What You Can Expect

As the Project Manager, Senior in Houston, Texas for ENGIE FlexGen (Flexible Generation including Storage, Thermal, and Hydrogen) North America you will be assisting in the coordination and management of a cross-functional technical group. Every day, you will report to the Chief Technology Officer to track and report on activities internal to the group as well as with groups external to the engineering team. You will be a representative of the engineering team to other groups within ENGIE along with coordinate schedules for delivery of projects.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Computer Engineering, Data Science or similar field and five (5) years of proven experience in a  project management capacity; in lieu of a four-year degree, you should hold a project management certification and a total of seven (7) years  of experience in which you have gained an understanding of project management
  • Knowledge of project racking tools such as DevOps, Jira, Confluence
  • Previous experience maintaining schedules, internally and externally
  • Previous experience managing and working with 3rd party vendors, contractor and subcontractor staff
  • Ability to manage and maintain budgets
  • Ability to work as a key member on a technical team and rest of the engineering team

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy; in office three (3) days a week
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 10% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips

Compensation

Salary Range: $96,100 – $147,660 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

What You Can Expect

The Partnership Management Team at ENGIE oversees multiple partnerships within our ~6GW operational fleet of Wind, Solar, and Battery Storage assets. These assets are situated in both the United States and Canada, and they operate across various Independent System Operators (ISOs), including ERCOT, SPP, PJM, and MISO. The number of partnerships will expand alongside our rapid growth.  We expect to place in service approximately 2 GW/y over the next decade with the expansion into new ISOs and new technologies.

 

The Partnership Management Senior Contracts and Reporting Analyst, located in Houston, TX, will be an integral part of the Partnership Management Team. Every day, in this role, you will support the Partnership Management Team in the maintenance of partner relationships by producing reports and other deliverables as required under the partnership agreements, organizing, and retaining documents per company policy, refining processes, automating recurring tasks to promote scalability of our operations, liaising with cross-functional teams to meet partner requirements, conducting contract review, and ensuring compliance.

 

  • Play a key role in timeliness and accuracy of key deliverables to our partners including yearly budget, board materials, minutes of board meetings, monthly operating reports
  • Coordinate with Partnership Management Team and other departments to respond to partner inquiries
  • Collaborate across the organization to ensure compliance with partnership agreements regarding reporting, budgetary compliance and communication
  • Lead in the implementation of tools to track and automate compliance
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate reporting
  • Develop strong understanding of partnership agreements

As our Health and Safety Director you will ensure that ENGIE Renewables activities such as, development, constructions, operations and maintenance are done safely, respecting environmental regulations and without physical security incidents in Renewable Global Business Unit (RGBU) in the North American region (USA and Canada). In this role you will set and lead the strategy in Occupational Health and Safety to meet the goals set by the R-GBU organization according to the Group's H&S policies.

You will lead the creation and the guidance of the policies, procedures, instructions, and activity plans for H&S and the Emergency Response Systems for the present and the future. You will actively participate and assist in the execution of the RGBU Integrated Management Systems throughout the region, including contractors and providers. Monitor and evaluate the data, KPIs, execution of action plans, etc., to provide the outcome, efficiency, and enhancements required of this system.

 

Additionally you will, provide guidance and support to all managers and supervisor on H&S issues, and help foster a strong H&S culture in the organization by suggesting activities, training, enhancements in the organization and tools, etc. Manage the H&S Renewables team to oversee, guide and help site managers, supervisors and contractors to achieve the R GBU objectives in the region. You will be tasked with overseeing the budget and resources of the H&S department and also ensuring legal compliance and represent the organization in front of authorities in matters related with HSE.

 

  • Help entities to follow the internal and external H&S audits, and monitors the progress of the action plans that need to be carried out
  • Coordinate the yearly education program on H&S with the various Departments, such as courses, lectures and workshops
  • Direct and empower the entities to carry out the investigation of accidents, incidents, HiPos, and physical security events, compliance with corrective actions
  • Coordinate with Human Resources, to define and implement strategies and actions plans related to physiological health, mental health, and others topics related to the health and the safety of all employees
  • Collaborate with the H&S Managers of Flexible Generation and Energy Solutions GBUs, to provide to the Country Manager the global view and results in terms of H&S for North America as a whole, contributing to have a homogenous H&S culture along the country

What You Can Expect

As the IT– Operational Technology (OT) System Operations Administrator, Advisor in Houston, Texas or ENGIE North America you will be responsible for installing, managing and upgrading systems and servers within the IT-OT environment. The administrator will manage data security, configuring user access, and maintaining the stability of the systems as well as daily management of the installed virtual environment. Every day you will report to the IT-OT System Administrative, Senior Advisor working to maintain proper documentation and reporting to ensure full NERC CIP compliance.

To coincide with compliance work, this person will maintain system configuration and on-going support and management tasks related to the ENGIE NA Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) - Industrial Control System (ICS). To be successful at this job the Systems Administrator will have in-depth knowledge of Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance and the ability to solve complex IT issues while maintaining a high level of security.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or related field of study

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of IT Server Operations, with experience in Operational Technology (OT)/ Industry Control Systems (ICS) being beneficial to the success of the role
  • Robust computer and networking skills, and thorough knowledge of networking concepts, principals, and best practices
  • Expert at managing and supporting Microsoft Windows OS technology, including Microsoft Active Directory
  • Strong knowledge of virtual technology (VMWare, ESXi, and Nutanix AHV virtual platforms)
  • Strong knowledge of OS patching capabilities

    • Oferi suportul pentru a asigura realizarea lucrărilor în conformitate cu prevederile contractului, a proiectelor, a caietelor de sarcini si a reglementărilor tehnice în vigoare;
    • Asiguri suportul în urmărirea rezolvării problemelor constatate în teren în ceea ce privește execuția lucrărilor.

 

Experiență, calificări, cunoștințe și abilități:

  • Studii superioare tehnice finalizate cu diplomă de licență, cu specializările: Instalații pentru construcții sau Inginerie de petrol și gaze;
  • Instalator autorizat ANRE: EGIU sau PGIU si EGD sau PGD, cu experiență în autorizații de minimum 3 ani;
  • Permis de conducere categoria B;
  • Experiență profesională de minimum 3 ani în activități de proiectare si execuție si/sau consultanță în construcții, în rețele și instalații de gaze naturale;
  • Cunoașterea activităților sistemului de distribuție a gazelor naturale;
  • Cunoașterea modulelor SAP specifice activității (PS-IM, MM, ISU) – reprezintă avantaj;
  • Bune cunoștințe de operare MS Office;
  • Cunoștințe de legislație specifică;
  • Abilități de comunicare scrisă și verbală;

What You Can Expect

As our Acquisition, Investment, and Financial Advisor (AIFA) Manager, you will develop business cases and provide supporting project financial analyses to guide the investment for greenfield investment, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) projects.  You can work a hybrid schedule from our Houston, TX office.

 

Every day you will be responsible for leading the valuation, structuring guidance, advise on commercial agreements, risk allocation, bankability of contracts, financing alternatives, and expected investment returns throughout the business development process of investments, mergers and acquisition, and project financing plans. You will present investment opportunities to ENGIE leadership, defend project economics, and risks for the review committees.

 

  • Develop, analyze, evaluate and recommend financial options and proposals as they relate to business development projects or other funding needs
  • Advise internal stakeholders in understanding appropriate risk allocation, bankability of terms and conditions of various project contracts and provide general structuring advice and optimization of returns throughout the business development process
  • Structure, negotiate and execute financing documents (internal or project finance) for medium to large size transactions
  • Identify main project economic and financial risks and advise on the appropriate mitigation factors and definition of appropriate contingencies
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support investment decisions, following group guidelines. Maintain responsibility for the accuracy and correct incorporation of relevant inputs to such models. Propose and implement relevant sensitivity analysis for investment files
  • Assist the business development decision making process and manage internal approvals process for new economic commitments and associated financing arrangements
  • Create and lead presentations for lender and management updates and discussions
  • Coach and mentor more junior members of the AIFA team

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Math, or a STEM-focused degree program where you have learned project management, project financing, investments, equity, mergers, acquisitions, power, energy, or renewable market skills
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in all aspects of project finance and M&A transactions where you lead the modeling/analysis, drive the structuring, negotiating legal documentation, execution of transactions and detailed financial modeling for each project from start of the development process to the successful closing of an investment or acquisition
  • Broad power industry expertise, including working in retail, energy services, renewables and / or generation markets
  • Investment analysis experience in the clean energy sector at a developer, fund, bank, or consultant
  • Detailed financial modeling, including a project finance and accounting component, with a strong proficiency working in EXCEL  You have worked in environments where you have worked alone or in a team structuring and closing M&A and/or financing transactions, including reviewing, and negotiating legal documentation
  • Knowledge of US merchant power markets drivers, hedging
  • instruments, Tax Equity Structures, and IRS requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple parties including banks, consultants, lawyers as well as internal stakeholders (management, business development, legal, technical, insurance, tax, and accounting) to bring transactions to conclusion in a challenging environment

Che cosa farai?

Nel Ruolo di Proposal & Bidding Specialist riporterai al Proposal and Sales Support Construction, e ti occuperai dello sviluppo di progetti d’offerta e di quotazioni per lavori ed installazioni in modalità Chiavi in Mano per il settore terziario ed industriale. In particolare collaborerai  alla predisposizione di offerte per la realizzazione di datacenter, sistemi riscaldamento e raffrescamento industriale, UPS e gruppi elettrogeni, stazioni e sottostazioni elettriche, distribuzione elettrica, reti di distribuzione calore, fotovoltaici, piccoli interventi edili, rifacimenti generici e demolizioni.

Quali saranno le tue responsabilità?

  • Analizzare le richieste del cliente privato, identificare le possibili soluzioni tecniche e sviluppare le stime economiche per l’installazione di impianti in ambito industriale e terziario. In particolare analizzare i documenti delle gare di appalto in modalità Chiavi in Mano e analizzare le specifiche fornite dal cliente
  • Elaborare, congiuntamente con tutte le funzioni aziendali, quotazioni e documenti di offerta (lettere di proposta, cronoprogrammi, organigrammi di commessa, quotazione…)
  • Svolgere sopralluoghi tecnici per identificare i principali vincoli e caratteristiche degli interventi oggetto di quotazione
  • Interagire, nell’ambito delle proprie attività, attivamente con le funzioni di engineering, sales, operations, procurement, legal and insurance.
  • Collaborare internazionalmente con ENGIE Gruop per lo sviluppo di progetti d’offerta multi-sito e multi-Country

Che cosa porterai in Engie?

  • Laurea in Ingegneria, preferibilmente in ambito Meccanico/Elettrico/Energetico/Edile ed esperienza nel settore
  • Conoscenza tecnica e funzionale degli impianti, con esperienza almeno triennale nella progettazione/conduzione/installazione di impianti meccanici, elettrici e/o civili
