What You Can Expect

As our Integration & Transformation Project Management Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in managing a variety of projects, including post-acquisition integrations for companies acquired by ENGIE North America, divestitures, and internal transformation initiatives. You will serve as a key liaison both internally and externally, collaborating with leadership and team members to establish guiding principles, goals, objectives, and business priorities to ensure successful project execution. Additionally, you will be responsible for capturing and documenting lessons learned to drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across the organization. This position is based in Houston, TX, and reports to the Head of Integration & Transformation.

 

  • Support Cross-Functional Projects: Assist project teams and steering committees through integration, divestiture, and transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and priorities
  • Financial Process Management: Help manage financial and business processes, ensuring compliance with accounting rules, and supporting procedural controls across projects
  • Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with leadership to define and communicate strategic objectives, coordinating comprehensive project plans, execution, and KPI tracking
  • Risk and Issue Management: Identify, escalate, and assist in resolving risks and challenges during project execution, ensuring timely mitigation
  • Budget and Performance Tracking: Track and report on budgets, costs, synergies, and other key metrics to leadership and the Project Steering Committee
  • Best Practices Implementation: Implement and continuously improve project processes, tools, and best practices from the NORAM and Group IMO office, while staying updated on industry trends and innovations

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You hold a Bachelor in Business, or engineering with experience in managing projects with IT scope or related field

  • A minimum seven (7) years of relevant work experience or related field
  • You are well-organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously with a proactive mindset
  • You have strong interpersonal communication skills and project management experience, including integration processes
  • You are proficient in MS Office Suite, including Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and have knowledge of MS PowerBI
  • You have experience in project planning, scheduling, task tracking, budgeting, and forecasting
  • You have knowledge of ERP systems like SAP, MD365, and digital finance applications, with experience interfacing with IT teams

 

 

Additional Details

Compensation

Salary Range: $112,000 – $157,500 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

What You Can Expect

As an Augmented Maintenance Project Support (AMPS) Technician, your role involves providing onsite support services in the Central area of Richmond, VA and surrounding areas. You’ll be responsible for project commissioning, inspection, troubleshooting, analysis, maintenance, repair, and upgrades of operational assets. These assets include wind turbines, solar panels, BESS storage technology, and high or medium voltage substations. Your focus will be on optimizing generation availability, improving operational reliability, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Reporting to the Director of Field Services (AMPS), you’ll deliver reactive, predictive, and preventive maintenance support, adhering to NERC requirements for inspection, testing, and documentation. This encompasses a wide range of equipment, from wind turbines and solar inverters to batteries, weather stations, PV arrays, breakers, transformers, regulators, capacitors, and reactors.

 

As an active participant in the behavior-based safety program, ensure that all team members and contractors comply with safety procedures and task-oriented job safety analyses. Communicate and enforce site safety rules through Site-Specific Orientations, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and meetings. Demonstrate procedural compliance in site operation and maintenance by following established procedures. Facilitate daily work, including report production. Inspect, operate, and repair site equipment both directly and remotely. Coordinate High Voltage (HV) switching and curtailments with local utilities and the Independent System Operator (ISO). Maintain site equipment to the highest standards for availability, reliability, efficiency, and profitability. Use work planning skills, schedule activities, and follow up to ensure work conformance. Conduct routine inspections, prepare oil analysis samples, and use safety tools and personal protective equipment (PPE). Manage on-site work coordination among contractors and vendors, support technology upgrades, and maintain cleanliness. Comply with contractual and legal obligations impacting plant operation. Provide equipment operation training to contractors and other site employees. Consistently apply Job Safety Plan techniques, hazard controls, and permits to work (LOTO) when addressing plant abnormalities and equipment failures. Utilize computerized Work Order, Purchase Requisition, and Receiving software.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum two (2) years diploma in a technical program where you have learned AC/ DC electrical theory, understand reading blue prints and schematics, industrial electrical equipment including breaker, disconnects, transformers, contactors or Equivalent Military or Trade school
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in Solar generation sites, Battery Energy Storage Systems, (BESS), Wind generation sites, Utility scale power plants, Sub-station POI, or Controls & Instrumentation Maintenance. Renewables Solar and BESS construction experience or commissioning power plants a plus
  • HV Experience. Trades qualifications and certifications acceptable: (HV Lineman, Electrician, Substation Technician, or Controls Technician)

What You Can Expect

What You Can Expect

As the Project Controls Advisor you will work within the Finance and Project Controls team within the Flexible Generation Business Unit. You will interface and work collaboratively on cross-functional internal and external project teams and corporate support functions to provide cost control services throughout the entire duration of the project life cycle. Every day you will be primarily responsible for cost estimating, cost tracking and control, risk analysis, and reporting for the assigned projects. Every day in this role you will lead project control processes for Flexible Generation development, construction and operational projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for budget and control development expenditures and capital expenditures for the complete pipeline of projects.

 

 

  • Ensure correct budget representation in finance and projects controls systems and smooth budget handover to subsequent owners through the projects’ lifecycle
  • Be the responsible within Flexible Generation for finance processes through the preparation of consolidated budgets for investment approvals, annual budget and business plan, and financing processes (tax financings, sell-down and partnerships)
  • Prepare monthly cash flow reports for the complete portfolio of projects, comparing approved budgets and up-to-date best estimates incl. monthly distribution
  • Facilitate financial optimization through DEVEX capitalization upon projects viability, time-writing, implement robust WBS process
  • Support Project Managers and Project Management Office budget management, in tracking progress against the project baseline budget at all time
  • Identify, monitor and actively control risks to project budgets
  • Assist with vendor requirements, invoice approvals, purchase orders, change events, and contingency management, facilitate systems and data integration, processes automatization
  • Keep robust and standardized tools, clean and tidy record keeping easily transferable to any internal and external stakeholder

 

What You’ll Bring

 

  • Bachelor of Science in Business, Project or Construction Management, or in related field, or bachelor’s degree equivalency with practical experience and knowledge of relevant technical systems
  • A minimum 7 years in projects, cost controls or any financial and controlling role
  • Advanced Proficiency with Microsoft Excel to create customized cost estimating and analysis tools using data import, sorting, and filtering, pivot tables, graphs/charts, and custom formulas
  • Sense of accountability and proactivity in anticipating and addressing potential issues, in close collaboration with the managerial line
  • Detail-oriented individual with the ability to forecast, pursue and investigate project cost over/underruns and delays

  • Develop unit pricing based on production rates and subcontractor input
  • Review and incorporate historical data from estimates, cost data, indexes, subcontracts, productivity analysis reports, etc. into unit and worker-hour figures
