Detailed Responsibilities

 

  • Steer all Procurement activities throughout the stages of the project
  • Translate the project's business targets into a Procurement strategy in order to ensure the Procurement is technically and financially able to meet the overall aims of the project.
  • Be committed to achieving and improving overall project performance whilst steering any actions needed to reduce risks.
  • Guarantee all Group rules and policies are correctly applied throughout the project process

 

Steer all Procurement activities throughout the stages of the project

 

  • Helps project teams to express their needs in order to draw up the list of project requirements
  • Ensures risk assessments are conducted and implements corrective action plans where needed
  • Helps define the project's Procurement strategy or tactics based on its technical requirements, translating project targets into Procurement targets
  • Implements the Procurement strategy or tactics established for the project

 

Translate the project's business targets into a Procurement strategy in order to ensure the Procurement is technically and financially able to meet the overall aims of the project.

 

  • Is involved upfront (Business Development phase) to get suppliers’ best offers and increase ENGIE competitivity
  • Makes savings and increases performance by identifying ways to improve the quality of services
  • Adds competitive advantages to the Procurement side of a project and thereby helps optimize the Entity's commercial offers
  • Defines negotiating tactics/directions, working with the project team

 

Supplier relationship management

 

  • Leads the selection and qualification process of the suppliers to ensure the quality of the services provided by suppliers and to minimize short- and medium term Procurement risk.
  • Organises calls for tender and selects/qualifies providers and suppliers who meet the project requirements and the Procurement strategy, working with the project teams
  • Negotiates with suppliers and decides on the contractual terms with the legal department

What You Can Expect

Our Site Administrator I will be working with ENGIE’s Water Plant Operations and Maintenance Team and will report to the Water Plant Manager. This position is located at the University Of Iowa Campus in Iowa City, IA. 

 

The schedule offered is 7:00am – 3:30pm or 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday-Friday.

 

  • Every day you will be working with our water distribution, and plant personnel.  You will be responsible for generating purchase orders to vendors, and assisting with the expediating, delivery and close out of purchase orders. You will be using a computerized maintenance system (CMMS) to assign materials to work orders. Other frequent tasks include assisting with onboarding/ offboarding employees, scheduling training, and maintaining certifications for staff, purchasing of uniforms.   
  • You will maintain and monitor inventory, process invoices and purchase orders. You will be assisting the Plant Manager with cost and procurement controls, budget preparation and review, resolution of billing, vendor management, reports and correspondence preparation. You will also serve as a member of the local safety committee. 
  • Additional tasks include, Production of documents and reports as requested by operational leaders.  Completing data entry for customer billing, and supervising Interns data entry assignments. Maintaining routine plant operating logs and reports.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum education of  a High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Minimum of two (2) years of administrative or other relevant experience involving, purchasing, inventory or data entry
  • Thorough knowledge of administrative and secretarial functions
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Application suite
  • Ability to create clear and concise correspondence suitable for customers, Senior Leadership and other stakeholders
  • Experience with a Computerized Maintenance System (CMMS). we use Maximo
  • Ability to use analytical judgment to plan and perform diversified work, making decisions within prescribed limitations
  • Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and take direction from others.

  • This role requires attendance at a worksite on a daily basis

Compensation

Salary Range:  $22.36 - $32.73 USD hourly

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

What You Can Expect 

Situated in the Central California Region, the Apprentice Electrician will assist and train with our Licensed Electrician (Photovoltaic Technician). While not working on energized equipment, you'll be responsible for assisting in preventative maintenance and electrical troubleshooting across numerous solar projects throughout Central California. Tasks will involve using testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools common to the electrical trade. These projects are typically smaller scale public works projects scattered across the Northern California Region. Safety, both electrical and driving, is paramount in this role, requiring your commitment to learning and working safely under the guidance of our Licensed Journeyman Electricians. Continuous employment necessitates participation and good standing in your DOL/DIR approved Apprenticeship program. 

 

 

What You’ll Bring  

  • Must be certified as an Apprentice with DIR
  • Ability to attend Apprentice training classes and maintain good standing with the Apprentice training council
  • Capability to follow directions, safety procedures, and work instructions provided by the Journeyman Electrician
  • Basic electrical understanding and ability to work safely on a ladder
  • Must adhere to specific methods of procedures reviewed daily with Journeyman supervisor
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and communicate them verbally or in writing, typically using Microsoft Office or other Field Management tools

Compensation:

Your hourly rate is calculated separately per project type: California Public Work, Private Work (by County), and Federal Work. The hourly rate of pay is established using the calculation methods required by DLSE, ABC, DOL, based on the appropriate Apprentice rate and your apprenticeship program level.

Job Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily checking healthiness of all facilities equipment’s and keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
  • Repair and maintenance work on a wide range of Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, ELV equipment.
  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility MEP systems.
  • Maintain and operate all MEP related systems, associated equipment, electrical equipment, building management system.

  • Review and understand equipment and methods of operation, Electrical systems, ELV system, fire/life safety, and other systems.

  • Support any afterhours building needs and activities as required.
  • Attend training sessions and seminars.

Your Mission

As Project Engineer in our Nuclear department, you will contribute to our mission by managing critical projects for our clients, ensuring technical and contractual compliance, and leading teams to success in the energy transition. You will oversee key projects such as those for EDF and Tractebel, ensuring their timely and effective completion while adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety.

 

Your Key Responsibilities
 

  • You manage and oversee the EDF project, including technical and intellectual modifications.
  • You coordinate and lead various stakeholders following **GIOP (EDF)** processes.
  • You ensure mastery of the project to critically assess proposed solutions in terms of planning, technical aspects, contracts, and finances.
  • You draft deliverables and lead project actions and planning, providing regular updates to the planning team.
  • You supervise and monitor subcontractors in terms of technical, planning, contractual, and financial aspects.
  • You organize and facilitate necessary meetings to ensure smooth project progress.
  • You are proactive in proposing the best strategies to achieve project success (planning, cost efficiency, sustainability, feedback, etc.).

Partnering with the Legal department, you'll negotiate and prepare customer agreements and change orders, ensuring contractual obligations are met.

 

When it comes to budgeting, maintaining precise records of all cost components will be crucial. Any necessary adjustments will be promptly communicated to your supervisors. Together with the Construction Manager, you’ll establish a comprehensive project schedule, ensuring milestones are met and projects are completed on time. Your coordination with Accounting will ensure timely customer invoicing, and you’ll proactively resolve any payment delays. Compliance with local labor regulations will be part of your responsibility, as will overseeing the completion of monitoring packages and final job close-out.

 

This position will be remote, Illinois and will report to the Project Management Director.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of a four (4) year degree in which you have gained a knowledge of construction management, engineering elements, and project management functions
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of related work experience in project management of complex projects including training and certifications
  • You are proficient with MS Office; including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Skillful in project accounting to manage project budgets
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Solid technical writing abilities
  • Capability to create and execute project development and delivery schedules
  • Excellent adherence to schedule, and collaborative problem-solving skills to maintain budget, schedule, and customer satisfaction 
  • Ability to review engineering work across all typical energy and general construction project scope types
  • Superior understanding of general construction methods and can work with the construction manager to implement the project
  • Knowledge of contract scopes of work, and alignment with subcontractor scopes of work 
  • Ability to manage a project team which may include Project Engineers, Consultants, Construction Managers, and other Subject Matter Experts   
  • Proficient in Construction Management Software (CMS)

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 25% of the time and with some overnight trips
  • Ability to conduct regular site visits during development and construction; which may include light lifting and climbing
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

 

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $112,000-$172,500 USD

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate. Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

Jouw missie   

 

Als Project Engineer  in onze afdeling Ports & Waterways draag je elke dag bij aan onze missie door een cruciale rol te spelen in het ondersteunen van het team bij het realiseren van onze projecten!

 

Je belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden 


  • Je zal meewerken aan de gehele uitvoering van onze waterbouwkundige projecten.

 

  • Je neemt de leiding over het ontwerp in een deel van een groot waterbouwkundig project

 

  • Je neemt de rol op als project ingenieur van het project en coördineert en coacht onze junior ingenieurs en CAD-ontwerpers 

 

  • Je dimensioneert de waterbouwkundige projecten volgens de huidige Belgische en Europese normen, wetgeving, praktijkcodes en interne richtlijnen

 

  • Je bereidt ontwerpen voor (voorstudie, basis, aanbesteding, detail) voor maritieme structuren zoals haven- en waterbouwkundige studies: havenmeesterplanning, sluizen, kaaimuren, steigers, brugfunderingen, overstromingsgebieden, dijken, golfbrekers en het uitvoeren van analyses om de optimale installatiemethode van deze structuren te vinden; steeds met een open geest voor innovatieve en alternatieve oplossingen

 

 

  • Je bent de schakel tussen de verschillende competentiecentra in Tractebel en onze partner in het samenwerkingsverband voor waterinfrastructuur, ruimtelijk ontwerp, mobiliteit en uitrusting

 

  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de opvolging van de voortgang, de kwaliteit en de financiële prestaties van het project.

 

  • Je zorgt voor een systematische opvolging van het project, door te waken over de klanttevredenheid

  • Een master diploma in civil engineering met een Major in 'Dredging and Off-Shore Engineering' or 'Construction Design' or 'Marine Engineering'

 

  • Minstens 3 jaar relevante technische ontwerpervaring 

 

  • Ervaring met het toepassen van de relevante ontwerpcodes en richtlijnen voor het constructief ontwerp en de bodemstructuurinteractie van maritieme infrastructuur zoals haveninfrastructuur, kademuren, damwanden, ankers, combiwanden van grote civiele infrastructuurwerken

 

  • Ervaring in het ontwerpen van betonwapening in complexe 3D-constructies

 

  • Kennis van het Nederlands en een goede kennis van het Engels. Kennis van het Frans is een pluspunt.

 

  • Kennis van de huidige Belgische en Europese Design Standards , wetgeving en gedragscodes (ISO, EC, NEN, EAU, SB250, SB260, ...)

 

  • Een goede kennis van contractmanagement voor publieke opdrachtgevers 

 

  • Ervaring in het modelleren in SCIA Engineer, Plaxis, GeoStudio and/or DSheet is een belangrijk pluspunt

Jouw missie   

 

Als Engineer HVAC  in onze afdeling Buildings Hasselt draag je elke dag bij aan onze missie door een cruciale rol te spelen in het ontwerp van onze uitdagende projecten en het begeleiden van de rest van het team terwijl we samen de wens van de klant een realiteit maken! 

  

Je belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden

 

  • Een team van ingenieurs en BIM modelleurs leiden en motiveren voor jouw projecten (teams bestaande uit mechanisch elektrisch ingenieurs, duurzaamheidsingenieurs, ... afhankelijk van het project);
  • Optreden als hoofdingenieur HVAC in projecten van A tot Z;
  • Verantwoordelijk zijn voor de juiste uitvoering van het budget, de timing en de kwaliteit van onze engineeringdiensten en de werken op de werf. Je zorgt ervoor dat de aan jou toegewezen projecten worden uitgevoerd in overeenstemming met ons kwaliteitssyteem en onze H&S-regels;
  • Een geïntegreerd ontwerpproces versterken door over de verschillende disciplines heen te kijken;
  • Offertes en contracten voorbereiden en ze indienen (met de hulp van ons verkoopteam);
  • Op constructieve wijze samenwerken met externe partners (zoals architecten, andere ontwerp- en ingenieursbureaus, onderaannemers, aannemers tijdens de bouwfase, enz.)

 

 

We horen graag van mensen met   

 

  • Een masterdiploma als Industrieel Ingenieur (Elektriciteit/HVAC) of gerelateerd;
  • Enkele jaren (+-5 jaar) ervaring;
  • De bereidheid om meerdere dagen per week vanuit ons kantoor te Hasselt te werken;
  • Een beheersing van het Nederlands en Engels (in mindere mate) op een hoog niveau;
