What You Can Expect

As our Quality Control & Commissioning Technician, you will manage quality controls and assurance and commissioning standards, perform quality inspections of projects, track QA/QC data points, assist other ENGIE personal and external contractors with quality standard, engaging with our engineering team in an ongoing feedback loop.

 

  • Manage Quality Control and Assurance: Oversee ENGIE's quality control, assurance, and commissioning standards to ensure project compliance with company and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain and Create Quality Documentation: Manage the database of quality and commissioning documents, and create new documents as needed to support project consistency
  • Conduct Inspections and Track Punch Lists: Perform quality inspections throughout project construction, create and track punch lists, and ensure installations meet ENGIE standards and applicable codes
  • Collaborate with Teams and Contractors: Assist internal teams, departments, and external contractors in understanding and applying quality standards, harmonizing these across ENGIE’s operations
  • Review and Improve Designs: Provide design feedback to enhance value, efficiency, and compliance while incorporating input from contractors and engineering teams
  • Track and Report Quality Data: Regularly track and publish quality inspection data and findings, ensuring continuous improvement through engagement with the engineering team
  • Stay Updated on Industry Standards: Continuously update and maintain knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and best practices, and keep company documents and knowledge bases up to date

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You hold a high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience; computer literacy

  • A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in similar position
  • You hold expertise in rooftop C&I and ground mount solar PV installations, along with civil and mechanical aspects of solar PV construction
  • You are proficient in MS Office Suite and experienced in TCP/IP and DAS commissioning
  • You are skilled at identifying and addressing unsafe working conditions, ensuring compliance with industry standards
  • You maintain attention to detail, keeping project records and data aligned with company requirements
  • You communicate effectively with all stakeholders and can manage your time efficiently, adapting to changing business needs

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
  • This role requires attendance at a worksite on a rotation basis
  • Must be available to travel domestically  up to up to 70% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips

Compensation

Salary Range: $84,000 – $128,800 USD annually

As an active participant in the behavior-based safety program, ensure that all team members and contractors comply with safety procedures and task-oriented job safety analyses. Communicate and enforce site safety rules through Site-Specific Orientations, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and meetings. Demonstrate procedural compliance in site operation and maintenance by following established procedures. Facilitate daily work, including report production. Inspect, operate, and repair site equipment both directly and remotely. Coordinate High Voltage (HV) switching and curtailments with local utilities and the Independent System Operator (ISO). Maintain site equipment to the highest standards for availability, reliability, efficiency, and profitability. Use work planning skills, schedule activities, and follow up to ensure work conformance. What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in Solar generation sites, Battery Energy Storage Systems, (BESS), Wind generation sites, Utility scale power plants, Sub-station POI, or Controls & Instrumentation Maintenance. Renewables Solar and BESS construction experience or commissioning power plants a plus

What You Can Expect

As our Asset Operations Tech I you will be responsible for executing field response for reactive and planned maintenance activities of select operating standalone battery assets in Northern California.  You will also serve as a key company representative for maintenance scheduling and coordination with internal teams as well as 3rd parties. This field-based position will work across departments to communicate updates and will require frequent travel, primarily to four facilities in Northern California. As such, candidate must reside within 30 minutes of our Ripon, CA area facilities.

  

Every day you will be responsible for keeping the battery storage plants up and running, coordinate with various Original Equipment Manufactures “OEMs”, internal and external maintenance partners, provide hands-on troubleshooting of on-site technical issues, perform deviation detection and mitigation on the operating battery plants. You will communicate with internal departments, Performance Management, Asset Management, and Remote Operations teams to report any issues or needs and support issues resolutions coordinating with internal teams, OEMs and EMS providers. You will support reliability improvement plans via coordinating with in-house and third-party technical engineering staff.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum high school diploma or technical certificate
  • Minimum of three (3) years of electrical experience or comparable industrial experience, such as in the power sector, military experience working with diesel generators or power systems, or experience in the oil & gas industry with maintenance or service of heavy machinery, which is beneficial in lieu of battery storage experience
  • A curious and analytical mindset, capable of identifying challenges and proposing effective solutions

The Director, Client Acquisition is accountable for revenue generation and growth for new target accounts.  This role is focused on building long-term Client value through developing trusted relationships, contributing to the P&L, and the development and closing on new business  within target regions, and promoting new strategic initiatives that align ENGIE Impact and other ENGIE Business Unit solutions to the client’s needs and values.

This role will lead a team of ENGIE Impact sales professionals who are directly responsible for revenue generation and growth of new target accounts through the promotion and implementation of ENGIE Groups various sustainability and resource solutions.

 

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

  • Responsible for building, coaching, mentoring and driving a high-performing Sales team that is accountable for attaining individual sales quotas, creating a culture focused on sales execution and accountability.
  • In-depth understanding of ENGIE Impact and ENGIE Group capabilities and portfolio of offerings, with the ability to effectively convey the value of ENGIE Impact’s products and services, explaining their purpose and performance and how they interconnect for maximum value.
  • Must understand and embody the key functions of Sales leader execution - including but not limited to attracting/hiring/and retaining top talent, coaching, leveraging appropriate tools and technology, and performance management.
  • As owner of key ENGIE Impact commercial region leader will set the strategy and execution path for revenue development by leveraging sales leader territory plan executive engagement, and internal ecosystem collaboration with Product, Legal, Marketing, and other cross functional leaders.
  • Develop comprehensive 12-month sales plans with detailed 30, 60, and 90-day sales activities, objectives for department as well as ensuring each team member creates their own plan in order to reach annual sales goals.
  • Responsible for reporting Monthly sales pipeline activities and forecasts, developing mitigation plans when goals are not attained, and implementing performance management plans as necessary for assigned team members.
  • Forecast and track key metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts, Weekly operating rhythm KPI’s (meetings/proposals/Pipeline additions) and performance managing team members who are not meeting sales quotas and/or forecasts.
  • Will participate in the annual review, updating and publishing of commission / variable pay mix for Client Acquisition Managers.  Will coordinate and work with business partners, including but not limited to, Head of Commercial Growth, Compensation and Human Resources in the development and execution, ensuring the plans incent appropriate behavior and drive attainment of ENGIE Impact’s strategic goals and initiatives
  • Adoption and development of best practices for Account penetration and development as a trusted advisor for client stakeholders, with focus to continually nurture relationships with the client’s C-Suite, decision makers and owners, and other business influencers.
  • Plays a pivotal role in contract negotiation and development, aligning ENGIE Impact revenue goals with appropriate pricing and service level agreements.
  • Develop cross functional strategy for account growth and/or retention for a broad solution set, identifying areas of improvement to meet and/or exceed sales quotas.
  • Responsible for the development and execution of the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) for assigned sector. Will work with, Client Acquisition Manager and various business leaders and staff, capturing accurate and timely information to provide clear understanding of each Sales Directors territory plan, review of execution, and go forward strategy and targets for the following 2 quarters. 
  • Collaborates with other ENGIE Impact colleagues and Centers of Excellence to deliver quality services that have a measurable competitive advantage over the current competition.
  • Establish new business opportunities with targeted accounts through networking, qualifying and closing techniques.  Establish buying influences, budgets and purchasing criteria for client.
  • Understand customer’s long-term business and increase level of contact within customer’s organization to allow for cross selling of new opportunities and more effective account support.
  • Provide reliable forecasting and deal transparency as well as reference case development and product roadmap input.

 

  • First Six Months:  Learn the business and solidify strategy.
    • Learn the business and develop an intimate understanding of client experience, service delivery, and industry role.
    • Gain full command of the energy and sustainability environment—including technology ecosystem, business process, and organizational structures.
    • Implement foundational operating rhythm with team with documentation to support all KPI’s to accelerate territory growth.
    • Establish a metrics package (that will be refined over time) to monitor team performance and progress, and key milestones to measure performance to goals.
    • Develop relationships with the executive leadership team and management team.
    • Identify “quick wins” to improve day-to-day employee and client experience.
  • Longer term:  Build repeatable processes and create long-term value.
    • Develop and implement value creation strategies in collaboration with Company leadership team.
    • Lead execution of territory plan execution and reselling strategy and in coordination with the executive leadership team.
    • Continuously re-evaluate the strategic selling plan to meet or exceed revenue goals and embrace new innovations or emerging technology.
  • AS A SUCCESSFUL LEADER IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
    • Partner with Client Acquisition Directors, Sales Engineers, and department leaders to deeply understand client and business needs and translate them into solutions that delivery against those needs to create value for the customer and Impact.

    • Provide strategic direction on the functional requirements technology must meet to deliver on growth objectives and generate buy-in to that direction from cross-functional stakeholders.
    • Leverage data to drive analysis and re-engineering of existing business processes, implementation of new tools and frameworks, and reshaping the enterprise’s sales ecosystem.
    • Execute sales initiatives in partnership with executive and technology leadership and in coordination with employee, client and customer needs to deliver best-in-class value to stakeholders.
  • Education/ Certifications/ Experience
      • Master’s Degree required in one of the following fields; Engineering, Sustainability, Business Management (marketing/sales/business administration concentration) required.
      • Fifteen+ years of sales experience with multimillion-dollar portfolios.
      • Seven+ years of experience in energy or sustainability related services, high technology or business process outsourcing related fields to multi-site customers.
      • Demonstrated experience of consistently meeting sales targets and objectives, solution selling, and C-level selling.
      • Provide domain expertise in one or more of the following Customer Segments, such as: Retail, Industrial, Hospitality, Restaurant, Waste, Telecom or Healthcare.
      • Knowledge of resource (energy/waste/water) services and controls including renewable energy solutions.
      • May consider a combination of relevant experience with educational and other skills and abilities in lieu of educational requirements
  • Competencies/ Skills/ Abilities
      • A seasoned Business Strategist:  Goal-driven development and execution strategy across the ENGIE Impact sales ecosystem and its impact on functional business areas.
      • An Operational Leader:  Lead execution of key strategic initiatives, including brining a structured, design-thinking mindset to business process and analysis, technology implementation, and sales strategy.
      • Results Driven:  Implement and track accountability metrics and KPIs to ensure desired results are being achieved; use data to refine approach and improve results over time.
      • Comfortable getting into the weeds:  Exceptional attention to detail and ability to gather and incorporate detailed requirements from stakeholders into solutions is a must.
      • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

The pay range for this role is: $128,000-$170,000.

The Role:

The Sustainability Waste Advisor will be performing compliance-based waste audits in a high client-facing, travel-intensive role. They will also assist the Audit Support Team in various projects related to waste-audits, zero waste, and other tasks on an as-needed basis.

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site projects and compliance improvement programs, which include training, bin optimization and planning, and department-wide waste audits.
  • Perform an average of 3 audits per day on a given audit week.
  • Prepare and present waste solutions presentations and reporting for client facing meetings.
  • Share and justify audit decisions in a regulatory context with site and regional senior leadership.
  • Ability to understand and speak to regulated waste including Medical and Pharmaceutical Waste and Protected Health Information.
  • Manage and analyze multiple large datasets using MS Office Suite to find trends, identify operational opportunities, and produce deliverables.
  • Solve escalated client and team issues and concerns in a professional and timely manner to ensure customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Manage multiple tasks on multiple projects including creating and implementing project timelines, answering customer requests, printing and/or creating training materials, data entry, scheduling meetings and developing training sessions.
  • Research and build thought leadership around recycling and diversion practices and vendors
  • Assist clients with and coordinate details for various special projects that are deadline driven.
  • Coordinate with the client, onsite contacts and team members to ensure preparedness for audits.
  • Coordinate with the audit team to prepare for audits, including building audit and travel schedules, managing supplies and inventory and training waste audit volunteers.
  • Promote Engie’s brand and services through excellent customer service during normal client interactions.
  • Generate reports, prepare and monitor invoices and expense reports.
  • Contact vendors via email and phone to obtain client-relevant information, including contact information and details regarding waste services.
  • Perform related work as required.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required preferably in Environmental Science, Sustainability etc. 
  • Waste industry knowledge required in at least two of the following specialties: Solid waste, recycling, organics, medical waste, hazardous waste, pharmaceutical waste, universal waste, electronic waste, specialized waste disposal regulations and methods and confidential information waste.
  • Current Driver’s License and a clean driving record
  • Minimum 2 years of waste industry experience
  • Minimum 2 years project management or client facing work experience Preferred.
  • Waste compliance or healthcare industry preferred

Skills and Abilities: 

  • Ability to work with new technology & software as well as large datasets, and is comfortable making data-driven decisions
  • Strong collaborator, comfortable with giving and receiving feedback and participating in an open team environment
