Your mission

 

As Project Engineer Acoustics & Vibrations in our Buildings division you will be responsible for engineering and consultancy services related to development and realisation of buildings & infrastructure. The team is responsible for studies in environmental accoustics, building acoustics and structural dynamics. It is dedicated to the management of noise and vibration nuisance and the improvement of acoustic quality in variety of projects. 

 

Your key responsabilities

 

  • You assist the department with performing specific noise and vibration measurements
  • You analyze and report the measured data to obtain specific indicators according to standards and legislation
  • You will be responsible for modelling and simulating the generation, the propagation and the impact of noise and vibration in open and built space making use of advanced and specific software
  • Together with the client you are looking for the best solutions using a problem-solving approach 
  • You are responsible for ensuring that the budget, the timing and the quality of the engineering services is executed as required. You will make sure that the projects assigned to you will be executed in accordance to our quality system and our H&S rules.
     

 

We would love to hear from people with 

  • A Master's degree in Engineering (civil or industrial) or Physics equivalent through experience 
  • You have a stong interest in working with acoustics & vibrations; 
  • Having experience in working with acoustics & vibrations is a plus;

Environnement de travail

Vous serez rattaché(e) à la Direction Nucléaire et basé(e) dans notre belle agence de Tours.

 

Vous interviendrez sur de grands projets sur le parc nucléaire Français en exploitation (Programme Grand Carénage d’EDF, Post-Fukushima, …) et vous serez acteur du développement des compétences en Gestion de Projets techniques au sein de TRACTEBEL. 

 

Vous interviendrez sur des projets de modification d’installations nucléaires en lien avec la protection des sites, vous piloterez le déploiement du projet, les études et assurerez le suivi de la réalisation des travaux.

 

 

Vos missions

Les activités génériques qui vous seront confiées sont les suivantes :

  • L’analyse des documents nécessaires en phases étude & réalisation.
  • La rédaction de notes techniques et de cahiers des charges.
  • La rédaction de documents liés à l’instruction et au déploiement de la modification.
  • L’identification des risques et suivi du planning en lien avec le projet.
  • La participation et/ou l’animation des réunions d’avancement (Etudes et/ou Réalisation).
  • La récupération des données pour produire les livrables.
  • L’organisation et le pilotage des visites de suivi des travaux.
  • La gestion des interfaces externes/internes Etudes et Travaux.
  • L’appui à l’établissement des dossiers réglementaires .
  • L’identification et la proposition d’optimisations d’organisation / techniques.
  • La rédaction, si besoin, de documents synthétiques / fiches de communication sur l’avancement, les solutions.
  • Le suivi technique des fournisseurs et la surveillance des documents produits dans le cadre des contrats (via l’outil Checking)
  • Le suivi du respect du planning.
  • La capitalisation du Retour d’expérience lié à l’affaire.

 

 

Votre profil

 

  • Formation de base : Niveau BAC+4 / BAC+5 (formation technique EI&C ou Mécanique)
  • Nombre d’années d’expérience minimum : 5
  • Compétences principales : Pilotage et conduite d’affaires
  • Connaissances complémentaires : fonctionnement des CNPE, des Equipes Communes EDF, du processus GIOP, des matériel IES…
  • Maitrise des logiciels : Chaine bureautique Office
  • Expérience sectorielle : Nucléaire
  • Langue / Niveau : Français

 

Disposer des habilitations pour accéder aux CNPE (SCQ, SCN1, H0B0, M0, RP1…) serait un plus.

Pouvoir intervenir sur des projets sensibles Spécial France est nécessaire: Contrainte de nationalité Française.

What You Can Expect

The Project Manager Advisor is the primary manager of all phases of an energy project, with the objective of successful completion on time and within budget, while maintaining quality, safety, and cash management standards, and producing strong customer references. Assigned projects will include a combination of energy efficiency measures, renewable generation installations, and various carbon reduction strategies, to help public sector, commercial and industrial customers around the United States become more sustainable, save money, and improve processes in their plants and services to their end-users. In this role, you will manage one to several projects simultaneously from early development through post-construction, including design, contract negotiations, and project implementation.

 

In addition to assigning responsibilities to the project team and establishing schedules for individual team members, the Project Manager Advisor oversees various technical aspects of the project. This includes developing the project scope, conducting savings analysis, and ensuring the feasibility of proposed measures. Collaborating closely with the Sales team, they assist in customer presentations and interviews during the project's development phase. Furthermore, they liaise with the Legal department to prepare and negotiate customer agreements and change orders, ensuring all contractual obligations are met. The Project Manager Advisor is also responsible for managing all cost components throughout project implementation, maintaining precise budget records, and promptly notifying supervisors of any necessary adjustments. Additionally, they work alongside the construction manager to establish a comprehensive project schedule with regular progress milestones, ensuring timely completion. Alongside these responsibilities, they actively engage with Accounting to facilitate monthly customer invoicing and address any payment delays or issues proactively. Finally, they ensure compliance with local labor regulations and oversee the timely completion of monitoring set-up packages and final job close-out information.

 

This position will sit in San Jose or Oakland, CA and will report to the Director of Project Management.

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of a four (4) year degree in which you have gained a knowledge of construction management, engineering elements, and project management functions
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of related work experience, including training 
  • Proficient in financial analysis skills to predict customer project economics and manage project budgets 
  • Strong negotiation skills that protect ENGIE’s interests on a given project, while building customer and vendor/subcontractor rapport 
  • Ability to prepare and write accurate customer reports with attention to customer goals and needs 
  • Capability to create and execute project development and delivery schedules 
  • Excellent adherence to schedule, and collaborative problem-solving skills to maintain budget, schedule, and customer satisfaction

What You Can Expect

The Project Manager Advisor (PMA) is responsible for overseeing energy projects from initial development through final implementation and closeout. These projects focus on energy efficiency measures and renewable energy installations, supporting Public Sector customers such as local cities, schools, and counties to become more sustainable, save money, and improve services.

 

As the Project Manager Advisor, you will collaborate with ENGIE’s Sales, Legal, Finance, and Operations teams, as well as external engineering and installation partners. The role demands experience managing construction projects, ideally design-build, with a focus on delivering high-quality, on-time, and within-budget results.

 

This position can be located in Riverside, Pasadena, or Orange and reports to the Director of Project Management.

 

General

  • Oversee internal and external project teams, including engineers, construction managers, subcontractors, and subject matter experts
  • Serve as the primary customer contact throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring their satisfaction with ENGIE’s services

Project Development

  • Support the Sales team in customer presentations, interviews, and public meetings (e.g., board and council sessions)
  • Create and manage a portfolio of projects, actively guiding the team through regular meetings to assign tasks, review progress, and address updates
  • Develop project scopes and technical analyses to craft comprehensive solutions tailored to customer needs

Construction

  • Collaborate with ENGIE’s Construction Manager and vendors to establish and monitor project schedules, ensuring timely adjustments as needed
  • Develop and implement procurement plans in partnership with internal ENGIE procurement and manage vendor contracts and change orders
  • Ensure adherence to local labor compliance regulations and maintain comprehensive project documentation using Procore

Financial Management

  • Manage project budgets, ensuring timely invoicing and cash flow protection through customer payment management
  • Complete monthly financial forecasts and monitor project expenditures

Post-Construction

  • Coordinate with post-construction teams to ensure smooth transitions to operational phases, including savings guarantees and maintenance activities

 

 

 

What you bring:

  • A minimum of a four (4) year degree in mechanical, electrical, civil or environmental engineering; construction management or related field will be considered
  • A Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the public sector, industrial, or municipal Water/Wastewater industries
  • Ability to review engineering work across all typical energy project scope types
  • Understanding of contract scopes of work, and alignment with subcontractor scopes of work
  • Ability to review and improve energy analysis performed by others for all project sizes
  • Understands durations and requirements of energy measure development and delivery
  • Understands general construction methods and has ability to work with construction manager to implement project
  • Clear technical communication skills, verbally and in writing
  • Analytical and financial analysis skills to predict customer project economics and manage project budgets

De functie

  • Je zal onze klanten ondersteunen bij de realisatie van onze ambitieuze duurzaamheidsconcepten, van het voorontwerp tot de projectopvolging voor tertiaire en industriële gebouwen.
    • Integratie van passieve oplossingen in de architecturale schil
    • Duurzaam bouwen en passief ontwerp van gebouwen
    • Ontwerpen van energieneutrale gebouwen
    • Ontwikkeling van het technisch concept tijdens de voorontwerpfase
    • Energie-audits
    • Oplossingen bieden om het energieverbruik van een gebouw te verminderen
  • Binnen de afdeling werk je mee aan de voorbereiding van offertes, de uitvoering van projecten, het opstellen van aanbestedingsdocumenten en de opvolging van werken.

Wat kan je verwachten?

Als ingenieur zal je werken voor ons “Buildings” departement in Hasselt en zal je verantwoordelijk zijn voor het aanbieden van je diensten en advies aan onze klanten. Je zal te maken hebben met de ontwikkeling en realisatie van verschillende soorten gebouwen, inclusief tertiaire en industriële gebouwen en sport infrastructuur. As our Scheduling Advisor, you will be the primary scheduling expert / resource for project managers of major capital improvement projects for campus energy systems and new business development related to new partnerships with universities or commercial and industrial entities.   • For business development projects or acquisitions, this role will coordinate with the Major Projects team composed of contracts managers, project managers, engineering, and project management office.

 

  • For projects at existing partnerships, this role will liaise with the other members of the Capital Projects Team (contracts team, project management team, and engineering team) including, but not limited to, Georgetown University in Washington, DC, Iowa University in Iowa City, IA and Ohio State University in Columbus, OH.

What You’ll Bring

  • You possess a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, technical discipline, construction management, or a related field
  • You have a minimum 7 years of progressively responsible experience in project scheduling; 3 years of experience with Primavera P6
  • You will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for project scheduling, assisting Program / Project Managers with analysis and critique of schedules provided by Contractors, Original Equipment Manufacturers, and other contracted parties; include third party provided schedule information in the project schedules to develop integrated master project schedule, from conceptual design, through detailed design, procurement, construction, and start-up/commissioning project stages
  • You will advise Program / Project Managers to understand all project tasks, task durations, and predecessor/successor relationships; support in development of standard sub-schedules as appropriate for groups of activities, such as commissioning
  • You have experience developing comprehensive project schedules for utility and power generation projects, including key milestones, definition of critical path activities, key interfaces with Operations & Maintenance and interfaces with other projects, accounting for any Client restrictions.
  • You will develop and maintain project milestones template(s) for various project sizes to support business development and major capital project opportunities. Develop and maintain project status dashboards to alert teams to potential schedule deviations.
  • You will track historical key performance metrics of past projects and develop lessons learned repository; and drive improvements within the organization to build best in class schedule management function
  • You will standardize the schedule activities and milestones to align with our contracting strategy and utilize our existing and procure platforms to establish executive reports
  • You will review third party schedules for accuracy and gaps, and challenge third party assumptions, and support contracts team through claims process through analysis and review of schedules and activities
  • You will test contractor’s assumptions, or perform staffing density checks or staffing limitation checks to validate schedule durations and ensures resource-leveling supports the project strategy. Likewise, test assumptions / utilize project cost estimates to resource load project schedules

What You Can Expect

As our Project Manager Senior (PM), you will be a part of the ENGIE capital projects team based at Georgetown University. Our projects are located on two local University campuses, and a hospital. As part of this team, you will be responsible for managing utility infrastructure capital projects associated with expanding and maintaining the utility system on the campus. Projects handled by this team range in value from $100k to $100M, with completion of each taking the span of 1-5 years.

 

This position is being hired in support of a 50-year concession agreement that started in 2021, under which ENGIE operates, maintains and expands and enhances the Georgetown University utility system.  The projects you’ll take on will mostly involve utility metering, production and distribution system controls projects.

 

No two days are the same, starting with the development stage you will be submitting reports and conducting meetings with Team members, subcontractors and stakeholders on a regular basis, providing oversight and sharing updates on projects and planning, solving construction challenges through collaboration and clearing the path and working towards successful completion. The key measurements of success are successful completion of projects with no health, safety or environmental and public relations, on time and under budget.  You will be managing contracts for both Design and construction of capital projects within the central plants, and managing project teams made of internal staff, external consultants and Operations and maintenance staff.

 

Additional duties include the following:

 

  • You will administer design and construction contracts to include the development of project specifications, a detailed scope of work and principle contract provisions, working closely with corporate Contracts Management and the Procurement Department
  • You will work with the University stakeholders, ENGIE colleagues, and ENGIE contractors, including engineers, architects, construction firms, and other contractors to develop and execute projects
  • You’ll partner with Program Management, and Operations & Maintenance leadership to identify, justify, and prioritize potential projects

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You have earned a Bachelor of Science engineering degree (Electrical, Civil or Industrial) or other relevant degree/ major, ideally with a specialization in instrumentation and controls.
  • You will have gained a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the successful management of construction or maintenance projects in which you gained experience with managing utility metering or I&C projects to successful completion, such as those involving schools, hospitals, manufacturing or universities
  • Possess or have the desire to achieve a PMP Certification
  • You will have experience in fostering and adhering to the highest safety standards, ensuring the safety of all employees, contractors, and the public
  • You will have gained expertise in developing work packages for execution to include statement of scope, change management, performance testing, QA/QC Requirements, Parts/Tools, Man-hours, Material Procurement, technical data Sheets, Drawings/Specifications, Task Procedures and job safety plans

Als Project Engineer Demolition in onze afdeling Rehabilitation of Industrial Sites, draag je elke dag bij aan onze missie door een cruciale rol te spelen in het begeleiden van projecten op het gebied van het uitvoeren van studies en opvolgen van de uit te voeren werken betreffende het verwijderen van asbest en het slopen van energiecentrales en industriële installaties, waste management, bodem- en grondwatersanering. 
 

Je belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden 

 

  • Meedenken en mee uitwerken van de uitvoering van (selectieve) sloopopdrachten, inclusief asbestverwijdering, waarbij historisch, bouwkundig en architectonisch belangrijke gedeelten van te slopen gebouwen behouden blijven;
  • Uitvoeren van voorbereidende studies die de sloopwerken voorafgaan; 
  • Opvolgen en superviseren van het uitvoeren van werken inzake sloop;
  • Deelnemen aan geïntegreerde multidisciplinaire teams voor het saneren en herontwikkelen van sterk verontreinigde industriële sites;

As our Lighting Installation Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in developing, designing, and implementing energy-efficient lighting upgrades or retrofits for public sector clients. Daily, you will be managing the client relationships on multiple projects and will be responsible for lighting product selection, initial approval, specification, and final design approval for each project in development. Once the project has been developed, specified, and Notice to Proceed has been obtained, you will manage the suppliers and sub-contractors during the construction phase. This includes providing the ENGIE Project Manager (PM) with material part numbers, cut sheets, pricing and expected delivery schedule so the PM can create Purchase Order’s for the selected material vendor Once that step is completed  you will provide scope of work and request pricing from sub-contractors so the PM can issue work orders to the contractors. Additionally you’ll manage the material deliveries so they arrive ahead of the contractor’s needs. You will oversee the contractor’s proper installation of material and control. During post-construction, you will manage the proper commissioning of all controls, oversee the return and credit of any incorrect or unused material, regularly communicate with the client to ensure client satisfaction and that they understand proper use of new controls.

 

This position will be in Remote, California in the central region and will report to the Project Management Director.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You have a minimum of a four (4) year degree, where you have learned principles of analysis and modeling of solutions that can be applied  to construction and business needs; a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent with relevant training and/or progressive industry experience will be considered in lieu of degree
  • You have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience where you gained proficiency in lighting design, subcontractor negotiation, project scheduling, reporting skills, budget creation and management
