Responsbilities: 

  • Responsible for smooth and safe operations of the facility and including the the steam system and auxillaries operations.
  • Responsible for the operating status of plant by observing control system parameters, BMS, distributed control systems of the facility and including the the steam system and auxillaries operations
  • Conduct regular field inspections of plant, stations, or subsystems and equipment to ensure normal and safe operating conditions
  • Supervise and lead the boiler and plant operators to operate treatment processes according to process parameters and emission limits compliance
  • Identify plant optimization points and support  the implement of the approved tasks by the site manager.
  • Propose, append, develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures on plant operations and regular maintenance of the plant with the support of operations and maintenance team.
  • Analyse, interpret and report on steam operations data and plant performance on periodic and timely basis;
  • Recover plant process upsets, equipment malfunctions
  • Conducting regualr inspection and testing of equipment to ensure it is safe and operating efficiently.
  • Ensure and followup on the CMMS for logs of maintenance activities and repair procedures to ensure safe operation of equipment
  • Inspecting facilities for hazards such as leaks, corrosion, or exposure to extreme temperatures
  • Monitoring steam pressure and temperature levels to ensure safe operating conditions
  • Consulting with management to provide advice on how to improve efficiency of processes or reduce operating costs
  • Management and compliance of Workplace Health and Safety Act
  • Other tasks assigned by the site manager

Requirements: 

 

  • Class 2 Steam Engineer registered with MOM/ Singapore Polytechnic
  • Familiar with FMEA, HAZAOP and Job Hazard Analysis methodologies
  • Good interpersonal, management and decision-making skills
  • Strong innovative and analytical skills and problem-solving skills
  • A registered First-Aider Certification is an added advantage
  • Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behaviour

Your mission
Tractebel has been appointed as the Project Management Consultant (PMC) by a leading technology company for the construction of a data center in Belgium.
This PMC role includes the management of the construction site which includes the development and roll-out and daily implementation and supervision of the construction site safety management system. This process is led by the construction site HSE manager in close collaboration with the construction site manager. The construction site HSE manager has the lead of a team of safety supervisors/coaches.

Your key responsibilities

  •  Develop and continuously update the site HSE management system, including plans, instructions, and emergency response procedures.
  • Coordinate and advise the site management team on all HSE-related processes during construction and commissioning activities.
  • Lead efforts to foster HSE awareness within the PMC team, ensuring collective management of key HSE topics.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for HSE issues, liaising with internal teams and principal contractors.
  • Investigate incidents, including accidents, near-misses, and dangerous occurrences, to ensure appropriate corrective actions.
  • Monitor the Permit to Work (PTW) process and ensure compliance with site safety standards through regular inspections and audits.
  • Provide HSE training and support to the site team and contractors, ensuring the proper implementation of the HSE management system.

Your mission  

 

As Design Engineer in our Core & Fuel Studies department you will contribute to our mission everyday by playing a crucial role. 
The "Core and Fuel Studies" Group within the “Nuclear Processes" Competence Centre is a multidisciplinary team working both on the nuclear fuel and the preparation of the dismantling activities. As such the Core & Fuel Studies Group is in charge of the Tractebel activities related to the fuel cycle, core design, safety evaluation and core operational support for nuclear reactors for the Belgian Utility.  The team performs criticality and shielding calculation for the spent fuel, as well as activation calculations in support of the waste characterization in preparation of the dismantling activities.
To manage these activities the group is subdivided into three operational subgroups:
i)   Cycles Studies, incorporating Cycle Studies activities
ii)  Neutronic studies & Tools: incorporating all activities related to Criticality, Shielding, Activation, Residual Heat and Fuel Data Base(s)
iii) Core Multiphysics, Methods & Support, encompassing cross-cutting activities and common projects within the range of Core & Fuel Studies expertise
 

Your key responsibilities  

The team is currently looking for a Design Engineer.

While focused on neutron studies, the job includes a wide range of applications:

  • Engineering studies in the domain of core and fuel physics using industry-standard methods and simulation codes;
  •  Neutron activation studies;
  • Radiation transport and shielding calculations;
  • Spent fuel characterization;
  • Fluence, source terms and decay heat calculations;
  • Safety-criticality assessments;
  • Various neutronic studies related to spent fuel casks;
  • Writing Engineering / synthesis reports of your analyzes.

  • You have a good theoretical background of nuclear systems and core physics phenomena.

What You Can Expect

As our Senior Advisor, DG Origination, you will lead the strategy and market analysis for contracting ENGIE’s community solar portfolio.   • Develop and execute offtake strategies for ENGIE’s Community Solar projects, including determining optimal contracting mechanisms, managing customer and aggregator relationships, evaluating bid requests, preparing proposals, negotiating agreements, and driving transactions to closure
  • Collaborate with ENGIE’s project development and delivery teams, ensuring customer-focused project attributes are communicated, and leading internal support teams through complex sales processes to closing
  • Stay informed about community solar opportunities and national industry trends, assessing their impact on the competitiveness and future of community solar projects
  • Manage the Advisor, Community Solar Programs; Sr. Analyst, Community Solar Partnerships; and Intern/VIE, and represent ENGIE at national renewable energy events as a speaker, panelist, and industry leader

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Organizational Management, Environmental Policy, Political Science, Business, Economics or related field
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in energy industry; preferably in renewable energy
  • You have a proven record of accomplishment in renewable or community solar origination with a deep network of community solar aggregators, customers, and brokers across the United States

Compensation

The Construction/Engineer Intern is a critical role responsible for supporting the development and installation of energy conservation measures and renewable energy at large-scale public sector customers. You will be working in a fast-paced, team-based environment, at the direction of the Project Manager as well as their supervisor. The intern will support ongoing projects in development or in construction which will include one or more of the following:

  • Learn and apply knowledge of HVAC and Controls, including modeling software
  • Analyze utility data to verify existing customer loads, consider rate change options, and calculate energy and water cost savings
  • Evaluate various types and locations of renewable energy systems

Your mission

 

As a BIM Engineer in our Infrastructures department you will contribute to our mission every day by playing a crucial role in developing and optimizing structural designs through advanced 3D modelling and parametric approaches. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and modelers to deliver innovative infrastructure projects, such as bridges, tunnels, roads, and public spaces. 

 

Your key responsibilities  
 

  • Lead and develop 3D structural models for infrastructure projects, including bridges, tunnels, and civil constructions, using Tekla Structures.
  • Implement parametric design approaches with tools like Rhinoceros and Grasshopper to optimize project efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate models across different engineering disciplines and ensure integrated project designs.
  • Participate in the technical design of complex infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards.
  • Ensure accurate and detailed modeling of reinforcements and structural elements in line with project specifications.
  • Engage with external partners, clients, and colleagues to provide constructive input and maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest BIM technologies and practices, continuously improving the design process through innovation and technical expertise.

 
We would love to hear from people with 

 

  • A degree as industrial engineer.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in BIM Engineering and scripting.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, Tekla Structures, Rhinoceros and Grasshopper.
  • Knowledge of Solibri or Navisworks are a plus.
  • Knowledge of a programming language (Python, C#,…) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English (French is a plus).

What You Can Expect

ENGIE is hiring a Student Construction/Engineering Intern. The Construction/Engineer Intern is a critical role responsible for supporting the development and installation of energy conservation measures and renewable energy at large-scale public sector customers. You will be working in a fast-paced, team-based environment, at the direction of the Project Manager as well as their supervisor. Responsibilities in this role include the design of Energy Conservation and Renewable Energy Measures, performing site audits, specifying equipment, and completing savings calculations to support projects in development and construction. Projects include a combination of energy efficiency measures and renewable generation installations, to help local cities and counties become more sustainable, save money, and improve services to their end-users and the expectation is that one to several projects are supported from early development through post-construction.

 

The internship work term will be from on or around October 2024 to December 2024. This position is full-time receiving up to 20 hours per week. Additional hours/weeks may be available based on business needs and will be discussed in advance with your supervisor. 

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Must be enrolled at a local university or junior college
  • This position is suited for students in STEM programs or studying Environmental Sciences, Communications, Graphic Design, or Communications programs or pathways

 

 

Additional Details

  • Interns must be enrolled students in good standing at the commencement of the intern semester
  • This role requires attendance at a worksite on a three times per week basis and the possibility of some remote work

Compensation

Hourly Range:  $21.00-34.00 USD hourly

Che cosa farai?

Nel Ruolo di Contract Assistant riporterai al Contract Manager e, in coordinamento con il team Industrial & Facility Energy Services, gestirai le attività di manutenzione ordinaria e straordinaria dei Contratti a te assegnati.

Quali saranno le tue responsabilità?

  • Predisporre i preventivi e le offerte economiche per lo sviluppo dei lavori indotti di commessa
  • Assicurare la corretta esecuzione delle attività di manutenzione ordinaria e straordinaria e relativa contabilizzazione
  • Gestire il sistema di manutenzione (EAM) e relativo monitoraggio di SLA e KPI
  • Assicurare la corretta gestione e conduzione degli impianti nel rispetto dei parametri contrattuali di comfort previsti e della massima economia di servizio
  • Assicurare che tutte le attività vengano svolte nel pieno rispetto della normativa tecnica e delle normative in materia di ambiente e sicurezza
  • Gestire la direzione lavori per la manutenzione straordinaria e riqualificazione impianti esistenti
