Spécialisé dans la conception d'ouvrages nucléaires, de Bâtiments ou d'installations industrielles, vous avez la responsabilité des études nécessaires à la réalisation d’offres techniques et commerciales de la direction nucléaire France UK. Vous aurez en charge la réalisation des offres qui vous seront confiés sur les métiers Génie Civil & Tous corps d’état (Ventilation, Fluide, CFO/CFI, Sûreté, …) en assurant :

Missions

 

Ingénieur sûreté et projet : 

Il est sous la responsabilité hiérarchique du chef d’équipe sûreté France et du chef de groupe sûreté France. Son rôle est le suivant vis-à-vis : 

  1. Des projets : 

  • Production et appui à la surveillance des dossier de conception, des études de sûreté déterministes et probabilistes, tant pour les conditions de fonctionnement accidentelles liés aux événements internes que pour les agressions internes et externes ; 

  • Mise à jour des notes d'analyses d'exigences fonctionnelles et des notes d’exigences de qualification à l’ambiance accidentelle, intégration de la liste de classement des matériels, suivant les évolutions du référentiel de sûreté et de conception ; 

  • Production de dossiers règlementaires dans les domaines de la sûreté et de l’environnement (Mise à jour de chapitres du rapport de sûreté, étude de maîtrise des risques ou étude de dangers) ;  

  • Production des livrables : 

  • Etudes d’EIPS, EIPI et EIPR pour les projets France ;  

  • Etudes de prise en compte du facteur humain dans la conception ;  

  • Etudes de déclinaison des référentiels de sûreté nucléaire et d’environnement dans la conception ; 

  • Etudes de prise en compte de la radioprotection des travailleurs dans la conception ;  

  • Identifie les points de difficultés des Projets\Affaires, les points techniques à sécuriser ;  

  • Veille au respect des jalons garantissant la réussite des affaires. 

 

  1. De la Sûreté : 

  • Participe au maintien de la culture de sûreté ainsi qu’à la veille réglementaire ; 

  • Assure que les enjeux de sûreté (exigences fonctionnelles, classement des matériels, qualifications, référentiels applicables, etc…) sont clairement identifiés sur chaque affaire avec la production d’une note dédiée (permet d’identifier tout au long du projet les évolutions éventuelles) ; 

  • Assurer que le pilotage des points majeurs de conceptions/modifications dans les domaines de la sûreté, de l’environnement, du facteur humain et de la radioprotection sont réalisés ;   

  • Participe aux revues hebdomadaires des affaires et apporter un soutien à l’équipe Safety. Partage son expérience et son expertise ; 

  • Participe aux échanges avec le client et à la réussite des projets. La satisfaction du client est l’indicateur majeur ; 

  • Rédacteur et/vérificateur des notes de sûreté ; 

  • Apporte un rôle de conseils permanent, résout les difficultés techniques et propose des solutions adaptées.  

 

Rigueur, autonomie, capacité à travailler en équipe sont des compétences indispensables. 

Curieux, position interrogative au quotidien et à l’aise dans les réunions techniques (sécurisation des données et de la compréhension globale).  

 

Votre profil

 

Formation de base : Le niveau d’étude est un niveau ingénieur diplômé ou équivalent avec un profil généraliste avec une expérience sur les réacteurs à eau sous pression ou sur les chaufferies compactes. 

 

Nombre d’années d’expérience minimum : 5 à 10 ans 

 

Compétences principales : Sûreté nucléaire, radioprotection et environnement. 

Une formation académique dans le fonctionnement des centrales nucléaires est un plus. 

Une expérience dans l’ingénierie ou l’exploitation nucléaire ou classique dans un des domaines suivants est requise : 

  • Equipements et matériels installés sur les centrales de production d’électricité ; 

  • Sûreté ; 

  • Fonctionnement ; 

  • Agressions ; 

  • Conception des systèmes. 

Connaissances des directives, normes et code de conception spécifique au domaine nucléaire (DESP, ESPN, RCC- ; normes européennes…) 

Pilotage de projets. 

 

Maitrise des logiciels : Pack Office, Outils 3D (navigation et recherche de données), 

 

Expérience sectorielle : Nucléaire ou Industriel 

 

Langue / Niveau : Français, Anglais (Technique)

Description of the Role:

The Battery Energy Storage Technical Expert will serve as the referent within the company on all technical aspects related to battery energy storage systems (BESS). The technical expert will support project teams in technology selection, design, engineering, execution, and optimization of BESS projects in various geographies, ensuring successful BESS industrialization and standardization at ENGIE.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise and Support:

Provide deep technical knowledge on BESS design, engineering, execution, operations & maintenance.

Support project teams with battery technology selection, sizing, and system integration.

Recommend improvements to enhance availability, performance, reliability, and lifespan of storage solutions.

Process Development & Standardization:

Ensure compliance with all applicable ENGIE policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines for BESS.

Establish processes, protocols, and guidelines for BESS projects to ensure consistency and high-quality execution.

Continuously improve and refine processes based on lessons learned from past projects.

Industrialization & Scale:

Lead efforts to industrialize BESS solutions, driving scalability, cost-efficiency, and standardization.

Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and other industry stakeholders to leverage technical best practices and innovations, together with ENGIE’s teams (BESS Procurement & Digital, Laborelec Storage Lab).

Peer Reviews & Due Diligence:

PRESENTATION OF RENEWABLE GASES EUROPE

 

RENEWABLE GASES EUROPE (RGE) is ENGIE’s business entity responsible for the development of renewable and low carbon gases[1] production in Europe. Since 2015, ENGIE has been developing biomethane production activity. At the beginning of 2023, its portfolio includes 26 plants in operation, of which 19 are self-operated, with a total production capacity of 550 GWh/y @100% and a development pipeline of 1.4 TWh/y.

ENGIE is determined to become a leading player in 1G[2] biomethane in Europe. The ambition is to grow rapidly to reach 10 TWh/y of biomethane production capacity by 2030.

In Europe, outside France, biomethane production projects are already under development in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Poland and Italy. Spain, Portugal and Romania are other countries of interest. The strategy is to develop projects, greenfield and through M&A, to inject biomethane into the gas grid or to produce bioLNG.

POSITION IN THE ORGANIZATION

Under the responsibility of the Head of Engineering, the 3D CAD Discipline Manager reports functionally to the Engineering Director.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The 3D CAD discipline Manager is in charge of the 2D/3D CAD design team and 2D/3D discipline. He/She supervises the designers placed under his responsibility and/or subcontracted designers.

 

Set up and manage the process team

  • Manage the 3D CAD team across the different engineering offices
  • Ensure the development of team competencies, in coordination with HR & Talents, through training, work experience and career development
  • Under the responsibility of the Head of Engineering, recruit and integrate additional resources- in collaboration with HR team.

 

MAIN DUTIES

  • Coordinate projects drawing production according to project managers schedule and priorities.
  • Be responsible of the 3D cad design delivery
  • Supervise and unify the team practices and quality level.
  • Maintain up to date the cad data base.
  • Animate and/or get involved in projects critical design review gateway meetings (Hazop, ALM, 3D progress…)
  • Identify projects constraints and organize the team production according to projects needs.
  • Prepare dimensional drawings, installation drawings, layout, isometrics.
  • Verify interfaces between disciplines and packages and is able to contact suppliers to alert/resolve/get additional details in order to meet the project schedule.
  • Report on a regular basis, the drafting production status and potential difficulties to project managers and engineering management.
  • Coordinate with other discipline leads and/or subcontractors, manage clashes between disciplines and/or supplier’s packages, tracks the progress and supervises issue resolutions.
  • Identify when issues has to be raised or arbitrated to/by engineering management.
  • Plan and monitors the workload and time spent by each CAD designers of his team or subcontracted,
  • Alert and suggest mitigation plans when deviation
  • Participate in standardization and industrialization work, and deployment of solutions,
  • Be proactive in choosing the tools and methods to implement,
  • Responisible for integration of 3rd party packages (zero point integration etc.)

 

HSE

  • Develop a safety culture during project design and implementation, both within the engineering team and contractors.
  • Ensure that “in design” HSE principles/practices/reviews are properly taken into account and followed.

Quality

  • Responsible of the quality performance of his discipline and the deployment of RGE Quality Management System.
  • Ensure that quality control processes are in place and reworks are minimized.
  • Lead non-conformance (NCR) management, ensuring that measures are taken to avoid repetition of mistakes. 
  • Enforce progressive compilation of red-line documentation and quality records.
  • Organize specific training sessions with the project team, suppliers and contractors.

 

Planning

  • Ensure day to day direction and prioritisation of all activities and functions within the discipline scope.
  • Ensure high quality and timely planning reporting.

 

LOCATION

  La Défense (92) France, regular travel to other engineering offices (in the Netherlands about one week per month) or to sites may be required (in Europe)

MAIN INTERFACES

The 3D CAD discipline Manager will interact with, among others:

  • Engineering team members

QUALIFICATION, COMPETENCE & EXPERIENCE

The 3D CAD discipline Manager shall have the following competences and experience:

 

Degree and experience:

  • University degree in Engineering or equivalent technical background.
  • At least 10 years' experience in drafting and design of industrial projects (bioenergy, energy, chemicals, water/waste treatment) in an EPC organization, preferably on an international scale.
  • Good understanding of engineering and construction processes/standards (including planning, permitting, design and construction phases).
  • Experience coordinating multicultural teams, with preferably at least one period living abroad.
  • Advanced knowledge in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, REVIT, Navisworks.
  • At least 5 years of Team management

 

Languages:

  • Fluent in English and French
  • Ability to work with international teams.

  • Manage the process team across the different engineering offices (all types of mechanical, biological and gaz processes used in RGE activities)
  • Ensure the development of team competencies, in coordination with HR & Talents, through training, work experience and career development

 

Ensure the production of process engineering deliverables for RGE projects :

  • Manage the process team workload and the adequate mobilization of engineers in project teams (teams reporting operationally to the project manager), at all stages of a project (development, design & procurement, construction&commissioning) to :
    • Perform Preliminary, Basic & Detailed Process Design including equipment design or specification, and sizing, production of heat and material balances, PFDs, P&Ids, preparation of process and equipment specifications and data sheets, drafting of commissioning and operating manuals...
    • Review / validate contractors’ and suppliers’ detailed design and plans for commissioning and tests
    • Follow up during construction&commissioning, supporting project team with site queries, interface management and change management
    • Ensure that the performance of plants is properly calculated and stretched in compliance with the project’s business plan

 

  • Depending on the project needs and the process team size, the Discipline Manager Process can have to produce himself all types of tasks related to project process engineering

 

Ensure the industrialization of RGE projects and engineering reliability throughout the project life cycle :

  • Integrate industrialization into project design: develop standard P&ID, Hazop, etc
  • Put in place the methods, processes, tools including digital tools guaranteeing the quality of the process engineering produced together with the respect of the project’s business plan, costs, and schedule
  • Ensure that above all, Health & Safety aspect of existing and new technologies shall systematically be taken into account in the process design
  • Ensure capitalization of lessons learned and continuous improvement of process engineering standards and practices

 

LOCATION

La Defense, regular travel to other engineering offices (in the netherlands about one week per month) or project sites may be required (in Europe)

CANDIDATE PROFILE

 

The Discipline Manager Process shall have the following competences and experience:

Degree and experience:

  • M.S. degree in chemical engineering or equivalent
  • At least 15 years’ experience in process engineering positions in energy / water/waste treatment / process industry in an EPC contractor company
  • Experience with working in a project-oriented culture, based on collaborative, agile and innovative ways of working
  • At least 5 years’ experience in team management

 

Languages:

  • Fluent in English
  • French and other languages are a plus

Skills:

Om de uitdagingen rond radioactief afval tijdens de decommissioning van onze 7 centrales mee aan te pakken, breidt de Fleet Decommissioning-organisatie zich uit met bijkomende Radioactive Waste Project Managers. Deze zullen werken vanuit de ENGIE Tower in Brussel.

 

Radioactive Waste Management-projecten zorgen voor het efficiënt overdragen van het reeds geproduceerde en toekomstig afval naar NIRAS, in lijn met de decommissioning afvalstrategie.

Deze projecten hebben betrekking op volgende onderwerpen:

  • implementatie van de nieuwe waste acceptance & conformiteitscriteria

  • ontwikkeling en implementatie van waste streams

  • ontwikkeling en implementatie van materiaal en waste inventory

  • ontwikkeling en implementatie van radioactieve transporten

 

Wat houdt jouw job precies in?

 

Als Radioactive Waste Project Manager zal je bovenstaande projecten opnemen in nauwe samenwerking met het Decommissioning-team, interne stakeholders en externe stakeholders. En dit onder leiding van een Senior Project Manager, de Operational Fleet Waste Manager of de verantwoordelijke van de afdeling Waste.

Je staat in voor de uitvoering van de toegewezen projectscope volgens de bepaalde en goedkeurde timing en budgetten, en rapporteert over de vooruitgang aan je hierarchie en de van toepassing zijnde project comittees.

ENGIE Electrabel werkt samen met NIRAS en de FANC aan de technische processen en modaliteiten om een efficiënte overdracht van het geproduceerde en nog te produceren radioactief afval (RaW: Radioactive Waste) te bewerkstelligen. Dit behelst zowel het operationeel afval voorkomend uit de exploitatie, als het afval dat bij de ontmanteling van de kerncentrales zal ontstaan.

 Deze activiteiten worden langs de kant van ENGIE Electrabel beheerd in het Fleet departement onder leiding van de CDO (Chief Decommisoning Officer) dat zowel de “relaties” met NIRAS (afdeling NDRaW = Nuclear Decommisiong and Rad Waste) als het technische ontmantelingsproject (D&D program), zelf omvat.

 

De afdeling NDRaW staat in voor het contractueel, technisch en financieel beheer van alle radioactieve afvalstromen voorvloeiend uit de uitbatings-, stopzettings- en ontmantelingsactiviteiten van ENGIE Electrabel. Dit beheer past binnen het wettelijk en reglementair kader met de hoogste prioriteit voor nucleaire veiligheid en met grote aandacht voor efficiëntie.

Het oppervlaktebergingsproject voor cat A afval van NIRAS is in de slotfase voor het verkrijgen van zijn nucleaire uitbatingsvergunning. Dit brengt met zich mee dat er meer en meer afstemming en overleg aan de orde is om de technische en financiële modaliteiten voor de afhaling, de overdracht, de tijdelijke opslag en de finale berging van het RaW van ENGIE Electrabel vast te leggen.

Your mission


As Mechanical Engineer LNG in our "GAS to X" department you will contribute to our mission everyday by playing a crucial role in the mechanical engineering studies necessary to design, build or transform LNG terminals with related alternatives such as FSRU, FSU;  gas pipelines; gas compression stations and all what is related to the handling of gas in an industrial environment. The concerned installations cover all natural gas or other special gases (such as H2, CO2,…) transport, including cryogenic lines, and interconnection lines for or from LNG terminals, gas treatment and compression stations.


Your key responsibilities 

 

  • Integration of the project constraints in the design.
  • Act as Technical Integrator of complex projects consolidating engineering studies from various disciplines (process, electrical, civil, I&C, HSE, etc.)
  • Deliver mechanical engineering services that meet Tractebel’s, its customers' and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
  • Perform technical-economic studies including cost estimates
  • Validation of design and sizing
  • Follow up of the contracting process for these services (bid comparison, technical and economic negotiations, contracting)
  • Evaluate and comment the technical documents issued by contractors and manufacturers
  • Workshop inspections and quality follow-up of equipment prefabrication.
  • On-site follow up of the mechanical erection
  • Will respond to the project engineer / manager
  • Performing of consultancy, (pre)-feasibility, Basic Design, FEED assignments
  • Communicate effectively with the project team and project stakeholders, including the customer.
  • Having a knowledge of piping design

 

We would love to hear from people with  

 

  • Civil or industrial engineer background with sound practical knowledge of design and construction follow-up of equipment in gas and industrial installations
  • Extended experience in material knowledge
