The role is located in Pune, India
ENGIE head office is based in Courbevoie (La Défense).

 

The GET program aims to deliver the future business and IT core model with a central “one ERP / One ARIBA / One MDG” platform. The functional context of the program covers a set of functional areas including accounting, controlling and procurement as main areas, recently extended to Business modules.

The GET program offers a unique opportunity to onboard on one of the most ambitious and strategic Enterprise transformation programs with a very high IT footprint with S/4 & SAP ARIBA as central IT components. The SAP Automation Engineer is located within the SAP CoE organization and is responsible to automate processes in SAP CoE, interactions with our partners and the suppliers delivering SAP services.

 

The internal processes are run through ServiceNow and Jira.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement automatization for internal processes between partners, SAP CoE, GET project and SAP suppliers
  • Define requirements for ServiceNow and Jira
  • Drive implementation of automations between these systems using other GBS IT teams
  • Work with GET project and SAP suppliers on tooling to improve and continuously optimize the SAP delivery processes
  • Ensure full delivery of all SAP services through ServiceNow
  • Utilize AI to further optimize delivery of the SAP factories together with the global factory lead

 

The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong background in project management, along with experience working with SAP software and a proven track record of effectively handling and delivery value-driven IT projects over the SAP environments. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are also essential for success in this position.

What You Can Expect

The Program Systems Advisor for Continuous Improvement will manage applications and support digital initiatives within the Renewables energy business unit.   • System Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system instructions, user manuals, workflows, and best practices, ensuring accessibility and user-friendliness
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to map data flow accuracy, identify process improvement opportunities, collaborate on system enhancements, and monitor the effectiveness of changes
  • Training and Support: Conduct training sessions for end-users, provide ongoing support and troubleshooting, and maximize system adoption and effectiveness
  • Contract Management: Oversee system service contracts, ensure compliance with agreements, track expiration dates, and initiate renewal discussions as necessary

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. This should include coursework or practical experience in systems, project management, integration, program management, or a similar area of study that provides a strong foundation for managing complex projects and initiatives

  • Seven (7) years of experience in program management, project management, or a related role, including positions such as process improvement and quality control within IT or integration environments. This should also include experience in the renewable energy sector, specifically in roles that support process improvement and project management for IT, involving initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, integrate new technologies, and ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Background and experience in Agile or Continuous Improvement, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in current technologies and methodologies for IT processes, procedures, and project management, including system documentation, user training practices, and the use of project management tools
  • Ability to work and deliver results autonomously and without supervision
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel and PowerPoint), and a strong collaborator

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy

Compensation

Salary Range: $99,000 – $151,800 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Role Summary

What You Can Expect

As a Financial Reporting Advisor in Houston, you will report to the Financial Reporting Director and join the North America (“NorthAm”) consolidation team in the monthly and quarterly US GAAP and IFRS financial closing and reporting processes for ENGIE’s US and Canadian entities.

 

You will support the Global Business Services (“GBS”) accounting team in consolidations mechanics and account selection and the Financial Planning and Analysis (“FP&A”) team’s budget processes.  You will also manage certain cross-functional support activities, such as the annual internal control assessment, IT integration implementation, and maintaining financial reporting tools.

 

As a Financial Reporting Advisor, you will collaborate with NorthAm teams primarily located in Houston and Chicago and with ENGIE Group colleagues in Paris. US based stakeholders include the NorthAm GBS Accounting team, Financial Planning and Analysis (“FP&A”), Technical Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Insurance, and the Acquisition Investment Financial Advisory (AIFA) investments valuations team. You will also work closely with the ENGIE Group Consolidation team and Group FP&A. You will be a key member of the NorthAm Finance function and will work extensively with external auditors validating ENGIE’s accounts.

 

Serve as the subject matter expert on the consolidated International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) income statements, balance sheets, and cash-flow statements

Advise GBS and AIFA and senior management on IFRS, US GAAP, and managerial financial reporting impacts of proposed and finalized transactions with the support of the Technical Accounting team

Submit IFRS reporting packages, off balance sheet disclosure packages, and financial forecast packages other essential information needed to compile full consolidated financials, disclosures, and analysis for ENGIE’s US and Canadian entities ensuring data validation controls are reviewed and enforced

Lead and ensure the accuracy of the financial data communicated via the consolidation processes in accordance with Group provided instructions and schedules including investment in subsidiaries, equity roll forwards, equity pick-ups, calculation of tax estimates, and intercompany reconciliations

Administer the highly critical SAP Financial Consolidation tool including planning, design, testing and implementation within a development and production site

Enforce and maintain all consolidation process internal controls

Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis to senior management.

Respond to IFRS and US GAAP audit requests ensuring compliance with IFRS and US GAAP requirements

Train and support operational and finance colleagues on IFRS and US GAAP compliance.

Participate in or lead cross-functional projects with FP&A such as IT tool development, process design, etc., as needed

 

 

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in which you completed courses in finance and  accounting, or other related disciplines 

International Financial Reporting Standards and US GAAP knowledge

A minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in accounting, financial reporting, or financial analysis

Significant consolidation accounting experience including understanding the consolidation scope, rules, controls, reports, and validations.

Working towards to a Certified Public Accounting (“CPA”) license or equivalent certification

Partnership reporting experience

Proficiency in SAP solutions (S4, SAC, BFC, Cartesis), Microsoft Excel, and/or Power BI

Effective written and verbal communication skills in English

Ability to manage and complete multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy and a drive for completion

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the project testing and commissioning, handover procedures to deliver project performances guaranteed to the customer as well as training on HSE, Operation & Maintenance (O&M), project documentation - including manuals and as build drawings – for the O&M operations teams and ensuring practice and knowledge is effectively transferred.
  • At the end of each project, initiate, plan and coordinate – for the Project Management section - for a full review the project in order to define the return-on-experience, best practices, methods, tools and organization for the Projects team quality and performances improvement.

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in  Environmental  engineering  or  in  Electrical/Mechanical, Electromechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years and proven record of successfully managing, supervising full spectrum of renewable solar projects with technical team, contractor coordination, with direct  construction responsibility, with hands on experience of renewable solar plant

What You Can Expect

s a Financial Reporting Advisor in Houston, you will report to the Financial Reporting Director and join the North America (“NorthAm”) consolidation team in the monthly and quarterly US GAAP and IFRS financial closing and reporting processes for ENGIE’s US and Canadian entities.

 

You will support the Global Business Services (“GBS”) accounting team in consolidations mechanics and account selection and the Financial Planning and Analysis (“FP&A”) team’s budget processes.  You will also manage certain cross-functional support activities, such as the annual internal control assessment, IT integration implementation, and maintaining financial reporting tools.

 

As a Financial Reporting Advisor, you will collaborate with NorthAm teams primarily located in Houston and Chicago and with ENGIE Group colleagues in Paris. US based stakeholders include the NorthAm GBS Accounting team, Financial Planning and Analysis (“FP&A”), Technical Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Insurance, and the Acquisition Investment Financial Advisory (AIFA) investments valuations team. You will also work closely with the ENGIE Group Consolidation team and Group FP&A. You will be a key member of the NorthAm Finance function and will work extensively with external auditors validating ENGIE’s accounts.

 

Serve as the subject matter expert on the consolidated International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) income statements, balance sheets, and cash-flow statements

Advise GBS and AIFA and senior management on IFRS, US GAAP, and managerial financial reporting impacts of proposed and finalized transactions with the support of the Technical Accounting team

Submit IFRS reporting packages, off balance sheet disclosure packages, and financial forecast packages other essential information needed to compile full consolidated financials, disclosures, and analysis for ENGIE’s US and Canadian entities ensuring data validation controls are reviewed and enforced

Lead and ensure the accuracy of the financial data communicated via the consolidation processes in accordance with Group provided instructions and schedules including investment in subsidiaries, equity roll forwards, equity pick-ups, calculation of tax estimates, and intercompany reconciliations

Administer the highly critical SAP Financial Consolidation tool including planning, design, testing and implementation within a development and production site

Enforce and maintain all consolidation process internal controls

Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis to senior management.

Respond to IFRS and US GAAP audit requests ensuring compliance with IFRS and US GAAP requirements

Train and support operational and finance colleagues on IFRS and US GAAP compliance.

Participate in or lead cross-functional projects with FP&A such as IT tool development, process design, etc., as needed

 

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in which you completed courses in finance and  accounting, or other related disciplines 

International Financial Reporting Standards and US GAAP knowledge

A minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in accounting, financial reporting, or financial analysis

Significant consolidation accounting experience including understanding the consolidation scope, rules, controls, reports, and validations.

Working towards to a Certified Public Accounting (“CPA”) license or equivalent certification

Partnership reporting experience

Proficiency in SAP solutions (S4, SAC, BFC, Cartesis), Microsoft Excel, and/or Power BI

Effective written and verbal communication skills in English

Ability to manage and complete multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy and a drive for completion

Ability to meet highest attendance requirements

Able to work outside of usual US business hours, as needed

Compensation

Salary Range: $86,100 - $132,020 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

Manage Project Development activities from predevelopment stage until Project Delivery

 

  • Identify land parcels for Solar & Wind / Hybrid renewable energy projects for states including but not limited to Rajasthan, Gujarat, MP etc.
  • Undertake through law firms the due diligence on land parcels, ethics check of land owners and ethics check of land aggregators to meet company’s requirements;
  • Collaborate internally to determine land suitability for solar, wind, or other renewable energy projects.
  • Appoint land aggregators as per the company’s legal policies and through them secure the land rights, leases, and permits for renewable energy projects;
  • Finalise land lease agreements, in compliance with local regulations and laws
  • Collaboration with various internal local and international stakeholders to finalise the contracts with land aggregators
  • Responsible for managing local communities and stakeholders
  • Detailed understanding of the relevant regulations for renewable energy projects;
  • Ensure all land-related activities adhere to legal requirements and permitting processes.
  • Lead land acquisition during the project development and construction phase, and provide support to the O&M team for any land related matters.

Successful Applicant must have:

 

  • Minimum 10 + years of proven experience in land acquisition in the renewable energy sector
  • Thorough understanding of connectivity regulations, land acquisition and regulatory frameworks in select states and have experience of handling end-to-end Land acquisition
  • In-depth knowledge of land laws and connectivity regulations in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of project development processes, including site selection, permitting, and construction within the solar / wind / other RE projects.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities to work with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build positive relationships with external stakeholders;
  • Willingness to extensively travel and temporarily base within the assigned regions to ensure timely aggregation of targeted land parcels.
