Responsibilities

  • Assist to implement, maintain and to continuously improve on the ISO certification and system in relate to ISO 9001, ISO 22301 and ISO 27001
  • Assist to review ISO 9001, ISO 22301 and ISO 27001 related manual, policies, procedures, business contingency plan and specified requirements and ensure they are implemented and complied to
  • Assist to manage, participate and ensure all quality control and assurance processes / activities are in compliance to Company's standard, SOPs and WIs and customer’s requirements
  • Assist in the review of processes and workflow to improve operational effectiveness
  • Facilitate external audits and monitor corrective and preventive measures
  • Participate in project, work studies, work committees, company-wide promotional activities and coinuous improvement initiatives
  • Conduct regular audits and compliance checks to assess quality performance, identify areas of improvement and monitor the corrective and preventive measures
  • Ensure that corrective actions taken are adequate and analyse quality records for adverse trends
  • Liaise with internal and external parties on QMS related issue
  • Gather and prepare data from audits, compliance checks or any other areas as requested for management reporting
  • Support company’s business effort and projects for client engagement and support, participate in the tender bidding
  • Ensure that all information security management system related policies, procedures and specified requirements are implemented and complied to.

 

Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Science/Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 3 years experience in quality work, preferably in the facilities management and/or engineering industry 
  • Preferably ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certified 
  • Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behaviour

  • Manage and liaise with external agencies on new initiatives and major repairs and maintenance works
  • Prepare tender documents and specifications, plan, coordinate and execute rectification works
  • Responsible for project costing and cost management
  • Plan training requirement for staff needs for skills improvement
  • Prepare and responsible for annual budget submission, audit report, assessment report for contractors' performance
  • Prepare and certify contractors' payment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university
  • At least 6 years of related working experience
  • Proven experience in facility management in a large facility
  • Able to work Independently and possess good interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Pro-active, independent, able to work with minimal supervision and perform under pressure

Context:

The APAC Green Solutions team in S&EM plays a critical role in originating, negotiating, and securing contracts to drive value and manage revenue streams for ENGIE renewables portfolio and developing strategies to optimize the APAC generation portfolio. 

 

Role:

 

As a Carbon Trader, you will report to the Head of BP APAC. The role is a permanent post to be based in Singapore. You will contribute to the fulfillment of the missions APAC Green Products Trading team requiring collaboration with Engie’s GMA team, commercial functions and support function staff.

 

 

Hard skills:

 

  • Having prior carbon trading experiences, in particular, carbon, EUA and EUA option markets.
  • Building and leading EUA flat price and option trading activities from scratch, including pricing options for client flow, as well as trading prop EUA book.
  • Being fully accountable for book PnL within the agreed risk framework, including VaR, drawdown and delta limits. 
  • Leading the development on new markets for carbon markets trading activities, such as voluntary & compliance carbon products, and transition carbon offsets etc.
  • Exploring opportunities to trade EUA structure products for Asian clients activities.
  • Holding expertise center for APAC region all carbon markets product front.

 

Soft skills:

Role:

 

Main responsibilities:

 

Trade support

  • Ensure positions and trade details recorded in internal systems match external parties (clearers, custodians, prime brokers, counterparties)
  • Facilitate the timely resolution of position and trade breaks
  • Facilitation of option expiry processes and other contractual obligations
  • Compression and novation processing
  • Send the Trade Confirmation to counterparties
  • Reconcile brokerage fees
  • Compliance with regulations and internal policies with respect to trade execution and capture
  • Regulatory reporting to the authority
  • Assist and maintain SOP documentation

 

Pnl Reporting

•     Daily P&L production, reconciliation, reporting and analysis

•     Reconcile and resolve P&L variances with front office trading desks

•     Conduct periodic independent price verification and valuation

•     Participate in new business/product approval process

•     Work closely with Financial Control on ledger booking, accounting fair value adjustment, and financial statements disclosure
