Job responsibilities:

  • Support the construction of Data Centers from design, testing, commissioning, installation and delivery.
  • Collaborate with Engineers to test, validate, install, evaluate the performance of electrical systems as per the design specification and to calibrate based on performance models.
  • Conducting inspections to check the functionality, performance, and safety of the data center systems and equipment.

  • Troubleshooting and resolving any issues or defects that arise during the testing and commissioning process.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot equipment faults after project handover.

 

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical engineering or related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in data center testing and commissioning or a similar role.
  • Knowledge and skills in data center systems and equipment, such as server, storage, network, power, cooling, fire protection and security.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, with good communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. achelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Energy Systems, Systems Engineering or related field).
  • Basic understanding of infrastructure systems (power generation for renewable energy or electrical systems for data centers)

Main objective

The main objective of the Head of Delivery GCC (UAE, Oman, Qatar) is to ensure the safe and effective delivery of construction, demolition and extension projects. This includes handover from business development through to construction/demolition activities, commissioning and resolution of construction/demolition related issues. It also includes, support during O&M readiness preparation and   handover to Asset Management (Operations) to ensure optimum risk and profitability profile.

 

Reporting line

The Head of project GCC  will report hierarchically to the Managing Director GCC and functionally to the Head of project Generation International.

The CEO’s of companies with greenfield projects will report to the Head of Project GCC In all other projects, the construction director will report functionally to the Head of project GCC.

 

Key Health and Safety Accountabilities:

  • Assure compliance with regional and/or national HSE legislation, Engie Group Rules (GR) and Generation international corporate governance documents, specifically GR09 H&S in Industrial Projects, DOP025 H&S Risk Management for industrial Projects, DOP032 Guidelines for DDDR (Decommissioning, Dismantling, Demolition, Rehabilitation), GR02 Health and Safety with Regards to Contractors and GR14 Promoting a Fair Culture.
  • Ensure that Project Management (Execution) Plans describe the H&S strategy, organization and objectives, including leading and lagging KPIs for projects in consultation with the HSE line.
  • Ensure that Project HSE Risk Registers are developed, regularly reviewed, and updated where necessary during the life cycle of the project. 
  • Ensure that systems are in place for the recording, reporting, trending, analysis and action management of SIF (Serious Injuries and Fatalities), accidents, HiPos and near misses.
  • Demonstrate HSE leadership commitment by visibility and actions including regular Management Safety Visits (MSV) and Joint Safety Tours (JST) with contractors to develop and promote a strong ‘One Safety’ culture.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • In coordination with the MD GCC and the head of Project manage the process to recruit and manage the projects’ Construction Director/Manager (and CEOs, in the case of greenfield SPV)
  • Ensure that Project Risk Registers are developed, regularly reviewed, and updated where necessary during the life cycle of the project. 
  • In case of brownfield or demolition projects, coordinate with Asset Management for leading the construction aspects of the project companies.
  • Closely monitor, control the performance, and in coordination with Generation international PMO provide guidance to all R& F-GBU industrial projects  under execution across GCC including greenfield, brownfield and decommissioning projects.
  • Oversight the works performed by each project site team and provide support to ensure performance and compliance. Act as functional report of the Construction Director or CEO.
  • In narrow coordination with the Generation international PMO and Generation international HSE team ensure projects compliance with Group, BU rules and procedures, particularly in the areas of HSE, CSR and Ethics.
  • Follow project management methods and tools in accordance with the rules and guides issued by the Group (IND1, PRM, GR02, GR09, PMI Guide, CSR, E&C Contract Guidelines, etc.).
  • In coordination with Generation international PMO organize the collection and sharing of « Return of Experience » (REX) / Lessons Learned.
  • Promote and develop the project management culture in collaboration with the Generation international PMO office. 
  • Develop a stakeholder managements plan and Liaise with external stakeholders: partners, off-takers, agencies, lenders…
  • Coordinate with GCC asset management and GCC O&M management.
  • In coordination with the MD GCC and head Project Generation international, define  the execution strategy and structuring assumptions of a project during the development phase, including the contracting strategy, the management of risks and stakeholders.
  • Support the identification, mobilization and development of resources and talents for projects execution positions within GCC.

•            Review of monthly and weekly project reports and monitor and help implementation of action to resolve problem areas and to unlock upsides.

  • In coordination with the Generation international PMO support the implementation of the project monthly STEERCOs and ad-hoc meetings.
  • Assure full compliance of STEERCOs instruction.  

•            Coordinate within ENGIE to benchmark best practices, update and convert them from guidelines into tools/tool templates or guidelines for Project Co.

•            Organize the hand-over to the project Co. and the O&M Company.

            Manage the LNTP Agreement and any other early requirement in the projects (if any) until the Project Company can do so.

•            Coordinate inputs to the Annual Risk Review from all Project Cos in construction.

•            Attend or be represented at all Board Meetings and Audit Committees of Project Co under construction and their respective Holding Co as applicable.

  • Receive from Project Co under construction the budget forecasts according to the calendar and format agreed from time to time between Project Co and Finance Support function and review/challenge the same.

 

Qualification/Experience           

  • Engineering background or equivalent.
  • 20 years of business experience, with at least 10 years in construction and 5 years in the energy or water sector.
  • Proven experience in general and team/resource management.
  • Experience in the GCC is an asset.
  • NEBOSH IGC 1 & 2 Certification.

 

Business Understanding

  • Construction and Services contract.
  • Contract and business structures for power project financed assets.
  • Risk areas for cost, schedule and quality.
  • Understanding of technical, commercial, contractual and financial aspects of industrial project.
  • Understanding of joint-ventures management, organization and governance.

 

Specific Knowledge / skills

Your mission
  
As a Senior Lead Engineer in Structural Engineering, you will join Tractebel's Structural Engineering team, a key player in delivering complex infrastructure projects in Belgium and internationally. Our team comprises approximately 120 experts, lead engineers, design engineers, BIM modelers, and CAD draftsmen working from four locations in Belgium (Ghent, Hasselt, Brussels, and Namur) and in Romania.

The choice of which Belgian office you want to work from is entirely up to you.

 

Your key responsibilities 

 

  • Leading and managing structural engineering projects from concept to execution, ensuring compliance with quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
  • Acting as an expert in structural engineering, providing technical design reviews and guidance for other projects within the department.
  • Driving the use of BIM and parametric design to enhance project efficiency and innovation.
  • Coordinating and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including design engineers, geotechnical engineers, and draftsmen, to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Preparing and presenting project proposals, offers, and contracts in collaboration with the commercial team.
  • Ensuring adherence to Tractebel’s quality system and health & safety regulations throughout project execution.

  • A Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

Votre mission

 

  • Vous interviendrez sur des grands projets nucléaires (Programme Grand Carénage d’EDF, Post-Fukushima, …) en France et vous serez acteur du développement des compétences en Gestion de Projets techniques au sein de Tractebel.  
  • Vous piloterez des affaires en cours de déploiement sur les sites nucléaires et assurerez la coordination et l’intégration des modifications sur les sites. 

 

 

Vos principales responsabilités

 

Les activités génériques qui vous seront confiées sont les suivantes :   

  • Pilotage et coordination des acteurs des affaires. A cette fin, le titulaire organise les réunions de « pilotage », de cadrage, de coordination ou d’avancement nécessaires au bon avancement de ses  affaires ;
  • Pilotage et animation technique de l’ensemble des intervenants sur l’affaire ;  
  • Responsabilité du respect du planning et de la maîtrise des coûts de ses affaires ;  
  • Définition avec le planificateur des indicateurs pertinents à faire remonter dans le reporting mensuel ; 
  • Rédaction des éléments des reporting hebdomadaires et mensuels ;  
  • Etablissement et tenue à jour de l’analyse de risques de ses affaires (en collaboration avec les  contributeurs des affaires) ;  
  • Suivi contractuel des engagements des fournisseurs ;  
  • Suivi et gestion des aléas techniques des fournisseurs en phase de déploiement ;
  • Coordination et gestion des interfaces entre les équipes Etudes, les équipes Projet, les équipes communes sur sites, ainsi que les différents contributeurs de l’Affaire. 
  • Préparation de l’intervention avec les fournisseurs et déplacement sur sites aux étapes clés des chantiers.
  • Capitalisation du Retour d’EXpérience lié à l’affaire ; 

 

L’ensemble de ces activités sont réalisées en étroite relation avec l’ensemble des acteurs d’une affaire :  Etudes, Achats, Projet, Réalisation, Exploitant, Fournisseurs…

 

 

Nous aimerions faire la connaissance de personnes ayant

 

  • Formation de base : Ingénieur (Ecole ou Université, Bac +5, master…) avec une expérience de 5 - 10 ans dans le domaine du pilotage et de la conduite d’affaires, dans le secteur industriel. 
  • Nombre d’années d’expérience minimum : 5 à 10 ans 

 

Compétences principales : 

  • Solide expérience dans le domaine du Nucléaire.  
  • Bonne connaissance en fonctionnement des REP, mécanique générale, EIA ou génie civil.  
  • Expérience dans le domaine du pilotage et conduite d’affaires techniques. 
  • Expérience dans la coordination de fournisseurs en phase travaux
  • Connaissance des installations nucléaires d’EDF.

 

Compétences secondaires : 

  • Connaissance des processus d’ingénierie d’EDF (Processus IPE, Guide IOP…). 
  • Profil rigoureux et sérieux, capacité à gérer et à intervenir face à des situations imprévues.  
  • Management transversal, autonomie, bonnes capacités rédactionnelles et de communication, esprit de synthèse.
  • Des déplacements ponctuels sur les sites en France sont à prévoir (1 à 2 par mois).

What You Can Expect
As Groundskeeper will report to the site daily and work as the main point of contact in keeping and maintaining the vegetation, such as but not limited to weed eating, using a medium size agriculture tracker, and using a box blade for road repair. You will also oversee the regular scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting for the equipment and vehicles on site.  You will receive and report status updates on assignments and projects from the scheduling software on a computer terminal in the office. This work is completed independently amongst a team of technicians. Periodically you will be expected to manage and communicate with external contractors onsite to ensure compliance and safety.

  • You may be required to work to support solar technicians as needed for safety support other required assignments
  • You may be required to work on call as needed in site

¿Cuál sería tu objetivo?

Coordinar y liderar proyectos de ingeniería de sistemas de Transmisión (Subestaciones en AT,MT y BT, Líneas de AT-MT, etc.),dentro de la Gerencia Técnica, abarcando desde el área de Soporte Técnico al Desarrollo y el área de Ingeniería, según se requiera. Con esta flexibilidad sus actividades podrían corresponder a la coordinación y liderazgo de proyectos durante fase de Desarrollo y/o Implementación, con el fin de asegurar la entrega de estudios y propuestas, realizando recomendaciones de diseño, revisiones de ingeniería, optimizaciones del CAPEX en los diseños, revisiones de cubicaciones, cronogramas, programación y control de las actividades técnicas durante la fase de desarrollo y/o implementación, control y gestión del avance de la ingeniería, validación de equipos primarios previa solicitud de compra, exigencia de cumplimiento  según los deadlines o hitos multables del proyecto, considerando los presupuestos asignados y estándares de calidad, normativa nacional e internacional, seguridad, medio ambiente, costos e indicadores definidos por la compañía.

 

Funciones:

  • Liderar y gestionar el correcto desarrollo y finalización de las Ofertas Técnicas, así como apoyar con la entrega de información técnica a otros stakeholders necesarios para el aseguramiento del cumplimiento de las Bases, así como proporcionar otra información requerida para poder participar en la Licitaciones con Ofertas Vinculantes (Contratistas, compras de terreno, Medio Ambiente, etc.). Todo ello manteniendo coordinación con la Gerencia Técnica y con la Gerencia de Implementación de Proyectos, contribuyendo en el desarrollo y estudio de oportunidades.
  • Gestionar, definir y revisar los proyectos que le sean asignados del portafolio, con el fin de liderar las tareas necesarias durante la fase de desarrollo, implementación o ingenierías Operacionales en su aspecto de ingeniería técnica, utilizando la experiencia interna de la Gerencia Técnica y del grupo Engie, todo lo anterior alineado con la estrategia y metas organizacionales.
  • Coordinar, revisar y/o elaborar bases de licitación para diferentes fines, como por ejemplo: 1) Contratación de proveedores para la elaboración de productos de estudios eléctricos e ingeniería. 2) Contrataciones de Contratistas, en modalidades EPC, EPC light o Multipaquete. Realizando y aportando la descripción del alcance, criterios y otros documentos necesarios para la correcta adjudicación. 3) Procesos de licitaciones públicas. Todo ello controlando y velando por cumplir los plazos establecidos en el cronograma maestro.
  • Trabajar de forma sistemática y según los estándares definidos por la Gerencia Técnica, con el fin de asegurar la correcta trazabilidad y almacenamiento de la información, manteniendo constante interrelación con el área de Proyectos, de Gerencia Técnica, Gerencia de QA&QC, Desarrollo, PMO y demás áreas de la organización, actualizado respecto de los requerimientos y modalidades de ejecución de las distintas licitaciones y proyectos.
  • Gestionar y validar la ingeniería (planos, documentos EE.TT, HCTG, de diseños de SS.EE) de los diferentes proyectos que le sean asignados como  líder de proyecto. Para ello deberá definir las características y requerimientos clave de los planos maestros, así como revisar los productos entregados. Garantizando el cumplimiento normativo, buenas prácticas de ingeniería y optimizando con conocimiento técnico para lograr los objetivos de la compañía asignados a Soporte Técnico al Desarrollo o el Área de Ingeniería.
  • Cumplir con las responsabilidad definidas en reglamento de roles y seguridad RE-01, con el fin de asegurar la aplicación y el cumplimiento de la normativa, reglas y procedimientos internos y externos, contenidos en el programa de seguridad, salud y medio ambiente, en función a las funciones del puesto, y basado a los lineamientos que entrega el IND1, utilizando herramientas de control y reportabilidad definidas por la compañía.

 

Requisitos del cargo:

  • Formación académica: Ingeniería en Ejecución / Civil Eléctrica o afín.
  • Alto conocimiento normativo y del mercado de directa competencia.
  • Alto Conocimiento de Proyectos de Transmisión (calidad de servicio, sistema eléctrico nacional, diseño de Subestaciones eléctricas de AT y MT).
  • Conocimientos en Ingeniería Eléctrica de Transmisión.(Subestaciones en AT,MT y BT, en Líneas de AT-MT, etc.).
  • Experiencia en diseño y coordinación de Subestaciones Eléctricas, en todas sus etapas de Ingeniería (Conceptual, básica, detallada y As built), conocimientos básicos de diseños de Líneas.
  • Administración y Optimización de Recursos.
  • Inglés nivel intermedio.
  • Mínimo 10 años de experiencia en puestos similares, coordinando proyectos eléctricos de transmisión (Subestaciones y/o Líneas AT), con conocimientos  regulatorios, normativos y experiencia en el desarrollo y coordinación de ingeniería de proyectos aplicables al sector eléctrico de media y alta tensión.
  • Experiencia laboral de al menos 15 años en proyectos de transmisión, procesos de licitación, ingeniería, coordinación y evaluación de proyectos de transmisión.

You hold a Bachelor's degree or in leu of a degree we will accept six (6) years of retail utility experience

You are a detail-oriented professional with strong administrative skills, MS Office proficiency, and the ability to influence stakeholders with effective recommendations to support organizational and operational goals

You will identify and implement process improvements, troubleshoot and resolve transaction issues, and serve as a liaison across departments to address contract and workflow challenges

You have extensive experience managing utility industry EDI transactions, including customer registration, billing updates, and end-of-term processes
