We are currently looking for a person with advanced knowledge of public procurement legislation to join our IT PROCUREMENT DEPARTMENT, as PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST. In this role, you will design and build new functionalities and processes, improve day to day business experience, and optimize the existing processes.

What you will do:

  • You will ensure the procurement process runs smoothly, from receiving the request, organizing the procedure, signing the contract, to monitoring its execution.
  • You will conduct extensive and comprehensive market analyses, depending on the allocated procurement category, to find the best solutions for selecting suppliers.
  • You will propose the procurement strategy/offers/orders/contracts to the direct hierarchical manager for approval, aiming to achieve operational efficiency.
  • You will analyze the specifications, discuss them with the beneficiary/internal client, and ensure all procurement documents comply with the requirements.
  • You will organize and conduct the procurement procedure in accordance with legislation and internal procedures, ensuring proper archiving of documents as per legal provisions.
  • You will ensure the study of offers from both technical and commercial perspectives.
  • You will analyze the eligibility of bidders and the financial offers submitted by potential suppliers, organize negotiation meetings, and participate according to the mandate received from the hierarchical manager.
  • You will justify the choice of procurement method following the conducted analysis.
  • During the procurement process, you will draft and send clarifications or modifications within the legal deadlines or as provided by current procedures.
  • You will efficiently and professionally represent the company in relations with potential suppliers in your area of activity, respecting the company's current procedures and practices.
  • You will ensure compliance with current legislation and the implementation of work procedures specific to the field of activity and the internal clients' work policies.
  • You will ensure deadlines for managed procurements are met, signaling any delays if necessary.
  • You will provide consultancy to internal clients regarding the drafting of requirements in the specifications for initiating the procurement procedure.
  • You will ensure the annual supplier evaluation process runs smoothly by initiating the evaluation in the dedicated application, completing questionnaires, and corroborating information received from the internal client. For public procurement contracts, you will prepare the certificates.
  • You will maintain the relationship with suppliers during the execution of procurement contracts and ensure the resolution of all non-conformities that arise in the execution of procurement contracts within your area of responsibility (new contracts or other allocated contracts).
  • You will prepare various reports and analyses regarding the procurement files you manage (history, ongoing procurements, completed procurements).
  • You will provide support to new and junior employees for carrying out activities.

Desired education, expertise, and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree;
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in procurement/supply chain and/or supplier relationship management;
  • Knowledge of legislation and procedures in public procurement;
  • Advanced knowledge of working with SAP (MM module);
  • Advanced knowledge of working with Microsoft Office;
  • English language skills – at least intermediate level;
  • Interdisciplinary knowledge: technical, economic, legal;
  • Very good communication and negotiation skills;
  • Good analytical and synthesis skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously;
  • Good organizational and planning skills;
  • Ability to meet deadlines.

About: Lead procurement and contracts function in India for Engie’s renewable energy projects, O&M and other functions

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Manage end to end Procurement & Contracts Management function.
  • Detailed costing and estimation to optimize the EPC costs during the development phase
  • Post securing the project, handle the team during the entire procurement process including floating of RFP/RFQs, coordinate with technical team for technical evaluation, lead commercial evaluation upto contract finalisation including negotiations with EPC, BOS, O&M and equipment suppliers.
  • Managing all project contractual activities including drafting, evaluation, negotiation & execution of subcontracts in coordination with legal team.
  • Overall responsibility for planning, making strategies for Change Order, Contracts management. Planning & defining policies & processes to build in efficiency in supply chain & procurement of regular purchases such as Modules, BOS, Power evacuation, power transformer, services etc.
  • Managing logistics operations, coordinating with external agencies to achieve seamless & cost-effective transport solution.
  • Management of consultant for coordination with Customs, Excise, Taxation departments for various duty benefits and schemes including thorough understanding of Tax & Duty structures for Products & Services in the RE sector.
  • Managing the end to end project insurances including EAR, ALOP, IAR, MLOP, terrorism, CGL etc. 
  • Track international supply chains & trends on wind, solar, storage etc and develop new vendor base and work closely in conjunction with regional and global procurement teams to develop an effective Procurement strategy.
  • Develop the Purchase/Procurement Policies, Process, Systems in line with Budget and timelines set.
  • Spend analysis, Strategic planning, forecasting, and Budgeting for Sourcing and procurement.
  • Continuous involvement in Global Supplier Selection Process to develop a supply base that provides competitive advantage in quality, value/cost, delivery, and technology.

Successful Applicant must have

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering & MBA – operations preferred
  • Minimum 12-15 years of work experience with 7 years in Procurement and Supply Chain in Renewable Energy space.
  • Must possess thorough knowledge of utility scale, grid connected Solar & Wind based Renewable Energy projects, with experience of atleast 1 GW of projects
  • Must possess a strong vendor network and excellent connects across Domestic & International equipment & service suppliers, EPC providers and service providers
  • Procurement background in a leading RE EPC company / RE IPP.
  • Should possess excellent skill sets in Communication, Negotiation, Networking & Relationship Management.
  • Hands-on ability to work in a very leanly staffed environment.

As the IT Advisor at ENGIE North America, based in Houston, TX, you will serve as a key link between IT & Digital and various business departments, supporting ENGIE’s zero-carbon transition in North America. Reporting to the Applications Systems Manager, your duties will include:

 

  • Serve as a key liaison between IT and Finance, addressing consolidation and reporting questions, issues, enhancement requests, and project deliverables
  • Collaborate with stakeholders—including internal teams, external partners, and third-party software vendors—to deliver effective solutions
  • Analyze, extract, transform, load, and model data and master data to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Identify, analyze, and remediate data and master data inconsistencies, driving timely resolution with Finance and IT resources, especially during Close and Budget cycles

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Information Technology and business operations, with a strong focus on designing, implementing, and supporting technology solutions that enhance business insight, financial forecasting, and data integration
  • Hands-on experience with consolidation platforms such as SAP BPC, SAP BFC, SAP Group Reporting, Hyperion, OneStream, or similar systems
  • Proficiency in MS SQL and other scripting/query languages for data management and reporting
  • Understanding of complex consolidation and elimination rules for both US GAAP and IFRS across US, Canada, and Europe
  • Experience in financial consolidation within large-scale corporate landscapes, managing hundreds of legal entities
  • Experience working under both Finance and IT teams, with a strong understanding of cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience working with companies engaged in multiple business activities and partnerships

Compensation

Salary Range: $113,900 – $174,570 USD annually

Wat ga je doen als Finance Business Partner Renewable Gases?  

De energiemarkt is volop in beweging en ENGIE wil versneld overschakelen op duurzame energie. ENGIE gelooft in de combinatie van groene elektronen en groene moleculen. ENGIE Renewable Gases Europe (RGE) is verantwoordelijk voor de productie van het groen gas door vergisting uit reststromen van de voeding- en agrarische sectoren.  

 

Door de binnenkort te introduceren bijmengverplichting voor groen gas, zal de vraag hiernaar sterk toenemen. RGE heeft de ambitie om sterk te groeien, wat zal leiden tot substantiële investeringen in nieuwe en bestaande vergisters, terwijl de operational excellence van bestaande installaties niet uit het oog mag worden verloren.  

 

Jij bent onderdeel van het Management Team (MT) RGE Nederland, waar jij de rol van Finance Business Partner vervult. Je bent sparringpartner voor het MT aanspreekpunt voor alle financiële zaken. Je zorgt daarnaast voor betrouwbare financiële informatie en inzichten, zodat de juiste beslissingen worden genomen.  

 

Jij houdt je voor je afdeling bezig met: 

  • Als lid van het MT adviseren van het management bij het nemen van (financiële) beslissingen, en bijdragen aan de realisatie van de strategie;  

  • Volledige aansturing van de planning & control cyclus, inclusief prognoses, budgetten en bedrijfsplannen voor de afdeling; 

  • Ondersteunen bij en evalueren van contracten, commerciële voorstellen en business cases voor CAPEX-investeringen en potentiële acquisities; 

  • Analyseren en rapporteren van de financiële resultaten en prestaties.  

  • Optimaliseren van financiële systemen en bedrijfsprocessen binnen Finance en Renewable Gases, voor optimale stuurinformatie; 

  • Afstemmen en kennis delen met collega controllers in andere landen.

Je bent onderdeel van het Finance team en werkt voor het Nederlandse deel van ENGIE Renewable Gases Europe (RGE). De veelzijdigheid van jouw rol zorgt ervoor dat je contact hebt met verschillende collega’s uit diverse (internationale) organisatieonderdelen. Je stemt regelmatig af met collega’s binnen Finance Nederland, RGE en ENGIE Groep. Je rapporteert aan de Country CFO NL. ENGIE kenmerkt zich in Nederland door een kleinschalig karakter met korte lijnen en een informele cultuur. Je wordt ondersteund door een financial controller die jou voorziet van de relevante rapportages en de nodige kennis van processen en systemen. 

  

Wat neem jij mee? 

Als Finance Business Partner ben je in staat de kansen en risico’s in de markt voor biogasproductie te (leren) begrijpen. Naast jouw inhoudelijke kennis en ervaring vinden wij het belangrijk dat jij een ondernemende instelling hebt, creatief kunt denken als financieel strateeg, overtuigingskracht hebt en dat je denkt in kansen. Daarnaast heb je:  

  • Wo-werk- en denkniveau, met daarbij een afgeronde hbo-/wo-opleiding met een financiële richting; 

  • Je kunt structuur aanbrengen en duidelijkheid verschaffen in financiële resultaten en vooruitzichten, ook binnen de soms complexe omgeving (en systemen) die past bij een internationaal bedrijf.  

  • Een goede beheersing van Nederlands en Engels (in woord en geschrift). 

  • Ervaring in een technische omgeving en SAP kennis zijn een pré.  

  

Wat bieden wij jou als Finance Business Partner RGE

  • Een aantrekkelijk salaris. Deze functie is ingeschaald in Fuco F. Hier hoort een salaris bij van € 5.800,- tot € 8.300,- per maand (met doorgroeimogelijkheden). Definitieve inschaling vindt plaats aan de hand van meegebrachte kennis en ervaring; 

  • Een contract voor 32 of 40 uur per week; 

  • 30 vakantiedagen (o.b.v. een fulltime dienstverband); 

  • 8% vakantietoeslag; 

  • Een variabele bonus van maximaal 19,5% (afhankelijk van inschaling);  

  • Een pensioenregeling bij het ABP waarvan wij 70% van de kosten op ons nemen; 

  • Korting op je energiecontract met 100% groene stroom van ENGIE; 

  • Een persoonlijk ontwikkelbudget van € 500,- per jaar; 

  • ENGIE streeft naar een CO₂ vrije wereld in 2045 en daarom bieden wij een duurzaam mobiliteitsbeleid. Een leasefietsregeling, private-leaseregeling, woon-werkleaseregeling en gratis met het OV zijn daar allemaal onderdeel van.

  • Correct posting of entries and inter-company transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with manual of authority (MOA), Standard operating procedures (SOP) and company policies, GST requirements.
  • Follow up on invoices with dispute (Highlight any discrepancies, exceptional purchases, losses) and maintenance of open Purchase Orders.
  • Rejection of duplicate/non-compliant invoices/credit notes.
  • Handle petty cash reimbursements, staff claims (non-employment related).
  • Assist GL to carry out month-end and year-end accounts closing.
  • Prepare monthly schedules, review of supplier SOA and AP aging, supplier/audit reconciliation and follow up on long outstanding / unreconciled items.
  • Handle receipts administration for customers
  • Customer Master Data Creation & Maintenance
  • Plays an active support role in digital transformation roadmap to drive digitalization initiative for e-invoicing.
  • Assist to identify areas of improvement to streamline, simplify, standardize, digitalise and automate systems and processes.
  • Besides duties listed above detailed in RACI Matrix, to perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

 

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting/ Finance
  • At least 2 years relevant experience
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Mission:

As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will attract and hire the best talent and shape strategic talent acquisition initiatives to support the ENGIE´s ambition to be the best energy transition utility. You will focus on talent acquisition excellence, employer branding, internal mobility, early career, and candidate and hiring managers' experience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, leveraging advanced sourcing techniques, acting as a TA consulting partner to the business.
  • Build strong relationships with Hiring Managers, HRBPs, and other key stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment, anticipation, and internal mobility.
  • Grant exceptional candidate and hiring manager´s experience , from first interaction all the way through to onboarding to ensure a seamless process and high satisfaction rates.
  • Collaborate to develop and execute effective employer branding initiatives to attract the best talent. Actively participating in talent related events (summits, webinars, job fairs etc), acting as an ENGIE ambassador.
  • Implement Talent Acquisition process improvement initiatives for hirings in all levels across the company.
  • Collaborate on international, cross-functional HR projects to enhance recruitment processes and employer branding.
     

Key skills, knowledge and abilities:

  • +5 years of relevant experience as a Talent Acquisition team member in challenging recruiting environment at multinational companies.
  • University degree in HR, Management, Business Administration or related field. Relevant Master´s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in effectively partnering with senior hiring managers and business leaders,  working on a variety of roles and levels.
  • Strong sourcing expertise using different channels, job boards, especially LinkedIn.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire.
  • Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and on-going projects.
  • Customer focus, ability to work in a remote and matrix environment, accountability, and detailed orientation are key competencies.
  • Data-driven mindset and the ability to bring insights from the external market and leverage analytics to informed decision-making.
  • Fluent in both, English and Spanish.
