As Assitant to Managing Director Renewables, you will provide administrative support to our managing director and support business operations. In addition to maintaining the calendar, general office management tasks and organizing various appointments, you will ensure smooth communication within the organization and with external stakeholders.

 

ACT NOW - These are your tasks:

 

  • Planning, organization and coordination: As an organizational talent, you will coordinate management appointments with internal and external stakeholders as well as the annual meeting of the renewables team, prepare the monthly update presentations for the team in coordination with the German and English-speaking management team and occasionally take minutes of the meetings and events.
  • Contact, appointment and document maintenance: You will maintain management appointments and contacts in MS Outlook and make efficient use of our document filing systems and various communication channels.
  • Office management: In addition to ordering materials such as hardware or work clothing, you will also order various services, e.g. catering.
  • Personnel processes: As part of our annual employee evaluations, you will help to ensure that all processes are carried out successfully.
  • Business travel management: You will book rail, hotel and air travel for the management and carry out travel expense reports for the management.




Your profil - What you should bring along:

 

  • Education: You have succesfully completed a commercial training.
  • Experience: You already have relevant experience as a management assistant or in comparable positions.
  • Hard skills: You are very familiar with the MS Office packages.
  • Soft skills: Your strong organizational and planning skills and proactive solution orientation as well as your discreet manner and eye for detail set you apart.
  • Languages: You have excellent written and oral German and English skills. French is a plus.

What You Can Expect

The Partnership Management Team at ENGIE oversees multiple partnerships within our ~6GW operational fleet of Wind, Solar, and Battery Storage assets. These assets are situated in both the United States and Canada, and they operate across various Independent System Operators (ISOs), including ERCOT, SPP, PJM, and MISO. The number of partnerships will expand alongside our rapid growth.  We expect to place in service approximately 2 GW/y over the next decade with the expansion into new ISOs and new technologies.

 

The Partnership Management Senior Contracts and Reporting Analyst, located in Houston, TX, will be an integral part of the Partnership Management Team. Every day, in this role, you will support the Partnership Management Team in the maintenance of partner relationships by producing reports and other deliverables as required under the partnership agreements, organizing, and retaining documents per company policy, refining processes, automating recurring tasks to promote scalability of our operations, liaising with cross-functional teams to meet partner requirements, conducting contract review, and ensuring compliance.

 

  • Play a key role in timeliness and accuracy of key deliverables to our partners including yearly budget, board materials, minutes of board meetings, monthly operating reports
  • Coordinate with Partnership Management Team and other departments to respond to partner inquiries
  • Collaborate across the organization to ensure compliance with partnership agreements regarding reporting, budgetary compliance and communication
  • Lead in the implementation of tools to track and automate compliance
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate reporting
  • Develop strong understanding of partnership agreements
  • Effective communication to ensure organizational understanding of key contract terms – including contract briefs
  • Perform ad hoc contract analysis to identify and interpret key contract terms
  • Collaborate with other teams to build out effective document retention policies and electronic file structure
  • Participate in partner board meetings including recording of minutes
  • Assist in and manage the Q&A process to effectively market new projects to potential partners

 

 

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Environmental, Business Administration, Economics or Law
  • Minimum five (5) years relevant work experience in the energy sector (oil, gas, energy, or power) 
  • Demonstrated understanding of power facility operations and economics

Compensation

Salary Range: $74,500 – $114,195 USD annually

  • A minimum seven (7) years’ Safety Management, with three  (3) of those years’ experience in power generation and energy distribution
  • Subject matter expert in OSHA (US) CFR 29 Parts 1910 / 1926
  • Experience with root cause failure analysis tools and their application for recordable events
  • Experience with behavioral science and the psychology behind influencing change
  • Experience in commercial and industrial construction environments
  • You have experience working in environments with  energy distribution systems, new construction of solar and battery storage sites, and facility O&M management
  • You feel confident in supporting H&S database management and providing required monthly statistical reports to ES North America Business Unit (BU) corporate and Business Entity (BE) executives
  • As our Health and Safety Advisor you will conduct regular onsite training, supervision, compliance audits, incident investigations, and safety cultural assessments
  • You know how to as directed, lead serious incident investigations into High Potential (HiPo) incidents, including those that result in a lost time accident 
  • You can identify countermeasures to prevent recurrence and eliminate deviations from the standard
  • You have managed the selection of third-party H&S auditors, consultants and contractors
  • You have experience reviewing contractor safety plans and procedures to assure their standard is equal or more stringent than ES NorAm’s safety criteria as stipulated in the procurement Terms & Conditions

As our Health and Safety Director you will ensure that ENGIE Renewables activities such as, development, constructions, operations and maintenance are done safely, respecting environmental regulations and without physical security incidents in Renewable Global Business Unit (RGBU) in the North American region (USA and Canada). In this role you will set and lead the strategy in Occupational Health and Safety to meet the goals set by the R-GBU organization according to the Group's H&S policies.

You will lead the creation and the guidance of the policies, procedures, instructions, and activity plans for H&S and the Emergency Response Systems for the present and the future. You will actively participate and assist in the execution of the RGBU Integrated Management Systems throughout the region, including contractors and providers. Monitor and evaluate the data, KPIs, execution of action plans, etc., to provide the outcome, efficiency, and enhancements required of this system.

 

Additionally you will, provide guidance and support to all managers and supervisor on H&S issues, and help foster a strong H&S culture in the organization by suggesting activities, training, enhancements in the organization and tools, etc. Manage the H&S Renewables team to oversee, guide and help site managers, supervisors and contractors to achieve the R GBU objectives in the region. You will be tasked with overseeing the budget and resources of the H&S department and also ensuring legal compliance and represent the organization in front of authorities in matters related with HSE.

 

  • Help entities to follow the internal and external H&S audits, and monitors the progress of the action plans that need to be carried out
  • Coordinate the yearly education program on H&S with the various Departments, such as courses, lectures and workshops
  • Direct and empower the entities to carry out the investigation of accidents, incidents, HiPos, and physical security events, compliance with corrective actions
  • Coordinate with Human Resources, to define and implement strategies and actions plans related to physiological health, mental health, and others topics related to the health and the safety of all employees
  • Collaborate with the H&S Managers of Flexible Generation and Energy Solutions GBUs, to provide to the Country Manager the global view and results in terms of H&S for North America as a whole, contributing to have a homogenous H&S culture along the country

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent education where you gain knowledge and or experience with leadership, management, communication, organizational, operational and prioritization skills

  • A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience with demonstrated leadership and management of staff related to Health and Safety in the Energy Industry (Renewables, Thermal, Oil & Gas)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively

Werkomgeving

 

Je werkt als Manager Hydraulica, vanuit ons kantoor in Hasselt ( of Gent), binnen onze afdeling Transport Infrastructuur, de afdeling binnen Tractebel die voornamelijk projecten ontwerpt/studeert met betrekking tot wegen, tramverbindingen, luchthavens, tunnels en bruggen.

Naast het ontwerpen van wegen is het ontwerpen van rioleringssystemen een tweede belangrijk onderdeel, rekening houdend met de klimaatsverandering en een duurzaam gebruik van het (regen)water.

 

Taken

 

  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor een team van enthousiaste “Hydraulica” experten (in Gent en in Hasselt vastgesteld)  die aan het hydraulisch nazicht van onze projecten en aan hydronautstudies voor diverse opdrachtgevers meewerken
  • Je werkt ook mee aan hydraulisch ontwerp en berekeningen van rioleringen, drainagesystemen, enz....
  • Je organiseert de planning van het team in samenspraak met de projectleiders en de Team Managers
  • Je ondersteunt het team en je verzorgt de kwaliteitsborging dankzij jouw sterke people leadership skills
  • Je bent lid van het Management Comité van de afdeling en zoek mee naar oplossingen, innovaties, verbetervoorstellen in eigen expertise en eventueel in andere disciplines, op afdelingsniveau en daar buiten, ..
  • Je voert ontwerpwerkzaamheden uit en blijft op de hoogte van nieuwe technieken en ontwikkelingen in je vakgebied
  • Je communiceert met andere afdelingen en klanten
  • Je ondersteunt het commercieel team bij het opmaken van offertes
  • Je ontwikkelt je technische vaardigheden (Infoworks ICM, Sirio, Mapinfo ...)

 Profiel

 

  • Je hebt een masterdiploma in industriële engineering of een Master of Science in civiele techniek
  • Je hebt 10 jaar ervaring in hydraulische berekeningen van rioleringsmodellen en hebt ervaring in het sturen/begeleiden van medewerkers
  • Uitstekende technische vaardigheden (Infoworks ICM, Sirio, Mapinfo ...)
  • Je moet gestructureerd zijn en zelfstandig kunnen werken, je bent goed in communicatie

What You Can Expect

As the IT– Operational Technology (OT) System Operations Administrator, Advisor in Houston, Texas or ENGIE North America you will be responsible for installing, managing and upgrading systems and servers within the IT-OT environment. The administrator will manage data security, configuring user access, and maintaining the stability of the systems as well as daily management of the installed virtual environment. Every day you will report to the IT-OT System Administrative, Senior Advisor working to maintain proper documentation and reporting to ensure full NERC CIP compliance.

To coincide with compliance work, this person will maintain system configuration and on-going support and management tasks related to the ENGIE NA Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) - Industrial Control System (ICS). To be successful at this job the Systems Administrator will have in-depth knowledge of Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance and the ability to solve complex IT issues while maintaining a high level of security.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or related field of study

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of IT Server Operations, with experience in Operational Technology (OT)/ Industry Control Systems (ICS) being beneficial to the success of the role
  • Robust computer and networking skills, and thorough knowledge of networking concepts, principals, and best practices
  • Expert at managing and supporting Microsoft Windows OS technology, including Microsoft Active Directory
  • Strong knowledge of virtual technology (VMWare, ESXi, and Nutanix AHV virtual platforms)
  • Strong knowledge of OS patching capabilities
  • Comply with ENGIE ICS Security Framework concepts, processes and procedures, or ability to learn within three months
  • General understanding and compliance of NERC CIP standards, process and controls and participate in SCADA Network security assessments and audits is beneficial to the role
  • An understanding of SCADA system communication and protocols such that the network can be secured without affecting reliability

Compensation

Salary Range: $100,905 – $155,043 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

What you’ll do:

Water Operations professionals at ENGIE North America are responsible for:

  • Safe and compliant operation of the University of Iowa Water plant ( A grade IV State of Iowa Surface Water Treatment Plant)
  • Supplying the drinking water to the University campus and Hospital facility
  • Operating the plant machinery, completing rounds assessing physical operating conditions of the equipment, and submitting / scheduling work orders performing water sampling, testing, and logging the sampling activities and reporting of operational conditions
  • After sampling and testing, adjusting and correcting all phases of the water treatment processes safely and efficiently
  • After developing competencies on our specific equipment and processes operators will be involved in instruction and training of other operators in plant procedures and processes related to equipment operation, sampling, testing, and reporting 
  • Other day to day duties include inventorying of chemicals and supplies, light maintenance and upkeep of the facility

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Operators will have a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, and a State of Iowa Department of Natural Resources Class I Water Treatment Certification or Higher
  • Through education or experience the Operator will have developed a strong knowledge of occupational hazards and implementation of safety procedures regarding plant equipment, chemical handling and personal safety
  • You will have developed expertise in Water Treatment and plant operations, including usage of laboratory testing and measuring devices, making adjustments based on testing results  and remote telemetry systems for plant condition monitoring
  • You will have gained experience in evaluating equipment conditions, using complex prints, sketches, or diagrams to complete minor repairs or adjustments, and creating effective reports or work orders for  scheduling or contacting maintenance and management
  • You will have gained experience using Computers, and multiline phone systems, to create or give a detailed actionable verbal or written report to Stakeholders (Customers, Management, Maintenance)
  • Experienced with supervising vendors or contractors working on our equipment, ensuring safety practices in compliance with ENGIE policies and ensuring quality of repair or installation

Pour assurer votre mission voici vos principales activités :

  • Réaliser la maintenance préventive et le dépannage des appareils de pompe à chaleur et climatisation (contrôler le bon fonctionnement de l’installation, remplacement de pièce, diagnostique de panne et mise en œuvre des actions correctives appropriées) dans le plus grand respect des engagements contractuels et des règles relatives à la sécurité des biens et des personnes.
  • Prodiguer des conseils auprès de la clientèle sur l’optimisation de leur appareil
  • Proposer et promouvoir de nouvelles solutions de contrats d'entretien adaptées au besoin du client
