What You Can Expect

As the Project Developer you will be responsible for the development of utility scale battery storage projects across the market. In this role you will support the development of existing pipeline, new greenfield development, and project acquisition. Efficiently communicate complex development situations, and work through development issues from the start of development through construction. Travel as necessary for siting, development and commercial activities as required to keep development on track.

 

Every day in this role you will be responsible for managing and supporting permitting, site control, interconnection matters, power marketing, design/ Engineering, Procurement, Construction “EPC”, financing and other matters critical to the development of energy storage projects throughout CAISO.

 

  • Manage/analyze information flow relevant to project development from internal subject matter experts and external consultants/vendors
  • Ownership of project inputs/assumptions and coordinating updates with respective internal groups
  • Manage project level progress, risks, opportunities, and economics while providing thoughtful analysis and risk evaluation
  • Drive decisions and prioritize allocation of resources based on a deep understanding of schedule dependencies and financial impacts
  • Maintain a rigorous understanding of the overall state of the energy storage market in CAISO, including regulatory and competitive matters, to inform development decisions
  • Track project progress through key development milestones, managing schedules and budgets, and coordinating across disciplines within the Company
  • Manage and/or support due diligence activities for acquisitions
  • Manage negotiation of lease/purchase options and agreements for site control
  • Coordinate engineering activities in pursuit of permits and as required for interconnection matters
  • Work closely with engineering team in support of design and EPC process

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Construction, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Environmental, Science, Management, or another Analytical field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in CAISO or other Independent System Operator “ISO” with energy storage or renewable energy development
  • Familiarity with relevant state, county and city codes, procedures and regulations required by local planning and building departments
  • Experience preparing, negotiating, and closing commercial agreements including development agreements, site control agreements, consulting and service agreements, interconnection, and power sales agreements
  • Ability to manage a large workload across a large portfolio, while prioritizing tasks and effectively managing competing deadlines

 

Additional Details

  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 30% of the time with the need for some overnight trips
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

 

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $100,800.00 – $161,000.00 USD, annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

What You Can Expect

As our Lighting Installation Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in developing, designing, and implementing energy-efficient lighting upgrades or retrofits for public sector clients. In this role you will be helping schools save money while improving the learning environment for students, or assisting local cities and counties in saving money and enhancing service to their constituents.

 

Daily, you will be managing the client relationships on multiple projects and will be responsible for lighting product selection, initial approval, specification, and final design approval for each project in development. Once the project has been developed, specified, and Notice to Proceed has been obtained, you will manage the suppliers and sub-contractors during the construction phase. This includes providing the ENGIE Project Manager (PM) with material part numbers, cut sheets, pricing and expected delivery schedule so the PM can create Purchase Order’s for the selected material vendor Once that step is completed  you will provide scope of work and request pricing from sub-contractors so the PM can issue work orders to the contractors. Additionally you’ll manage the material deliveries so they arrive ahead of the contractor’s needs. You will oversee the contractor’s proper installation of material and control. During post-construction, you will manage the proper commissioning of all controls, oversee the return and credit of any incorrect or unused material, regularly communicate with the client to ensure client satisfaction and that they understand proper use of new controls.

 

This position will be in Remote, California in the central region and will report to the Project Management Director.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You have a minimum of a four (4) year degree, where you have learned principles of analysis and modeling of solutions that can be applied  to construction and business needs; a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent with relevant training and/or progressive industry experience will be considered in lieu of degree
  • You have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience where you gained proficiency in lighting design, subcontractor negotiation, project scheduling, reporting skills, budget creation and management
  • You have gained experience creating and giving presentations and professional  communications, using Microsoft Office, Procore, SnapCount lighting retrofit software, or other project management tools, to create written reports, project updates, and reporting data for all stakeholders

As our Area Lead Technician you will be responsible for managing field response for reactive and planned maintenance activities of select operating assets in Houston Texas surrounding area.  This position will also serve as a key company representative for maintenance scheduling/coordination with internal teams as well as 3rd parties. This field-based position will work across departments to communicate updates and will require frequent travel, primarily to facilities in Houston, Texas area. Candidate must reside within 1 hour of South Houston area facilities.  

 

Every day, you will be responsible for managing the Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to ensure the plants are operational. You will coordinate with various Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), internal and external maintenance partners, and provide hands-on troubleshooting for on-site technical issues. Additionally, you will perform deviation detection and mitigation for the operating battery plants.

 

You will communicate with internal departments, including High Voltage, Performance Management, Asset Management, and Remote Operations teams, to report issues, address needs, and support issue resolution by coordinating with internal teams, OEMs, and EMS providers. Furthermore, you will support reliability improvement plans by collaborating with in-house and third-party technical engineering staff.

 

Reporting to the Field Services Manager, your primary duties encompass:

  • Oversee internal field service team for regional sites
  • Coordination with various OEMs/internal/external maintenance partners
  • Hands-on troubleshooting of on-site technical issues
  • Performance deviation detection and mitigation
  • Communicate with internal departments for reporting any issues or needs
  • Assist in any other tasks as required
  • Source, schedule, and manage third party contractors for site interventions
  • Manage scheduled maintenance planning and coordination, in concert with internal Performance Management and Trading teams

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy, consisting of three (3) days in office and two (2) days working remotely
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 15% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record for travel and car rentals
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $76,750 – $127,875 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

What You Can Expect

As our Sales Manager with ENGIE North America, your primary objective is to prospect and acquire new Commercial and Industrial (C&I) customers for ENGIE retail business in the New York (NYISO) & New England (NEPOOL) ISO regions to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.

This position will sit in the NYC Metro Area and will report to the Regional Vice President of Sales, ISO New England.

 

 

  • Identify and Develop Sales Opportunities: You will self-originate leads by leveraging marketing campaigns, market knowledge, data analysis, cold calling, and networking to build a strong sales pipeline within the New York/New England C&I customer territory
  • Qualify Customers and Assess Needs: You will evaluate creditworthiness using Credit Guidelines, gather consumption and account data, and assess customer needs through effective questioning and listening to deliver tailored price proposals informed by load patterns
  • Present and Align Product Offerings: You will gain in-depth knowledge of ENGIE's products and articulate how proposed solutions meet or exceed customer requirements, ensuring offers are competitive and evaluated on a like-to-like basis
  • Negotiate and Finalize Agreements: You will collaborate with brokers, customers, and legal teams to negotiate terms, ensuring alignment with margin guidance and securing agreements that maximize revenues and customer satisfaction

 

What You’ll Bring
