Role Summary 

As the Senior ACMV Design Engineer you will have to conduct the detailed design executed by external engineering firms or by internal Engie team; and support the project management team during the execution phase to ensure the committed system technical performances are achieved.  


Reporting to the Engineering Lead, SEA Regional Technical Office, you will be part of the engineering team in our Regional Technical Office. You will work closely with Business Development teams, Construction Management team, local Singapore entity as well as our internal Digital team, Assets Performance Management team (APM) and Innovation team. You will be based in Singapore.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Execute the detailed design: sizing, P&IDs, control strategy of the systems,  I/O points and sequence of operation
  • Coordinate with the different project stakeholders (client, consultants, Qualified Person / Professional Engineer, vendors, contractors…) to ensure a smooth flow of information and ensure the design is developed in collaboration with all parties with good quality and no scope gaps
  • Establish the equipment specifications and terms of reference for the tendering process
  • Review equipment vendors’ offers and ensure technical compliance
  • Review contractors’ offers and ensure technical compliance
  • Support project management team during the construction works to validate variations and ensure the technical compliance of the works
  • Develop tools, as the need arise, to standardize and streamline design calculations and engineering deliverables
  • Review proof of concept or test bedding of innovative technical solutions

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Thermal, Mechanical, Process Engineering, Sustainable Infrastructure Engineering (Building Services) or equivalent
  • Singapore Certified Energy Manager, BCA registered Energy Auditor or ESCO accreditation will be an advantage 
  • At least 3 years experience as Design Engineer for district cooling, HVAC project or large scale building waterside and airside cooling systems
  • Experience in cooling systems Operation & Maintenance, control systems, would be an advantage
  • Understanding of key legal and financial drivers that impact the technical solutions, would be an advantage
  • Understanding of risk management in the energy services industry
  • Goal getting, driven, committed, with strong planning and execution capabilities

Job Overview

 

The Global Data & Analytics Manager for Strategic Marketing will play a crucial role in the Strategic Marketing department (which oversees Sales, Marketing and Customer Experience). The role will be responsible for empowering decision makers with real-time and right-sized data insights and recommendations to improve performance and inform strategies. This role requires an ability to work cross-functionally with country teams and key central functions including Credit, Product, Digital, Finance and others to develop and maintain strong business and technology relationships, becoming a trusted partner to all stakeholders. 

The right candidate will be analytical, curious and have a passion for solving problems through a data-driven, customer-centric approach. Ideally, you would combine your analytical capability with a background in commercial strategy, especially with pricing, customer segmentation, customer experience and customer value management. It is critical this role goes “beyond data” and communicates actionable recommendations to key decision-makers; “forcing their hand” if necessary to make the right strategic decision.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Business intelligence, reporting & data visualization for Strategic Marketing
  • Ad-hoc and project related analytics and performance insights
  • Strategic planning and budgeting / forecasting related to Strategic Marketing
  • People leadership, including direct leadership of data analysts (with full responsibility for the team’s workplan, coaching and professional development; and indirect leadership of country data analysts (mentoring, training and capacity development))
  • Management of processes, systems and standards for Strategic Marketing reporting and analytics and alignment with data sources across EEA

Main Activities  

Business Intelligence, Reporting & Monitoring (approx 30%)

  • Develop effective business intelligence strategies and analytics / visualization solutions for Strategic Marketing for use by key decision makers (Global leadership, Managing Directors, Country functional leads, etc.)
  • Design, develop and own interactive Tableau dashboards to track key performance indicators, summarize data trends, and to enable EEA markets to manage and monitor their performance
  • Generate regular Strategic Marketing reports including: (1) monthly performance reviews; (2) monthly war room content for Global leadership (3) monthly reports to Global and ENGIE leadership; (5) quarterly “Deep Dives” on performance and other key topics by market; (6) preparation of Year in Review; (7) other ad-hoc requests from time to time
  • Monitor on an ongoing basis performance against key metrics and agreed targets across EEA and markets, including financial and operational drivers, continuously identifying improvement opportunities, and communicating to key stakeholders

Analytics & Insights (approx 20%)

  • Conduct ad-hoc rigorous analysis (including statistical analysis and data modeling) to evaluate strategic marketing performance, to form new insights, to highlight areas for improvement, and to drive decision making and strategies
  • Oversee analytics projects to extract, manage, and analyze strategic marketing data from multiple applications or sources (including field research)
  • Work closely with EEA Data to develop and validate predictive models, forecasts or other data tools for strategic marketing
  • Provide support on broader analytical needs of the EEA Strategic Marketing team, including analysis of pilots, interventions, operations or field research work
  • Strategy & Planning (approx 20%)
  • Work with the Strategic Marketing leadership and with EEA markets to ensure that strategies and plans are data-driven and informed by analytical insights
  • Provide leadership and rigor in the development of Strategic Marketing performance targets for each market and for EEA on a consolidated basis, including leading the forecasting and reforecasting processes
  • Develop functional goals and priorities for Strategic Marketing analytics and business intelligence which align with the overall strategy for EEA
  • Design, scope out, implement, manage and monitor specific projects and initiatives to improve the accuracy, effectiveness and/or efficiency of EEA’s Strategic Marketing analytics and business intelligence outputs
  • Keep abreast of industry best practices and standards for performance analysis, reporting, etc.
  • Serve as a key stakeholder for the EEA Pricing Committee, advising country teams 

Management, Training & Capacity Development (approx 20%)

  • Lead a team of analysts (currently 2), including full responsibility for coaching and their professional development
  • Manage the team’s work plan and workload to ensure delivery of agreed goals
  • Work with EEA leadership and country leadership to enable decision makers to access and interpret BI tools, reports and analytical outputs, and to understand and analyze their performance an ongoing basis
  • Coach country analysts to develop their analytical skills or their capacity to build localized dashboards and data views

Processes, Systems & Standards (approx 10%)

  • Document and standardize business rules and definitions for key processes and metrics to ensure alignment of all stakeholders
  • Work closely with other stakeholders and data users across the company to create and maintain controls systems and review standards which ensure data quality and prevent discrepancies
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts and engineers to ensure and improve data availability, integrity, accuracy, and reliability

 

Knowledge and skills Experience:

 

  • At least 6–10 years work experience in fields such as in data analysis, statistics, financial analysis, business analysis, or similar, particularly in sectors like retail financial services or telecommunications
  • Exceptional analytical skills and business judgement, with the ability to synthesize and interpret qualitative and quantitative data into practical strategy recommendations
  • Able to query databases using SQL (requirement), experienced with data visualization tools (Tableau, D3, ggplot, etc.), financial modelling using Excel, and comfortable with basics of with database management, data engineering, basic accounting and financial reporting
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders to make evidence-backed and rational decisions
  • Experience building, inspiring, leading teams with a wide variety of levels, experience and capabilities 
  • Strong experience and capability in commercial strategy, especially with pricing, customer segmentation, customer experience and customer value management 
  • Skilled in project management, with an exceptional ability to collaborate, influence, and execute against strategy

As our Contracts Analyst Senior, at Georgetown University, in Washington, DC, you will manage the execution of construction contracts working closely with the project team including the prime contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and equipment vendors to ensure that contract terms are understood, adhered to, and in compliance with procurement policies, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.

You will report to the Director of Capital Projects.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You possess a Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management Engineering, or related field
  • You have five 5 years of experience in a related field where you have provided field support during execution of capital projects which involves monitoring contract performance, reviewing project invoicing for contract compliance, tracking project milestones, and timely addressing any issues that arise
  • You have a background in construction contract development, contract management or project execution
  • You have an experience in construction projects, working at sites, managing subcontractors, contracts administration and change management
  • You have experience with contract development and/or contract administration, including an understanding of procurement procedures; along with project execution and project related tax, finance, insurance and legal issues
  • You can address Change Order requests by aligning with the Project Manager and all stakeholders, driving cost and schedule negotiations with the contractor, understanding the project’s scope, and utilizing the contractual terms to preserve the contracting plan
  • You will prepare final Change Order for signatures utilizing the proper Management of Change (MOC) procedures
  • You will provide support, strategy, and resolution to Project Managers on contractual claims and disputes, liaising and keeping informed all Project Stakeholders
  • You will maintain a structured and documented record of all capital project communications, notices, legal records, including lien waivers, bonds, claims
  • You will also support the procurement process of services and materials for successful completion of the capital project
  • You will develop relationships with project stakeholders, construction contractors, qualified equipment vendors, suppliers, and design/engineering firms
  • You will prepare project close-out documentation and final contract requirements at different milestones of a construction project including mechanical completion, substantial completion, and final completion

What You Can Expect

Located in the San Diego area, the Photovoltaic (PV) Technician will be responsible for the preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of numerous solar projects, primarily smaller-scale public works projects. Electrical safety and driving safety are critical in this role, and you will be expected to fully comply with all safety requirements and federal, state, and local laws applicable to this position.

 

As a PV Technician, your primary responsibilities include maintaining the performance of each photovoltaic project, responding promptly to trouble tickets, and performing corrective actions while maintaining detailed service reports. You will develop work scopes for repair issues requiring subcontracted assistance, conduct annual preventative maintenance services for PV systems, and use a field mobile application for accurate record keeping. You will review annual service reports to identify and plan corrective actions with the Regional Service Manager.

 

In this role, you will also be responsible for performing corrective repair services, maintaining detailed expense records, and creating and refining reporting systems for management. Other tasks include re-commissioning, site inspections, and any additional duties assigned by the manager.

 

You will work closely with the Regional Service Manager for daily tasks and directions and provide on-the-job training to apprentice electricians, helping them develop into safe, productive journeyman electricians. Ongoing communication with the Regional Service Manager regarding field activity status is essential.

 

Your work will predominantly be on prevailing wage projects, and all project work must adhere to the O&M and Performance Guarantee contract terms, especially concerning customer safety requirements, DOJ Livescan, and site access terms and conditions.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Must be a California Certified Journeyman Electrician
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience, experience with PV design, installation, and/or maintenance       
  • The position must abide by and understand the safety requirements of the NEC electrical code, NFPA70 and OSHA 30
  • The position must work very close with the  Regional Service Manager for daily tasks and directions
  • Provide on-the job training to Electrical apprentices
  • The position requires reviewing PV system performance reports and troubleshooting under-performance issues as well as outage problems at customer sites
  • Technical requirement of commissioning, troubleshooting of solar electrical generation systems, and monitoring communication equipment
