About the Role: 

Join our Collections & Recoveries team to manage administration, liaise with stakeholders, and support our efforts in the energy transition.

 

This is a Hybrid role assigned to our Leeds office where the successful candidate would be based two days a week.  On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts through our debt recovery process
  • Contact customers to collect payments via phone/email
  • Liaise with stakeholders to reduce aged debt and resolve queries
  • Negotiate and manage payment plans
  • Maintain accurate records and data
  • Create legal packs and manage spreadsheets
  • Handle accounts with detrimental information from Companies House
  • Manage customers in insolvency and create landlord letters
  • Assist the disconnections team with support tasks
  • Prepare and validate legal packs
  • Manage post and mailboxes

Experience and Skills:

  • Experience in legal practice, insolvency admin, or debt recovery
  • Preferable utility industry experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills and verbal reasoning
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and handle difficult customers
  • Team player with the ability to work at all levels
  • Understanding of the legal claims process
  • Knowledge of the energy industry is desirable

Qualifications:

  • GCSE or equivalent

Jouw missie  

 

Als Hydraulica Manager in onze afdeling Infrastructure draag je elke dag bij aan onze missie door een cruciale rol te spelen in het leidinggeven aan een enthousiast team van hydraulica-experts die zich bezighouden met hydraulisch nazicht, hydronautstudies, en het hydraulisch ontwerp van rioleringen, drainagesystemen, en andere infrastructuurprojecten. Je stuurt het team zowel operationeel als strategisch aan, werkt nauw samen met andere afdelingen en klanten, en draagt bij aan de verdere ontwikkeling van het vakgebied en de interne processen
 
Je belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden  
 

Leiderschap en teammanagement:
    Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het aansteken van het enthousiasme en de motivatie van het hydraulica-team in zowel Gent als Hasselt.

  •     Je organiseert de werkplanning van het team in nauwe samenwerking met de projectleiders en de Team Managers, waarbij je zorgt voor een efficiënte inzet van middelen en tijd.

  • Je hebt een masterdiploma in industriële engineering of een Master of Science in civiele techniek.

Purpose of the Job:

As a Project Manager, you will take ownership and leadership of projects, ensuring their successful delivery against defined criteria of time, cost, quality, and benefits realisation. What you will do:

Activity Setup / Project Management:

Desired education, expertise, and skills:

  • 1-3 year-experience in running a supply and/or generation portfolio and/or a proprietary book;

  • Experience in energy markets and trading algorithms/ strategy development: proficient power markets knowledge on Romanian and SEE markets;
  • Fluent in English. French and/or Romanian are a plus;

What You Can Expect

As our Electrician I at The Ohio State University, you will install, operate, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair utility low, medium, and high voltage electrical utility plant, generation, and distribution systems under the general supervision of higher-level electricians and will report to the High Voltage Supervisor.
 

  • Subject to 24-hour emergency call and perform repairs, replacements, troubleshooting, and installations of electrical systems and equipment up to 600V class.
  • Assist with preventive maintenance, upgrades, and inspections of electrical utilities equipment, including lockout/tagout procedures and test equipment usage.
  • Overhaul motors, replace bearings, operate cranes, lifts, and other equipment, and maintain electrical equipment in all ENGIE operated utility plants and systems.
  • Read and update blueprints, electrical diagrams, manuals, and schematics; make sketches, modification plans, layouts, and design circuits, Maintain records and reports.
  • Assist higher-classification electricians with installation, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of 5,000-138,000 volt electrical distribution equipment, direct contractors, and will also perform other duties to safely and efficiently operate campus utility systems.

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You have a minimum High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 5 years work experience as a commercial/ industrial electrician, 4 of those years should demonstrate experience in installation and maintenance of 600V class electrical systems
  • 15kV experience is a plus but not required
  • Knowledge of basic principles of electricity and related terminology, ability to read technical manuals, schematic wiring diagrams and volt-ohm-amp testers

  • This role requires attendance at a worksite on a daily
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license
  • will drive company vehicle, while onsite

Compensation

What You Can Expect

As our Performance Engineer, at ENGIE’s Medical Area Total Energy Plant (MATEP), you will be responsible for ensuring energy and power plant systems, applications, and services meet the required performance standards and operate efficiently under various conditions. As our Power Plant Maintenance Mechanic, at ENGIE’s Medical Area Total Energy Plant (MATEP), you will be responsible for performing installation, maintenance repair, overhauls, and testing of various diesel engine driven equipment.  You will also provide supervisors with all pertinent information concerning equipment and submit written reports as requested.  You may also be assigned to complete various non-diesel tasks, all under the supervision of the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in heavy diesel engine maintenance and repair, or equivalent 
  • You have specialized technical training, or equivalent familiarity with the use of precision measuring devices, and the ability to read and understand technical drawings and instruction manuals
  • Must have a valid state driver’s license, Forklift, 3A Hoisting Licenses
  • You should have sound knowledge of the application and use of diagnostic equipment
  • You will install, inspect, overhaul, and maintain diesel engine driven equipment including all engine components

  • You will determine and obtain parts and supplies from stock as required to perform repairs, maintenance, and overhaul work; prepare stockroom requisitions as required
  • You must prepare and submit information to supervisors as needed to order parts and materials required in the general performance of job assignments
  • You will be responsible for maintaining work areas and shop facilities in a clean, orderly, and safe condition
  • You will observe and comply with all standard safety codes and practices and perform work in accordance with recognized trade and company standards and, where applicable, local, state, and federal laws
  • You must participate in mandatory training and other programs
  • Must participate in emergency response
  • You will perform other related duties as required

  • Prepare budgetary and indicative BOP construction estimates for wind, solar, and BESS projects by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work
  • Develop unit pricing based on production rates and subcontractor input, and man-hour data, incorporating historical data from estimates, cost data, indexes, subcontracts, productivity analysis reports
  • Maintain files of working documents as back-up for estimate figures, and review major equipment specifications to determine cost impacts associated with new technology
  • Interface with owner, contractor, design team, and project managers to provide cost data regarding project feasibility
  • Review third party pricing proposals for accuracy and gaps

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Four-year degree or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related construction estimating experience
  • Minimum 5 years of estimating experience estimating BOP costs for utility scale wind, solar, and BESS projects, with a proven track record of estimating construction project costs

Act as a subject matter expert and leader, collaborating with internal departments and external partners throughout the project lifecycle
  • SCADA Specifications & Design: Develop SCADA, PPC, and EMS architecture for new projects. Review SCADA and PV network engineering design drawings and plan commissioning for renewable energy projects
  • Subject Matter Expertise & Commissioning: Lead as the SCADA and Controls expert, manage assigned projects, provide advice on SCADA options in contracts, and assist in commissioning renewable energy projects, including hands-on work if needed

Support the implementation of the ENGIE Industrial Control System - Cyber Security framework and manage external engineering firms and subcontractors for project execution

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation and Controls, Electrical is preferred from an ABET- accredited university or comparable field of study, technical knowledge through demonstrated work experience with a solid understanding of Automation & Control, SCADA design for power generation plants, and/or utility systems
