Context:

GEMS Security is responsible for the Group's cross-functional crisis management process, which applies throughout the Group. A project to strengthen and harmonize the crisis management process is being carried out in France and internationally, in order to meet internal control requirements. 

GEMS Security, contributes to the protection of the sensitive and/or strategic information by raising staff awareness on information protection, by conducting a mapping of these data in liaise with all internal or external entities involved, by implementing the Group information classification, and by conducting (or participating) to the investigations when needed.

GEMS Security contributes to the company's performance and value creation by strengthening the protection of people, tangible and intangible assets, including the company's reputation. To this end, the Security Department manages the company's security risks (anticipation, prevention and protection) and advises management on all identified current and future threats and risks.

Role:

  • Improve crisis management best practice documentation with a set of GEMS correspondents.

  • Support the implementation of internal control reviews for crisis management. The mission will enable us to improve our crisis management skills on concrete cases. It will also gives us an insight into the crisis management process within a major group. This project is being rolled out across the entire GEMS perimeter.

  • Train teams as needed.

 

Security risk analysis : Information protection and Business Intelligence

  • Monitor the correct application of the information protection policy at every stage of the information life cycle: human, organizational, technological.
  • Develop a culture of information protection within the company (awareness/training plan) and with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Business Intelligence-Security Watch: participate in the development of the Business Intelligence-Security Watch process within a regulatory and ethical framework that complies with the law. Contribute to the analysis of the security risks, identify weak signals and acquiring relevant, targeted information.

 

Technical skills:

  • Knowledge of the crisis management process.
  • Knowledge of OSINT
  • Ability to write and summarize.

 

Soft skills:

Given the diversity of the people we deal with, this role requires :

  • Organizational skills: ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.
  • Autonomy: ability to work independently, make decisions and take responsibility for actions.
  • Motivated, and truly collaborative. Sense of responsibility.

Academic background and experience:

 

  • Diploma prepared: Master 2 or specialized master's degree.
  • Target schools/universities: Specialties (and possible options) : Specialties: project management, crisis management, IT, risk management, security.

Languages:

For exchanges with correspondents abroad, a command of professional English is essential (oral and written).
