What You Can Expect

As our Sustainability Project Management Intern, you will be responsible for supporting ENGIE’s Capital Projects team, concentrated on energy conservation and infrastructure development, maintenance, and academic collaboration projects for The Ohio State University’s Utility System. The primary responsibility for this candidate will be to assist in the execution of a sustainability competition hosted by the Ohio State Energy Partners. The ideal candidate has an interest in obtaining practical experience working in content development and design in the energy industry as well as assisting in various project management tasks.

  • You will collaborate with project managers and teams to create and execute print and digital materials, including fact sheets, infographics, flyers, presentations, construction signage, and reports and assist with procurement and invoice reconciliation for the Combined Heating and Cooling Powerplant project
  • You will design and disseminate marketing content for the biannual Smart Campus Challenge, interfacing with Ohio State staff, stakeholders, student groups, ENGIE personnel, and professionals
  • You will develop interfaces for energy conservation projects and sustainability initiatives, engaging with the Ohio State University community (students, faculty, contributors)
  • You will assess and respond to audience expectations with targeted material, optimizing existing content, and developing templates for consistent design formats, maintaining social media and digital media presence for various audiences
  • You will translate Ohio State Energy Partner’s message to meet marketing and communications needs, producing content for distribution within a 150,000-employee company, and completing other related duties

 

This position will report to the Project Coordinator Analyst. This internship work term will start on June 2, 2025, and end on August 22, 2025. 

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Currently enrolled as a sophomore, junior, or senior at The Ohio State University pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Policy or EEDS (Environment, Economy, Development and Sustainability), or a related field.

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role requires attendance at a worksite on a daily basis
  • Minimum 10 hours a week; Additional hours may be available based on business needs and will be discussed in advance with your supervisor
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license; may drive company vehicle
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

Compensation

  • Collaborerai per individuare ed indicare le possibili fonti di rischio all’interno del luogo di lavoro (sopralluoghi in campo);
  • Verificherai le necessarie misure di prevenzione, protezione e controllo riguardo a ciascun tipo di rischio e supporterai i manager nella loro attuazione;

Che cosa farai?

Nel Ruolo di Manutentore Multidisciplinare riporterai al Contract Manager e, in coordinamento con il team Industrial & Facility Energy Services, ti occuperai delle  attività di manutenzione ordinaria e straordinaria relative all’impiantistica Civile e industriale dei presidi del Cliente a te assegnato.

 

Quali saranno le tue responsabilità?

  • Conduzione e manutenzione impianti elettrici, meccanici, idraulici, condizionamento;
  • Attività di manutenzione ordinaria e straordinaria su impianti elettrici, meccanici, idraulici, condizionamento;
  • Presa in carico e soluzione ticket legati ai disservizi impiantistici;
  • Assistenza ai tecnici delle ditte subappaltatrici.

 

Che cosa porterai in Engie?

  • Esperienza nel ruolo di almeno 3/5 anni nel settore manutentivo;
  • Conoscenza degli impianti elettrici e/o meccanici;
  • Conoscenza informatiche di base;
  • PAV/PES (non mandatorio);
  • Disponibilità a reperibilità e orario flessibile (7-19);
  • Ottime capacita relazionali e di team working;
  • Alto livello di autonomia..

A pessoa selecionada será responsável para realização de manutenção preventiva e corretiva de equipamentos industriais. 

 

 

O que pode esperar

 

  • Realizar a manutenção diária em conformidade com as ordens de trabalho e planos de manutenção preventiva definidos;
  • Realizar relatórios ao seu supervisor;
  • Garantir que os equipamentos e máquinas sob a sua responsabilidade são mantidos em boas condições de funcionamento;
  • Operação e manutenção de instalações eletromecânicas Industriais;
  • Manutenção Preventiva e Curativa Equipamentos produção, motores elétricos, bombas, válvulas, electroválvulas;
  • Manutenção Preventiva e Curativa Quadros elétricos de Equipamentos, Iluminação e Distribuição. Garantir que os equipamentos e máquinas sob a sua responsabilidade são mantidos em boas condições de funcionamento;
  • Cumprir as normas de Qualidade, Ambiente, Energia e Segurança do Grupo Engie e do cliente.

Job Purpose:

Employee in this position will undertake responsibility in maintaining the physical assets of the property, any new construction / refurbishment, maintenance, and repair of brick, cement, stone, cladding panels, glass and plaster for buldings located at depot, Vidauct structures, internal roads, pavements, fences, barriers or other station structures under the direction of Snr.Civil Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests /work orders as assigned.
  • Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications.
  • Inspect and interpret readings as required in real time, to determine areas of interest.
  • Inspect Depot & station building and other structures to determine functional system and detect malfunction and needed repair making notes and recommendation using inspection check sheet and job task.
  • Assist Engineer in preparing technical reports and site inspection reports.
  • Prepare and complete the "Planned Preventative Maintenance" for Station / Deport structures including housekeeping.
  • Set-up and calibrate all equipment used, interpret, evaluate, and document results through formal reports.
  • Follow and enforce the Company required safe work practices and procedures at all times.
  • Assist in monitoring & supervising all civil works being performed by outside contractors.
  • Responsible for 24 hours emergency maintenance service as scheduled.
  • Carry cell phones as required for on-call maintenance.
  • Monitor and maintain all depot building system, infrastructures-Roads, pavement, sidewalks, viaduct, track drainage, fences, barriers and station structures as assigned.
  • Responsible for alerting the Snr. Civil Engineer of any unusual occurrence and / or damage that have taken place or that may occur.
  • Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures and with applicable local codes, regulations, and requirements.
  • Maintain a professional courteous manner with all Dubai Tram Staffs, vendor, contractors, and fellow employees.   
  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.

Skills Required:

  • Knowledge of arithmetic and algebra.
  • A sense of urgency, good attention to detail, and follow-thru.
  • Knowledge of the standard practices, processes, tools, equipment, and materials of masonry, plastering, carpentry, excavation and backfilling.
  • Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the trade.
  • Ability to read, writes, speaks, and understands English fluently.
  • Ability to determine the quality of materials used.
  • Ability to rig and work from scaffolds.
  • Experience in using and following up operations with CAFM system.
  • Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel is required for reporting.
  • Knowledge of the local supplier market.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Other Requirements:

  • Five years of experience in the working in Facilities management Company similar postion.
  • Fluent Written and spoken English.
