What You Can Expect

The SCADA Engineering Advisor, will manage all aspects of the renewable project engineering design and commissioning oversight activities for utility-scale renewables projects (wind, solar, and energy storage) throughout the US and Canada and serve as an innovative subject matter expert and leader.

In this role the SCADA Engineering Advisor will lead the development of ENGIE North America generation SCADA specifications, including SCADA, PPC, and EMS architecture to be implemented in new project under development process. Additionally, responsible for the SCADA, PV network engineering design drawings reviews and commissioning planning of renewable energy projects (including Wind, Solar PV, and Energy Storage). Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management & Leadership: Oversee engineering design and commissioning for utility-scale renewable projects (wind, solar, energy storage) across the US and Canada. Act as a subject matter expert and leader, collaborating with internal departments and external partners throughout the project lifecycle
  • SCADA Specifications & Design: Develop SCADA, PPC, and EMS architecture for new projects. Review SCADA and PV network engineering design drawings and plan commissioning for renewable energy projects
  • Subject Matter Expertise & Commissioning: Lead as the SCADA and Controls expert, manage assigned projects, provide advice on SCADA options in contracts, and assist in commissioning renewable energy projects, including hands-on work if needed
  • Coordination & Standards: Coordinate the development and oversight of ENGIE Renewable SCADA systems, update standards based on lessons learned, and review design submittals with EPC and owners' engineers. Evaluate communication and metering requirements in Interconnection Agreements
  • System Integration & Cyber Security: Manage SCADA points and controls coordination among various systems and stakeholders including: QSE, Utility, RTO/ISO, substation RTU/IED’s, revenue/check metering, PV/Wind/BESS PPC/EMS and collection system (inverters/PCS, met stations, trackers etc), internal SCADA/IT network and data aggregation systems. Support the implementation of the ENGIE Industrial Control System - Cyber Security framework and manage external engineering firms and subcontractors for project execution

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation and Controls, Electrical is preferred from an ABET- accredited university or comparable field of study, technical knowledge through demonstrated work experience with a solid understanding of Automation & Control, SCADA design for power generation plants, and/or utility systems
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in similar positions, designing and/or commissioning renewable energy projects and producing standards, specifications, documentation, and in the day-to-day interactions with project development and construction teams
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License is highly valued. However, we welcome candidates with equivalent experience or other relevant certifications

  • You will be in charge with WAN connectivity, including dedicated equipment installed to facilitate redundant VPN connectivity between central and remote sites.

Funciones principales:

  • Supervisión y coordinación del equipo de frigoristas
  • Planificar y asignar tareas diarias, asegurando la correcta ejecución de los trabajos.
  • Optimizar el uso de recursos (personal, materiales, equipos) para el desarrollo eficiente de las actividades.
  • Gestionar y coordinar las reparaciones y otros trabajos, asegurando la mínima interrupción de las operaciones
  • Asegurar la aplicación de las medidas de prevención de riesgos laborales en todas las actividades, tanto en obra como en la documentación asociada
  • Servir como punto de contacto principal para los clientes, asegurando la resolución efectiva de sus problemas técnicos
  • Colaborar con los técnicos en la preparación de los informes de intervención

Requisitos:

  • Experiencia mínima de 5 años en frío industrial, en empresas instaladoras y mantenedoras
  • Capacidad de interpretar documentos técnicos (esquemas, planos y especificaciones de equipos)
  • Montaje, reparación y desmontaje de componentes frigoríficos (compresores, intercambiadores, válvulas, etc)
  • Pruebas de estanquidad y vacío en instalaciones
  • Diagnóstico y localización de averías
  • Montaje, conexionado y calibración de instrumentos
  • Manipulación y carga de refrigerantes (amoníaco y halogenados). Carnet de gases fluorados
  • Procedimientos de seguridad en relación a los refrigerantes (uso de EPIs, etc)
  • Automatismos y controles de instalaciones frigoríficas
  • Puesta en marcha y ajustes operativos de las instalaciones

Your mission 

 

As an Electrical Engineer, you will focus on SCADA systems, managing their design, optimization, and integration for control centres in HV/MV substations. You’ll ensure that SCADA and related systems meet the highest industry standards for performance, security, and functionality.


Your key responsibilities
 

  • Lead the design and implementation of SCADA systems for T&D networks and control centres.
  • Integrate SCADA, Energy Management Systems (EMS), and Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS) into substation automation systems (SAS).
  • Develop technical specifications for SCADA-related equipment and systems.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and optimization of SCADA systems for operational efficiency.
  • Manage procurement and factory acceptance testing (FAT) for SCADA systems.
  • Coordinate the integration of communication protocols such as IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-104.
  • Oversee testing, commissioning, and performance monitoring of SCADA systems.
     

We would love to hear from people with

  • Master’s in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
  • At least 10 years of experience with SCADA systems in transmission and distribution networks.
  • Strong knowledge of SCADA, EMS, ADMS, and SAS systems.
  • Fluency in English, Dutch or French is a plus
  • Willingness to deepen knowledge in industrial cybersecurity for HV/MV systems

We are looking for someone to Develop the BP UK structured power trading activities, focusing specifically on power interconnector trading and other structured products including VPS, VBS and CSSO 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for power interconnector trading and other structured products 
  • Drive the exotic products (non-linear) scope of the trading desk 
  • Ensure business continuity: back-up other trading desks within the Business Platform 
  • Daily P&L estimation and validation 
  • Trade and maximize the value of the trading positions 
  • Share knowledge and tools with team members on the trading desk  
  • Respect the compliance rules and trading handbooks 
  • Respect the risk framework (market and credit risk) 
  • Develop and implement data driven and automated trading strategies

Requirements:

  • 2 to 5 years of demonstrable power structured products trading experience, preferably with power interconnectors and non-linear energy products

  • Ability to contribute to complex projects, with many stakeholders

Misión

Si eres la persona seleccionada, serás responsable de la coordinación y gestión de la obra, bajo la dirección del Project Manager de instalaciones asignado al proyecto.

Realizarás tareas de gestión de personal (propio y subcontratado) y de planificación de los trabajos de ejecución de obra del cliente asignado, cumpliendo con las políticas de PRL, calidad y medio ambiente y ética definidas por la compañía.

Especialidad: Montaje mecánico de instalaciones de fluidos (agua sobrecalentada, vapor, aire comprimido, HVAC ...) y conocimiento de montaje de instalaciones eléctricas BT.

Che cosa farai?

Nel Ruolo di Manutentore Elettrico riporterai al Contract Manager e, in coordinamento con il team Industrial & Facility Energy Services, gestirai le attività di manutenzione ordinaria e straordinaria a te assegnata.

 

Quali saranno le tue responsabilità?

  • Attività di manutenzione ordinaria e straordinaria su impianti elettrici di bassa e media tensione;
  • Conduzione e manutenzione di impianti elettrici (con focus Data Center);
  • Manutenzione ordinaria e straordinaria su linee di distribuzione, impianti elettrici a servizio degli impianti tecnologici, gruppi frigoriferi e gruppi di continuità (UPS);
  • Realizzazione di lavori straordinari su impianti elettrici;
  • Gestione sistemi di supervisione e sistemi informatici di manutenzione;
  • Assistenza ai tecnici delle ditte subappaltatrici.

 

Che cosa porterai in Engie?
