Facilities Manager

 

  • Oversee and lead a team of assistant managers, engineers, technical officers, supervisors and technicians in facilities management for commercial building / ministry building / Hospital
  • Establish good working relationships with clients and develop trust and confidence
  • Establish and maintain quality service standards
  • Take charge of the overall Air Conditioning Maintenance Ventilation system
  • Manage the daily AC thermal comfort is within the acceptable limit
  • Schedule maintenance activities for ACMV systems, tracking of maintenance works and follow up actions for systems such as chillers, AHU, FCU, fire protection, gas systems etc
  • Ensure regular meetings with client's and appointed sub providers
  • Handle Tenant’s enquires.
  • Conduct daily audit inspections to ensure the outsource service providers are performing according to their contractual obligations and SLAs.
  • Manage and liaise with external agencies on new initiatives and major repairs and maintenance works
  • Prepare tender documents and specifications, plan, coordinate and execute rectification works
  • Responsible for project costing and cost management
  • Plan training requirement for staff needs for skills improvement
  • Prepare and responsible for annual budget submission, audit report, assessment report for contractors' performance
  • Prepare and certify contractors' payment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university
  • At least 10 years of related working experience
  • Proven experience in facility management in a large facility
  • Able to work Independently and possess good interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Pro-active, independent, able to work with minimal supervision and perform under pressure
  • Service orientated mindset
  • Strong building and M&E knowledge with hands-on experiences

What You’ll Bring

  • You possess a Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • You understand accounting/finance business fundamentals and practices
  • You have a minimum of 5 years’ of industry experience
  • You have a minimum 3 years project financial analysis/forecasting experience

Additional Details

Business, Policy & Process – Develop a deep understanding of the business, departments, and metrics driving performance. Cultivate and/or improve business processes and desktop procedures to maintain or strengthen internal controls consistent with ENGIE’s standard accounting, business and ethical practices.

 

Management Reporting – Coordinate, prepare and review with management and or project partners monthly, quarterly, year-end and ad-hoc reports related to general financial performance, cashflows, P&L, plant level KPI’s and incorporate dashboards (PowerBI) to visualize results in coordination with FP&A and Project Control Major Partnership.

 

Regulatory & Compliance - Coordinate or provide the regulator reporting for FERC, EQR (electric quarterly reports) and ISO-NE Minimum Participation Criteria and other [agency] deliverables. Support and ensure compliance with all tax filings including property, abatement and disputes.

 

Finance – In collaboration with GBS, manage or provide support for most financial related activities including: plant level accounting, order-to-cash, (cash and accruals, billing, A/R, A/P, inventory control, review invoices and manage PM approvals), budget and forecasts including variance analysis, month and quarter-end close. Create and update plant project financial schedules and outages.

 

 

  • This role requires attendance at a worksite on a daily basis
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 5% of the time
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
  • Ability to meet highest attendance requirements
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy

Compensation

Salary Range: $74,500 - $125,000 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

What You Can Expect

The Engineer II is a role responsible for supporting the development and installation of energy conservation measures and renewable energy with large-scale public sector customers. The right person will be working in a fast-paced, team-based environment, at the direction of the Project Manager as well as their supervisor. Responsibilities in this role include the design of Energy Conservation and Renewable Energy Measures (ECM), performing site audits, specifying equipment, and completing savings calculations to support projects in development and construction. Projects include a combination of energy efficiency measures and renewable generation installations, to help local cities, schools, and counties become more sustainable, save money, and improve services to their end-users and the expectation is that one to several projects are supported from early development through post-construction.

 

This position is located in Oakland, CA and will report to the Director of Project Management.

What You’ll Bring

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in which you have learned skills to be customer centric
  • A minimum of five (5) years work experience in education, environmental, community engagement or workforce development programming
  • Must have created lessons and/or led successful community engagement activities; lessons and educational materials must have been tied to standards or relevant key performance indicators using an existing educational model; understanding by design, Stanford design model, 5 E or other relevant educational models

What You Can Expect

As the Construction Management Advisor (CMA) in ENGIE, Distributed Energy Solution (DES) you will oversee ENGIE’s construction sites and subcontractors, provide baseline/milestone/look-ahead schedule, ensuring site safety practices, and uphold quality assurance/control measures are provided for the installations. These projects include, but are not limited to, a combination of energy conservation measures (ECM) and renewable generation projects such as Photovoltaic Solar, Battery Energy Storage Solutions (BESS), high-efficiency HVAC, Energy Management Systems (EMS), high-efficiency transformers, LED lighting, lighting control systems. What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of seven (7) years of construction management experience
  • Technical experience and or training with electrical, mechanical, lighting projects
  • Scheduling experience with Microsoft Project or comparable software
  • Past experience working with Project Inspectors and Field Engineers
  • Experience in construction projects, working at sites, managing subcontractors, contracts administration and change management
  • Experienced in preparing and executing Health & Safety, Environmental, Quality Assurance and Quality Control Plans
  • In depth knowledge of project engineering for technical consult and QA/QC inspections

What You Can Expect

​​As our Senior Project Manager, in Columbus, OH, you will be responsible for managing utility infrastructure capital projects associated with expanding and maintaining the utility system on the Ohio State University campus for projects ranging in size from $100,000 to $20M.
