What You Can Expect

As our HR Business Partner, your role will be based in our Houston, TX office. Your primary responsibility revolves around providing strategic leadership and guidance to assigned groups, with a focus on Human Resource planning, program development, and optimization. Collaborating with the Center of Excellence (COE), you play a crucial role in delivering HR services aligned with the organization's short, medium, and long-term business strategies. This comprehensive role extends support to designated groups and other ENGIE North America office locations, emphasizing the promotion of programs, policies, and fostering positive employee engagement. Your daily tasks involve effective collaboration with business leaders to manage employee relations and performance, strategic coaching on key HR strategy such as succession planning, career path development, and performance management. Leading talent assessments and facilitating onboarding and offboarding processes are integral components of your role. Managing leaves of absences in accordance with company policy and applicable laws, conducting investigations, and serving as an HR Project Manager for acquisitions and divestitures highlight the diverse nature of your responsibilities. Your collaboration with Mobility for inpat/expat assignments, international transfers, and visas further underscore the breadth of your daily contributions to the organization's HR success.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field where you demonstrated proficiency with human resources operations, functions and processes. Additionally, you have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar role with progressive responsibility where you’ve rolled out multiple initiatives while serving as a partner to your client group
  • You hold or are interested in pursuing an active Professional Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification, showcasing proficiency
  • You demonstrate expertise in making sound strategic HR decisions and talent assessment, contributing to organizational success
  • You excel in adapting to changing environments, navigating complexity, and strategically promote an inclusive/diverse workforce. You enjoy leveraging these skills for organizational success

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy consisting of in-office (2 per week) and work-from-home opportunities (3 per week)

Compensation

Salary Range: $84,000 – $117,000 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In this position, you will manage several transactions (3 to 5 with a total value of €1 billion) simultaneously. You will carry out the financial analysis of investment projects such as acquisitions, disposals, restructurings, financings and responses to calls for tender, and provide direct support for decision-making. You will ensure that the valuation methodology and investment criteria are applied consistently across all projects. You will also carry out cross-functional tasks such as depreciation tests and look-back exercises. You will develop complex financial models used for decision-making, from detailed operational assumptions to the key financial indicators required for investment decisions. You will play an active role in training junior staff.

Internal interfaces: you will maintain strong working relationships with the finance, tax, legal and business development teams to structure projects as effectively as possible.

Purpose of the Job

 

The Senior Business Developer responsibility is to identify, evaluate, develop and deliver business opportunities, through structured deals, which fit EPWME strategic objectives, financial criteria and risk allocation.

These business development opportunities will primarily be focused on activities in the region related to flexible power generation (Gas fired plant, BESS, Sea Water Desalination, H2) arising through:

  • Greenfield development (either bids or bilateral transactions);
  • Acquisitions;
  • Brownfield development;

Key Accountabilities

•            Identify, evaluate, develop and execute new business development opportunities for EPWME

•            Conduct assessment of a project to assess its technical, legal and financial viability.

•            Prepare, monitor, analyze and approve projects’ budgets, expenses as well as provides accommodating follow-up reports

•            Lead negotiations of all project agreements (JDA, SHA, PPA and/or WPA, EPC and supply contracts, Finance Documentation, etc.);

•            Develop a plan which meets both short and long term financial objectives,  identify development priorities and potential asset rotation opportunities to create additional value for EPWME

  • Support operation and maintenance team for supplier engagement and comprehensive solution

 

Control System and Digital    

  • Drive the standardization of Control system architecture 
  • Support the deployment of the Operation Control Centre in order to be able to monitor all our portfolio remotely
  • Implement the Computerized Maintenance Management System and support adoption for all projects
  • Help to coordinate among stakeholders and define objectives, organization, system architecture, platform-tools & budget.

Job Summary
The Accountant will play a key role on the finance and accounting team. The role is expected to actively participate in the month-end close, preparing or reviewing all monthly reconciliations, and managing other accounting team members. Key Responsibilities

Ensure timely payment of all payment requests.

Preparing compliance schedules and ensure timely remittance

Organize, file, and follow up on and maintain payment support, especially that from the field team.

Manage the entities Bank accounts to ensure all transactions are correctly accounted for and all bank accounts are fully reconciled.

Manage the cost line of the entity to ensure all expenses are fully accounted for and relevant accruals and releases are done:

Coordinate with Accounts assistants to ensure meeting of month end close deadlines and accurate / complete posting of all mobile money including the below:

Posting / reconciling of all mobile money payments

Managing accounts payable and ensure ending supplier balances are accurate.

Preparing and maintaining prepaid expense & fixed asset registers and track all Company assets.

Preparing month-end reconciliations for mobile money sending, accounts payable, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets (which will be reviewed by Accounting Associate or Sr Accountant).

Manage and ensure all month end reconciliations under the Accounts payable section and accurately done and ensure outstanding items are cleared on a timely basis.

Liaise with external auditors during the audit process.

¿Cuál sería tu objetivo?

Supervisar y ejecutar la operación remota y control del portafolio de activos renovables de EECL y sus clientes, coordinando de manera centralizada los trabajos del personal de terreno, centros de control de terceros y despacho generación, para la ejecución de actividades operativas y mantenimiento de manera de resguardar la salud del activo, lograr un óptimo cumplimiento del programa de corto plazo y de los indicadores de gestión (disponibilidad, calidad, seguridad, medio ambiente). El perfil del operador debe tener una mirada analítica, detectando anticipadamente fallas y/o situaciones que impacten en la generación, además de contribuir en los nuevos desafíos de la compañía como la integración de los nuevos activos al portafolio y el trabajo colaborativo con el despacho de generación

 

Funciones:

  • Supervisar y ejecutar las tareas de operación y de control los parámetros de forma remota, con un alcance que contempla todo el portafolio de activos renovables (subestación, parque y almacenamiento) de EECL y clientes, para velar por el cumplimiento de los niveles de despacho según lo programado, estándares de calidad, seguridad y medio ambiente, resguardando la salud del activo así como el margen de la compañía
  • Coordinar trabajos con el personal en terreno, centros de control de terceros y despacho generación para la ejecución de las actividades, mantenimientos y requerimientos operacionales, con el fin de mantener la disponibilidad del portafolio de activos renovables EECL y clientes, según lo planificado y los estándares requeridos
  • Ejecutar las instrucciones emanadas del despacho de generación y las acciones correctivas necesarias en el proceso operacional, para lograr el cumplimiento de programa de corto plazo (PCP) de generación e indicadores de gestión
  • Aplicar esquemas de recuperación de servicios locales, maniobras remotas en subestaciones, del plan de recuperación del servicio (PRS) para normalizar del sistema eléctrico. Ante emergencias y ausencia del Jefe de Operaciones Centro de Control Renovable, tomar decisiones asertivas que aseguren la seguridad del personal, del medioambiente y de los activos
  • Analizar los parámetros, alarmas y tendencias operacionales para la detección temprana o anticipada de fallas, velando por la salud del activo. Así como también, analizar los pronósticos meteorológicos para estimar producción que se utilizarán para optimización de la PCP y la programación de los trabajos de mantenimiento en sitio

 

Requisitos del cargo:

  • Formación Académica: Ingenieria Ejecución Electricista, Mecánico, en Instrumentación y Control, o afines
  • Operación y mantenimiento de activos renovables
  • Herramientas de monitoreo y análisis de datos operacionales como IP21, PI, Darwin
  • Office nivel intermedio, Excel avanzado (deseable), Power BI intermedio (deseable).
  • Herramientas del CEN: Neomante, RIO, OPReal y PMP.
  • Manejo SAP nivel usuario
  • Experiencia mínima de 3 años en operación y control de activos renovables.
  • Experiencia en despacho de activos, telemando, y coordinación y comunicación con Coordinador Eléctrico Nacional (CEN).

What You Can Expect

The Commissioning Engineer is part of a multi-disciplinary team focused on delivering all aspects of facility start-up, commissioning, testing, and handover to operations for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. The Engineer interacts with, oversees, and leads a multidisciplinary team made up of ENGIE personnel, Engineering/Procurement/Construction (EPC) Contractor personnel, Major Equipment Vendor Technical Field Advisors, Consulting Engineers, and other specialist resources in accordance with all applicable contracts, permits, and other project requirements. For project purposes, the Commissioning Engineer reports to the assigned Project Manager.

 

  • Oversee all commissioning activities to transition BESS facilities from construction to safe, stable, and reliable operations
  • Develop and execute a Commissioning Plan, ensuring activities are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget and schedule
  • Examine project permits, agreements, licenses, registrations, and contracts to identify necessary data collection and activities for commissioning
  • Analyze QA/QC documentation during construction to adjust the Commissioning Plan and address issues with stakeholders
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure proper project closeout, address issues/claims, and lead continuous improvement activities related to start-up, commissioning, and testing

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in management, engineering, science, or technology related field
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience related to the development, design and/or construction of complex energy projects
  • Experience in leading, managing, and/or directing multi-discipline teams and external partners
  • Ability to be flexible and adjust to changing project conditions,  providing solution based alternatives, and developing recommendations
  • Working knowledge of technical software such as SCADA and other Energy Management Systems (EMS)
  • Working knowledge office software such as MS Office, Teams, SharePoint, MS Project, and other database software or construction software such as like ArcGIS, GreenIT, SAP, and Procore

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
  • Must be available to travel domestically 30% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips

Compensation

Salary Range: $65,520 – $100,222 USD annually

What You Can Expect

As the IT / Control System Infrastructure Engineer located in Washington, DC you will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of SCADA software systems used for monitoring and controlling industrial processes.  This role is critical for ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and safety of our operations. 

 

The position will also involve creating and maintaining documentation to ensure adherence to  industry standard SCADA software standards and cybersecurity controls, aligning with all levels of the Purdue Security Model. Additionally, the incumbent will be required to comply with all government regulations, including FERC/NERC CIP, as well as guidelines imposed by other governing bodies relevant to the specific plant facility.

 

No two days are the same in this role. As the IT / Control Systems & Infrastructure Engineer, you will be immersed in a dynamic plant environment, working hands-on with plant personnel, including engineers, OT instrumentation technicians, and network engineers, to support and optimize our control and network systems. From developing and implementing SCADA systems to troubleshooting and enhancing OT network infrastructure, you will be at the center of operational excellence.

 

Reporting to the System Operation Director, your primary duties encompass:

 

  • Designing, developing, deploying, and providing ongoing maintenance for SCADA software systems utilized within plant instrumentation and control systems (Example of SCADA application knowledge includes; Rockwell FactoryTalk, Aveva PI, GE iFix & Simplicity)
  • Must be able to support plant personnel with industrial processes, including sensors, transmitters, controllers, and final control elements and their interconnection to the specific level of the Perdue model
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including software specifications, user manuals, and system configurations
  • Ability to assist with the installing, configuring, and commissioning instrumentation systems onsite
  • Provide ongoing maintenance and support for SCADA systems, ensuring uptime and reliability
  • Performing troubleshooting, diagnostics, and maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and reliability of SCADA systems and other key OT hardware devices, where applicable
  • Work closely with plant personnel to understand operational needs and provide technical support
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure strict compliance with security standards and protocols
  • Collaborating with other engineering disciplines (such as electrical and mechanical) to integrate instrumentation systems into larger projects
  • Conducting performance testing, calibration, and validation of SCADA systems within the instrumentation and OT environments to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards
  • Providing technical support and training to operations and maintenance teams on instrumentation systems, when necessary
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in instrumentation engineering
  • Collaborate with Plant SCADA Instrumentation Technicians, Plant Maintenance personnel, and Regulatory Compliance agencies to establish and implement best practices, as well as company IT and OT standards, for the configuration, security, and maintenance of plant Industrial Control Systems (ICS).

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related technical field where you have gained an understanding in information technology and plant controlled environments
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in SCADA and IT systems operations.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience with Operational Technology (OT)/Industrial Control Systems (ICS)
  • Strong knowledge and experience in managing and supporting Microsoft Windows OS technology,
  • Strong knowledge of virtualization technology, specifically VMWare ESXi and Nutanix AHV.
  • Proficiency in OS and application patching capabilities; Ivanti System Operations skill is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in major operating systems, Microsoft Office, virtualization, backup and recovery software, disk backup, and network monitoring software.
  • Proficiency and working knowledge of SCADA system platforms;  Rockwell Factory Talk, Aveva PI, GE iFix & Simplicity
  • Understanding and compliance with NERC CIP standards, processes, and controls; participation in SCADA Network security assessments and audits.
  • Understanding of SCADA system communication and protocols to secure the network without impacting reliability is beneficial; Modbus; BACnet; TCP/IP.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals of varied technical skill levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments promptly with high accuracy.
  • Effective project management and time management skills to meet strict regulatory deadlines.

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy three (3) days a week when not traveling
  • This role requires attendance at a worksite on a rotation basis
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 30% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record; use of company vehicle, ability to drive to site locations
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies;
  • This position consist of 30% of outdoor work, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions

Compensation

Salary Range: $84,000 – $128,000 USD annually
