Ta mission
En tant que stagiaire Assistance aux Ingénieurs Projets dans notre département nucléaire, tu contribueras tous les jours à notre mission en nous aidant en tant qu’appui au pilotage de projet nucléaire.


Rattaché au chef de projet, le stagiaire assistera un ou plusieurs Ingénieurs Projets, dans le cadre des projets du Grand Carénage des centrales nucléaires EDF.
Il appuiera les Ingénieurs Projets dans le pilotage de leurs affaires (principalement des modifications à apporter dans les CNPE en exploitation) et contribuera à leur bon déroulement, d’un point de vue technique, planning, contractuel et financier.


Pour cela, tu vas t’impliquer au sein de l’équipe sur les missions suivantes :

 

  • Piloter et coordonner les acteurs des affaires.
  • Organisation de réunions de « pilotage », de cadrage, de coordination ou d’avancement nécessaires au bon déroulement de ses affaires.
  • Pilotage et animation technique de l’ensemble des intervenants sur l’affaire.
  • Suivre le planning et les coûts des affaires.
  • Définir avec le planificateur des indicateurs pertinents de reporting mensuels.
  • Rédiger des livrables réglementaires (selon la notabilité de la modification) ou suivre l’évolution de documents réglementaires qui seraient potentiellement impactés (RDS, RGE(III, VI et IX), RASA…).
  • Rédiger des éléments de reporting hebdomadaires et mensuels.
  • Gérer l’analyse de risques des affaires.
  • Gérer la relation avec les fournisseurs.
  • Suivi technique des fournisseurs et pilotage des chargés d’études.
  • Piloter les contrats spécifiques aux affaires.
  • Coordonner et gérer les interfaces entre les équipes Etudes et les équipes Projet ainsi que les différents contributeurs des affaires.
  • Capitaliser sur le retour d’expérience lié aux affaires.

Your mission
Tractebel has been appointed as the Project Management Consultant (PMC) by a leading technology company for the construction of a data center in Belgium.
This PMC role includes the management of the construction site which includes the development and roll-out and daily implementation and supervision of the construction site safety management system. This process is led by the construction site HSE manager in close collaboration with the construction site manager. The construction site HSE manager has the lead of a team of safety supervisors/coaches.

Your key responsibilities

  •  Develop and continuously update the site HSE management system, including plans, instructions, and emergency response procedures.
  • Coordinate and advise the site management team on all HSE-related processes during construction and commissioning activities.
  • Lead efforts to foster HSE awareness within the PMC team, ensuring collective management of key HSE topics.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for HSE issues, liaising with internal teams and principal contractors.
  • Investigate incidents, including accidents, near-misses, and dangerous occurrences, to ensure appropriate corrective actions.
  • Monitor the Permit to Work (PTW) process and ensure compliance with site safety standards through regular inspections and audits.
  • Provide HSE training and support to the site team and contractors, ensuring the proper implementation of the HSE management system. 

We would love to hear from people with

  • A Master’s degree in engineering / Architecture supplemented with a qualification as prevention advisor level 1 / safety coordinator level A or international equivalent such as NEBOSH – diploma, certificate / NCRQ Certificate, diploma or NVQ Level 6 is a must.
  • At least 10 years’ experience in a similar function.
  • Proficiency in English, spoken and written.

Your mission  

 

As Design Engineer in our Core & Fuel Studies department you will contribute to our mission everyday by playing a crucial role. 
The "Core and Fuel Studies" Group within the “Nuclear Processes" Competence Centre is a multidisciplinary team working both on the nuclear fuel and the preparation of the dismantling activities. As such the Core & Fuel Studies Group is in charge of the Tractebel activities related to the fuel cycle, core design, safety evaluation and core operational support for nuclear reactors for the Belgian Utility.  The team performs criticality and shielding calculation for the spent fuel, as well as activation calculations in support of the waste characterization in preparation of the dismantling activities.
To manage these activities the group is subdivided into three operational subgroups:
i)   Cycles Studies, incorporating Cycle Studies activities
ii)  Neutronic studies & Tools: incorporating all activities related to Criticality, Shielding, Activation, Residual Heat and Fuel Data Base(s)
iii) Core Multiphysics, Methods & Support, encompassing cross-cutting activities and common projects within the range of Core & Fuel Studies expertise
 

Your key responsibilities  

The team is currently looking for a Design Engineer.

While focused on neutron studies, the job includes a wide range of applications:

  • Engineering studies in the domain of core and fuel physics using industry-standard methods and simulation codes;
  •  Neutron activation studies;
  • Radiation transport and shielding calculations;
  • Spent fuel characterization;
  • Fluence, source terms and decay heat calculations;
  • Safety-criticality assessments;
  • Various neutronic studies related to spent fuel casks;
  • Writing Engineering / synthesis reports of your analyzes.

 
 
We would love to hear from people with  
 

  • You have a good theoretical background of nuclear systems and core physics phenomena.
  • You are keen to develop a technical expertise and ready to invest yourself in the physics simulation codes and methods.
  • You're eligible to obtain authorization of the competent authorities to work with Monte Carlo code. A practical proficiency in neutronics and Monte Carlo calculations would be an asset.
  • You have proficiency in IT (with an emphasis python programming), or are willing to learn this quickly.
  • You are fluent in Dutch or French, with a good knowledge of English. And you are able to use these languages to write clear technical synthesis reports and for easy communication.
  • You are a civil specialized in nuclear energy or nuclear physics

Your mission

 

As a BIM Engineer in our Infrastructures department you will contribute to our mission every day by playing a crucial role in developing and optimizing structural designs through advanced 3D modelling and parametric approaches. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and modelers to deliver innovative infrastructure projects, such as bridges, tunnels, roads, and public spaces. 

 

Your key responsibilities  
 

  • Lead and develop 3D structural models for infrastructure projects, including bridges, tunnels, and civil constructions, using Tekla Structures.
  • Implement parametric design approaches with tools like Rhinoceros and Grasshopper to optimize project efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate models across different engineering disciplines and ensure integrated project designs.
  • Participate in the technical design of complex infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards.
  • Ensure accurate and detailed modeling of reinforcements and structural elements in line with project specifications.
  • Engage with external partners, clients, and colleagues to provide constructive input and maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest BIM technologies and practices, continuously improving the design process through innovation and technical expertise.

 
We would love to hear from people with 

 

  • A degree as industrial engineer.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in BIM Engineering and scripting.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, Tekla Structures, Rhinoceros and Grasshopper.

TRACTEBEL is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer specializing in the design of High Voltage (HV) substations. The candidate must have expertise in preparing design plans that represent the complete infrastructure of a substation, in compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations, and the requirements of European grid operators. The candidate should also be able to represent the associated civil engineering works, with ensuring conformity with the project's technical specifications (standards, best practices, etc.).
 

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Design of High / Medium / Low Voltage Substation Plans :
    • Produce 2D and 3D technical drawings of electrical substations, including the representation of electromechanical equipment (structures, gantries, circuit breakers, disconnectors, power transformers, surge arresters, instrument transformers - CT, VT, etc.).
    • Design cable routing (including accessories), gantry and pylon layout plans, and equipment arrangement according to project specifications.
    • Design the grounding network and associated foundations for the equipment and buildings to be installed.
  2. Compliance with Grid Operator Requirements and Standards:
    • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical standards, such as the minimum safety distances between equipment, protection zones against electrical arcs, and fire safety standards.
    • Familiarity with safety regulations and requirements imposed by grid operators or power producers.
  3. Design of Control Buildings:
    • Prepare plans for substation control buildings, including the layout of control cabinets, communication systems, protection, and measurement equipment.
    • Account for specific needs related to electrical safety, access, handling, ventilation, fire protection, and ergonomic requirements for operating personnel.
  4. Establish Material Lists Based on Prepared Plans:
    • Develop detailed material lists in accordance with the finalized designs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (Bac+2 to Bac+3) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience as a designer in the field of High Voltage (HV) substations.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in drawing software (Microstation, AutoCAD, or similar).
    • Strong understanding of substation layout concepts and associated equipment (circuit breakers, disconnectors, CT, VT, transformers, GIS, etc.), grounding networks, foundations, and buildings.
    • Knowledge of the principles for arranging protection equipment and control systems.
    • In-depth knowledge of standards related to HV substations (safety standards, minimum distances, etc.).

Additional Skills:

  • Strong team spirit, detail-oriented, flexible, results-oriented, and ability to communicate effectively with project engineers.
  • Demonstrates proactivity in design.

Werkomgeving

Het team “Sustainability, Environment and Policy” is een team van consultants binnen de Tractebel familie. Dit team ondersteunt zowel externe klanten als andere afdelingen van Tractebel (Nucleair, Energie, Infrastructuur…) met advies over duurzame ontwikkeling en milieu.

Onze vergunningenexperten begeleiden de klant vanaf de haalbaarheidsfase tot finale afronding. Hierbij helpen ze de projecten van onze klanten conform te maken aan de wetgeving, conform te maken en helpen ze de milieuprestaties van deze projecten te optimaliseren. Onze community van vergunningenexperten omvat Vlaamse, Brusselse en Waalse experten. De Vlaamse experten ondersteunen projecten in Vlaanderen – maar teamwerk over de gewestgrenzen heen is mogelijk.

Onze junior collega’s worden door meer ervaren collega’s begeleid in het projectwerk. Zij worden ondersteund bij hun ontwikkeling, bij hun netwerking en in functie van hun algemene welbevinden op de werkvloer.

 Jouw functie:

 

  • Je werkt mee aan projecten in de volgende gebieden: voornamelijk nucleaire, conventionele en hernieuwbare energie; industrie en infrastructuur.
  • Je zult voornamelijk werken aan projecten in Vlaanderen. Afhankelijk van jouw talenkennis en expertise kan je ook meewerken aan projecten in Brussel, Wallonië of Noord-Frankrijk.
  • Je staat in voor de opmaak van de aanvraag van de omgevingsvergunningen voor exploitatie van ingedeelde inrichtingen of activiteiten – en/of omgevingsvergunningen voor stedenbouwkundige handelingen en vegetatiewijzigingen. Je begeleidt onze klanten om hun milieunaleving te waarborgen en stelt verbeteringen voor. Hierbij word je gesteund door een ervaren Tractebel collega.
  • Je bent op de hoogte van de juridische aspecten van de omgevingsvergunningen of je bent bereid je in deze materie in te werken
  • Met de steun van onze ervaren collega’s werk je aan innovatieve oplossingen;
  • Je communiceert met andere project/disciplineleden en met de vergunningverlenende overheden en stakeholders. Geleidelijk krijg je meer verantwoordelijkheid bij het beheren van contacten met collega’s, klanten, partners en overheden.

Profiel

 

  • Je hebt een diploma wetenschappen (bachelor of master). Een opleiding milieucoördinator A is een sterke troef.

  • Je bent geboeid door het aspect “omgevingsvergunning”

ATRIBUIÇÕES DO CARGO:

 

  • Apoiar o desenvolvimento de negócios e a preparação de ofertas para Data Centers e outras instalações de infraestrutura crítica.
  • Colaborar com a equipe de design e as equipes principais do Cliente para desenvolver, implementar e gerenciar o design de missões críticas, desde a base de design (BOD) até a finalização dos documentos Issued for Construction (IFC) para novos projetos, upgrades de infraestrutura e retrofits na região.
  • Coordenar os trabalhos de engenharia com outras entidades da TRACTEBEL (na Europa, América Latina, Ásia, etc.).
  • Revisar, comentar e aprovar documentos de design do projeto para garantir a completude e consistência em relação ao Contrato, aos requisitos do Projeto, atendimento às normas e às boas práticas.
  • Orientar e coordenar os trabalhos entre nossos projetistas e desenhistas.
  • Prever os trabalhos e entregas, comparando as estimativas com o real e definindo as ações corretivas apropriadas, se necessário.
  • Definir as diretrizes técnicas de design e identificar as interfaces internas e externas.
  • Auxiliar o gerente de projeto na gestão de subcontratados e nas reclamações do proprietário.

 

COMPETÊNCIAS NECESSÁRIAS:

 

  • Experiência em instalações de infraestrutura crítica (preferencialmente em Data Centers);
  • Experiência com projetos, especialmente com gerenciamento de projetos;
  • Sólidos conhecimentos em projetos de climatização e utilidades;
  • Inglês avançado.

 

COMPETÊNCIAS DESEJÁVEIS:

 

  • Obter o certificado Accredited Tier Designer (ATD - Uptime) ou Certified TIA-942 DC Consultant (CTDC).

 

FORMAÇÃO:

 

  • Graduação completa em Engenharia Elétrica e/ou Mecânica;
