What You Can Expect

As the Software Developer in Houston, Texas for ENGIE’s Global Energy Management & Supply (GEMS), you will work alongside a software development team to design and develop web and cloud-based applications using the Microsoft .NET framework and Azure platform and or Oracle PL/SQL. Every day, you will report to the Director of Solution delivery to assist with meeting goals of the team’s transformation through implementing redesigned systems and processing using the latest digital technology.

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or MIS curriculum and a minimum of two five (5) years of experience with C# and .NET frameworks or Oracle PL/SQL in  a professional work setting; in lieu of a four-year degree, you should bring a total of a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in which you have gained an understand of software development where you have designed and developed web and cloud-based applications
  • Experienced with Microsoft SQL Server and database performance tuning
  • Experienced with ETL tools and processes
  • Understanding of Azure services such as Azure App Services, Azure SQL, and Azure Storage
  • Experienced with Git or other version control systems
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug applications
  • Accept and perform code reviews based on defined coding standards and contributes to coding standards
  • Ability to write complex PL/SQL scripts for data manipulation, data validation, and data management
  • Proven experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
  • Ability to  coordinate with product owners, architects, and system owners in the testing of new features

Compensation

Salary Range: $96,100 – $147,660 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

As our Health and Safety Advisor in Houston, TX, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring Health and Safety programs for the Distributed Solar & Storage (DSS) team, partnering with other Business Entities and Operating Companies’ and H&S staff to influence an organizational culture that leads to an injury free working environment. What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Management, Engineering or Business
  • Certified Safety Professional and OSHA safety certifications
  • A minimum seven (7) years’ Safety Management, with three (3) of those years’ experience in power generation and energy distribution
  • Subject matter expert in OSHA (US) CFR 29 Parts 1910 / 1926
  • Experience with root cause failure analysis tools and their application for recordable events
  • Experience with behavioral science and the psychology behind influencing change
  • Experience in commercial and industrial construction environments
  • You have experience working in environments with  energy distribution systems, new construction of solar and battery storage sites, and facility O&M management
  • You feel confident in supporting H&S database management and providing required monthly statistical reports to ES North America Business Unit (BU) corporate and Business Entity (BE) executives
  • As our Health and Safety Advisor you will conduct regular onsite training, supervision, compliance audits, incident investigations, and safety cultural assessments
  • You know how to as directed, lead serious incident investigations into High Potential (HiPo) incidents, including those that result in a lost time accident 
  • You can identify countermeasures to prevent recurrence and eliminate deviations from the standard
  • You have managed the selection of third-party H&S auditors, consultants and contractors

As our Business Development (BD) Senior Advisor you will be located in an area with easy access to a large airport and will directly focus on development of District Heating and Cooling Systems and Major Campuses, within the Continental United States.   • Daily you will coordinate and work with a team of experts during the due diligence and development phases to assess business opportunities. Disciplines include technical, operations, finance, legal, human resources, transition, IT, procurement, insurance, and other relevant functions 
  • You will originate new opportunities. Using your network, you will create new contacts to create opportunities. Interact with different market participants (consultants, investment banks, equity funds, engineering companies among others) to identify opportunities. You will lead customer meetings, proposal processes & contract negotiations, working with the different internal teams, understanding the customers’ needs and the different stakeholders. This position requires technical expertise in battery storage technologies, with focus on lithium-ion batteries. The Partnership Management Team at ENGIE oversees multiple partnerships within our ~6GW operational fleet of Wind, Solar, and Battery Storage assets. These assets are situated in both the United States and Canada, and they operate across various Independent System Operators (ISOs), including ERCOT, SPP, PJM, and MISO. The number of partnerships will expand alongside our rapid growth.  We expect to place in service approximately 2 GW/y over the next decade with the expansion into new ISOs and new technologies.

 

The Partnership Management Senior Contracts and Reporting Analyst, located in Houston, TX, will be an integral part of the Partnership Management Team. Every day, in this role, you will support the Partnership Management Team in the maintenance of partner relationships by producing reports and other deliverables as required under the partnership agreements, organizing, and retaining documents per company policy, refining processes, automating recurring tasks to promote scalability of our operations, liaising with cross-functional teams to meet partner requirements, conducting contract review, and ensuring compliance.

 

  • Play a key role in timeliness and accuracy of key deliverables to our partners including yearly budget, board materials, minutes of board meetings, monthly operating reports
  • Coordinate with Partnership Management Team and other departments to respond to partner inquiries
  • Collaborate across the organization to ensure compliance with partnership agreements regarding reporting, budgetary compliance and communication
  • Lead in the implementation of tools to track and automate compliance
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate reporting
  • Develop strong understanding of partnership agreements
  • Effective communication to ensure organizational understanding of key contract terms – including contract briefs
