Your mission
As Project Controller – Middle East in our Finance & Administration team, you will contribute to our mission every day by playing a crucial role in driving financial performance and project governance within the Middle East region.

You will be responsible for supporting the Regional Finance Controller in integrating financial standards and systems, as well as ensuring the financial health and compliance of projects. Your mission will include working closely with Project Managers, the Operations team, and the Accounting team, ensuring the accuracy of financial data, challenging project performance, and supporting overall business development through sound financial management.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Support the Finance Controller and CFO in deploying and integrating the finance organization across the Middle East, including implementing group standards and systems.
  • Challenge and support Project Managers on the financial performance of their projects.
  • Review and monitor project status, budgets, forecasts, and estimates.
  • Collaborate with entities to produce monthly and quarterly financial statements, KPIs, and budgets.
  • Manage and improve financial reporting systems, project account codes, timesheets, and adherence to CFO instructions related to project financials.
  • Set up and ensure procedures related to statutory reporting and reconciliation processes under ENGIE Tractebel Group standards.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely client invoicing in coordination with the project teams.
  • Analyze SG&A, working capital, cash flow, bonds, risks & opportunities, and foreign exchange impacts.
  • Stay updated on new financial, accounting, and tax regulations affecting the business.
  • Ensure compliance of all Middle East entities with ENGIE Tractebel finance & accounting policies.
  • Contribute to defining procedures and methods related to project accounting and financial integration in business development.

Your qualifications

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Additional certifications (CPA, CFA, ACCA, MBA) are a plus.

Your experience

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Finance (Business Control, Accounting, Consolidation, Internal Audit, etc.).
  • Experience in consulting and complex, multicultural organizations preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting systems and SAP is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to generate budgets and financial reports.

Your mission  
As Senior Civil Works Site Engineer in our Proximity department of the Metier ‘Civil Engineering & Infra’, part of the Business Area Nuclear. You will address the technical follow-up of the civil works related to the different projects that are ongoing and will be realized in the frame of 

  • Long Term Operations – namely the projects associated to the life time extension of Tihange 3;
  • Decommissioning and Dismantling – namely both the new build and modifications associated to the final shutdown of Tihange 1 and  2;
  • Plant Operational Support – namely the civil works assistance we deliver to the operational power plants (e.g. from maintenance works for cooling towers or other important structures, to completely new build structures, as e.g. Spent Fuel Storage Facilities);
  • You will join the Site Team under the mentorship of the Site Lead.

 


 

Your key responsibilities  

  • interfacing between Tractebel’s back office, the Client and Contractors realizing the works;
  • inspecting the Contractors’ execution activities, verifying compliance with execution drawings and documents (erection methodology etc.);
  • verifying and monitoring of Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) requirements;
  • management of the technical interfaces between Contractors;
  • management and follow up of main design modifications;
  • participation to regular meetings with the stakeholders: progress, challenges, interfaces, HSE, etc.;
  • drafting work orders and site orders, issuing notes on the execution and shortcomings, and checking the progress reports prepared by the Contractors;
  • continually exchanging information on developments in work, studies, etc.;
     

 

 

We would love to hear from people with  
 

  • A Master degree in civil/structural engineering.
  • Relevant professional experience in an engineering or contractor’s environment, including design assignments and erection follow-up, preferably in an industrial environment is an advantage;
  • Fluency in French and either Dutch or English;

Your mission  
As an Electrical Engineer in our Nuclear and Conventional Power Generation Business, you will manage all electrical power-related aspects for construction and renovation projects at nuclear and conventional power stations. You will work primarily on projects at nuclear power plants, ensuring both electrical systems and infrastructure meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency. 

 

Your key responsibilities  

  • Lead the design, renovation, and optimization studies for electrical systems, ensuring compliance with local and international standards and regulations.
  • Define the ratings, technical specifications, and overall design of electrical systems, including generators, generator protection systems, breakers, transformers, MV and LV motors, AC and DC boards, emergency diesel generating sets, cabling, and more.
  • Serve as the Contract Owner for electrical equipment or service tenders, overseeing bid analysis, technical-commercial negotiations, and the awarding of contracts.
  • Manage the technical and commercial follow-up of contracts, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Participate in factory acceptance tests, supervise on-site assembly, and assist in the commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, technological advancements, and changes in nuclear and electrical standards and regulations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of methods and processes in electrical engineering, particularly in the context of nuclear generation units.

  • Academic Qualifications: Master’s in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with at least 4 years of relevant experience in an industrial context. Experience in the nuclear field is an advantage.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong background in electrical system design, optimization, and safety, with experience in nuclear power environments being a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Interest in analyzing and finding solutions to a variety of technical challenges in electrical power systems.

Votre mission

En tant qu’Ingénieur Nucléaire Petits Réacteurs Modulaires et Avancés (SMR/AMR) au sein de notre département Sûreté et Ingénierie Nucléaire, vous contribuerez chaque jour à notre mission en jouant un rôle crucial dans la coordination transverse des activités de notre équipe dédiée aux projets SMR/AMR.

Vos principales responsabilités

  • Soutenir l’Ingénieur responsable des activités SMR/AMR du département.
  • Coordonner les réponses techniques aux appels d’offres SMR/AMR pour fournir des retours consolidés aux équipes commerciales et projets.
  • Estimer et analyser les efforts requis sur les périmètres SMR/AMR afin d’aider les responsables d’équipes dans leur gestion de charge.
  • Animer des réunions internes pour partager des retours d’expériences, diffuser les bonnes pratiques et assurer le suivi des activités R&D sur les SMR/AMR.

Nous aimerions faire la connaissance de personnes ayant

  • Un diplôme de Master Ingénieur (civil ou industriel) ou une équivalence acquise par l’expérience.
  • 5 ans d’expérience dans le secteur de l’industrie nucléaire, de préférence en ingénierie.
  • Une expérience en gestion d’équipes multidisciplinaires est un plus.
  • Une expertise spécifique en sûreté nucléaire et/ou SMR/AMR serait un atout majeur.
  • Langues : Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais (un bon niveau de néerlandais est un plus).

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Planning Engineer to join our team. The Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing project plans and schedules, ensuring that all project activities are executed efficiently and in accordance with project objectives and timelines. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in project planning, a solid understanding of project management principles, and a proven track record of successful project coordination and execution.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, work breakdown structures, and project schedules using industry-standard planning software and tools, ensuring that all project activities are accurately documented and aligned with project objectives and deliverables.

2. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to define project goals, milestones, and resource requirements, and create detailed project plans that facilitate effective project execution and coordination.

3. Monitor project progress and performance, tracking key performance indicators and project milestones to identify any deviations, risks, or potential delays, and provide recommendations for mitigation strategies and corrective actions.

4. Conduct regular project reviews and assessments, addressing any plan changes, deviations, or modifications, and providing guidance and support to project teams to ensure that projects are executed in accordance with established plans and schedules.

5. Analyze project data and performance metrics, and prepare regular reports and updates for project stakeholders, highlighting project achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

6. Participate in the development and implementation of project planning methodologies and best practices, and contribute to the enhancement of planning processes and tools for improved project efficiency and performance.

7. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure that project plans are aligned with project requirements, stakeholder expectations, and industry standards, and that all project activities adhere to established timelines and budgets.

8. Provide training and guidance to project teams on project planning protocols, tools, and best practices, and ensure that all team members are equipped with the necessary resources and information for successful project execution.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certification is preferred.

 

2. Proven work experience of at least 10 years in project planning, with a strong focus on developing and managing project plans in the [specific industry] sector.

3. Proficiency in project planning software and tools, such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar planning platforms.

4. In-depth knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices, with a solid understanding of project planning techniques and strategies.

5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex project data and provide effective solutions for project planning challenges and optimizations.

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders.

7. Experience in the fields of "scheduling and planning" in well-known consulting companies / construction contracting.

8. Competence and skill in scheduling on Primavera programs (P3, P6) for project planning - the latest version, Informatics and graphic visual presentations of data (Infographics).

9. Candidate who is fluent in Arabic and English is preferred.

Jouw missie

 

Als Design Engineer Infraworks in onze afdeling Infrastructure draag je elke dag bij aan onze missie door een cruciale rol te spelen in het ontwerpen, modelleren en optimaliseren van complexe infrastructuurprojecten. Met behulp van geavanceerde softwaretools zoals Autodesk InfraWorks en Civil 3D creëer je innovatieve oplossingen voor wegen, rioleringssystemen en andere infrastructuren. 

Als Design Engineer is het mogelijk om vanuit onze kantoren in Antwerpen, Gent, Hasselt of Brussel te werken.


Je belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden:
 

Ontwerpen en modelleren van infrastructuurprojecten:

  • Gebruik maken van InfraWorks en Civil 3D om ontwerpconcepten voor infrastructuur te visualiseren, simuleren en optimaliseren (wegen, spoorwegen, rioleringssystemen, etc.).
  • Analyseren van topografische, geospatiale en geotechnische gegevens voor het creëren van realistische en betrouwbare modellen.
  • Uitvoeren van dimensionering en berekeningen voor wegontwerpen, waterbeheer en andere infrastructuurnetwerken.

Samenwerking met projectteams:

  • Nauw samenwerken met interne teams en externe stakeholders om ervoor te zorgen dat ontwerpen voldoen aan specificaties en lokale normen.
  • Coördineren met de ontwerp-, engineering- en constructieteams om de technische haalbaarheid van projecten te waarborgen.

Analyseren van projectgegevens en simulaties uitvoeren:

  • Integreren van geografische gegevens en andere informatie uit terreinmetingen in BIM-modellen voor een efficiënter ontwerp- en bouwproces.
  • Gebruik maken van simulaties om de impact van het ontwerp te evalueren op milieu, kosten en tijd.

Ondersteuning bij documentatie en rapporten:

  • Ondersteunen bij het opstellen van projectdocumentatie, rapporten en presentaties voor klanten en belanghebbenden.

 
We horen graag van mensen met  
 
Minimaal een bachelor in Civiele Techniek, Bouwkunde of een gerelateerd vakgebied.
Uitgebreide ervaring met Autodesk InfraWorks en Civil 3D.

  • Autodesk InfraWorks: Gedetailleerd 3D-modelleren van infrastructuurprojecten en het uitvoeren van simulaties van realistische scenario’s.
  • Autodesk Civil 3D: Ontwerpen van wegen, analyse van rioleringssystemen en het beheren van topografische en geotechnische data.
  • BIM (Building Information Modeling): Bekwaamheid in het werken met BIM voor het optimaliseren van ontwerpprocessen en de samenwerking tussen verschillende teams.

Grondige kennis van infrastructuurontwerp en -modellering.

  • Grondige kennis van ontwerpprincipes voor hoofdwegen, primaire wegen en andere infrastructuurelementen.
  • Ervaring in het ontwerpen en modelleren van rioleringssystemen, wegen en andere civiele infrastructuur.

Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en ervaring met het werken in teamverband.
Probleemoplossend vermogen en oog voor detail.
Bij de sollicitatie dient een portfolio te worden toegevoegd, waarin eerder uitgevoerd werk en ontwerpvoorbeelden worden getoond.
