¿Cuál sería tu objetivo?

Coordinar y liderar proyectos de ingeniería de sistemas de Transmisión (Subestaciones en AT,MT y BT, Líneas de AT-MT, etc.),dentro de la Gerencia Técnica, abarcando desde el área de Soporte Técnico al Desarrollo y el área de Ingeniería, según se requiera. Con esta flexibilidad sus actividades podrían corresponder a la coordinación y liderazgo de proyectos durante fase de Desarrollo y/o Implementación, con el fin de asegurar la entrega de estudios y propuestas, realizando recomendaciones de diseño, revisiones de ingeniería, optimizaciones del CAPEX en los diseños, revisiones de cubicaciones, cronogramas, programación y control de las actividades técnicas durante la fase de desarrollo y/o implementación, control y gestión del avance de la ingeniería, validación de equipos primarios previa solicitud de compra, exigencia de cumplimiento  según los deadlines o hitos multables del proyecto, considerando los presupuestos asignados y estándares de calidad, normativa nacional e internacional, seguridad, medio ambiente, costos e indicadores definidos por la compañía.

 

Funciones:

  • Liderar y gestionar el correcto desarrollo y finalización de las Ofertas Técnicas, así como apoyar con la entrega de información técnica a otros stakeholders necesarios para el aseguramiento del cumplimiento de las Bases, así como proporcionar otra información requerida para poder participar en la Licitaciones con Ofertas Vinculantes (Contratistas, compras de terreno, Medio Ambiente, etc.). Todo ello manteniendo coordinación con la Gerencia Técnica y con la Gerencia de Implementación de Proyectos, contribuyendo en el desarrollo y estudio de oportunidades.
  • Gestionar, definir y revisar los proyectos que le sean asignados del portafolio, con el fin de liderar las tareas necesarias durante la fase de desarrollo, implementación o ingenierías Operacionales en su aspecto de ingeniería técnica, utilizando la experiencia interna de la Gerencia Técnica y del grupo Engie, todo lo anterior alineado con la estrategia y metas organizacionales.
  • Coordinar, revisar y/o elaborar bases de licitación para diferentes fines, como por ejemplo: 1) Contratación de proveedores para la elaboración de productos de estudios eléctricos e ingeniería. 2) Contrataciones de Contratistas, en modalidades EPC, EPC light o Multipaquete. Realizando y aportando la descripción del alcance, criterios y otros documentos necesarios para la correcta adjudicación. 3) Procesos de licitaciones públicas. Todo ello controlando y velando por cumplir los plazos establecidos en el cronograma maestro.
  • Trabajar de forma sistemática y según los estándares definidos por la Gerencia Técnica, con el fin de asegurar la correcta trazabilidad y almacenamiento de la información, manteniendo constante interrelación con el área de Proyectos, de Gerencia Técnica, Gerencia de QA&QC, Desarrollo, PMO y demás áreas de la organización, actualizado respecto de los requerimientos y modalidades de ejecución de las distintas licitaciones y proyectos.
  • Gestionar y validar la ingeniería (planos, documentos EE.TT, HCTG, de diseños de SS.EE) de los diferentes proyectos que le sean asignados como  líder de proyecto. Para ello deberá definir las características y requerimientos clave de los planos maestros, así como revisar los productos entregados. Garantizando el cumplimiento normativo, buenas prácticas de ingeniería y optimizando con conocimiento técnico para lograr los objetivos de la compañía asignados a Soporte Técnico al Desarrollo o el Área de Ingeniería.
  • Cumplir con las responsabilidad definidas en reglamento de roles y seguridad RE-01, con el fin de asegurar la aplicación y el cumplimiento de la normativa, reglas y procedimientos internos y externos, contenidos en el programa de seguridad, salud y medio ambiente, en función a las funciones del puesto, y basado a los lineamientos que entrega el IND1, utilizando herramientas de control y reportabilidad definidas por la compañía.

 

Requisitos del cargo:

  • Formación académica: Ingeniería en Ejecución / Civil Eléctrica o afín.
  • Alto conocimiento normativo y del mercado de directa competencia.
  • Alto Conocimiento de Proyectos de Transmisión (calidad de servicio, sistema eléctrico nacional, diseño de Subestaciones eléctricas de AT y MT).
  • Conocimientos en Ingeniería Eléctrica de Transmisión.(Subestaciones en AT,MT y BT, en Líneas de AT-MT, etc.).
  • Experiencia en diseño y coordinación de Subestaciones Eléctricas, en todas sus etapas de Ingeniería (Conceptual, básica, detallada y As built), conocimientos básicos de diseños de Líneas.
  • Administración y Optimización de Recursos.
  • Inglés nivel intermedio.
  • Mínimo 10 años de experiencia en puestos similares, coordinando proyectos eléctricos de transmisión (Subestaciones y/o Líneas AT), con conocimientos  regulatorios, normativos y experiencia en el desarrollo y coordinación de ingeniería de proyectos aplicables al sector eléctrico de media y alta tensión.
  • Experiencia laboral de al menos 15 años en proyectos de transmisión, procesos de licitación, ingeniería, coordinación y evaluación de proyectos de transmisión.

Your mission


As Product Manager - Datacenters within Tractebel's Infrastructure Business Line, working on significant Data Center and infrastructure projects across Belgium, Luxembourg, and France. You will lead the management and implementation of Engineering Project Management Consultancy (EPMC) services. This role involves overseeing all aspects of project delivery, from initial planning and strategy to execution, and final handover. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in the building sector, and a proven track record in managing large, multi-contractor projects.

 

Your key responsibilities 

 

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and external/internal stakeholders through formal (meetings, correspondence) and informal (relationship-building) communication.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and project performance in alignment with Tractebel's standards.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies for the continuous improvement of project activities, including team development, tool implementation, and process optimization.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and report potential risks or challenges to the Manager Buildings Belgium/Project Sponsor.

  • A Master's degree in Engineering or Architecture, ideally with a complementary Master's degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge of the building sector.
  • Minimum of 20 years of relevant experience in the Building sector.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project Manager on large-scale infrastructure construction projects, preferably involving multiple contractors.

ENGIE’s Renewable & Flexible Global Business Unit has a GCC Generation Business Unit headquartered in Dubai. This BU manages the large scale power generation and water desalination in the UAE.

 

The Executive Managing Director (“EMD”) manages the Company, fulfilling the PWPA requirements in compliance with the laws, HSE best practices & Financing Agreements while maximizing the project value to the Shareholders. The EMD is based at a plant site, located between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. As per Shareholders’ agreement, a new EMD will be nominated by ENGIE and take function on 1st July 2025, subject to approval of the other Company Shareholders.

 

Purpose of the Job

The EMD will be responsible for:

  • Managing the Company day-to-day operations, including financial, general administration, human resources and business activities in accordance with the Board of Directors (“BoD”) decisions and the Company business plan.
  • Representing the Company and conduct relationships of the Company with EWEC, the authorities, regulatory agencies, lenders, professional organizations and other stakeholders.
  • Following up proper execution of the commercial and financial contracts and bringing in solutions to any claims, argument or problem that may arise, seeking BoD approval when required.
  • Ensuring that the plant operator fulfills its contractual obligation and performs according to expectations.
  • Ensuring that necessary permits and consents are obtained and maintained.
  • Ensuring that the Company complies with the laws and mandatory guidelines and carefully monitor any changes in law and regulations.
  • Promoting a safe and environmental friendly company culture.
  • Keeping a harmony within the different stakeholders that constitutes the Company and ensuring the reporting role towards them.
  • Ensuring that information to the BoD is prepared and communicated timely and adequately for BoD to take decision and give recommendations.
  • Proposing the Company budget & business plan to BoD approval and achieving the Company targets.
  • Periodically review plan status and risk the Company facing.
  • Preparing and implementing necessary steps for any required business recovery,  changes, potential improvements or eventual PWPA extension.

 

Reporting line

The EMD is seconded by ENGIE to the Company. As ENGIE employee, he reports to ENGIE UAE Asset Manager. In his quality of EMD, he reports to the BoD. The EMD closely interacts with Shareholders’ Asset Managers to benefit from their respective experience and to facilitate interactions with Shareholders’ corporate support functions.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage the day-to-day matters of the Company in accordance to company governance and the Project Agreements (PWPA, OMA, Financing Agreements, etc.).
  • Ensure the Company compliance with the Ethics, Health, Safety and Environment requirements and industry best practices.
  • Conduct and/or coordinate and control all interfaces with client (EWEC), electrical & water transport operators, UAE authorities (in particular DoE & Environmental Authorities).
  • Manage the plant operator in accordance with the O&M Agreement, entertaining a fair and good working relation and fostering plant safety, integrity, availability and actual performance.
  • With the support of the CFO, manage the reporting and relationship with the lenders and their advisors, ensuring lenders covenants and other requirements are met. Deal with eventual refinancing in accordance to BoD/Shareholder’s guidance.
  • Prepare medium and long-term budget forecasts, submit them to BoD for approval, monitor and report budget variances and deviations from forecasts on a regular basis.
  • Ensure operations within approved budgetary limits, approve expenses incurred by subordinates in the course of performing their duties, in accordance with established policies and duties.
  • Report the health of the Company to the BoD and the Shareholders as and when required.
  • Ensure reporting and coordination with Shareholders relevant departments representatives (Asset Managers, legal, financial, tax, HR, internal audit, insurance, etc.)
  • Fostering good industrial relations at the Site and with key local groups, communities and other stakeholders. Define and implement the CSR and Stakeholders Management plans of the Company.
  • Ensure preparedness for emergency incidents, ensure emergency response, manage crisis event and ensure business continuity.
  • Make sure that the insurance coverage and policies are in place and claims procedures are followed properly. Ensure that no action takes place that may void the application of the policies. Coordinate with Insurers, brokers, ENGIE insurance team and, where relevant, the loss adjusters
  • Manage the staff of the Company, ensure that human resources policies are adequately followed (hiring, training, appraisal, etc.).  Set objectives for his team, evaluate personnel on a regular basis and set up salary and benefits policy in line with budget and implement incentive schemes approved by the BoD.
  • Act as an ambassador for cultural changes, ensuring continuous improvement and drive towards operational excellence.
  • Deal with claims and disputes as pertinent, taking full responsibility and coordinating with eventual committee as pertinent.
  • Ensures correct Company governance, updating as required the Company policies and procedures.
  • Ensures Company compliance with the relevant legal requirements and reporting obligations.
  • Coordinate and work in collaboration as required other EMDs.
  • Share return of experience with Shareholders. Ensures application of the best practices as set out by the Shareholders. Lever on the experience of Shareholders while maintaining the confidentiality of the knowledge shared by respective Shareholders.

 

Qualifications

  • University degree.

What You Can Expect

As the Head of Tax, you will be responsible for ENGIE North America’s tax strategy including tax compliance, tax provision and tax planning. You will need financial and business acumen, particularly in renewable energy. This position is based in Houston, TX, and reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

 

  • Ensure efficient, timely, and complete processing of internal and external tax reporting of the company and the partnerships it manages.
  • Provide active support to tax equity structures, advising leadership in strategic decision making with products and jurisdictions new entrants, mergers and acquisitions restructuring and providing tax guidance to ensure business budget and planning accounts for tax assumptions and considerations
  • Identify, assess, and manage tax risk.  Manage federal, state, and local tax audits and disputes, representing the company in interactions with tax authorities.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation, assess their impact on the company and work to implement tax policies that foster the energy transition.
  • Implement and execute tax policies for US and Canada direct and indirect taxes and set tax assumptions as required to be incorporated in project investment models.
  • Provide strategic and execution guidance on transfer pricing and its policies and related documents.
  • Lead legal entity rationalization, tax equity buy-out and application of consolidated return regulations
  • Work with internal cross functional teams especially Finance and Operations ensuring an environment in compliance and integrity
  • Lead automation and digital transformation for the Tax department
  • Communicate complex tax issues and provide business analysis and project management solutions.

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You will have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in accounting, finance, economics or related field.
  • A minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience with various accounting methodologies including IFRS, US GAAP and HLBV for tax reporting, tax planning, research, for federal and state tax as well as direct and indirect compliance.
  • You are CPA certified or equivalent international certifications including Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
  • You have experience in domestic inbound Merger & Acquisition due diligence and integration, and structuring transactions
  • You have experience in Consolidated Corporate and Partnership tax rules and regulations.
  • You have experience in SAP, Fixed asset tax software, Tax research software and Corporate federal income tax compliance.

Compensation

Salary Range: $180,285 – $300,510 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Implement the Storengy UK Safety Management System as defined in the COMAH Operational Safety Report. Ensure compliance with all applicable Regulatory and Statutory requirements.
  • Operate as the Site Main Controller, as defined in the on-site Emergency Plan, for the Gas Plant in the event of an incident.
  • Ensure the members of the Engineering Team understand their SHEQ responsibilities and have the necessary qualifications, training, competence and experience to carry out their duties in a safe and compliance manner.

  • Drive improvements in Process Safety across site. Leads on investigations into gas storage asset incidents / accidents in accordance with the Storengy UK procedure.
  • Manage the activities and work load of the Engineering Team – being accountable for overall system health of the gas storage assets.
  • Support the maintenance strategy for all gas storage assets. Ensure data within the maintenance management system is accurate, complete and aligned with the maintenance plan.
  • Responsible for defining spares policy and spares holding for all gas storage assets – owner of the gas storage asset and spares register.
  • Supporting the maintenance contract specifications and contract delivery, value for money, quality, making recommendations for improvements following contract review.
  • Ensure maintenance and engineering policies are implemented across all the gas storage assets, including asset integrity management. Lead on Continuous Improvement for Maintenance & Engineering Systems.
  • Regularly review the maintenance programme with key stakeholders to ensure the Commercial Team is aware of any equipment outages that will affect availability and/or deliverability.
  • Review, update and approve procedures and site engineering standard based on feedback, audits, regulatory requirements and best practice both internally within Storengy, but also across the wider industry.
  • Consider and implement systems for improving the performance / efficiency / availability of the assets through engineering solutions or improvements via the effective delivery of CAPEX projects in the management of maintenance in order to achieve best practice.
  • Understand and follow the Management of Change (MoC) process – taking the lead of changes to any gas storage assets.
  • Act as Gas Plant Duty Manager as required.
  • Exemplify the Engie Leadership Model and embed its principles within the Engineering Team – leading by example.
  • Conduct performance reviews for all direct reports within the Engineering Team, monitoring progress of personal objectives in accordance with the Storengy UK Appraisal Process. Provide Team Leadership.
  • Develop and monitor training and development plans for the Engineering Team, managing competency assessments for both new and existing members of the teams, looking to up-skill team members where possible.
  • Plan staffing levels within the Engineering Team, working with HR to effectively recruit, select and induct new team members. Help deliver the Storengy UK Vision & Strategy.
  • Facilitate and actively encourage the flow of communication within the Operations, Maintenance and Engineering teams. Seeks regular feedback from all sources in order to drive through safety and operational improvements.
  • Coordinate maintenance and engineering activities through prioritising and delegating appropriately. Carry out safety audits and acceptance evaluations of new equipment or processes.
  • In conjunction with the Head of Operations and Finance Team, forecast annual budget requirements for the gas storage asset maintenance. Monitor spend against budget, and define ways to avoid overspend.
  • Ensure performance data for gas storage assets is monitored and reported on for operational performance through an agreed set of performance measures reported monthly, and use the data to define actions to improve the reliability/availability.

Skills/Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years engineering experience in major accident hazard process plants. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a managerial position.

  • Excellent overall awareness of workplace SHEQ and COMAH Regulatory requirements.

ROLE SUMMARY: 

The Director, Client Acquisition is accountable for revenue generation and growth for new target accounts.  This role is focused on building long-term Client value through developing trusted relationships, contributing to the P&L, and the development and closing on new business  within target regions, and promoting new strategic initiatives that align ENGIE Impact and other ENGIE Business Unit solutions to the client’s needs and values.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

  • Responsible for building, coaching, mentoring and driving a high-performing Sales team that is accountable for attaining individual sales quotas, creating a culture focused on sales execution and accountability.
  • In-depth understanding of ENGIE Impact and ENGIE Group capabilities and portfolio of offerings, with the ability to effectively convey the value of ENGIE Impact’s products and services, explaining their purpose and performance and how they interconnect for maximum value.
  • Must understand and embody the key functions of Sales leader execution - including but not limited to attracting/hiring/and retaining top talent, coaching, leveraging appropriate tools and technology, and performance management.
  • As owner of key ENGIE Impact commercial region leader will set the strategy and execution path for revenue development by leveraging sales leader territory plan executive engagement, and internal ecosystem collaboration with Product, Legal, Marketing, and other cross functional leaders.
  • Develop comprehensive 12-month sales plans with detailed 30, 60, and 90-day sales activities, objectives for department as well as ensuring each team member creates their own plan in order to reach annual sales goals.
  • Responsible for reporting Monthly sales pipeline activities and forecasts, developing mitigation plans when goals are not attained, and implementing performance management plans as necessary for assigned team members.
  • Forecast and track key metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts, Weekly operating rhythm KPI’s (meetings/proposals/Pipeline additions) and performance managing team members who are not meeting sales quotas and/or forecasts.
  • Will participate in the annual review, updating and publishing of commission / variable pay mix for Client Acquisition Managers.  Will coordinate and work with business partners, including but not limited to, Head of Commercial Growth, Compensation and Human Resources in the development and execution, ensuring the plans incent appropriate behavior and drive attainment of ENGIE Impact’s strategic goals and initiatives
  • Adoption and development of best practices for Account penetration and development as a trusted advisor for client stakeholders, with focus to continually nurture relationships with the client’s C-Suite, decision makers and owners, and other business influencers.
  • Plays a pivotal role in contract negotiation and development, aligning ENGIE Impact revenue goals with appropriate pricing and service level agreements.
  • Develop cross functional strategy for account growth and/or retention for a broad solution set, identifying areas of improvement to meet and/or exceed sales quotas.
  • Responsible for the development and execution of the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) for assigned sector. Will work with, Client Acquisition Manager and various business leaders and staff, capturing accurate and timely information to provide clear understanding of each Sales Directors territory plan, review of execution, and go forward strategy and targets for the following 2 quarters. 
  • Collaborates with other ENGIE Impact colleagues and Centers of Excellence to deliver quality services that have a measurable competitive advantage over the current competition.
  • Establish new business opportunities with targeted accounts through networking, qualifying and closing techniques.  Establish buying influences, budgets and purchasing criteria for client.

Your mission

 

  • As Project Manager in our Buildings department you will contribute to our mission every day by playing a crucial role in leading, motivating, and managing a project team of multidisciplinary engineers and draftsmen for your projects. 
  • Your key responsibilities  
  • Ensure respect of budget, timing, and quality of engineering services and works on site.
  • Make necessary decisions regarding MEP construction (HVAC, electrical systems, etc.).
  • Report project progress on a monthly basis.
  • Participate in the technical design of projects (mainly in preliminary design).
  • Enhance an integrated design process across different disciplines.
  • Prepare and submit tenders and contracts with the sales team.
  • Collaborate constructively with external partners (architects, consultancies, subcontractors, contractors).

 
We would love to hear from people with  

 

  • Master’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management in MEP works.
  • Experience with competitive bidding, conceptual design, and project financials.
  • Fluency in French and professional level English.

 
Who you are   

 

  • Generalist with a background in MEP or Architectural engineering.
  • Experienced in multidisciplinary projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Skilled in communication and creating good contacts with architects.
  • Client-oriented, flexible, and a team player.
