Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the software planning sessions, together with product managers and engineers to discuss delivery time estimates, risks and key practical considerations such as technical debt, feasibility at scale etc.
  • Own initiative and complete it from start to finish, provide guidance to other engineers and deliver a complete solution subject to all engineering best practices, timeline considerations and potential dependencies in the software with no supervision.
  • Represent technical team in business conversations and work closely with stakeholders to deliver solutions which fit the needs of the business and provide fairly accurate effort estimates and risk assessment
  • Participate in Peer-Review, ensuring high quality software solutions with a minimum of bugs and unforeseen side-effects
  • Participate and strongly contribute to architectural discussion on important areas of software that impact performance and reliability of our software. Identify and communicate risk in approaches or implementation details, technical debt, assumptions, etc.
  • Contribute to change of processes, adoption of best industry practices and mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
  • Provide support where engineering intervention is required (e.g. due to bugs or performance problems)

Qualifications 

  • Bachelors or Masters in a relevant engineering discipline (Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science are preferred)
  • 4+ years of practical experience in software engineering
  • Programming language proficiency in Ruby and Rails and front-end/JavaScript frameworks (React, Agular, Vue)
  • HTML4/5, CSS3, AJAX along with strong knowledge of DOM TDD in Ruby/Rails
  • Experience creating and maintaining scalable web applications: Background Jobs, Event Queues, Containerization, Linux
  • Experience on high availability, observability and structured logging
  • API design to scale in Ruby (REST, GraphQL, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of Databases (MySQL) and object relational mappers (ActiveRecord) and their implementation design patterns
  • Appreciation for detailed source code documentation and organized code structuring
  • Software deployment pipelines and best practice (CI/CD)
  • Excellent knowledge of computer algorithms and solid computer science fundamentals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 5 years of experience in developing large production grade web applications with Ruby on Rails
  • Forward thinking with ability to recognize the impact of technology in business
  • Strong software engineering and architectural patterns background (MVC, MVP, CQRS, DDD, SOLID, hexagonal, Microservices)
  • Knowledge of container orchestration using Kubernetes (and associated tools such as Kops, Ksync, Telepresence, Terraform...), is a strong advantage

Overview

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated OT Cyber Security Engineer to support and manage cyber security for our solar and wind power plants located across India. The ideal candidate should be proficient in SCADA systems, PLC Devices, RTU devices, firewall & network infrastructure, and OT cyber security frameworks. This role requires adherence to Group guidelines, implementation of CEA requirements, Govt Compliance and strong collaboration with project teams to meet cyber security needs for new & existing projects.

 

Purpose & Function

 

The OT Security Engineer is responsible for safeguarding industrial control systems (ICS) and critical infrastructure from cyber threats. This role involves conducting risk assessments, implementing security measures, responding to security incidents, and ensuring compliance and Industrial standards to ensure the secure operation of OT environments.
The successful candidate is expected to be working closely in collaboration with the local sites, AMEA Hub, Group offices, Site Engineers, and other members of the organization, including vendors and contractors to deliver the OT Security scope effectively.

 

Key Responsibilities
•Oversee the cyber security infrastructure of 2+ Gigawatt renewable energy plants distributed throughout India.
•Administer and manage various SCADA systems including Schneider SCADA, ABB SCADA, Citect SCADA, and Aviva SCADA.
•Ensure compliance with relevant Industrial and policies & standards. Regularly review and update Operating Manual, Procedures and work instructions.
•ICS & OT Framework implementation activities across all sites.
•Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
•Develop Dashboards for all sites for monthly compliance monitoring.
•Assist in managing the MOC processes for changes to OT systems, including MOC creation, approvals, implementation, and close-out processes.
•Develop and maintain a System Life Cycle & Obsolescence plan for the sites.
•Provide first line of support for monitoring to detect unusual activities and potential threats.
•Lead and drive Continuous Improvements initiatives in OT Security deliveries in all Assets.
•Implement and manage Fortinet firewalls and Cisco switches to ensure robust network security.
•Manage LAN/WAN operations, including routing, switching, and network drawing management.
•Handle Windows Server management, Windows client administration, application installation, and management.
•Perform server hardening and IT infrastructure hardening.

Qualifications :-

 

•Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, IT, or a related field.
•Well versed with ISA/IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIST framework
•Extensive experience with SCADA systems (Schneider, ABB, Citect, Aviva).
•Strong knowledge in firewall (Fortinet) and network infrastructure (Cisco).

The GET program aims to deliver the future business and IT core model with a central “one ERP / One ARIBA / One MDG” platform. The functional context of the program covers a set of functional areas including accounting, controlling and procurement as main areas, recently extended to Business modules.

The GET program offers a unique opportunity to onboard on one of the most ambitious and strategic Enterprise transformation programs with a very high IT footprint with S/4 & SAP ARIBA as central IT components. Innovation is at the heart of GET Program with an ambition to implement a best in class processes & solution.

 

The RUN Project Manager role is to reinforce GET IT Team, and within the GBS IT SAP Center of Excellence be accountable for the projects for the GET RUN, such as major evolutions and enhancements, upgrades.

 

As the Teamleader role you are managing the local team located in India to manage our GET RUN supplier.

 

A SAP project manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing SAP implementation projects from start to finish. This role involves working closely with stakeholders, team members, and SAP consultants to ensure that project objectives are met on time and within budget.

 

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the local SAP CoE team located in India
  • Define the project scope and develop the plans, timelines and budget
  • Identifying project risks and developing mitigation strategies
  • Coordinating project resources and tasks
  • Monitoring project progress and conducting regular status meetings
  • Communicating project updates to stakeholders
  • Ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards
  • Managing change requests and scope changes
  • Providing leadership and direction to project team members
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Conducting post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement

The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong background in project management, along with experience working with SAP software and a proven track record of effectively handling and delivery value-driven IT projects over the SAP environments. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are also essential for success in this position.

 

Position requirements

  • 12-15 years experience on Project Management on SAP environments with at least 3 years of experience
  • Knowledge of Ariba and S4Hana for modules FI, CO, MM, PM, SD, PS
  • Fluent English (oral/written), French is a plus

Main Responsibilities:

  • Participation in IT/IS projects and initiatives related to the company’s commercial activities, with a focus on digitalization and process automation.

The profile:

  • Higher education (MSc or higher degree), preferably in computer science, math, energy or economics
  • Experience working with business-supporting systems and large datasets.
  • Knowledge of architectural patterns and system IT system modelling with UML/BPMN usings CASE tools (Enterprise Architect).
  • Proven programming skills in languages such as Python/R and experience with at least one strongly typed OOP language (e.g., Java/C#/C++).
  • Experience with systems integration topics (different operating systems, cloud environments, middleware, communication technologies, APIs, SQL etc)
  • Deep understanding of the Polish electricity market mechanisms and renewable energy specifics is desirable.
  • Knowledge in statistics and machine learning is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar role.
  • Interpersonal skills for teamwork and effective communication.
  • Eagerness to acquire new knowledge and diligence in executing assigned tasks.
  • High motivation and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency in both Polish and English (at least intermediate level) for verbal and written communication.

As the IT– Operational Technology (OT) System Operations Senior in Houston, Texas for ENGIE North America you will be responsible for installing, managing and upgrading systems and servers within the IT-OT environment. Ideally you will possess advanced knowledge in Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance, demonstrating proficiency in resolving intricate IT challenges. Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory for user and group management, as well as knowledge of group policy principles.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or related field of study

  • Minimum of five (5) years of IT Server Operations, with experience in Operational Technology (OT)/ Industry Control Systems (ICS) being beneficial to the success of the role
  • Robust computer and networking skills, and thorough knowledge of networking concepts, principals, and best practices

What You Can Expect

As our Application Management Advisor in Houston, Texas, Boston, Massachusetts, Columbus, Ohio or Washington, DC for ENGIE North America to play a crucial role in operating and maintaining Energy Solutions applications portfolio and creating application road maps.
