Purpose of the Job 

To provide analytical and operational support to Demand Forecasting and Retail Hedging teams within the Portfolio Management function 

To ensure optimum data quality within demand forecasting process through portfolio consistency and metered & forecast data analysis, forecasting algorithm development. 

To support delivery of supply portfolio hedging activities 

To ensure portfolio data consistency with hedging and forecasting processes 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development of forecasting models for different customers/customer types with a view to improve forecasting performance 
  • Ensure customers are appropriately set up in relevant forecasting systems and maintenance of portfolio data 
  • Management of customer consumption data 
  • Analysis of forecasting performance 
  • Capacity data submission to system operator 
  • Ensuring customer trade positions are fully up to date and consistent across all relevant systems. 
  • Ensuring forward trades and traded positions are consistent with view of trading counterparties. 
  • Production of analysis to support development of hedging and optimisation strategies. 
  • Production and development of hedging team KPI’s 
  • Support the delivery of Retail Profitability project 


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven ability to organise and produce work under tight deadlines 
  • Statistical analysis would be advantageous 
  • Demonstrated ability to succeed in a complex environment. 
  • Degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline or proven relevant industry experience

About the Role

We have a number of 6 month fixed term contract vacancies for administrators.  These roles will provide administrative, customer and technical support where needed across the Retail Operations department.  You will be responsible for accurately entering and updating data into our systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality; Managing processes internally and externally and resolving customer queries and disputes. 

 

These are hybrid roles assigned to our Leeds office where the successful candidates would be based two days a week.

Summary of key responsibilities

  • Responsibility for particular customer accounts or tasks ensuring monitoring and completion within contractual and internal deadlines and adherence to industry regulation

About the role:

You will be accountable for the achievement and delivery of the required sales targets for a large number of high value TPI’s ensuring that the team achieves its required sales targets. 

 

You will lead a team of account managers as part of the Enterprise Sales Team, managing a number of key relationships to ensure that their value is maximised at all times, providing a high level of service and recognising and developing commercial opportunities to deliver the require sales targets. This will involve owning and managing a large number of TPI relationships with a wide and diverse customer portfolio and requirements.

Summary of Key Accountabilities:

  • Delivery of the business plan sales targets including: 
  • Delivery of Sales Margin for a team of Enterprise Account Managers 
  • Delivery of gas & electricity volumes for Enterprise Account Managers 
  • Leading and developing a team of Account Managers, ensuring that personal and team targets objectives are achieved. 
  • Management of a portfolio of existing TPI’s, ensuring development and maintenance of good working relationships, regular communications at the appropriate level

  • Implementation of a Business Development and engagement programme for new TPI’s 
  • Working with the Sales Management team to develop and implement the appropriate strategies to maximise the value with these TPI’s. 
  • Contribution to the wider sales strategy, working with the marketing team to develop products, propositions and campaigns to deliver the required sales targets and wider Engie objectives. 
  • Negotiation and implementation of commercial terms, ensuring all TPI’s have a valid agreement.   
  • Ensure TPI Compliance, input into the development and roll out a TPI Compliance Programme including pro-active complaint management.  
  • Effective communication with key stakeholders across other departments, to drive improvements to business process and drive efficiencies. 

 

Skills and Experience

  • Experience of the UK Energy Market with special reference to Retail. 
  • Proven track record of sales techniques and optimisation, across a wide variety of sales segments. 
  • Excellent people management skills, with demonstrable ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

About the role

The purpose of the role is to develop, negotiate and implement contracts to purchase electricity and gas exported to the Grid by generators, together with embedded benefits and any associated green certificates.

 

ENGIE are recruiting for an Energy and Renewables Originator based in Leeds. This is a Permanent role, working full time Monday to Friday. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.


 

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the delivery of budget export margins on an individual basis within the Power Purchase team; sign New Business and renew existing business.

  • Business Development – Establish contact and build relationship with potential new business partners including banks, financiers, consultants, lawyers or direct customers.
  • Account Management - maintain and develop relationships with existing customers. Organise and attend events and meetings.
  • Build Portfolio – Origination of Power, Gas and Renewable Certificates. Propose PPA deals to internal stakeholders to attain sanction according to internal processes. Follow internal governance (including writing investment proposals) and present proposals to UK and European board level.
  • Contract Development and Legal Review - Liaise with ENGIE Legal department to tailor customer-specific contracts and review existing terms and conditions to maintain ENGIE’s commercial interests.
  • Investment Appraisal – build financial models to forecast expected margins and spend levels for proposed contracts.
  • Process Improvement – Ensure internal processes are efficient and fit for purpose.
  • Product Development - Provide intelligence for and assist the Product Development Team in researching and developing a range of market-leading Export Products, PPAs and Corporate PPAs.
  • Risk Management – Adhere to, and assist with the creation of, Risk Policy. Adherence to internal processes and risk frameworks.

Key Requirements

  • Experience in Sales and/or deal negotiation
  • Experience in Energy industry · Experience of contract development
  • Demonstrated ability to succeed in a complex environment
  • Degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, preferable
  • Ability to negotiate complex long-term contracts, often within multiparty scenarios.
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of UK Energy wholesale and Retail markets.
  • Excellent knowledge of all applicable current and future legislation impacting the renewable energy market.
  • Appreciation of key drivers and contract requirements for renewable generation developers, lawyers, banks and equity investors.
  • Ability to identify and reconcile business and customer needs in order to build bespoke products and develop current PPA product suit

Purpose of the Job: 

The role of the IT Service Administrator within the UK IT team is to support the UK IT team to conduct general IT service management and procurement activities, ensuring processes follow the correct governance processes, and to produce reports and statistics relating to the overall management and delivery of IT services to its customers across the UK. 

This role is for 3 months with a possibility of extension.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raise purchase order requests ensuring they meet the requirements of the authorisation, and they are coded correctly 
  • Log and resolve purchase order and invoice queries in a timely manner, ensuring suppliers are kept updated 
  • Work closely with Finance Teams to understand the effect of the Procurement role and its impact on these areas within the business 
  • Identify areas for change which will result in a smoother flow of costs processed and liaise with the relevant areas to implement that change 

IT Service Management 

  • Deal with ad-hoc queries and requests from employees regarding IT Service Management 
  • Run reports and produce KPIs to support T&G UK IT management 

General 

  • Support the administration activities for the wider UK T&G IT team 


Qualifications & Experience:

  • A-levels or equivalent, or suitable experience 
  • Experience working within a support function providing support to customers and wider functional teams, ideally within an IT environment 
  • Experience of dealing with stakeholders in a customer service and / or delivery setting 

 

 

Skills: 

  • Ability to understand financial analysis practices, principles, applications and analytic methods 
  • Organised and methodical approach to processes, data capture, analysis and reporting 
  • Analytical with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power BI (desirable) 
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to identify and solve problems 
  • Committed to a high standard of performance 
  • Enthusiastic and committed to the Company’s aims and objectives
