SUMMARY:

As the Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for building and maintaining digital products to help these companies along, accelerate their decarbonization journey, and provide reliable sustainability data as a "single-source-of-truth" across the enterprise, augmented with best-in-class analytics and optimized tooling to help them successfully navigate the complexity of decarbonization.

  • Lead a world-class distributed team constructing and integrating intuitive web platforms leveraging big data and analytical technologies.
  • Define the long-term technical vision and strategy to deliver it in a way that will rally and inspire the organization around the shared vision for success
  • Establish and track clear, useful metrics to stay focused on the most important things, ask the right questions and continuously improve.
  • Ensure high quality code by creating and enforcing technical standards and quality assurance processes while managing the quality assurance teams.
  • Partner closely with product managers and designers to understand requirements and prioritize work into an Engineering Roadmap as a team.
  • Drive technical and business operational excellence overseeing the platforms DevOps function

    Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.   • Bachelors / Masters degree in Computer Science or related field preferred; or equivalent experience.

Experience: 

 

  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS software engineering
  • Experience with modern web development and web-scale architectures.
  • 7+ years of experience leading and managing an engineering team, including hiring and performance management.
  • Passion and proven success in test automation and DevOps.
  • A proven track records of delivering technology products on time, on schedule, and on budget

Compensation

What You Can Expect

ENGIE North America is hiring a Solar Technician for our Solar Site located near Temple, TX.  

 

Your daily responsibilities begin with accessing tasks via SCADA, Maximo, or various SAP software systems and repairing, troubleshooting, and fulfilling technical repair work orders for solar panels. You will manage documentation, update parts inventory, and as well as submit on-site status reports, including daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, and initiate work orders for equipment repairs.

 

  • Coordination of high voltage switching activities with local utilities and independent system operators (ISO), which includes tasks like substation operations, equipment lockouts and grounding
  • Adhere to safety protocols such as conducting Site-Specific Orientations, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and safety meetings
  • While you will primarily work independently on-site, there will always be a nearby technician for safety support; the site's team comprises of a site manager, a Balance of Plant technician, and the solar technician. You will also be a part of an on-call rotation for outages and emergencies; therefore, you must reside within 50 miles of the site.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum two (2) years diploma in a technical program where you have learned AC/ DC electrical theory, understand reading blue prints and schematics, industrial electrical equipment including breaker, disconnects, transformers, contactors
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in Solar generation sites, Wind generation sites
  • Manufacturing or Mining operations, or Controls & Industrial Maintenance
  • Must have or be willing to obtain certification by AVO as substation technician within 12 months of hire date
  • Capacity to be on call as deemed necessary by supervisor

 

 

Additional Details

  • This is a field position requiring daily travel to client site(s)
  • Must be available to travel domestically to other solar plants for emergencies and assist with outages
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record to drive company vehicle on and around the plant
  • Must be willing and able to comply with ENGIE’s policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testing
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
  • The position consists of 30% work indoors and 70% work outdoors; outdoor work may expose the employee to weather conditions

 

 

Compensation

  • Vei raspunde de stabilirea valorilor de Construcții Montaj și de mijloace fixe pentru lucrările ce ți-au fost repartizate pentru tratarea și întocmirea borderoului de defalcare a mijloacelor fixe, precum și de completarea proceselor verbale de recepție la terminarea lucrărilor (PVRTL) și predarea acestora la contabilitate.
  • Vei recepționa în SAP sau alte aplicații informatice, fiecare lucrare, în baza situațiilor de lucrări validate de dirigintele de șantier și de management. După ultima situație de lucrări, vei bifa închiderea comenzii de aprovizionare, terminarea lucrării și închide proiectul după cumularea tuturor cheltuielilor pe proiect.
  • Vei asigura înregistrarea, emiterea și transmiterea documentelor și informațiilor necesare capitalizării mijloacelor fixe și raportării acestora la ANRE.

 

Experiență, calificări, cunoștințe și abilități:

  • Studii  medii finalizate cu diplomă de bacalaureat;
  • Minimum 6 luni experiență în lucru cu baze de date și aplicații informatice care gestionează un volum mare de informații și documente;
  • Cunoștințe privind utilizarea pachetului Office (WORD, XLS) la nivel mediu;
  • Comunicare clară și convingătoare, atât verbal cât și în scris;
  • Demonstrează responsabilitate pentru activitățile desfășurate;
  • Capacitatea de a respecta termenele limită și de a lucra sub presiunea timpului;

The senior business developers are based in the local offices in the abovementioned countries and report to the headquarter organization located in Belgium. All local senior business developers are interfaced with a business developer manager located in Belgium, defining the business development strategy in terms of products/services/R&D to be developed in Asia, and supporting the local senior business developers in the execution of the given strategy. Our entity aims to substantially grow its business in the UAE and Asia (KSA excluded). To reinforce its capacity to increase the sales volume in the region, our entity looks for a senior business developer.

 

The senior business developers are based in the local offices in the abovementioned countries and report to the headquarter organization located in Belgium. All local senior business developers are interfaced with a business developer manager located in Belgium, defining the business development strategy in terms of products/services/R&D to be developed in Asia, and supporting the local senior business developers in the execution of the given strategy. Our contracting team offers its support to establish attractive, competitive and innovative offers in energy and infrastructure, especially for clients and projects requiring the collaboration with other business entities from the ENGIE group. Your function

  • Acquisition of new customers, growing business with current customers as a way to increase the company's market share in the region.
  • Develop and secure close relationship with target customers.
  • Introduction of target products and services in the region.
  • Develop and maintain good relationship with other stakeholders operating in the region in the view of establishing partnerships when needed to push target products and services.

  • Responsible for preparing, leading and making presentations to customers and partners related to the Laborelec business activity and to specific technical products and services.
  • Leading the commercial process involving and coordinating internal and external technical, financial, legal and other professionals.  

Your profile

  • You have a university degree in technical/scientific matters (engineering preferred).
  • You have more than 10 years of experience in the electrical power/energy industry with the following qualifications:
    • You have relevant experience as operations- or maintenance engineer in large power plant, coal- and/or gas fired power stations.
    • You have relevant experience as operations- maintenance- and/or plant-manager
    • You have a valuable network with potential future clients in the region.
  • You can work in team and have an excellent communication and reporting capability.
  • You are able to work independently and to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • You demonstrate a commercial reflex and negotiating capabilities.
  • You are perfectly fluent in English.

  • Act as the Finance Business Partner and advisor to the C&I department within GEMS ANZ

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the development of partnering relationship with the C & I management team and with stakeholders through out GEMS
  • Turning data into actionable insights and delivery of high quality advice to support business performance in line with projected growth, forecast and financial metrics
  • Annual budgeting and forecasting lead, as well as medium term plans
  • Validate PL and Risks of the assets books
  • Lead monthly forecasting process, results review and any corrective action plans to KPI’s
  • Together with the accounting team, accountability for month end, data integrity and compliance

 

About you:

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • CA or CPA qualified
  • Multiple years experience in a similar role with energy industry (C & I) knowledge advantageous

 Tus principales responsabilidades serán: 

  • Establecer la estrategia y supervisar los procesos y personas encargadas de la negociación de tierras, asegurando el cumplimiento de los objetivos de desarrollo de negocios e implementación de proyectos dentro de la programación de adquisición de tierras.
  • Analizar y determinar las condiciones de la propiedad a negociar, verificando documentos de propiedad, área a adquirir y posibles riesgos con colindantes y terceros, para conocer las condiciones legales y técnicas y la situación real del predio, determinando así el enfoque de la negociación
  • Identificar tempranamente los riesgos sociales asociados al acceso al territorio y a la negociación de tierras, estableciendo un plan de acción y mitigación de riesgos que permita la ejecución de los proyectos en tiempo y presupuesto
  • Desarrollar el proceso y cierre de negociación a través de reuniones con los titulares y familiares directos de los predios de interés, logrando una negociación que beneficie a todas las partes y permita la obtención de los predios identificados para el desarrollo de los proyectos.
  • Participar en la solución de conflictos y reclamos de expropietarios, contribuyendo al cumplimiento de compromisos por la compra o usufructo de tierras para asegurar la paz social y el desarrollo normal de los proyectos.
  • Revisar y validar informes técnicos y legales del personal a cargo, autorizando compras y documentación necesaria para concluir negociaciones, asegurando la veracidad y cumplimiento de los parámetros técnicos.
  • Colaborar y apoyar en actividades complementarias relacionadas con su puesto o línea de carrera, asegurando la consecución de los procesos en los cuales está involucrado como especialista.

¿Qué necesitamos de ti? 

Indispensables: 

  • Profesional de las carreras de  Antropología, Sociología, Economía para el desarrollo, o afines.
  • Experiencia de al menos 10 años desempeñando procesos de negociación de tierras en cargos senior.
  • Manejo de la regulación asociada a la ley de comunidades campesinas, consulta previa.

What You Can Expect

As a Photo Voltaic (PV) Designer for ENGIE North America you will be responsible for designing and finalizing design layouts for rooftop, ground mount, and carport solar PV installations, and battery storage, throughout the USA. Candidates must have strong technical and design skills along with the ability to handle a variety of tasks on multiple projects. You will assist various departments on requests to develop, design, and optimize PV projects.

 

Everyday you will need to meet deadlines while handling multiple assignments in a timely manner and high degree of accuracy. Additionally, you will support other departments with tasks throughout a project’s life cycle, such as drawings for bid, permit, construction, revisions, RFPs, and as-builts.

 

  • Create and review layouts for rooftop, ground mount, and carport projects
  • Review building conditions, check dimensions, determine feasibility of designs while working with the team to resolve design conflicts

What You Can Expect

As the Construction Management, Senior (CMSr) in ENGIE, Distributed Energy Solution (DES) you will oversee ENGIE’s construction sites and subcontractors, provide baseline/milestone/look-ahead schedule, ensuring site safety practices, and uphold quality assurance/control measures are provided for the installations. These small to mid-size projects include, but are not limited to, a combination of energy conservation measures (ECM) and renewable generation projects such as Photovoltaic Solar, Battery Energy Storage Solutions (BESS), high-efficiency HVAC, Energy Management Systems (EMS), high-efficiency transformers, LED lighting, lighting control systems. You will work closely with the Project Directors and Managers during the project execution phase to lead all aspects of delivering the project to our clients. This position is in California and is field based role; you will be on site every day during the construction period.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of five (5) years of construction management experience
  • Technical experience and or training with electrical, mechanical, lighting projects
  • Scheduling experience with Microsoft Project or comparable software
  • Past experience working with Project Inspectors and Field Engineers
  • Experience in construction projects, working at sites, managing subcontractors, contracts administration and change management
  • Experienced in preparing and executing Health & Safety, Environmental, Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) Plans
  • Basic Knowledge of project engineering for technical consult and QA/QC inspections
  • Ability to coordinate customer requirements for site access and security for contractors (including keys/ alarms); works with customer sites’ schedules/constraints to minimize construction impact to build occupants

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role requires attendance at a worksite on a daily basis
  • Must be available to travel domestically (via car) up to 80% of the time
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record with the ability to drive to site locations
