As the Senior Enterprise Architect in Houston, Texas, for ENGIE North America, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Renewable and Flexible Power and Local Energy Infrastructures business units. You will align technology investments with the company’s strategic goals, providing technology guidance, developing roadmaps, and establishing principles, standards, and best practices to drive business value. Your role will involve collaborating with business and Information Technology (IT) leaders to balance operational demands with long-term strategic vision, ensuring that technology decisions support innovation and efficiency. In this role, you will be a key driver in ENGIE’s Enterprise Architecture (EA) program, shaping the digital landscape to optimize performance and enable sustainable growth.

 

Reporting to the Head of Portfolio Management and Innovation, your duties will include:

 

  • Enterprise Architecture Leadership – Define, guide, and oversee IT architecture to support corporate strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals. Develop and maintain enterprise-wide architecture frameworks, roadmaps, and governing principles.
  • Governance & Compliance – Lead EA governance processes, manage architectural exceptions, and establish policies, standards, and best practices. Ensure technical solutions meet conceptual completeness.
  • Strategic Consulting & Collaboration – Advise business and IT leaders on technology strategy, risks, trade-offs, and investments. Work with project teams to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture while accommodating project needs.
  • Technology & Innovation – Support the adoption of  emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends, ensuring relevance and timely deployment. Drive innovation by optimizing technology investments.
  • Communication & Training – Develop enterprise-level architecture communication plans, promote EA processes, and ensure organizational awareness. Define skill requirements for architecture teams, oversee recruitment strategy for the team, and lead training and development initiatives.
  • Budget & Resource Allocation – Collaborate with senior leadership on budget allocation for architectural initiatives critical to business success.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, system analysis, or a related field
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Information Technology and business/industry work experience including architecture design and deployment, systems lifecycle management, and infrastructure planning and operations
  • Leadership experience in managing multiple, large, cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders
  • Requires exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments
  • Knowledge of all components of holistic enterprise architecture, business re-engineering principles and processes, and basic knowledge of financial models and budgeting

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy; consisting of three (3) days in-office and two (2) days remote

Compensation

Salary Range: $113,900 – $174,570 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

What You’ll Bring

  • Develop and maintain detailed Integrated Master Project Schedules (IMS) using Primavera P6 scheduling software
  • Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect approved changes in scope, timelines, Cost, and resources
  • Coordinate with project managers, team members, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for schedule updates
  • Identify potential scheduling conflicts, trends, and provide recommendations for resolution through variance reports and what-if scenarios
  • Prepare and present schedule reports and updates to project stakeholders and senior management on a consistent basis and/or when needed
  • Conduct schedule risk analysis and develop mitigation strategies and what-If schedules
  • Implementing earned value methodologies within a schedule framework of standardized Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Control Accounts
  • Ensure compliance with company project controls policies and procedures related to project planning and scheduling, earned value, rules of credit, among others
  • Assist in the development of project control plans, procedures, standards, and guidelines
  • Support the Director of Project Controls in various scheduling and project control activities

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Science, or a related field

Compensation

Salary Range: $131,000 – $200,790 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

What You Can Expect

As an Administrative  Assistant for the ENGIE B2B Supply business, you will provide administrative support for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Operating Officer (COO), Vice Presidents. Specifically, the role includes expense, travel, and organization assignments in support of the above listed leaders.

 

  • Perform complex and confidential administrative tasks, including those that are sensitive and confidential in nature
  • Coordinate calendars, reserve meeting space and set up meetings involving ENGIE Resources staff, other ENGIE employees, and external business partners
  • Organize and coordinate the facilitation of internal VIP visits from Global Business Unit leadership and North America Executive Committee members
  • Organize staff meetings, ad-hoc office events and employee offsite
  • Organize and prepare for meetings, including gathering documents and attending to logistics of meetings
  • Support field travel for the CEO, COO and Vice Presidents, including conferences, meetings with clients, etc.
  • Coordinate document and contract signatures with local business administrators, distribute mail, and assist with outgoing mail and FedEx
  • Prepare internal and external correspondence using professional writing skills
  • Prepare, update, and distribute:
    • Group organization chart
    • Slide decks for board meetings, all-hands presentations
  • Serve as point of contact for:
    • New office equipment and software
    • Office moves and help organize the sales & marketing teams seating arrangements for in-office staff for hybrid work schedules
  • Coordinate with Accounting and Procurement departments to ensure on-time and accurate payment of vendor invoices
  • Use COUPA to validate invoices against purchase orders
  • Use COUPA to anticipate purchase order expiration and create new purchase orders or modify existing purchase orders as may be appropriate
  • Assist other ENGIE Energy Marketing North America (EEMNA) staff in the use of COUPA for setting up purchase orders and tracking expenditures
  • Assist in manually submitting invoices to COUPA for certain vendors

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of a High School degree required
  • A minimum of five (5) years of previous administrative experience with a minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting executive level leadership
  • Expert in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with spend management
  • Excellent organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrated the highest level of customer service and response
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Experience in reviewing contracts, working with vendors and coordinating with Legal support
  • Experience in collaboratively developing and implementing administrative work flows and processes
  • Must have the ability to think analytically, present ideas professionally, and work in project teams
  • Proactively collaborate within and across business units
  • Maintain forward progress on multiple work streams and adapt to changing priorities
  • A high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience with spend management platforms such as Concur and Coupa is necessary
  • You should have experience with Microsoft programs including calendars, excel, and PowerPoint
  • You will be detail oriented, able to work with confidential information, and take initiative and anticipate the needs of the leadership
