What You Can Expect

As the IT Advisor at ENGIE North America, based in Houston, TX, you will serve as a key link between IT & Digital and various business departments, supporting ENGIE’s zero-carbon transition in North America. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and supporting technology solutions that enhance business insight and financial foresight, while also providing strategic guidance and project management in assigned areas. As a highly motivated leader, you will leverage your expertise in both financial consolidation and technology, integrating complex data to drive analytics, budgeting, and forecasting solutions that support ENGIE’s long-term objectives.

 

Reporting to the Applications Systems Manager, your duties will include:

 

  • Serve as a key liaison between IT and Finance, addressing consolidation and reporting questions, issues, enhancement requests, and project deliverables
  • Collaborate with stakeholders—including internal teams, external partners, and third-party software vendors—to deliver effective solutions
  • Analyze, extract, transform, load, and model data and master data to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Identify, analyze, and remediate data and master data inconsistencies, driving timely resolution with Finance and IT resources, especially during Close and Budget cycles
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation, methodically improving data integrity and consistency
  • Provide training and support to super users and end users, particularly during the budgeting process
  • Develop a deep understanding of business verticals, horizontal functions, and support needs, ensuring tailored solutions
  • Act as a backup for other Corporate Applications team members as needed
  • Work effectively in a highly metric-driven environment, balancing both IT and business function requirements
  • Adapt to evolving business needs, proactively taking on new assignments as required

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Information Technology and business operations, with a strong focus on designing, implementing, and supporting technology solutions that enhance business insight, financial forecasting, and data integration
  • Hands-on experience with consolidation platforms such as SAP BPC, SAP BFC, SAP Group Reporting, Hyperion, OneStream, or similar systems
  • Proficiency in MS SQL and other scripting/query languages for data management and reporting
  • Understanding of complex consolidation and elimination rules for both US GAAP and IFRS across US, Canada, and Europe
  • Experience in financial consolidation within large-scale corporate landscapes, managing hundreds of legal entities
  • Experience working under both Finance and IT teams, with a strong understanding of cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience working with companies engaged in multiple business activities and partnerships
  • Knowledgeable in financial reporting, partnership reporting, budgeting, and planning processes within complex business structures
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel-based data analysis and transformation
  • Knowledge of master data governance processes and lifecycle, including Accounts, Entities, Profit Centers, Cost Centers, Hierarchies, and Allocations
  • Ability to map business processes and translate them into functional and system requirements
  • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both finance professionals and technology teams, including senior management
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while maintaining a high level of accountability.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a high level of intellectual curiosity and attention to detail

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy; consisting of three (3) days in-office and two (2) days remote

Compensation

Salary Range: $113,900 – $174,570 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

What You Can Expect

As a Help Desk Advisor – Trade Floor, you will report to IT Architecture Director, Trading & Risk and you will provide technical assistance on laptops, desktops and networking in a fast-paced trading environment.

 

Your responsibilities include but aren’t limited to: imaging laptops, migrating users, hardware deployments, troubleshooting hardware/ software and working in a cross domain environment. Develop team as organizational growth warrants.

 

  • Respond to internal customers calling to report problems and resolve technical problems

What You Can Expect

The Director of Processes and Projects will report directly to the Supply & Energy Management (SEM) - US VP of Commercial Operations. What You Can Expect
Collaborating with the Retail Operations Senior Analyst to utilize various tools and applications aimed at minimizing credit risk exposure and credit losses through the accurate and timely management of disconnect and reconnect processes. Specialize in the collection of debt owed

  • Generate weekly Accounts Receivable reports in ARC to create batches for overdue ERCOT and non-ERCOT accounts 
  • Ensure batches are generated and submitted to a third-party vendor for the distribution of customer dunning notices via email and mail 
  • Collaborate with relevant teams—including sales, legal, digital, cash application, billing, and others—to address and resolve customer issues 
  • Provide analytical support and conduct ad hoc analysis for the top 20 Resources and EP&G accounts 
  • Conduct research and generate reports for various dashboards and PowerPoint presentations 
  • Participate in key departmental projects and actively engage in cross-functional teams to support quality improvements, processes, and initiatives 
  • Create a cerebro ticket concerning failed jobs, inaccurate data, report enhancements, and system enhancements 
  • Collect and analyze data for UCB cleanup across Resources and EP&G

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A BS/BA from an accredited four-year college or university OR HS Diploma and 5+ years of work experience in an analyst role which includes financial reporting and analysis

What You Can Expect

Under the supervision of the EEMNA Risk Director, as a Middle-Office Analyst, Risk & Finance, you will be responsible for supporting daily MtM (Mark-to-Market) reporting, Profilt & Loss (P&L) validation, and sign-off monitoring. This role ensures the consistent and accurate publication of daily Risk & Performance Reports, assists in book structure management across multiple legal entities, and maintains strict adherence to trader risk mandates. By estimating and modeling various reserves (credit, liquidity, inception, model, intermittency, shape, volume), validating forward/settlement curves, and creating data-driven reports, this position is crucial in supporting the overall financial performance and risk management of the organization. Additionally, you will contribute to improving Middle-Office processes and enhancing reporting capabilities through tools like Power BI.

 

Daily MtM (Mark-to-Market) Reporting

  • Perform the computation and initial validation of daily MtM values for all trading books and products.
  • Ensure timely distribution and accuracy of MtM figures to key stakeholders.

P&L Validation, Attribution, and Sign-Off

  • Validate daily P&L results and provide clear explanations by desk, KPI, and book.
  • Monitor P&L sign-off, ensuring discrepancies are investigated and escalated as needed.

Risk & Performance Reporting

  • Assist in the publication of Daily Risk & Performance Reports, maintaining high data quality and consistency.
  • Develop or update KPIs and dashboards using tools like Microsoft Power BI to enhance visibility into operational and financial performance.

Book Structure Management (Multi-Legal Entity)

  • Collaborate with Front Office, Back Office, and Accounting teams to maintain accurate book structures across multiple legal entities.
  • Support efforts to keep book hierarchies aligned with organizational requirements.

Trader Risk Mandate & Reserve Calculations

  • Monitor trader risk mandates, ensuring limit usage is tracked and any breaches are promptly reported.
  • Contribute to the estimation, modeling, and computation of various reserves, including credit, liquidity, inception, model, intermittency, shape, and volume reserves.

Forward and Settlement Curves Validation (Price Control)

  • Validate and benchmark forward and settlement curves, ensuring consistency with market data.
  • Assist with overseeing exotic parameters such as hourly shape factors, scalar ratios, and B/A spreads for liquidity reserves.

Process Automation & Reporting Improvements

  • Participate in initiatives to automate Middle-Office processes, improving the accuracy and efficiency of data capture and reporting.
  • Collaborate with IT to implement and maintain Power BI reports, ensuring user-friendly interfaces and reliable data sources.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Front Office, Credit, Market Risk, and Operational Risk teams to manage exceptions and align on valuation methodologies.
  • Work closely with Legal, Finance, and Accounting to maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Audit & Compliance

  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors on controls related to MtM, P&L, and reserve calculations.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory requirements, internal policies, and best practices.

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of  bachelor’s degree where you completed in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in a Middle-Office or similar analytical environment within the energy or commodities sector (Gas and Power preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience with MtM reporting, P&L analysis, and risk metrics (e.g., VaR, stress testing).
  • Proficient in ETRM systems (e.g., FIS Aligne) and advanced Excel.
  • Familiarity with Power BI for reporting and data visualization.
  • Strong understanding of forward curve validation, price control processes, and exotic parameter management (shape factors, scalars).
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with Front Office, Back Office, IT, and management.
  • Highly organized, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and take initiative on process improvements

 

 

 

Additional Details

  • The temporary work term will be from April 2025 to April 2026, full-time or part-time work schedule working between 20 - 40 hours per week
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies 

 

 

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $36.00 – $55.00 USD hourly

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.
