What You Can Expect

The Analyst I, Retail Ops will be responsible for, but not limited to, learning and supporting the products we sell and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns that impact billing accuracy. The Analyst will be exposed to and be expected to contribute to key billing functions within independent and cross functional team projects. The analyst role should be capable of working with our third party vendors, both independently and in a team environment as needed, to provide best in class customer service for our internal and external customers. 

 

  • Monitor and work internal Unbilled reporting to ensure accurate and timely billing for Engie’s Retail C&I customers.
  • Act as a main point of contact to research and resolve billing disputes and provide timely resolution on any issues.
  • Apply business judgement in dealing with customer issues, billing problems, and data requests.
  • Update and review daily reporting to support several internal daily operational processes.
  • Assist in gathering requirements and QA testing for new development on projects designed to improve billing, customer experience and reporting.
  • Implement new measures to improve quality control process for outgoing invoices.
  • Provide cross-functional support to peers and departments to develop best in class end-to-end delivery processes.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with Compliance group to assure all Business Control regulatory and internal requirements are met / exceeded.
  • Achieve excellence by delivering on key performance indicators (KPI’s).
  • Train new team members and constantly review the training materials to ensure these documents are updated and relevant.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field, or 4 years directly relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • 0-2 years of analytical experience in a business environment.
  • Direct billing experience highly preferred.
  • Billing or ops experience in multiple markets preferred.
  • Experience with SQL, macros, MS Access preferred.

What You Can Expect

The Pricing Analyst will participate in the pricing, structuring, portfolio management and profitability analysis of the Engie Resources retail electricity portfolio. Leveraging advanced analytics and other mathematical and programmatic techniques, Analyst will identify opportunities, propose solutions, and generate actionable insights in support of sales, pricing, and data analytics team.

 

  • Work closely with Sales, Load Analytics, and other internal groups to structure, cost, and price retail power opportunities utilizing proprietary tools and applications
  • Review, confirm, and book executed retail power contracts in proprietary deal capture system
  • Understanding Capacity, Transmission, and all other cost components of full-requirements retail electricity products
  • Research complex business problems and identify opportunities to design, develop, and propose actionable solutions in support of pricing, portfolio management and margin analysis activities.  
  • Support the development and enhancement of models and system platforms to support pricing and portfolio management activities.
  • Research and produce ad-hoc analysis on market fundamentals, risk exposure, customer load characteristics, various cost components and regulatory issues to enhance competitiveness, optimize risk exposure and improve the profitability of the retail portfolio.  

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline is required – Majors in Business, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, Mathematics or Computer Science are preferred
  • Retail Power industry experience preferred.
  • Understanding of energy market fundamentals, including customer usage properties and pricing methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency of MS Excel.
  • Experience in extraction, transformation and management of large quantities of data using such tools as VBA, SQL, Microsoft Power BI.

You will work a hybrid schedule from WCW’s Water Quality & Resource Recovery plant in Richmond, CA. This internship is for the Fall semester from October 2024 to December 2024.

 

You will gain experience in marketing, social media work, and community outreach. There will also be public speaking, research, and copyediting. You will assist the Communications Manager, travel within the district to visit work sites, WCW’s Water Quality & Resource Recovery plant.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Must be enrolled at a local university or junior college.  This position is suited for students in STEM programs or studying Environmental Sciences, Communications, Graphic Design, or Communications programs or pathways

Che cosa farai?

Nel Ruolo di Proposal & Bidding Specialist riporterai al Proposal and Sales Support Construction, e ti occuperai dello sviluppo di progetti d’offerta e di quotazioni per lavori ed installazioni in modalità Chiavi in Mano per il settore terziario ed industriale. In particolare collaborerai  alla predisposizione di offerte per la realizzazione di datacenter, sistemi riscaldamento e raffrescamento industriale, UPS e gruppi elettrogeni, stazioni e sottostazioni elettriche, distribuzione elettrica, reti di distribuzione calore, fotovoltaici, piccoli interventi edili, rifacimenti generici e demolizioni.

Quali saranno le tue responsabilità?

Che cosa porterai in Engie?

  • Laurea in Ingegneria, preferibilmente in ambito Meccanico/Elettrico/Energetico/Edile ed esperienza nel settore
  • Conoscenza tecnica e funzionale degli impianti, con esperienza almeno triennale nella progettazione/conduzione/installazione di impianti meccanici, elettrici e/o civili
  • Buona capacità nella stesura di elaborazioni economiche e relazioni tecniche
  • Capacità di lavorare in team e per scadenze temporali
  • Disponibilità ad effettuare brevi trasferte sul territorio nazionale

As a key participant in the implementation of Singapore new office, the purpose of the role is to support the head of Administration and Office management team and to coordinate the various streams of the project. This is an exciting, fast-paced project with direct exposure to several stakeholders and business. Candidate must come with a proactive, can-do and collaborative attitude and a willingness to adapt to a dynamic and exciting agenda.

 

Main activities

 

Support the project manager and team with daily tasks related to the office renovation.

  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Help with scheduling meetings, site visits, and inspections.
  • Document and track project progress, update schedules, and maintain project files.

 

Support the Layout & Design phase

  • Business requirement definition for the new office
  • Participate in workshops to define layout of the target office
  • Animate working group to define the target design (choice of furniture, colours, materials, fabrics, etc.)

 

Coordinate the project across various functions

  • Organize regular internal meetings to track the progress of the project
  • Escalate alert and identify remediation

 

Communicate with various stakeholders

  • Animate a newsletter to communicate the project status across the organization
  • Keep the project alive and motivation of stakeholders up
  • Arrange the grand opening ceremony

 

YOUR PROFILE

 

Education & professional background

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Project Management, Design, Communication or  Project Management, or a related field

 

Technical skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Ansprechpartner für die Annahme von Kundenfragen sowie Unterstützung unserer Kunden während der gesamten Vertragslaufzeit (z.B. bei Fragen zur Abrechnung)
  • Analyse der Kundenanfrage und anschließende Abstimmung mit den internen Schnittstellen zur Problemlösung
  • Zu Ihrem Betreuungsgebiet gehören die Bereiche:
    • PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) 
    • BESS (Batterie-Energiespeichersysteme) 
  • Koordination der Problemlösung zwischen internen Teams und Kunden zur erfolgreichen Vertragsimplementierung (z.B. Abstimmung von Stammdaten oder Prognose)
  • Stammdatenpflege sowie Aktualisierungen der Daten zwischen den Systemen und Bereitstellung von KPIs für das Management

 

 

Ihr Profil – das sollten Sie mitbringen:

 

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Finanzen, Wirtschaft oder ähnliches
  • Erfahrungen im Vertragsmanagement, Backoffice und/oder Kundenbetreuung wünschenswert
  • Kenntnisse aus der Energiewirtschaft von Vorteil, jedoch kein Muss
  • Organisierte, proaktive und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise
  • Bereitschaft für gelegentliche Dienstreisen innerhalb Europas, wie z.B. Paris, Brüssel, Köln, Berlin. 
  • Sehr gute Deutsch- und gute Englischkenntnisse. Französischkenntnisse von Vorteil, jedoch kein Muss.
