Responsibilities 

  • Work closely with cross functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and deliver effective digital solutions across AMEA, ensuring adherence to timelines, deliverables, and ENGIE quality standards.

  • Actively contribute to process improvements and suggest innovative solutions, including RPA, IoT, and AI, to enhance platform capabilities and efficiency.
  • Prepare digital project documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, deployment guides, and user manuals.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for digital platforms and solutions, promptly addressing issues to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity.
  • Assist with adhoc tasks and projects assigned by manager.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor in IT/Electronics Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent 
  • At least 2 years experience in digital project implementation, specifically with CMMS and IoT related technologies
  • Basic networking knowledge & IP addressing skills
  • Ability to understand electrical diagrams and drawings
  • Advantage of having basic understanding of onsite utilities & metering, HVAC and solar system

What You Can Expect

As the Senior Electrical, Project Engineer, you will manage the engineering activities related to design for utility-scale renewables projects (wind, solar, and energy storage) throughout the US and Canada and serve as a main point of contact.

 

Every day in this role you will:

  • Manage multiple projects, coordinate design meetings with Consultants or Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Contractors, and schedule regular meetings and communications with the project team. Review and monitor contractors’ progress and key project milestones
  • Provide engineering technical input at various project stages, coordinate design efforts with EPC or external consultants, and review design submittals with support from ENGIE subject matter experts (Civil and Electrical)
  • Update standards and specifications based on lessons learned, manage external engineering firms and subcontractors, and ensure all deliverables meet project specifications. Actively identify and manage critical risks, issues, and impacts, ensuring adherence to corporate health & safety and environmental requirements
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Development, Engineering, Operations, Permitting, GIS, and Land group), assist procurement in running RFPs and managing sub-contractors, and support crossing exhibits. Facilitate professional development and networking opportunities
  • Stay updated on new technologies, regulatory conditions, industry best practices, and safety standards. Perform site assessments, design review meetings, and due diligence throughout the USA and Canada to support site evaluation, development, and permitting activities

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university or comparable technical knowledge through demonstrated work experience with a solid understanding of power generation plants

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in similar positions, managing renewable energy projects and producing standards, specifications, and documentation
  • Experience in detailed and conceptual design of renewable energy project facilities, with a preference for electrical background (Substations, Collection system, Photovoltaic (PV), Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), Wind, SCADA, Transmission). Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD is preferred
  • Experience and understanding of the owner’s engineer role and technical due diligence. Professional Engineer (PE) License and PMI Certification are a plus, but not required. We appreciate diverse backgrounds and perspectives
  • Experience in day-to-day interactions with project development and construction teams. Ability to communicate effectively with project team and stakeholders, including contractors
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Experience and understanding of commercial contracts and negotiations

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
  • This role requires attendance at a worksite on an as needed project basis
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 30% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips

Compensation

Salary Range: $99,000 – $151,800 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

Requisitos del cargo:

  • Formación académica: Ingeniería Civil / Eléctrica / Electrónica / Electromecánica /Mecánica o similar con probada experiencia en el área de negocios del cargo.
  • Manejo de Gestión de Proyectos.
  • Manejo de Normativa de Seguridad Laboral y Ambiental.

Position Summary:

The Field Operator will be responsible for the local operations of the plant to ensure it meets the required availability, reliability, efficiency, generation and cost targets, safely and within strict environmental limits. This will include regular equipment start-ups, shutdowns, changeovers and regular operation/ monitoring, as well as responding to alarms and emergency conditions. The role requires a detailed understanding and practical experience of the technologies associated to operating a modern Gas Turbine Plant, Desalination plant and wide range of auxiliary equipment.

 


Functions/ Task:        

Safety, Quality & Environment

  1. Responsible to ensure compliance of IMS. Perform all operational activities in line with the safety management system and environment management system.
  2. Responsible to perform the assigned duties and other duties in-line with implementation of safety rules.
  3.  Provide monitoring for the ongoing maintenance jobs on assigned areas.
  4. Reporting of unsafe conditions and behaviors.

Plant Operations

  1. Conducts routine plant checks i.e. plant round ups and completion of log sheets.
  2. Perform operational actions under direction from the CRO (i.e. Valve operations, switching on/ off pumps or resetting the local alarms etc) to avoid any abnormal plant operations or to correct existing abnormalities.
  3. Prepare plant for start ups in accordance with approved operations procedure.

  5. Practical application of safety rules performing safe plant isolations from the system to allow routine maintenance activities. De-isolates and restores plant equipment safely to the system.
  6. Perform routine maintenance activity on the plant such as lube oil top-up, filter replacement and other operational activities.
  7. Support CRO during emergency situation.
  8. Carry out the sample analysis of the plant process steam water cycle in cases where chemist is not on-site and on Demin water, distillate, portable water and other samples.
  9. Monitor and evaluates performance of various plant system and equipment.
  10.  Responsible for maintaining safety and housekeeping of the plant.

  • Monitor the global ammonia markets to identify short term and long term trading opportunities
  • Analyse market trends, S-D balances, trade flows and pricing to inform trading strategies

Trading Operations:

  • Negotiate contracts, terms and conditions with counterparties

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the Managing Director, Head of Business Development, and Regional Head of Industrial Development to scale up project development capabilities, for the achievement of ambitious medium-term growth targets, annual revenue and profitability targets
  • Screen and qualify new Public and Non-Public RFIs and RFPs. Analyse the instructions, identify risks and prepare a clear Go/No Go screening as the first step of the Bid Management Process.
  • Lead and manage full spectrum of Business Development process and activities for industrial Energy Efficiency solutions:
    • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of business opportunities, directly with internal business teams and through external partners
    • Pre-qualify leads and produce indicative offers within tight timelines

  • Qualify and prospect new clients (In accordance with the company’s criteria) for directly negotiated energy efficiency and on-site utilities offers
  • Serve as single contact for preparation of technical, commercial and contractual submissions in collaboration with all services required.
  • Manage and coordinate proposals each day, including technical aspects, from issue of calls for tender documents to bid submission.
  • Manage bid logistics, develop the schedule for the team and setting responsibilities/ expectations for the bid – who does what and when.
  • Manage and seek the necessary approvals for bid submissions
  • Prepare, modify, amend and justify financial model and its inputs for the proposals as necessary
  • Draw on ENGIE’s expertise, skills and resources to develop winning strategies for preparing bids aligned with ENGIE’s “zero-carbon” motto.
