Management, Scheduling, cost controls, negotiation, and budgeting.
  • MS Project expert, MS Office 365 expert, CAD 
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements for constructing and operating renewable assets in Spain.
  • Knowledge of PV industry best practices, standards, and related Spanish legislation.
  • Knowledge of Construction phases within renewable projects, cost estimating, and budget forecasts. 
  • Office software, MS Project Planner
  • Fluent in Spanish and English

  • Elaborar estrategias a partir de los datos de siniestralidad recogidos.
  • Elaborar e impartir programas formativos de prevención de riesgos y primeros auxilios.
  • Realizar visitas regulares y puntuales con su correspondiente emisión de un informe para la evaluación de riesgos de los centros, o situaciones de riesgo puntuales
  • Participar como representante de la empresa en los diversos comités de seguridad y salud existentes.

 

Requisitos mínimos

  • Estar en posesión de formación de Técnico Superior en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales.
  • Nivel alto de inglés (B2)
  • Experiencia mínima de 3 años en un puesto similar.

  • Preparación de la documentación técnica y administrativa para la presentación y solicitud de capacidades de acceso ante Red Eléctrica o las Compañías Distribuidoras.
  • Revisión de proyectos técnicos, ambientales y documentación técnica a presentar ante la Administración para la tramitación y obtención de permisos.
  • Seguimiento del avance de los trámites y de los permisos ante la Administración, con contacto puntual con la administración.
  • Preparación de documentación técnica y administrativa para la presentación y solicitud de los permisos ante la Administración.
  • Evaluación de la viabilidad técnica, ambiental, urbanística y económica de nuevas oportunidades para el emplazamiento de proyectos de energías renovables (fotovoltaica y eólica).
  • Control de gastos y subcontratas.
  • Generación de documentación y presentación en los diferentes comités internos, de las oportunidades de negocio.
  • Participación / coordinación en fases de due diligence asociada a procesos de M&A, desarrollo y financiación de proyectos.

 

Requisitos

 

Estudios universitarios superiores en ingeniería, arquitectura, cartografía, topografía, ciencias ambientales o similar.

Formación complementaria

 

  • Se valora muy positivamente disponer de estudios específicos o especialización en categorías energética, ambiental, urbanística y/o eléctrica.

 

Experiencia Profesional

 

  • Imprescindible experiencia previa en el desarrollo, originación y tramitación de proyectos de energías renovables en España. De 4 – 6 años de experiencia.

 

Conocimientos específicos

 

  • Se valora muy positivamente conocimientos relacionados con la regulación y normativa nacional de la industria de energía renovable, desarrollo de negocio greenfield, regulación en materia de permisos y negociación/desarrollo de contratos en energías renovables.

Wat ga je doen als Medewerker Magazijn?

Als medewerker magazijn werk je in teamverband en ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het ontvangen, controleren, opslaan, selecteren en uitgeven van goederen en uitleengereedschappen in het magazijn. Dit doe je binnen de daarvoor geldende logistieke en administratieve procedures, zodat interne klanten op tijd over goederen en gereedschappen met de gewenste specificatie kunnen beschikken. Daarnaast:

  • (licht) Onderhoud, inspectie en eventuele reparatie van gereedschappen en transportmiddelen in overleg met de Senior Medewerker Magazijn (Logistiek).
  • Inventarisatie van de voorraad van goederen en gereedschappen in overleg met de Senior Medewerker Logistiek.
  • Interne en externe transporten van goederen, met als doel het tijdig, efficiënt en veilig vervoeren van goederen.
  • Registratie van inkomende en uitgaande goederen/gereedschappen volgens interne richtlijnen, met als doel een complete en juist vastgelegde magazijnadministratie.

In deze functie werk je vooral samen met je collega medewerkers van de centrale en de senior medewerker logistiek. Je rapporteert aan de Adjunct Manager Onderhoud. Dagelijks heb je contact met interne klanten van onderhoud, EMS etc.

 

Wat neem jij mee?

  • Minimaal een Mbo-opleiding logistiek of een direct vergelijkbare opleiding.
  • Het is een pré als je certificaten hebt zoals NEN 3140, heftruck en klim- en hijsmiddelen.

Wat bieden wij jou als Medewerker Magazijn?

As the IT Advisor at ENGIE North America, based in Houston, TX, you will serve as a key link between IT & Digital and various business departments, supporting ENGIE’s zero-carbon transition in North America.   • Serve as a key liaison between IT and Finance, addressing consolidation and reporting questions, issues, enhancement requests, and project deliverables
  • Collaborate with stakeholders—including internal teams, external partners, and third-party software vendors—to deliver effective solutions
  • Analyze, extract, transform, load, and model data and master data to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Identify, analyze, and remediate data and master data inconsistencies, driving timely resolution with Finance and IT resources, especially during Close and Budget cycles

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Information Technology and business operations, with a strong focus on designing, implementing, and supporting technology solutions that enhance business insight, financial forecasting, and data integration
  • Hands-on experience with consolidation platforms such as SAP BPC, SAP BFC, SAP Group Reporting, Hyperion, OneStream, or similar systems

Compensation

Salary Range: $113,900 – $174,570 USD annually

Che cosa farai?

Nel Ruolo di Facility Engineer TLC & Data Center riporterai al Contract Manager e, in coordinamento con il team Industrial & Facility Energy Services, gestirai le seguenti attività.

 

Quali saranno le tue responsabilità?

  • Gestire l’attività di manutenzione ordinaria e straordinaria e riqualificazione impianti esistenti nel contratto e sito assegnato
  • Preventivazione delle opere straordinarie sugli Impianti Elettrici e Meccanici della commessa
  • Assicurare che tutte le attività vengano svolte nel pieno rispetto delle normative in materia di ambiente e sicurezza e della normativa tecnica
  • Assicurare la corretta esecuzione delle attività e relativa contabilizzazione
  • Gestione e acquisto dei ricambi necessari alla corretta manutenzione ordinaria e straordinaria.

 

Che cosa porterai in Engie?

  • Laurea in ingegneria civile/meccanica/energetica o Gestione del Costruito, o titolo di studio equipollente;
  • Esperienza pregressa di almeno due anni in attività similari;
  • Conoscenza delle logiche relative all’analisi dei costi e della preventivazione con listini;
  • Conoscenza normative tecniche di riferimento;
  • Ottime capacita relazionali e di team working;

Your mission  
As Senior Civil Works Site Engineer in our Proximity department of the Metier ‘Civil Engineering & Infra’, part of the Business Area Nuclear, you will address the technical follow-up of the civil works related to the different projects that are ongoing and will be realized in the frame of
- Long Term Operations – namely the projects associated to the life time extension of Doel 4;
- Decommissioning and Dismantling – namely both the new build and modifications associated to the final shutdown of Doel 1,  2 and 3;
- Plant Operational Support – namely the civil works assistance we deliver to the operational power plants (e.g. from maintenance works for cooling towers or other important structures, to completely new build structures, as e.g. Spent Fuel Storage Facilities);

You will join the Site Team under the mentorship of the Site Lead.


Your key responsibilities  

  • interfacing between Tractebel’s back office, the Client and Contractors realizing the works;
  • inspecting the Contractors’ execution activities, verifying compliance with execution drawings and documents (erection methodology etc.);
  • verifying and monitoring of Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) requirements;
  • management of the technical interfaces between Contractors;
  • management and follow up of main design modifications;
  • participation to regular meetings with the stakeholders: progress, challenges, interfaces, HSE, etc.;
  • drafting work orders and site orders, issuing notes on the execution and shortcomings, and checking the progress reports prepared by the Contractors;
  • continually exchanging information on developments in work, studies, etc.;
     


We would love to hear from people with  

  • a Master degree in civil/structural engineering;
  • relevant professional experience in an engineering or contractor’s environment, including design assignments and erection follow-up, preferably in an industrial environment is an advantage;
  • fluency in Dutch, and either French or English;
