Un/una Facility Engineer TLC & Data Center da inserire presso la sede di un nostro Cliente sita a Milano, nell’ambito della Global Business Unit LOCAL ENERGY INFRASTRUCTIONS, divisione BtoB.

Che cosa farai?

Nel Ruolo di Facility Engineer TLC & Data Center riporterai al Contract Manager e, in coordinamento con il team Industrial & Facility Energy Services, gestirai le seguenti attività.

 

Quali saranno le tue responsabilità?

  • Gestire l’attività di manutenzione ordinaria e straordinaria e riqualificazione impianti esistenti nel contratto e sito assegnato
  • Preventivazione delle opere straordinarie sugli Impianti Elettrici e Meccanici della commessa
  • Assicurare che tutte le attività vengano svolte nel pieno rispetto delle normative in materia di ambiente e sicurezza e della normativa tecnica
  • Assicurare la corretta esecuzione delle attività e relativa contabilizzazione
  • Gestione e acquisto dei ricambi necessari alla corretta manutenzione ordinaria e straordinaria.

 

Che cosa porterai in Engie?

  • Laurea in ingegneria civile/meccanica/energetica o Gestione del Costruito, o titolo di studio equipollente;
  • Esperienza pregressa di almeno due anni in attività similari;

Role Description

 

Reporting to ESP’s Managing Director and dotted-line reporting to Regional Business Development Director, the Business Development Director is responsible for achieving of the growth target of the business entity in the Philippines, from generating new business leads to project development and closure. It will require deep involvement in client engagement, technical engineering project development, financial modeling and contract negotiation.

As leader of the Business Development team, he/she will manage a team of project developers specialized in each solution cover by ENGIE Philippines portfolio including infrastructure energy solutions (District Cooling System, industrial utilities such as compressed air and steam, solar and other renewable energy solutions for commercial and industrial players) and multi-technical services such as facilities management and energy performance services, both organically or through ENGIE partnerships and joint-ventured entities in the Philippines.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop proposals for complex projects with investments and present to local and regional commitment committee for approvals. Manage a robust pipeline of opportunities with well managed prioritization and relationship with key stakeholders. Demonstrate strong commercial acumen and experience in closing contracts and promptly co-ordinate internal resources to meet challenging customer deadlines.
  • Manage, lead and grow a Business Development team located in Manilla and Cebu and comprised of Business developers, Sales engineers, Marketing specialists with various level of seniority.
  • Initiate, lead and close investment-based energy projects in a form of BOOT (Build Own Operate and Transfer) contract or PPA (Power Purchase Agreement). Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities with well managed prioritization.
  • Represent ENGIE in the Philippines market demonstrating our strong focus on customer satisfaction, employee engagement, Health Safety and Environment objectives and ethics.
  • Maintaining positive working relationships with key stakeholders and partners including local authorities, developers, landowners, consultants and contractors.
  • Ensure the appropriate follow-up of existing and new key accounts with engagement at c-levels.
  • Liaise with the regional team based in Singapore and Dubai or worldwide counterparts; both technical, legal, financial and commercial teams, to leverage support, collaboration, knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Jointly participate with the Managing Director in the Executive Committee, support monthly management meeting and reporting, including strategic business planning, financial, and business performance review.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering (Civil, Electrical or Mechanical) from an accredited university, Masters’ Degree in relevant fields would be added advantage.
  • Proven experience in similar capacities as a Business Development Leader leading a high performing team with in-depth experience in stakeholder engagements, business development, company financial, and business operations.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in the field of energy/utility infrastructure and services, energy efficiency, and district cooling plant and operations in South East Asia. Knowledge of sustainable energy, renewable energy and facility management sectors would be advantageous.
  • Outstanding organizational leadership, corporate governance and operational management skills, creative manager who is always seeking for new opportunities and new ways of doing things, with ability to lead and inspire the team towards the successful achievement of shared goals.
  • Excellent strategic business planning, vision setting, analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent presentation, especially at C-suite levels, with excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) in English and Tagalog.

JOB PURPOSE:
The Senior Engineer shall be responsible for the day to day operation of the PCMC team, to manage the resources (manpower, tools, equipment, transport) to successfully achieve the on time PPM/predictive and reacive maintenance works. To ensure quality of the works.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Plan, organize, and participate in implementing PPM/reactive works for the Huawei supplied equipments.
• Manage, Organise and prepare electrical shutdown works for MV and LV equipment and systems
• Organise and prepare MV/LV system repair/modification shutdown works.
• Carry role of Senior Engineer to manage all operating aspects of PCMC team.
• Prepare requisitions for materials required for maintenance and repair of MEP systems.
• Manage fault finding and repair on electrical/control systems within the facility, BMS systems, DCIM, UPS, LV infrastructure, MV infrastructure.
• Maintain 100% uptime of MV electrical services - ensuring redundancy in place and pre and post repairs testing is completed.
• Carry out routine testing to determine condition of MV and LV electrical systems and recommend/implement corrective actions.
• Design and install small LV electrical work projects ie. radial supply, ring supply.
• Manage the Issue PPM and CM work from CAFM system & Input of details related to maintenance and repairs.
• Hold role as Senior Authorised Person (HV&LV) countersigning switching plans for AP's.
• Operate within a safe system of work for MEP systems, prepare switching plans, PTW issue and close out, Isolation certificates, Limitation of access, maintain record of all HV switching operations.
• Work hours shift system days/nights - part of 24/7 roster.
• Ensure all works are carried in line with Company Procedures and Policies, Health and Safety, Control of Hazardous materials, in line with COSHH regulations and PPE.
SKILLS REQUIRED:

Job Purpose:

Employee in this position will undertake responsibility in maintaining the physical assets of the property, any new construction / refurbishment, maintenance, and repair of brick, cement, stone, cladding panels, glass and plaster for buldings located at depot, Vidauct structures, internal roads, pavements, fences, barriers or other station structures under the direction of Snr.Civil Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests /work orders as assigned.
  • Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications.
  • Inspect and interpret readings as required in real time, to determine areas of interest.
  • Inspect Depot & station building and other structures to determine functional system and detect malfunction and needed repair making notes and recommendation using inspection check sheet and job task.
  • Assist Engineer in preparing technical reports and site inspection reports.
  • Prepare and complete the "Planned Preventative Maintenance" for Station / Deport structures including housekeeping.
  • Set-up and calibrate all equipment used, interpret, evaluate, and document results through formal reports.
  • Follow and enforce the Company required safe work practices and procedures at all times.
  • Assist in monitoring & supervising all civil works being performed by outside contractors.
  • Responsible for 24 hours emergency maintenance service as scheduled.
  • Carry cell phones as required for on-call maintenance.
  • Monitor and maintain all depot building system, infrastructures-Roads, pavement, sidewalks, viaduct, track drainage, fences, barriers and station structures as assigned.
  • Responsible for alerting the Snr. Civil Engineer of any unusual occurrence and / or damage that have taken place or that may occur.
  • Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures and with applicable local codes, regulations, and requirements.
  • Maintain a professional courteous manner with all Dubai Tram Staffs, vendor, contractors, and fellow employees.   
  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.

Skills Required:

  • Knowledge of arithmetic and algebra.
  • A sense of urgency, good attention to detail, and follow-thru.
  • Knowledge of the standard practices, processes, tools, equipment, and materials of masonry, plastering, carpentry, excavation and backfilling.
  • Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the trade.
  • Ability to read, writes, speaks, and understands English fluently.
  • Ability to determine the quality of materials used.
  • Ability to rig and work from scaffolds.
  • Experience in using and following up operations with CAFM system.
  • Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel is required for reporting.
  • Knowledge of the local supplier market.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Other Requirements:

  • Five years of experience in the working in Facilities management Company similar postion.
  • Fluent Written and spoken English.

Job Purpose:

The MEP Technician is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of MEP systems in MBZUAI. The role involves conducting routine inspections, performing preventive and corrective maintenance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair HVAC systems, including air handling units, chillers, cooling towers, VRF, FCU & Package Units
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment, such as pumps, motors, and compressors.
  • Perform electrical maintenance on lighting, power distribution systems, control panels, and LV panels.
  • Inspect, test, and repair electrical components, wiring, and circuits to prevent system failures.
  • Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and sanitary fittings.
  • Inspect and fix leaks, pipe blockages, pumps, valves, and Calorifiers
  • Perform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance as per Job cards.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
  • Keep accurate maintenance records, reports, and logs.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and facility management teams to address maintenance needs.

 

  • Qualifications: Diploma or ITI certification in Mechanical or Electrical field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of experience in MEP maintenance
  • immediate joiner will be preferred.

Other Requirements:

  • Work may involve exposure to extreme temperatures, heights, confined spaces, and noisy environments and also the assets shifting work
  • Requires physical stamina for lifting, climbing, and manual work.
  • May include shifting work, weekends, and emergency callouts.
  • 24 & 7 rotational shifts with 12 Hours duty and 6 days a week.

Your mission 

As a Structural Design Engineer in our Infrastructure team at Tractebel, you contribute to the development of large-scale infrastructure projects, delivering innovative and efficient engineering solutions. Our team focuses on designing and optimizing infrastructure, ensuring reliability, sustainability, and technical excellence to support the transition to a cleaner and more resilient future.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • You participate in projects, together with other engineers and draftsmen;
  • You are responsible for modelling and design of various complex structures as large buildings, airports, sport centers, power projects, industrial projects;
  • You are responsible for ensuring that the hours budget, the timing and the quality of the engineering works are executed as required;
  • You will make sure that the projects assigned to you will be executed in accordance with our quality system and our H&S rules;
  • You report progress for all your projects on a weekly basis;
  • You participate in the structural design of your projects;
  • You keep up with the standards, guidelines and new techniques and developments in your discipline and report these to your team members or colleagues;
  • You respond to the requirements and needs of the client;
  • You work together with colleagues, external partners (such as architects, other design and engineering consultancy companies, contractors during the construction phase, etc.) and clients in a constructive way;
  • You have an international mindset and collaborate with our offices abroad for certain engineering tasks and take the necessary actions to guarantee the required quality;
  • You actively promote and establish BIM collaboration procedures according to our company vision where applicable;

 

We would love to hear from people with  

  • Bachelor's Degree as Civil/Structural Engineer;
  • Relevant technical experience;
  • Expertise in Revit/ Tekla/ Allplan;
  • Expertise in Autocad.
  • Good communication skills;
  • Team player skills;
  • Client-oriented and flexible attitude;
  • Good knowledge of English and knowledge of French is an advantage;
  • Willingness to make international trips for our international collaboration and international projects.
