Purpose of the Job 

The Senior Business Transformation Analyst’s role is to support in the delivery of initiatives aligned with ENGIE’s Strategy. They will drive, plan, design, develop & launch efficient business processes 

and operating models that support all functions across the business. This will be achieved through leading a 

team of Transformation Analysts to reduce cost to serve, improve customer journeys and support the delivery of key programmes. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of Transformation Analysts. 
  • Support the Change Manager to impact assess the level of analytics required and subsequent resource planning for all new change initiatives / key programmes. 
  • Ensuring benefit cases have been captured across each initiative / project & assessing benefit realisation following deployment. 
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement that reduces cost to serve and improves the customers end to end journey. 
  • Support the business in understanding and creating high performing teams 
  • Continually develop the Transformation Analysts in the latest tools and technics 
  • Ensuring all business improvements / changes consider the customer at the centre of all delivery, apply lean principles throughout. 
  • Ensuring business end to end process documents and operational guides are updated in preparation for business change. 
  • Having strong technical skills, business intelligence, and a full understanding of the needs of the customer. 
  • Adherence to internal change processes and risk frameworks. 


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Educated to A-level standard, degree level or equivalent - preferred but not essential 
  • Good writing/communication (GCSE English, Maths) 
  • Desirable to have or be undertaking learning towards certification in Lean / Lean Six Sigma / Scrum / IIBA /Change Management. 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience of identifying and implementing business improvements, demonstrating the ability to influence and motivate. 
  • Previous experience of the Energy Industry desirable, preferably Electricity & Gas in a B2B market. 
  • Proven ability to organise and produce work to tight deadlines.

Key deliverables: 

  • Content creation and channel management

  • With support from the comms team, create and own social media content plans which share and amplify content from across our businesses 
  • With support from the comms team, create and post social media assets, monitoring our feeds and escalating where responses are needed 
  • Own the UK Sharepoint intranet site and keep pages up to date with content  
  • Creation of general comms collateral when required, including colleague emails, presentations, blogs, articles, posters, assets etc 
  • Support with the creation of communications plans, both internal and external  

Measurement  

  • Report on engagement stats from our various channels such as read rates, click throughs etc  
  • Create and collate survey feedback  

Administration 

  • Help to arrange town halls, webinars and other events/meetings 
  • Help to arrange company conferences/offsites  
  • Support with the editorial planner and annual comms planner  
  • Issue communications to the business  
  • Support the business with communications needs as required  

 
Qualifications & Experience: 

  • At least two/three years of communications experience, ideally within the energy sector  
  • Comfortable working at pace within a complex matrix environment  
  • Experience in a multinational organisation  
  • Degree or formal qualification in relevant subject 

 

Knowledge And Skills: 

  • Outstanding writer, able to write for different audiences and make the complex simple

What You Can Expect

ENGIE North America is hiring a Battery Storage Technician for our Chillingham Solar / Storage project located near Temple, TX.  

 

Your daily responsibilities begin with performing High Voltage (HV) switching, substation, and HV equipment lockouts and grounding tasks. Demonstrate the consistent use of Root Cause Failure Analysis techniques when solving plant abnormalities and equipment failures. You will manage documentation, update parts inventory, and as well as submit on-site status reports, including daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, and initiate work orders for equipment repairs. Perform routine inspections such as, prepare oil analysis samples, safely using tools (e.g hot sticks, multimeter, and IR Camera). Assist with equipment operation training for contractors and other site employees. Manage and coordinate work on-site between different contractors, vendors and BESS service providers ensuring quality work, is completed safely and promptly.

 

  • Actively participate in the behavior-based safety program and ensure every team member and contractor complies with all safety procedures and applicable task-oriented job safety analyses
  • Ensure site safety rules are communicated and adhered to through Site-Specific Orientations, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Meetings
  • Demonstrate procedural compliance in all site operation and maintenance activities by utilizing established procedures
  • Ensure site equipment is kept at the highest possible standard maximizing availability, reliability, efficiency, and profitability
  • Perform electrical testing using appropriate PPE and procedures
  • Perform the housekeeping functions and equipment cleaning necessary to maintain the site in a clean and neat condition
  • Recommend operating and/or maintenance changes that will enhance plant performance and availability

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum two (2) years diploma in a technical program where you have learned electrical or instrumentation controls, electrical theory, understand reading blue prints and schematics, industrial electrical equipment including breaker, disconnects, transformers, contactors
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in any or BESS sites, Solar generation sites, Wind generation sites, Thermal power plants, Manufacturing or Mining operations, or Controls & Instrumentation Maintenance
  • Proficient in using and maintaining SCADA systems
  • Capacity to be on call as deemed necessary by supervisor

 

 

Additional Details

  • This is a field position requiring daily travel to client site(s)
  • Must be available to travel domestically to support other support operations at other ENGIE Renewable Generation ( Solar, Wind and Storage sites

What You Can Expect

ENGIE North America is hiring a Solar Technician for our Solar Site located near Temple, TX.  

 

Your daily responsibilities begin with accessing tasks via SCADA, Maximo, or various SAP software systems and repairing, troubleshooting, and fulfilling technical repair work orders for solar panels. You will manage documentation, update parts inventory, and as well as submit on-site status reports, including daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, and initiate work orders for equipment repairs.

 

  • Coordination of high voltage switching activities with local utilities and independent system operators (ISO), which includes tasks like substation operations, equipment lockouts and grounding
  • Adhere to safety protocols such as conducting Site-Specific Orientations, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and safety meetings
  • While you will primarily work independently on-site, there will always be a nearby technician for safety support; the site's team comprises of a site manager, a Balance of Plant technician, and the solar technician. You will also be a part of an on-call rotation for outages and emergencies; therefore, you must reside within 50 miles of the site.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum two (2) years diploma in a technical program where you have learned AC/ DC electrical theory, understand reading blue prints and schematics, industrial electrical equipment including breaker, disconnects, transformers, contactors
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in Solar generation sites, Wind generation sites
  • Manufacturing or Mining operations, or Controls & Industrial Maintenance
  • Must have or be willing to obtain certification by AVO as substation technician within 12 months of hire date
  • Capacity to be on call as deemed necessary by supervisor

 

 

Additional Details

  • This is a field position requiring daily travel to client site(s)
  • Must be available to travel domestically to other solar plants for emergencies and assist with outages
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record to drive company vehicle on and around the plant
  • Must be willing and able to comply with ENGIE’s policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testing

  • Ensure the reliable operation of ENGIE renewable assets, to include maintaining continual communication with on-site personnel and Asset Managers 
  • Implement and coordinate ENGIE asset outages as needed to support preventive and corrective maintenance
  • During abnormal system operating conditions or when sites have individual problems, evaluate the situation, direct and coordinate the solution in collaboration with on-site personnel and ROCC supervision
