MISSIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The missions and responsibilities of the Assistant Manager-Civil are:

 

-India and Overseas site visits during various phases of the project (pre-bid, construction, Operation and Maintenance) and prepare site visit report, site feasibility assessment and remedial measures for Solar PV plant as per requirement.

 

-Review preliminary investigation reports, Geo-technical, topography, hydrology and prepare executive summary from the reports and shall propose best suitable solution for the project.

 

-Prepare and review technical documentation and procedural guidelines.

 

-Preparation of specifications for various civil engineering activities.

 

-Review and prepare various QAP’s and Field Quality Plan.

 

-Preparation of SOP’s and Checklists for the methodology followed for various activities.

 

-Review structure and infrastructure drawing and documents.

 

-Prepare and review bill of quantity, design basis report.

 

-Design structural elements in solar PV plant (RCC building, PEB shed building, Module mounting structure, etc.,)

 

-Design infrastructural elements in solar PV plant (Storm water drainage, internal road, fence, plumbing system, etc.,).

 

-Prepare various basic drawings related to civil works. (road cross-section, road layout, drain cross-section, road layout, module cleaning system layout, boundary fence cross-section, Module mounting structure GA, etc.,)

 

-Design of foundations for various elements in the solar PV project and sub-station (MCR building foundation, power/Inverter transformer foundation, equipment foundation in sub-station etc, including foundation of Module mounted structure).

 

-Slope analysis for project area in civil -3D.

 

-Preparation of levelling and grading for project area.

 

-Technical support to O&M and provide best suitable solution.

 

-Co-ordination with different contractors and vendors for various activities.

 

-Co-ordination with project team during construction and resolved queries arise during construction related to engineering and quality.

 

-Knowledge of various IS, IRC, ASCE, ISO and BS etc., standards related to the Engineering deliverables

 

-In depth knowledge of various materials used in construction with their properties and usage.

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
-Pre-requisites:
o Master/Bachelor’s degree in CIVIL Engineering BE/BTech/MTech or equivalent (Full time)
o 8 – 10 years of relevant work experience in power generation sector with specific knowledge, expertise and experience in developing or designing / review of solar PV projects (Experience in Wind project would be added advantage).
o Working experience in several of the following areas:
▪Coordination of large sized EPC projects
▪Renewable consultant
▪BOQ preparation
▪Design experience in overseas projects Etc.
oProficiency in Auto-CAD, Civil -3D, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, google earth, QGIS, Microsoft office, STAAD pro, etc.,

·Ensure all applicable HSE statutory and other compliance related to site.

 

·All HSE related site inspections like- O&M work, Lifting tools & tackles inspection, PPE Inspection, Electrical tools inspection, PTW, documentation, etc.

 

·Coordinate safety meetings at sites, record MoM, ensure timely closure of actionable & reporting to HO- QHSE.

 

·Effective implementation of basic Safety like PTW, Toolbox Talk, LOTO, LMRA, Vendor's compliance, etc.

 

·Ensure strict HSE compliance by self and others at site & Adherence to systems and processes.

 

·Conduct Site HSE audits, prepare & release reports, follow up on NCRs / improvement areas and ensure closure.

 

·Visits to other sites (OMS) for HSE audit and submit report against the same as directed by HO- QHSE.

 

.Lead the various trainings and mock drills for all site team.            

 

· Conduct 5 ‘S’ audit for Guest House, CMS and canteen, etc.

 

·Record & reporting all HSSE indicators to HO- QHSE. Daily / Weekly / Monthly reporting.

 

·Play a vital role during any emergency, RCA, incident investigation and reporting as & when required.

 

·Ensure adherence to site protocol and discipline.

 

·Interface with the clients for resolution of their queries related to HSE at site level.        

 

·Appoint HSE Wardens to facilitate implementation of HSE and train them appropriately.

 

·Take necessary steps to inculcate a culture of Safety & awareness across sites.

 

IMS (OHSAS, EMS)

 

·Implementation of IMS system at sites and monitor the compliance of the same.                            

 

·Conduct site safety audits for Health, Safety & Environment compliances as per ISO 14001, ISO 45001.                   

 

·To ensure recording of all near misses and accidents.                     

 

·Reporting of IMS status to HO-HSE time to time.

Purpose of the job

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

 

Pre-requisites:
oMasters/Bachelor’s degree in engineering BE/BTech or equivalent (Full time) AICTE recognised University.
oMinimum of 6-8 years of experience in the power generation sector (Ideally in Solar & Wind sector) with specific knowledge, expertise and experience in developing or designing / review of solar PV projects (Experience in Wind project would be added advantage) including the ability to:

•Evaluate conceptual designs and knowledge of AutoCad.

oA basic understanding of HV/MV/LV (DC & AC) electrical systems, including international practices on grid connection for centralized energy projects, as well as electrical system integration & optimization for industrial customers.

GET – IT Operations Manager (M/F) 

The role is positioned in Pune (India)

The GET program aims to deliver the future business and IT core model with a central “one ERP / One ARIBA / One MDG” platform. The functional context of the program covers a set of functional areas including accounting, controlling and procurement as main areas, recently extended to Business modules.

The GET program offers a unique opportunity to onboard on one of the most ambitious and strategic Enterprise transformation programs with a very high IT footprint with S/4 & SAP ARIBA as central IT components. The IT Operations Manager role is to reinforce GET IT Team, within the GBS IT SAP Center of Excellence, and be accountable for managing the incident management, service requests and problem management.

 

Overseeing the Incident Management process, the IT Operations Manager ensures efficient resolution of incidents, and maintains communication with all stakeholders (entities, GBS IT, local IT, GET run provider). He/She coordinates the response to incidents, making sure all needed resource are actively working on the issue to ensure timely resolution.

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, with a proven track record of effectively handling and resolving incidents in a timely and efficient manner. Key responsibilities include coordinating and prioritizing service requests, ensuring that incidents are thoroughly documented and resolved according to established procedures, and identifying areas for process improvement to enhance overall operational efficiency. The Operations Manager will also be responsible for providing guidance to the team and support as needed to ensure optimal performance.

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and monitor incidents, service requests and problems
  • Follow up on the incidents, service requests and problems, to ensure in every moment the incidents are correctly processes, all the activites have been taken in charge by the correct owner and executed according to the SLA agreed and with the right quality towards the customer
  • Identify and remove the roadblocks towards the incident resolution and service requests execution
  • Work with the RUN provider to ensure an effective process execution for incident management, service requests
  • Monitor KPI and SLAs
  • Cooperate within the overall organization
  • Raise open points, identify risks and mitigation actions, manage escalations if needed
  • Provide reporting to the management
  • Ensure compliance towards ITIL best practices
  • Coordinate and work with international teams spread across multiple locations

 

 

 

Position requirements

  • 6-10 years experience on IT Operations on SAP environments with at least 3 years of experience
  • Deep knowledge of ITIL foundation
  • Fluent English (oral/written)
  • Leadership, experience in transverse management and large team cross coordination
  • Focus on Business Satisfaction

SAP CoE – Factory Lead /Manager (M/F) -Pune, India

The role is located in Pune, India. ENGIE head office is based in Courbevoie (La Défense)

Innovation is at the heart of GET Program with an ambition to implement a best in class processes & solution.

The Factory Lead role is proposed to reinforce SAP CoE Team, and will be accountable for all Factories delivery. The factories are delivered by an outsourcing partner from India.

 Job Responsibilities:

  • In charge of supervising all factories (Data Migration, Development, authorization, testing ….) provided by strategic partner from India :
    • Management of all projects and tasks being realized in the factories during the rollout and in the run phase of the GET project
    • Ensure an industrialize ways of working (processes, tooling, KPI, …)
    • Monitor services (RUN & BUILD) & ensure compliancy SLA
    • Manage subcontracted factory leaders and teams
    • Handle hot topics & crisis
    • Ensure deliverables from factories on time and on budget and ensure proper quality.
  • For 3 factories (Development, Testing and  Authorization) :
    • Directly accountable for delivery
    • Select, implement & maintain tooling to ensure operations
    • Define delivery model and setup appropriate team with subcontractor
  • Oversee global relationship with all stakeholders : GET Teams (Roll-out & RUN), other GBS IT SAP CoE teams and Factories partner
  • Contribute to audits (internal controls) – Define & monitor adequate documents & checklist

  • Senior position that require significant experience in large SAP projects

The RUN Project Manager role is to reinforce GET IT Team, and within the GBS IT SAP Center of Excellence be accountable for the projects for the GET RUN, such as major evolutions and enhancements, upgrades.

 

As the Teamleader role you are managing the local team located in India to manage our GET RUN supplier.

 

A SAP project manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing SAP implementation projects from start to finish. This role involves working closely with stakeholders, team members, and SAP consultants to ensure that project objectives are met on time and within budget.

 

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the local SAP CoE team located in India
  • Define the project scope and develop the plans, timelines and budget
  • Identifying project risks and developing mitigation strategies
  • Coordinating project resources and tasks

Position requirements

  • 12-15 years experience on Project Management on SAP environments with at least 3 years of experience
  • Knowledge of Ariba and S4Hana for modules FI, CO, MM, PM, SD, PS
  • Fluent English (oral/written), French is a plus

The position

 

Internal Control objective is to provide reasonable assurance to management in terms of :

  • Compliance of the organization processes with the group golden rules and policies
  • effectiveness and efficiency of business operations (including prevention of risks of fraud)
  • reliability of financial reporting. Internal Control covers both financial process and all other operational and strategic processes.
  • compliance with laws & regulations,

 

Financial processes:

In the Target Finance Operating model, the financial processes and some other transactional processes are run in expertise centres at different levels of the organization, either directly or with shared service centres.  All the Finance management line is responsible for delivering to GBUs the corresponding outcome with the appropriate level of internal control. While the Head of Internal control India will focus on Finance & Accounting related topics, he/she will also work on other domains throughout ENGIE (for instance Health and Safety, Sapin 2, ethics,…).

 

Your main objectives

  • you follow, complement
  • you coordinate and monitor the deployment of effective internal controls (INCOME) within all activities of the entities 
  • you ensure adoption of INCOME programs, appropriate to the needs of entities activities and in line with GBU expectations;
  • you act as business partner and advisor to management in managing risks and improving the maturity of their business processes.
  • you provide assurance to the management for the signoff of the annual IC attestation letter, confirming that Internal Control systems are appropriate to mitigate the main risks, and that action plans are defined as required.
  • You perform 2nd level control activity over the GBU activities in the INDIA entities.

 

Your key Accountabilities

  • Propose to the management the annual INCOME roadmap setting the IC objectives and scope, in line with entities priorities, GBU expectations and ENGIE Corporate requirements.
  • Coordinate and monitor the implementation of INDIA annual IC roadmap
  • Supervise the implementation of Internal Control in the entities for the general control environment evaluation and for the INCOME process analysis. Coordinate the different steps of the program with Internal Control community and operational entities.
  • On a case by case basis, support the Business Process Owners (BPO) with the implementation of adequate internal controls.
  • Define and monitor and test the reliability of the self-assessment and share experience on best practices (o/w INCOME reviews, Highbond dashboards, incident analyses).
  • Share IC tools and best practices across the entities
  • Oversee the controls self-assessment, report progress to Internal Control Officer AMEA, prepare IC annual reports for the Management
  • Oversee the implementation of action plans identified by self-assessment and as results of audits, and escalate issues to f Internal Control Officer AMEA and entities internal controllers
  • Prepare the annual global synthesis presentation for INDIA
  • Prepare the annual IC attestation letters and ensure they are properly cascaded in the organization.
  • Corroborate process maturity assessments with IA conclusions and monitor the implementation of IA recommendations related to Internal Control,
  • Coordinate with local external auditors: share the IC roadmap and the IC conclusions; obtain their input on IC if any.

Your profile

  • master’s degree from reputable engineering, business school or university.
  • 8+ years of experience in similar fields (risk management, audit,…)
  • Global and transversal vision : from a good knowledge of Group activities, ability to work with various process experts
  • Accountability and assertiveness : ability to challenge experts, management and Corporate functional lines 
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills (results-oriented but still looking at issues in a very detailed manner);
  • Knowledge of support and global processes
  • ability to summarize in-depth, particularly in PowerPoint
  • strong interpersonal and relationship management skills: ability to build and maintain positive internal relationships
  • must be constructive, inquisitive and creative
