Job Summary


The IT Global Competency Center (GCC) Consultant at ENGIE India will play a pivotal role in collaborating with the India Leadership team and the D&IT Leadership team to identify use cases for the India GCC Center and work on the feasibility and business case for the India GCC for D&IT. Reporting to the CIO for AMEA & India, this role will be based in Pune and will also work closely with D&IT Strategy & Planning, GBS IT, D&IT Procurement, and IT Strategic suppliers and partners for ENGIE.

 

 

Main Objectives

  • Collaborate with the India Leadership team and D&IT Leadership team to identify use cases for the India GCC Center.
  • Develop and assess the feasibility and business case for the India GCC.
    • Prioritise a sequence of use cases for the GCC along with pros and cons.
    • Come up with a roadmap and plan for onboarding D&IT capabilities to GCC
  • Work closely with GBS IT, D&IT Procurement, and IT Strategic suppliers and partners to ensure alignment between outsourced capability and what should be in the GCC.
  • Explore and recommend suitable archetype of GCC for the use cases identified.
  • Project Manage the GCC onboarding and execution.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Use Case Identification & Feasibility Assessment

 

  • Identify and analyse potential use cases for the India GCC Center in collaboration with the India Leadership team and D&IT Leadership team.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and develop business cases for the identified use cases, ensuring alignment with ENGIE's strategic goals and objectives.

  • Serve as a liaison between the India GCC and various stakeholders, including GBS IT, D&IT Procurement, and IT Strategic suppliers and partners during feasibility study.

Experience & Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Background in a GCC advisory or in an IT GCC leadership role with GCC setup experience is mandatory.
  • Exposure to Energy industry will be desirable.
  • Minimum of 20+ years of experience in D&IT, Digital Solutions management.

Tax Compliances:

  • Responsible for handling all tax obligations of ENGIE India entities & relevant flipside entities (tax audit, income tax return, advance tax liability, tax provision, deferred tax working, transfer pricing compliance, monthly & annual GST compliances, WHT compliances, tax related reconciliation, double tax treaties etc)

 

Tax Assessments:

  • Responsible for handling tax assessments/ litigations related to corporate tax, indirect tax and transfer pricing

 

Tax risks:

  • Manage all tax issues and risks relating to ENGIE India tax matters

 

Group reporting:

  • Support in group reporting obligations such as CbCR, BEPS requirements, Pillar Two developments, risk reporting etc

Purpose of the Job:

Set up and animate the Integrated Quality Management System in accordance with company policy. Management of complete QA/QC of all equipment from suppliers and field quality on site and ensure project construction as per the Quality standards and requirement.

Key Accountabilities

  • Implementation of Quality Management System.
  • Prepare a standarised QA/QC plan and customise the same for each project.
  • Prepare all Quality Procedures and Checklists.
  • Evaluate contractors / vendors w.r.t. quality requirements & compliances during selection.
  • Responsible for all QA/QC of equipment / material / contracts from suppliers and services. Co-ordinate and Conduct factory inspections of all material/ equipment purchased and raise the deviations if any, submit duly signed reports to HO-QHSE for further review & handover to customer.
  • Review design and engineering documents and provide inputs related to Quality.
  • Responsible for complete QA/QC management on site.

  • Ensure that all contractors and workmen are provided with necessary training on site.
  • Ensure all Quality procedures and protocols and systems are strictly implemented on site.

  • Monitor the work execution as per SOPs, WI's, QAPs, etc. and take necessary steps/ actions.
  • Follow up on all Quality related NCRs and ensure timely closure.
  • Compile and distribute weekly, monthly and yearly QA/QC reports/statistics.
  • Work towards the goal of high-quality site.
  • Monitor quality implementations through periodic site inspections, review meetings and release reports stakeholders.
  • In case of any non-conformity / deviation, lead RCA of the same. Ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Provide administrative support to all Quality related meetings and events.
  • Liaise with QA/QC country / business unit leaders with regards to QA/QC data and statistics, reporting, etc.
