Job Purpose:

     The Data Center Facilities BMS/DCIM Operator is responsible to supervise and control the operation of the building management system (BMS) & Data Center infrastructure Management (DCIM) System and monitor all Electrical, ELV, and fire/life safety equipment, HVAC plant activities of the Data center building services within the data center is operating at peak efficiency. Maintaining and monitoring the level of temperature in equipment’s and trouble notifying against the DCIM alarms. The Operator serves as an expert technical resource reporting and interacting with onsite Engineers and any third-party vendors. Data center equipment that supports mission-critical servers must maintain better than 99.999% uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operates and maintains Building Management System (BMS) for proper function and monitors the DCIM against approved benchmarks to include; HVAC, Lighting, Fire Suppression, Generator, Plumbing, and Electrical
  • Carry out routine checks for correct operation of all control equipment as directed by Facility Engineer
  • Monitor the operation of the HVAC control systems using the BMS/DCIM to monitor performance.
  • Adjust variables and provide adjustment as required to ensure systems are operating correctly within parameters
  • Monitor and record values of HVAC systems to build up a database of records to provide data for energy efficiency improvement.
  • Communicate all maintenance and repair actions in writing for information to management as required.

Skills Required:

  • Vei înlocui racorduri la aparatele de consum, montare/înlocuire detectoare CH4 și/sau CO, tratare curățire instalații termice și aparate AC, reparații la instalațiile de utilizare a gazelor naturale, lucrări de înlocuiri centrale termice, cu respectarea normelor tehnice, a proceselor, procedurilor și instrucțiunilor interne.;
  • Vei întrerupe alimentarea cu gaz a receptorilor/instalațiilor a căror funcționare nu prezintă siguranță în exploatare
  • Vei prezenta clientului spre semnare contractele de prestări servicii cu privire la instalațiile de utilizare gaze naturale și comenzile aferente contractului pentru alte servicii.
  • Vei propune servicii de proiectare, avizare, execuție lucrări și recepție la instalațiile de utilizare a gazelor naturale, servicii de eficientă energetică de instalare Termostat, Cronotermostat, Smart Term și alte servicii pe măsură dezvoltării și implementării în societate.

 

Experiență, calificări, cunoștințe și abilități:

 

  • Școală generală/ Școală profesională;
  • Diplomă de absolvire a cursului de instalator gaze sau asimilate;

What You Can Expect
ENGIE North America is hiring a Solar Technician for our Solar Site located in West Union, IL.   

 

Your daily responsibilities begin with accessing tasks via SCADA, Maximo, or various SAP software systems and repairing, troubleshooting, and fulfilling technical repair work orders for solar panels. You will manage documentation, update parts inventory, and as well as submit on-site status reports, including daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, and initiate work orders for equipment repairs. 

 

  • Coordination of high voltage switching activities with local utilities and independent system operators (ISO), which includes tasks like substation operations, equipment lockouts and grounding
  • While you will primarily work independently on-site, there will always be a nearby technician for safety support; the site's team comprises of a site manager, a Balance of Plant technician, and the solar technician. You will also be a part of an on-call rotation for outages and emergencies; therefore, you must reside within 50 miles of the site
  • Adhere to safety protocols such as conducting Site-Specific Orientations, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and safety meetings


What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum two (2) years diploma in a technical program where you have learned AC/ DC electrical theory, understand reading blue prints and schematics, industrial electrical equipment including breaker, disconnects, transformers, contactors
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in Solar generation sites, Wind generation sites, Thermal power plants
  • Manufacturing or Mining operations, or Controls & Industrial Maintenance
  • Must have or be willing to obtain certification by AVO as substation technician within 12 months of hire date
  • Capacity to be on call as deemed necessary by supervisor


Additional Details

  • This is a field position requiring daily travel to client site(s)
  • Must be available to travel domestically to other solar plants for emergencies and assist with outages
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record to drive company vehicle on and around the plant
  • Must be willing and able to comply with ENGIE’s policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testing
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
  • The position consists of 20% work indoors and 80% work outdoors; outdoor work may expose the employee to weather conditions

 

Compensation
Salary Range:  $36.00 - $48.02 USD hourly

Procesoperator

Voor onze warmtekrachtkoppelingcentrales zijn we op zoek naar een Procesoperator in een volcontinu shiftensysteem om het team te versterken.

Onze centrales zijn voornamelijk gelegen op de sites van grote bedrijven in de chemie, in de Antwerpse haven (BASF en Covestro),

WIJ BIEDEN JOU als Procesoperator

  • Een bediendencontract (38u) van onbepaalde duur met een competitief salarispakket:
    • Na opleiding verdien je maandelijks als starter minimaal 5617,00 EUR (inclusief shiftpremie). Het salaris wordt verhoogd in functie van aantal jaren relevante beroepservaring. In januari volgt er telkens een loonsverhoging.
    • Jaarlijks dubbel vakantiegeld, collectieve bonus en een eindejaarspremie.
    • 33 vakantiedagen
    • Medische onkosten worden terugbetaald, voor jou en inwonende gezinsleden Hospitalisatieverzekering en aanvullend pensioenplan
    • Gsm en data abonnement
    • Maaltijdcheques €8
    • Fietslease en verplaatsingsvergoeding. De centrale is ook makkelijk bereikbaar met openbaar vervoer.
  • Veiligheid – veiligheid komt bij ons steeds op de eerste plaats.
  • Brede waaier aan kennis – beheer van een volledig proces (elektrisch, mechanisch en proces technisch), waar altijd verbetering mogelijk is.
  • Leuk team – je werkt in een klein team en rapporteert aan de teamleider.
  • Technische uitdaging – de kans om te werken in een unieke sector van energie die zichzelf op technisch vlak continu blijft uitdagen.
  • Opleiding - praktische en theoretische opleidingen, ter ondersteuning van jouw leer- en doorgroeitraject.

 

JOUW VERANTWOORDELIJKHEDEN als Procesoperator

 

  • Vanuit de controlezaal en in de technische installaties bedien je de WKK en STEG centrales die op flexibele wijze elektriciteit aan het net leveren en stoom aan industriële klanten.
  • Je stelt de installatie (transformatoren, turbines, elektrische borden, pompen, tanks etc) veilig ter voorbereiding van onderhoudswerken.
  • Je start een installatie na onderhoud opnieuw op.
  • Je analyseert storingen en bedrijfsproblemen, en doet hiervoor de gepaste verbeteringsvoorstellen.
  • Je bent de eerste contactpersoon voor de industriële klanten.
  • Je werkt in opdracht van de shiftleider en rapporteert aan hem.
  • Opmaken van verbetervoorstellen, je werkt mee aan stilstand -en incidentverslagen.
  • Je zorgt voor de administratieve voorbereiding en opvolging van onderhoudswerken in ons systeem.

 

JOUW PROFIEL als Procesoperator

  • Je beschikt over een technische graduaat of bachelor of je hebt een gelijkwaardige ervaring opgedaan als operator.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van elektromechanica en/of elektriciteit en technisch inzicht.
  • Je bent bereid om in een volcontinu shiftensysteem te werken (vroege, late, nacht en dagshift).
  • Je hebt een sterk veiligheidsbewustzijn. Je draagt voortdurend zorg voor de veiligheid en gezondheid van jezelf én van je collega’s!
  • Je spreekt en begrijpt goed Nederlands of bent bereid om dit binnen een termijn van 1 jaar te leren met ondersteuning van ENGIE.
