Che cosa farai?

Nel Ruolo di Proposal & Bidding Specialist riporterai al Proposal and Sales Support Construction, e ti occuperai dello sviluppo di progetti d’offerta e di quotazioni per lavori ed installazioni in modalità Chiavi in Mano per il settore terziario ed industriale. In particolare collaborerai  alla predisposizione di offerte per la realizzazione di datacenter, sistemi riscaldamento e raffrescamento industriale, UPS e gruppi elettrogeni, stazioni e sottostazioni elettriche, distribuzione elettrica, reti di distribuzione calore, fotovoltaici, piccoli interventi edili, rifacimenti generici e demolizioni.

Quali saranno le tue responsabilità?

  • Analizzare le richieste del cliente privato, identificare le possibili soluzioni tecniche e sviluppare le stime economiche per l’installazione di impianti in ambito industriale e terziario. In particolare analizzare i documenti delle gare di appalto in modalità Chiavi in Mano e analizzare le specifiche fornite dal cliente
  • Elaborare, congiuntamente con tutte le funzioni aziendali, quotazioni e documenti di offerta (lettere di proposta, cronoprogrammi, organigrammi di commessa, quotazione…)
  • Svolgere sopralluoghi tecnici per identificare i principali vincoli e caratteristiche degli interventi oggetto di quotazione
  • Interagire, nell’ambito delle proprie attività, attivamente con le funzioni di engineering, sales, operations, procurement, legal and insurance.
  • Collaborare internazionalmente con ENGIE Gruop per lo sviluppo di progetti d’offerta multi-sito e multi-Country
  • Individuare e analizzare proposte e soluzioni innovative in linea con le esigenze e richieste del cliente

Che cosa porterai in Engie?

  • Laurea in Ingegneria, preferibilmente in ambito Meccanico/Elettrico/Energetico/Edile ed esperienza nel settore
  • Conoscenza tecnica e funzionale degli impianti, con esperienza almeno triennale nella progettazione/conduzione/installazione di impianti meccanici, elettrici e/o civili
  • Buona capacità nella stesura di elaborazioni economiche e relazioni tecniche
  • Capacità di lavorare in team e per scadenze temporali
  • Disponibilità ad effettuare brevi trasferte sul territorio nazionale
  • Conoscenza della normativa vigente in materia
  • Buona conoscenza dei principali applicativi Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project)
  • Requisito preferenziale sarà la conoscenza della lingua inglese (scritta e parlata)

What You Can Expect

As our North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Operations & Planning Compliance Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for working with Operations teams to implement and enhance ENGIE’s NERC Compliance Program and sustain compliance with all Reliability Standards. This position can be based out of the Houston, TX or Chicago, IL office and will be supporting assets in both US and Canada. Your daily task will include developing and implementing compliance programs and internal controls, leading internal compliance assessments, reviewing compliance evidence and developing technical programs to support compliance for ENGIE’s North America Renewables fleet. Additionally, you will contribute to the NERC compliance program by implementing, improving and auditing readiness for a growing portfolio of renewable energy assets within TRE, MRO, WECC, NPCC, and SERC areas.

 

  • This position will have specific emphasis placed on the Operations and Planning group of standards, including conducting or managing technical studies and compliance activities for FAC, EOP, PRC, and MOD Reliability Standards.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for NERC Compliance within the Renewables Operations Engineering team and ensure that all engineering activities are aligned with compliance requirements
  • Lead the development and implementation of new or improved internal controls to support compliance in collaboration with internal SMEs and technical consultants
  • Monitor ongoing developments in Bulk Electric System reliability such as new or revised standards and identify the activities required to maintain compliance
  • Develop and support systems and processes for managing compliance evidence and participate in audits as a technical SME
  • Take responsibility for the timely completion of projects assigned while meeting all project quality and budget objectives

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline; In lieu of the educational requirement, we will accept a minimum of 5 years of experience working with NERC compliance

  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in NERC compliance;
  • Must have experience performing or reviewing NERC Compliance studies or evidence for one or more of the following: PRC-004, 005, 019, 024, 025, and 027
  • Must have a strong knowledge of one or more engineering topics related to compliance, for example relay testing, protection coordination, power system modelling, or substation equipment
  • Deep understanding of NERC standards and regulations
  • Knowledgeable in one or more reliability standard areas (PRC, MOD, FAC,etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A minimum of ten (10) years of industry experience and 3 years of technical knowledge base of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) design and deployment focused on Li-Ion technology

What You Can Expect

As a Power Grid Modeling and Forecasting Advisor, you will report to Congestion Trading Director and will develop long term grid scenarios for the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) footprint and forecast nodal price curves using production cost modeling tools.

 

  • Develop and execute appropriate scenario studies pertinent to the period of study and systematically analyzing the results
  • Execute production cost models - Day-Ahead Locational Market Clearing Prices Analyzer (Dayzer) by systematically analyzing and updating the inputs as appropriate
  • Develop systematic and repeatable approach to analyze and form fundamental views with respect to macro-trends
  • Analyze and determine drivers of Day Ahead and Real Time congestion market outcomes based on macro-fundamentals (supply, demand, renewables) and mirco-fundamentals (specific transmission and generation outage impacts, bids, facility limits)
  • Identify model gaps by calibrating the model results to market outcomes and determine appropriate solutions
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to the enhance fundamental trading
  • Participate in Independent System Operator (ISO) meetings as appropriate and assess commercial impacts
  • Collaborate with IT personnel to maintain and improve relevant tools
  • Develop and maintain dispatch and flow models, communicating fundamental developments and views to stakeholders
  • Build models to track market fundamentals and regularly benchmark against actualizations

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Master’s degree in which you completed courses in relevant disciplines (Engineering/Business/Finance)
  • A minimum of seven years professional experience
  • A minimum of five years of grid planning or wholesale electricity market experience in ERCOT or relevant ISO
  • Strong understanding of power grid optimization, powerflow shift factors, line-outage distribution factors and contingency analysis
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Clear and effective communicator
  • Willingness to engage in dialogue and debate with colleagues
  • Proficient in coding such as Structured Query Language (SQL) and Python
  • Knowledge of statistical techniques

JOUW UITDAGING als Procesoperator

Als procesoperator ben je verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse uitbating en opvolging van onze WKK-installaties bij onze klanten. Met als voornaamste doel: een veilige en efficiënte uitbating te garanderen.  

 

Technische opvolging:

  • Je stelt de installatie (transformatoren, turbines, elektrische borden etc) veilig ter voorbereiding van onderhoudswerken.
  • Je start een installatie na onderhoud opnieuw op.
  • Je analyseert storingen en bedrijfsproblemen, en doet hiervoor de gepaste verbeteringsvoorstellen.
  • Je bent de eerste contactpersoon voor de industriële klanten.
  • Je werkt in opdracht van de shiftleider en rapporteert aan hem.

 

Administratieve opvolging:

  • Opmaken van verbetervoorstellen, je werkt mee aan stilstand -en incidentverslagen.

What You Can Expect

As our Downstream Origination Director, you will be pivotal in broadening our base of downstream customers with sustainability goals, driving ENGIE's mission to reduce our portfolio's carbon intensity. Additionally, you will build and lead an origination team of two (2) members to pursue and secure business opportunities in renewable energy supply.

 

  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective customers seeking complex renewable energy solutions
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on Data Centers
  • Create and implement strategic plans to approach and capture key customers within the market
  • Collaborate closely with upstream origination, structuring, risk management, and credit departments to ensure smooth transaction execution
  • Lead negotiations with customers and partners, leveraging strong commercial acumen to secure and close deals, while also nurturing and managing key stakeholder relationships

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in the renewable energy industry or related field
  • At least five (5) years in a leadership role developing and managing customer relationships and teams
  • You are adept at understanding and negotiating complex transactions within renewable energy markets, staying informed about trends and regulations
  • You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, effectively conveying complex concepts to diverse audiences
  • You hold a proven track record in strategic planning and execution, identifying and seizing market opportunities
  • You have excellent problem-solving skills, working effectively with internal teams to align business strategies and ensure transaction success, alongside excellent problem-solving abilities

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy with a minimum of four (4) days working in office. For candidates residing in remote cities, occasional travel to our Houston, TX office location is required, with a minimum of 1 week per month
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 20% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

 

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $146,300 – $224,135 USD annually 

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

is looking for a person for position of:

Green Products Structurer

location: Katowice

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Developing lasting commercial relationships with renewable energy producers, managing existing contracts, and expanding the portfolio of managed renewable assets, thereby contributing to the energy transformation of our clients.
  • Conducting analyses of the electricity market, customers, and competition regarding offered products and services, managing databases and information sources in this area, providing forecasting services for the operation of renewable installations, and cooperating with DSOs/TSOs.
  • Monitoring existing and developing new solutions for commercial services and market access for renewable energy that meet the needs of upstream and downstream clients (PPA energy purchase agreements, products for BESS energy storage), as well as ENGIE's internal development teams working on renewable asset development.
  • Monitoring and managing market and operational risk for the aforementioned products.
  • Participating in the development/improvement of contract templates in close cooperation with the legal department and the sales and trading departments.
  • Internal group collaboration, mainly with central teams located in Brussels and Paris, dealing with structured product trading and portfolio and risk management.

 

Candidate profile:

  • Higher education, preferred fields: mathematics, technical, economics.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar position in the energy sector – preferably in energy trading.
  • Knowledge of electricity market mechanisms in Poland and Europe.
  • Ability to work in a team in an international environment and interact with very diverse professional profiles (clients, traders, analysts, sales, support functions, etc.).
  • High interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication.
  • Analytical skills and the ability to manage large datasets.
  • Good knowledge of IT/IS applications and tools, especially practical skills in applying new IT solutions in market and portfolio analytics.
  • Ability to organize work and effectively assimilate new areas of knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Polish and English at an advanced level.
