What You Can Expect

As our Health and Safety Intern, at The Ohio State University, you will be responsible for providing support to the Environmental Health and Safety Representative.

 

Every day you will assist in in all aspects of the ENGIE Health & Safety Program including, but not limited to:

 

    • Assisting with incident investigation and monthly indicator reporting
    • Review and disposition of safety Good Catch reports
    • Identifying potential hazards within the work environment
    • Participating in leadership safety walks
    • Employee training
    • Capital Improvement project risk assessment and consultations

 

You will report to the Environmental Health and Safety Representative. The internship work term will be January 6th, 2025 - May 30th, 2025, 10-20 hours per week minimum.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You are a junior or senior working toward a Bachelor’s degree in the Environmental Science or a related field, at The Ohio State University
  • You can organize and prioritize work, while handling multiple tasks
  • You can communicate effectively, both written and verbally
  • You have experience with the software included in the Microsoft Office Suite will be helpful, particularly word processing, spreadsheets and database programs

What You Can Expect

As our Project Management Senior Advisor, you will be responsible for the technical development, administration and implementation of energy system projects related to new partnerships with universities or commercial and industrial entities, that aim at reducing carbon and energy consumptions. These energy systems encompass the production and distribution of electricity, chilled water, heating hot water, and steam, along with the distribution of natural gas.

 

Every day you will lead the delivery of large capital projects safely, on budget, on time, and meet high quality standards, within the Energy Solutions North America business unit.

 

  • For business development projects or acquisitions, this role will heavily coordinate with the Major Projects team composed of contracts managers, project managers, engineering, project management office, the business development team, and all other support functions.

 

  • For large projects at existing partnerships, this role will liaise with and provide best practice sharing to the other members of the capital projects team including, but not limited to, Georgetown University in Washington, DC, Iowa University in Iowa City, IA and Ohio State University in Columbus, OH.

 

You will report to the Vice President of Major Capital Projects & IPOS.        

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You will possess a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Technical discipline, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • You will need a minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience in project management
  • You have experience leading design/engineering firms, construction contractors, qualified equipment vendors, and suppliers to ensure projects are executed on time, under budget, with no health, safety, environmental, and public relations incidents
  • You will hire and manage the project team including internal staff and external consultants required to deliver large industrial projects and provide lateral management to other ENGIE employees supporting the project
  • You will develop and update project definition documents, including but not limited to, scope, schedule, budget forecasts, resource requirements, risk registers, and benefit estimates. Diligently assess any potential savings to reach the best return on investment for the client
  • You will demonstrate flexibility to changing business and project conditions, develop and present alternative solutions to problems, and recommend a course of action to maintain project scope, schedule, and budget
  • You will measure project performances relying on KPI’s for engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and start-up to report at minimum monthly, identifying variances and taking corrective actions to achieve project objectives
  • You will provide regular reports to ENGIE leadership with key statistics, and summary reports
  • You will establish stakeholder management plans to understand needs and expectations and to ensure effective communication with all stakeholders throughout the project
  • You will implement quality control processes to confirm project deliverables meet the required standards and conduct regular quality audits and inspections
  • You will collaborate in the development of processes and tools necessary to measure, analyze, and improve the performance of the portfolio of projects and report results to key stakeholders. Support the standardization of ENGIE’s project management tools, templates, and technologies
  • You will develop relationships with the ENGIE subsidiaries and our partners and encourage knowledge sharing across the teams

The Project Management Senior Advisor position is responsible for providing overall management of projects from initial development through final engineering design, construction and final commissioning of the project and project closeout. This position focuses on renewable energy, energy efficiency, and process upgrade projects for Publice Sector, Industrial, and Water/Wastewater Treatement Plant clients. 

 

As the Project Management Senior Advisor you will work with ENGIE’s Business Development, Operations, Procurement, and Asset Management teams, as well as engineering partners and installation subcontractors. You must have experience managing large, complex, construction projects, preferably design-build. 

 

You’ll be assigned as the primary manager of all phases of a project, with the objective of developing and completing projects on time and within budget, while maintaining quality, safety, and cash management standards and producing strong customer satisfaction.

 

This position is located in Orange, Pasadena, or Riverside, California and reports to the Director of Project Management.

 

General

  • Manage all aspects of complex $10M – $75M+ Engineer / Procure / Construct (EPC) projects, including project development, scoping, contracting, risk management, planning, budgeting, scheduling, quality control, safety, and client satisfaction
  • Manage the internal project team including project engineers, on-site construction managers and project coordinators, commissioning engineers and other subject matter experts
  • Serve as a primary customer contact during the entire development and implementation process, striving for their complete satisfaction with ENGIE’s services

Project Development

  • Support ENGIE Business Development in generating new business. Attend customer presentations and interviews as needed, including board and council meetings
  • Create, maintain and manage a portfolio of projects
  • Actively manage the project team through regular meetings to assign tasks and responsibilities, and discuss/document project updates, needs and progress

Construction

  • Manage projects to assure each project is delivered within established budgets and schedules
  • Create a procurement plan in collaboration with project team and internal ENGIE procurement
  • Manage the procurement of ENGIE-provided major equipment and associated supply agreements

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of a four (4) year degree in mechanical, electrical, civil or environmental engineering; construction management or related field will be considered
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in the public sector, industrial, or municipal Water/Wastewater industries, with a progression of responsibilities including project development and delivery
  • Advanced level skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy
  • Demonstrated leadership, networking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt in a demanding, ever-changing environment
  • A track record of mentorship and training of project team members

Nel Ruolo di Manutentore Elettrico riporterai al Contract Manager e, in coordinamento con il team Industrial & Facility Energy Services, ti occuperai delle le attività di manutenzione ordinaria e straordinaria relative all’impiantistica Civile e industriale dei presidi del Cliente a te  assegnato.

 

Quali saranno le tue responsabilità?

 

•Attività di manutenzione ordinaria e straordinaria su impianti elettrici di media tensione (Cabine MT, Trasformatori MT/BT)

•Attività di manutenzione ordinaria e straordinaria su impianti elettrici di bassa tensione

•Conduzione e manutenzione impianti elettrici

TRACTEBEL-Engie Chile, is seeking a Commissioning Lead Coordinator (above +15 years of experience) to join our site team in Santiago.

Candidates must have english language skills to work in a multicultural environment and international projects (Interview will be in English language).

This position requires a detailed understanding of commissioning coordination to oversee and manage the commissioning process for large-scale, mission-critical projects within a multidisciplinary team.

 

Responsibilities:

- Commissiong Coordination: Act as the lead for commissioning activities, coordinating across multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment with project timelines and specifications. Aligned with the client's commissioning standards and in coordination with the commissioning agents designated by the client.

- Commissioning Planning: Develop and review commissioning plans, testing procedures, and documentation to support seamless project execution.

- Quality Assurance: Oversee quality control processes during commissioning, reviewing field - testing results, and providing technical guidance to ensure standards are met.

Issue Resolution: Manage and resolve technical issues that arise during the commissioning phase, - coordinating with cross-functional teams and vendors for timely resolution.

- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all commissioning activities, maintaining open lines of communication with internal teams, contractors, and client representatives.

- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks during the commissioning phase, implementing corrective actions as necessary to maintain project integrity.

- Handover Process: Ensure that all commissioning activities are completed to the satisfaction of stakeholders and that systems are ready for operational handover.

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Eng., Mechanical Eng.or equivalent.

- 15 years experience Commissioning industrial critical projects (GIS & AIS Substation, data center, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, oil & gas, petrochemical, laboratory, power, water etc.).

- Fluent English and Spanish Proficiency: Required for effective communication with international and local teams and clients.

- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of commissioning processes, systems, and protocols within a complex construction environment.

- Knowledge of Electrical equipment, cooling system, water system, backup diesel generators and fire fighting system.

- Physically able to work on site construction environment

This position requires a detailed understanding of HVAC Controls, Electrical SCADA, common industrial communication protocols (Ethernet, BACnet and MODBUS), common electrical communication protocols (DNP 3.0, IEC 61850 and RS485), Fire detection system, Video Surveillance and Access Control systems, controls sequence of operation (SOO), BMS (Building Management System) and PMS (Power Monitoring System).

 

Responsibilities:

- Design and Engineerings Support: Provide expertise in design and field engineering, supporting each project phase from initial planning through final commissioning. Documentation and Review: - - Prepare and review project documentation, including technical drawings, budgets, schedules, and commissioning reports. Ensure all records meet required standards and are submitted for project review.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders and project teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination across all project areas.

- 8+ years of experience involved in industrial critical projects (GIS Substation, data center, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, oil & gas, petrochemical, laboratory, power, water etc.).

- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems in large-scale construction projects and ability to oversee multidisciplinary teams effectively.

- Full professional fluency in English is required. as it’s need to communicate complex technical concepts clearly with international stakeholders, vendors, and teams.

- Proven track record in hyperscale and mission-critical projects, preferably within the data center or - Controls Industrial projects.
