SUMMARY:

Key member of the Global Finance Services team providing insight and analysis of financial data and interacting with financial systems to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the reporting process.

 

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the Global Finance team with reporting monthly actuals, updating forecasts and developing the annual budget
  • Compile data from multiple sources and develop variance analysis to provide understanding of operational and financial performance
  • Deconstructs financial information (e.g. underlying performance, variances vs. budget/forecast) into usable information for cross-functional leaders to make effective, financially-based decisions.
  • Perform the input of financial and operational data in financial systems and reconcile results across multiple systems to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Gain expertise of the company’s financial applications including Workday Adaptive Planning, RISE (BPC), SAP and serve as a single point of contact for managing the financial data
  • Responsible for performing special projects to improve process efficiency and performance.
  • Prepare and analyze financial models using MS Excel; produce monthly financial reports as requested
  • Demonstrated communication and presentation skills working with team members in the United States, Europe and Asia Pacific across multiple peer groups and levels of management
  • Perform analytics on an ad hoc basis

QUALIFICATIONS

 

 

Education/Certification/Knowledge

  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with Excel modeling
  • Previous experience with finance operations in a global company or shared services setting preferred

What You Can Expect

As the IT– Operational Technology (OT) System Operations Senior in Houston, Texas for ENGIE North America you will be responsible for installing, managing and upgrading systems and servers within the IT-OT environment. Ideally you will possess advanced knowledge in Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance, demonstrating proficiency in resolving intricate IT challenges. Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory for user and group management, as well as knowledge of group policy principles.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or related field of study

  • Minimum of five (5) years of IT Server Operations, with experience in Operational Technology (OT)/ Industry Control Systems (ICS) being beneficial to the success of the role
  • Robust computer and networking skills, and thorough knowledge of networking concepts, principals, and best practices
  • Expert at managing and supporting Microsoft Windows OS technology, including Microsoft Active Directory

As our Senior Advisor, DG Origination, you will lead the strategy and market analysis for contracting ENGIE’s community solar portfolio.   • Develop and execute offtake strategies for ENGIE’s Community Solar projects, including determining optimal contracting mechanisms, managing customer and aggregator relationships, evaluating bid requests, preparing proposals, negotiating agreements, and driving transactions to closure
  • Collaborate with ENGIE’s project development and delivery teams, ensuring customer-focused project attributes are communicated, and leading internal support teams through complex sales processes to closing
  • Stay informed about community solar opportunities and national industry trends, assessing their impact on the competitiveness and future of community solar projects
  • Manage the Advisor, Community Solar Programs; Sr. Analyst, Community Solar Partnerships; and Intern/VIE, and represent ENGIE at national renewable energy events as a speaker, panelist, and industry leader

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Organizational Management, Environmental Policy, Political Science, Business, Economics or related field
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in energy industry; preferably in renewable energy
  • You have a proven record of accomplishment in renewable or community solar origination with a deep network of community solar aggregators, customers, and brokers across the United States

Your mission

 

As a BIM Engineer in our Infrastructures department you will contribute to our mission every day by playing a crucial role in developing and optimizing structural designs through advanced 3D modelling and parametric approaches. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and modelers to deliver innovative infrastructure projects, such as bridges, tunnels, roads, and public spaces. 

 

Your key responsibilities  
 

  • Lead and develop 3D structural models for infrastructure projects, including bridges, tunnels, and civil constructions, using Tekla Structures.
  • Implement parametric design approaches with tools like Rhinoceros and Grasshopper to optimize project efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate models across different engineering disciplines and ensure integrated project designs.
  • Participate in the technical design of complex infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards.
  • Ensure accurate and detailed modeling of reinforcements and structural elements in line with project specifications.
  • Engage with external partners, clients, and colleagues to provide constructive input and maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest BIM technologies and practices, continuously improving the design process through innovation and technical expertise.

 
We would love to hear from people with 

 

  • A degree as industrial engineer.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in BIM Engineering and scripting.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, Tekla Structures, Rhinoceros and Grasshopper.
  • Knowledge of Solibri or Navisworks are a plus.
  • Knowledge of a programming language (Python, C#,…) is a plus.

What You Can Expect

As the Retail Operations, Analyst II - Cash you will be responsible for, but not limited to, learning, and supporting the products we sell, applicable tax rules, regulatory compliance requirements, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns that impact billing accuracy. As the Analyst II you will be exposed to and be expected to contribute to key billing functions within independent and cross functional team projects. The analyst role should be capable of working with our third-party vendors, both independently and in a team, environment as needed, to provide best in class customer service for our internal and external customers. 

 

  • Manage all retail invoicing and validation aspects for ENGIE’s Retail C&I (Commercial & Industries) customers
  • Act as the main point of contact to research and resolve billing disputes and provide timely resolution on any issues
  • Deliver complete, accurate analysis on complex issues and propose appropriate course of action to the impacted internal and external parties
  • Apply business judgement in dealing with customer issues, billing problems, and data requests
  • Develop strategic data analysis in support of operations and quality improvement initiatives
  • Implement new measures to improve quality control process for outgoing invoices
  • Monitor changes to billing determinants and incorporate into billing process
  • Research and correct discrepancies between our internal data warehouse and external billing system
  • Provide data collection and reporting assistance during internal and external audits
  • Maintain open lines of communication with Compliance group to assure all Business Control regulatory and internal requirements are met / exceeded
  • Provide cross-functional support to peers and departments to develop satisfactory end-to-end delivery processes
  • Assist manager on various projects that involve system enhancements, product development, and market changes
  • Achieve excellence by delivering on key performance indicators (KPI’s)
  • Train new team members and constantly review the training materials to ensure these documents are updated and relevant

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a total of six (6) years’ experience in a business environment

  • Minimum of 2 years of analytical experience in a business environment

Compensation

Salary Range: $53,900 – $83,375 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

The opportunity:

 

Would you like to contribute to the delivery of the ENGIE Battery and Energy Storage (BESS) strategy in Australia?

 

The applicant will join the project delivery team to manage the delivery of energy generation assets from the lead-up to financial close, to the commencement of commercial operations.

 

The role will be accountable to the Head of Project Delivery and the role can be worked flexibly between home and our modern Southbank office.  Travel to project sites will be necessary as required.

 

The successful applicant will have a proven track record in delivering construction of energy generation or storage projects in Australia on time and within budget. You will be collaborative and possess a can-do mindset.

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee the execution of new power generation and storage projects
  • Ensure high level governance and delivery of project milestones focusing on health and safety and quality standards
  • Manage major contracts, project schedules, budgets and stakeholder engagement
  • Utilise project management methodologies to achieve intended outcomes
  • Actively identify and mitigate project risks, issues, dependencies and constraints and tackle them head-on
  • Build, motivate and lead a project team to achieve outstanding results
  • Manage key internal and external stakeholders including regulatory agencies and government bodies.

 

 About you:

  • Demonstrated experience in project delivery (construction) in renewable energy projects, and ideally BESS
  • Mature understanding and practical experience in principles of project management as they relate to engineering and construction
  • Ability to manage a diverse set of operational and corporate stakeholders
  • Strong problem solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Passion for renewable energy and wishing to invest yourself long term in a company that is leading the energy transition globally
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline or related field is desirable but not mandatory
