Short Term Power Optimizer - Rotation Program

Mission / Description of role

Within your first mission, you become part of the “Assets Optimization and Trading” where you play a key role in providing energy management services for our own and 3rd party assets in “Italy”:

• Became expert in Italian power market players and elements (Power Plants, transmission grid flows)

• Became expert in power spot market (Day Ahead; Intraday, Ancillaries markets): understanding and deep learning on the main drivers and fundamentals

• Manage power assets with analysis based on probabilistic models, maximizing results and minimizing risk, through all flexibility offered by the markets

• Assess market strategies of competitors through the development of new analysis tools

Hard Skills

• An interdisciplinary skill is a must: Economical (trading, risk management), Financial (P&L, Reporting) & Digital (Data, Coding, PO)
• Any knowledge of physical power and gas markets is a plus
• Any knowledge of Python or similar program is high recommended 

Education of professional background

Bachelor or master in relevant studies (Engineering, Mathematics or Data science)

Professional experience on energy markets and/or digitalization is a plus.

Languages

You are fluent in English. 

Any other EU language is a plus
